The Brick King and state warranty

My washing machine broke down 5 days ago I've tried calling warranty emailing them with no response at all ! I have 3 kids and my laundry is piling up fast. I paid for the 5 year warranty when we bought our set from the brick this is rediculous ! Ive called the brick contacted corporate office still no help at all from anyone they just tell me to call king and state I do and have no luck stay on the call for 30 mins then it drops your call. I'm so mad !

I bought a 4 year extended warranty from The Brick. King and State honoured the first repair. The second repair was deferred by King and State to Trans Global Service which refused to do the repair unless we signed a damage liability waiver which I believe is illegal. I believe The Brick must take responsibilty for selling an unenforcible warranty and being associated with such repair companies.

The Brick Warranty

I will no longer buy something from leons or the brick. The warranty they offer is the biggest scam of all scams. No one will take responsibilty and your claim falls between the cracks. King and state don't answer their phones, don't respond to emails and don't acknowledge submitted claims. From this day forward I will no longer say anything good about these two stores. Biggest joke around!

The Brick Samsung 65 inch curved 4k tv

I have a samsung 65 inch curved tv that cracked internally on its own. Turned on my tv, and a big crack appeared up the middle. No one was anywhere near the tv. Called the brick king and state, all Said it was damaged by someone. No one was near it to touch it. The bricks warranty is useless. This is not the first time I have had warranty issues, but will be the last time I get one. Don't ever waste your time buying the warranty.

The Brick Delivery promised on oct 20

HI,

We had brought furniture from your Scarborough Store ( Order # 1003044LBMH ) on Oct 3rd and it was informed by the Sales Person Abdul Aejaz & the billing the staff that part of the stuff would be delivered on Oct 20 and rest by Nove 10 & we agreed on the same. Today we where sitting at the home waiting for the delivery as we took leave from office for the same. By 3.30 pm called the store and as per them it might be delivered by next week or so.What kind of professionalism you guys hold, atleast you guys could have informed the same, so that we could have gone for work.This was one of the pathetic services we received in this country .

Hi, I purchased a set of dinning table in January 2020 with purchasing another 3 years extra warranty from Richmond hill location yonge & highway7. The top glass was lose, therefore I made a claim online for warranty coverage, they called me after a week and offer me $300 store credit that I keep the table and fix it by myself which I didn't accept it...

The Brick King and state

Here I am again write a complain as I have not heard from anyone, no one is returning my calls or emails and to get through to this company is a joke. Do no buy any warrenty through the brick! It s a joke king and state is the worse company I have ever dealt with. I use to swear by the bricks warranty's. Im going on 14 months a broken dishwasher. First year through samsung sent out guys 4 times cant fix it, have replaced basically everything but the shell of the dishwasher. They also didn't turn the water off after they pointed out a leak on the dishwasher they would not fix cause once again they didn't have the parts so it was on my husband to do there job. Them not turning the water off caused water to leak into my living room after my husband removed the part and left the house to get a new one. 7000 dollars damage. We sat on a broken dish washer for a year, back to hand washing dishes (as I was for 2 years prior to getting the dishwasher) to calling king and state they keep promising they will send out someone. But they never do. I have now been trying to get my dishwasher fixed since aug 2020 and nothing.

The Brick Delivery wait times

We ordered a couch on July 11th, 2020. At that time they told us it would be 4-6 weeks delivery, the first week of September "at the latest". It seemed like a long time to wait but we really liked the look of the couch.
When we called on September 10th they told us "not until the middle of October". Now it's mid October and they're saying "some time in November"
I'm not sure how something could take 4 months instead of 4 weeks but if we had known about the delay we never would have ordered in the first place. We just want to have somewhere to sit! Please!

The Brick lg lmxs307s fridge is not cooling - we are without a fridge for 2 weeks and no replacement yet!

Hi Brick Team,

I bought this expensive $4K fridge with Instaview door in door, 30cu ft, sub zero drawer only in 2018 (2 yrs ago) from the Brick in Kanata. It broke in September and we tried to contact King and State. The only way to contact them is via web site as they don't pick up the phone (I called 20 times! and they disconnect you int he 11th minute of waiting), this is ridiculous, why do I paid an extended warranty? For no service!

Finally their technician came on Oct 8th and following the tests he declared this fridge as unrepairable. I tried to contact King and W garbage company but they don't pick up..l HELP! I have 4 kids and no fridge. Shame on Brick.

The Brick Warranty provider

I had purchased extended warranty through the brick for my appliances. I have been trying to call the kings and state warranty several times as this was directed to me by the Brick but no one doesn't answer my phone calls. What kind of business is this? The Brick promised to call back and they never did.

The Brick Stove

I bought their extended warranty thru king & state and when I called to get service as the oven is broken I was placed on hold for over 1/2 hour each time and then they hung up on me. I called over 10 times and the same kept happening. When I finally got thru a mean lady took my info and scheduled a service for oct 21 (today is sept 30th) so over three weeks with no oven. How can a family do without an oven for three especially with thanksgiving coming up?

I wish I could say this was the Brick's fault - it is not. The entire industry is in a tailspin over the Covid issues. Service people are not as widely available and parts are even more difficult to get.

The Brick Warranty coverage/repair for whirlpool dishwasher

Purchased dishwasher and extended warranty ( on the advice of salesperson). Told to contact them with issues as they had their own repair people. 17 months later the dishwasher stops working...pump and motherboard need replacement.
Guess what! The store takes NO responsibility. I have been fighting with both The Brick and King and State for going on six weeks.

The Brick Sofa and love seat I am complaining about the delivery.

I have an issue with the Brick Store in Mississauga South Branch, 1607 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON, L4X 1L5, Canada.
On August 16, 2020, me and my wife went to the Brick Store looking for furniture, we bought a sofa and love seat, the salesperson (Raji G) asked when do we need the delivery, we specified the date September 29, 2020 as we are going to move on Sept 28. Raji said okay, he stated this date in the computer and declared that the items were available in the stock and would be delivered to us on the said date and stated "you are lucky because your items are available as most of the goods are not". Everything was moving smoothly. Two days ago, we went again to the Brick and bought other items but with another salesperson (Sandra G) who was very professional and helpful. We asked Sandra the sofa and the love seat to be shipped together with the other items at the same day. Sandra said let us fix this point with the customer service section, we went there, she fixed everything and explained to us clearly each item when it would be ready, we were happy with our purchasing, but suddenly we had a shock, when the customer service agent claimed that the sofa and the love seat were not available in the stock and would be ready in November 2020. Raji called us one week ago and said "do you need the sofa and love seat now", we replied, no, as we informed him that our moving to the new house is on Sept 28 and we need it on Sept 29, 2020, he said, "perfect, no worries, you would receive on that date". But after discovering that our items were not available, we understood that Raji sold out our items to another customer, is this acceptable!. Anyhow, Today Sept 18, 2020 we went again to the Brick store, Raji told us to visit him on Friday to solve this problem, as we saw him the last time and complained to him why this happened, he said "now I have 3 customers on line, come on Friday", turned his back and left us wondering. We listened to him and went today to the store, as usual, the same situation, he ignored us again and said "I have customers, wait for me", we waited but in vain, neglecting us and did not care about our issue. We went down to the customer service section, asked "where is the manager", they said "he was in meeting for 10 minutes", we waited, after 10 minutes, they changed their words, and said sorry the manager in vacation, we were astonished why was this change in telling the truth, we felt that there was something wrong with them, they chatted with each other, then suddenly a lady came to us and said "I will take up to the manager", we discovered he was not the manager, no matter, we tried to explain to him our problem, he even did not listen to us, and he was not helpful at all as they are agreed on what to say. It was really weird behavior and not convenient. We built our decisions on this sofa and love seat, we bought many things that match with the items, it is an important part in the house as it is the living room, so now we have to wait about 2 months hoping to receive our living room, we explained to the salesperson everything and Raji promised everything would be as we wish, and this what we got from him. We are completely not satisfied with this conduct. We kindly ask you to consider our issue and hoping to receive a satisfactory outcome. We have not cancelled our sofa and love seat till now wishing to receive them earlier at the end of September or start of October. We clearly know that because of COVID-19 most of the items are not available in the stock and the date of delivery is not accurate, everything is approximately. But Raji was a different case as he was pretty sure that the items were available and ready for delivery at the date we determined. If Raji told us the truth from the beginning, we would not be disturbed at all. This is a matter of honesty and professionalism.

The Brick they deliver late and incomplete orders

Delivery late as 7 days on the order and then deliver only part of what is ordered and then say the rest will arrive 2 days later and they did not assemble the items purchased and we had to pay a third party for assembly and disposal of the cardboard that covered the items

The Brick Frigidaire refrigerator

I have recently moved into a new house and the last home owners purchased the refrigerator from Leon's. As per the date of purchase, I have two months of warranty left and the refrigerator is making loud unpleasant sounds about 6-7 times a day especially at night. Upon calling Leon's I was told to contact the manufacturer (Frigidaire) who in turn gave me numbers of trans global and king and state warranty. I am unable to reach these companies. They seem to be redirecting me to one another. I was told to communicate with king and state but every time I call them I have to wait for about an hour only to find out that the call gets disconnected automatically which is very disappointing. It's been three weeks since I have been calling Leon's, Frigidaire, transglobal warranty and king and state warranty, and my efforts are in vain. It's high time some action is taken against these companies.

Unfortunately, warranty coverage is only offered to the original consumer. Once the product changes hands a second time, any manufacturer's warranty is void.
