Horrible Customer Service Experiences
I am writing to you today to report an issue with a Electric Leather Recliner I purchased on 20/11/2020 from your location on Maloney Boul. ,Gatineau, Qc.
which I received on 19/01/2021, I also purchased a five-year extended warranty, which will expire on 19/01/2026.

So far, the chair has required the following repairs:
* The chair arms became flat and were repaired by a person named Eric, an
outside contractor that you use for this type of service.
* The springs in the seat bottom were also changed by Eric on another visit.
* The leather began to dry out and crack, despite my cleaning and polishing it
with the supplied kit every few months.
This time, the repair was done by a man named Dominic, who is the owner of
the company that Eric works for and also his brother.
About 9 months ago, I called The Brick again because I noticed more spots where the leather was cracking. The seat bottom was also becoming uncomfortably hard to sit on. It felt as though the springs were poking through. This caused me to develop a sore on my bottom.

This time I believe the technician’s name was Stephan. He inspected the chair and said that all of the leather on the arm needed to be replaced. He also said that he would try to replace the seat cushion but that The Brick rarely replaces those. I waited a long time, as Stephan had explained that it would take quite a while to get the leather.

However, four or five months ago, I called The Brick, and I was told that NO REPAIRS would be done because the cost would exceed the value of the chair. I’ve called about once a month, four times in all, and each time been told that the Store Manager would contact me by phone/Email after making her decision on what to offer me.

Unfortunately, the recliner is now basically unusable.

Since I’m still well within my warranty period, I would like my electric recliner to be replaced.

Their reply pertains to a SOFA that I do not own. I want the Seat replaced as the Recliner Cushion is now so uncomfortable that it causes me to have Sores on my bottom from the Springs poking through, making the Chair completely unusable. I have pictures and visited my Doctor to find out what the Sores on my Buttocks were. I want my Steel Electric Reciner replaced under Warranty.

Recommendation: Record Converstions, Take pictures, Ask Questions, Keep Records of Names and Dates
