My experience at the taco Bell on 92ndst between cactus and shea was the worst I have ever had. When I walked in there the lady at the register was rude. She made no contact to say hi how can I help you, she just kinda stood there. I went ahead with my order and advised that I do not want any cheese on the chalupe that i ordered because my friend is allergic to cheese. I told her several times I didn't want cheese on there. I paid for it and she grap the cash from my hands as I was telling her I had change to give to her but she didn't wait and then when I did get the change, she grap that to and she had to count it out what the correct amount was because she hadn't typed it in which took her awhile to do. She didn't give me a # so I would know what # my food was and I never recieved a reciept. So i figured it would come in the bag. When I finally received my order to go, I checked to make sure everything was there and it was but when I got back to work, there was no reciept in the bag, and when my friend opened her chalupe there was cheese in it and because I was on my lunch hour there was no time for me to go back to work so she was not able to eat it, she just threw it away. The other tacos that were ordered were correct with the stuff on them however they did not tast right...there were a little to soggy on the bottom.

Thank you for your time,
Amanda

I don't usually complain because I am in customer service for a prescription benefit service so I know how it feels to be yelled at, but this was just very poor service and I think that needs to be correct. I have in he past done the over the phone survey and I always rate it good but this was just horrible.

In my experience Taco Bell has the worst employees out of all of the fast food chains. I usually try to avoid Taco Bell altogether but sometimes I just crave a meximelt. I have learned a few things about ordering from Taco Bell.

1. Never order more than 2 items. If you have too, order 2 items and drive through again and order 2 more and keep doing this until you get everything you want. I know, it's a hassle, and they may still get it wrong, but if you try to order more than 2 things at 1 time then they are almost certain to get it wrong and you have to go back anyhow.

2. If they ask if you want hot sauce while ordering just say no, even if you do want hot sauce. Chances are you won't get it. Just wait until they hand you your food then ask for the hot sauce.

3. One time after driving through twice and them not being able to get my order right, I drove through a third time and asked for $10 worth of whatever they felt like giving me. The order taker said What? I said just give me $10 worth of anything on your menu as long as its not all the same thing. He said pull forward. I pulled forward and at the window he said you wanted 10 tacos right ? He couldn't even get the order right when I let him pick what to give me. I said sure and can I have hot sauce. He handed me some mild sauce.

I don't expect too much from taco bell employees. After all if you look at the average person and consider how dumb they are and then realize that half of the people are even dumber than that it's not surprising that someone who is working at Taco Bell isn't smart enough to be able to be able to do anything more than the most basic tasks. Anything more than 2 items is no longer a task but a project and Taco Bell employees just aren't project oriented.

I would like to thank Taco Bell though for hiring these mentally challenged individuals though. They have to work somewhere and if they are all working at Taco Bell then at least you know what to expect when you go there.

Taco Bell store number: 025741
Receipt time stamp: 1:16 pm
Date: 8/24/10
Ticket Number: 170
Subtotal: 9.75
Tax: .69
Eat-In Total: 10.44

If all else this lenghty email is to denote what happens when your waiting around for 29 minutes of doing nothing.

When you wait at a table for "Fast food" for 30 minutes there are a number of things the person/customer has no other alternative but notice. After the first 10 minutes of standing around bored, and after checking the voice mails and text messages on your phone for the last time. you cannot help but take in the wonderful environment transpiring before you. You check the number on your ticket order as the person behind the counter yells out a number. To your dismay the number on your ticket reflects about a 26 number difference, you however give it the benefit of the doubt and continue your wait. At this point the ever present curious state of the human nature takes the better of you and begin to look around and observe. My order was placed at exactly 1:16 pm (You have to enjoy the way technology time stamps everything for us now a days.) and you look at your watch after you hear the Cashier argue with a customer who has probably waited as long as you have if not more that" If she wanted a drink with her food that she should have ordered the meal instead of just saying Mexican pizza." I guess I can understand how the cashier and customer felt after all how could the customer not have understood the situation when she was ordering. The Cashier was pretty loud. I am sure it had something to do with the language barrier, I had took notice the cashier elevated her voice and slowed down her speech when the Spanish speaking customers approached her. I mean after all we are in the United states right? we should all speak only English. after all Its only Hialeah, the biggest Cuban community since Havana. After about a good 5 minutes later another number was called. I checked my ticket in case my eyes deceived me, but they didn't... I would still have to wait even longer.

At this point it became a game or more of an amusement thing to see what defaults I could see or find while I embarked on the wait that was my fast food adventure. after all I had nothing else to do as I had already checked my voice mails and sent the appropriate LOL replies to my text messages for the second time.

Upon looking up from my phone I was pleased to see that two customers of the huddled mass that was now standing in front of the counter had left. I also saw and heard more sighs and customers looking at their watches. I was pleased to see that I was not the only one that noticed that I was chronologically standing here for too long. Noticed one customer come in and was able to get the attention of one of the two managers that were so busy working on drive thru. Here I thought was going to be a complaint that would have somewhat eased my amusement and at the same time was preparing for the rest of the huddled mass to follow trend like a herd of cattle and begin their complaints. To my disappointment it was a personal guest that came in to talk to her. I found it funny that she placed someone in drive thru on hold while she spoke to her friend over the counter. I felt kind of bad for them really, I mean after all they had to go around the side because there was no space at the counter what with all the people waiting for their food. Eager eyes watched to see if the manager was going to take notice... nope nothing. well at least the manager left her position to make sure the person at the window got their food. Thank goodness, we wouldn't want them waiting a half hour for their food either. It was kind of hard to see where that manager came from, the work area in the back was poorly lit.

I wondered if employees would work better if the work area had a brighter look to it? Nah what sense does that make, hell its only psychology in the work place we all know that's a load of junk anyways. Oh man the cashier seems to have finished taking her orders in rapid succession so at least we wont have to sit here looking at the mess on this condiment stand any longer. uh oh wait what's this another customer didn't get what he ordered... uh oh he should have asked clearly what he wanted, although I think maybe if she would have repeated the order to the guest maybe he could have clarified... NAH who am I kidding, after all he had about 20 minutes to notice what was wrong on his ticket and didn't. poor sap Oh well at least the cashier came to the rescue and explained to him that he didn't order that at the last minute. sorry Chump you waited all this time and still not what you wanted, well you COULD always take the advice of the cashier and order it now... hell it'll only be another 20 minutes. what's another 20 minutes right? Oh man in all the commotion They just called ticket 169. Know what that means? I'm next. so I walk to the front of the mass look at my phone to note the time is only 1:40p and don't have anywhere to be till 2:00 pm anyways. Thank my stars I was not on a half hour or Hour long lunch as this would have sucked. Not like the rest of these work dressed individuals constantly looking at their watches around me. By walking up to the counter I was able to see the 2 managers in the drive thru, One taking the orders and cash while the other one was making food. At least I know where the attention is given and next time I really should go through drive thru so my car could reek of sour cream after work. Better than standing out here smelling the rest of the sighs the customers keep exhaling after looking at their watches and themselves.

After 5 full minutes I got my meal and was chair bound in the cleanest looking booth/table I could find. The lesser of many evils in this lobby. While eating I noticed the cashier was able to walk away from the register and FINALLY start cleaning. One of the 14 customers after me took this time to voice her opinion in hopes that the mass follows. here's that crazy psychology thing coming up again, It held TRUE! the mass followed trend, wow the psychology thing must work sometimes. The young and seemingly over weight lady claimed wow I have been here for 30 minutes, another chimed in yes this is ridiculous I have a 2 dollar meal and I am still waiting on my 2 items. he was eating a bag of Doritos so I don't know what he could have been complaining about at least he had Half his order. at this point we over heard one of the managers say to the team. Hurry up I am leaving soon. to which one of the customers replied from the counter "Don't leave, stay and help we have been here for a long time". The cashier then walked to this customer and said. "You have been here a long time what's your ticket number?" After taking the receipt in her hand she asked what number were they on. It was Inaudible what they responded from where I was standing, so instead I turned to the responses and the faces people made while waiting.. you know the ones, we see them at the Disney rides when people see the sign that says from this point it is a 45 minute wait. Same ones!

Cashier walked behind the counter, Here I thought wow she is going to communicate to the team the situation or maybe she was going to wash her hands and help expedite. No she was only putting some rags in the back no speech crossed her lips to the team. Then I thought back, wow I have been in the food and hospitality business for about 15 years now. Management 101 is never get stuck in a position, do what it takes to keep business moving, short or not, call for help from other managers or area coaches. clearly they haven't trained with the same mentors I had. or same Tricon books I had when I started my career back in the days. Then again and with the same time I ate my last bite of the Mediocre food I thought to myself. I cant expect anything less...

I wasn't expecting 5 star experience when I walked into the establishment. But it was silly of me to think that fast food was something that was more that just mediocre food at a moderate prices for the people on the go, Knowing first hand the hospitality industry has been going down the toilet here in Miami. If all else it has given me a good look at what I don't want my customers to have to go through.

Somewhere in all this. the theory that I waited 30 minutes, Let me not exaggerate it was only 29 Minutes as stated per my chronologically stamped ticket, as well as 14 people I counted after me. does that mean that 7 and a half hours give or take a few minutes of people's time were wasted? Gives me something to ponder on my next visit to the store next time I want 40 minutes of my life wasted.

What do you expect [censored]! You do not have the right to just grab a drink whenever you feel like it. Your so called manager friend should have got up from his/her [censor] and rang you up. Sounds to me like your lying about your friend being a manager. They didn't stick up for you when the other manager accused you (rightfully) of stealing.

Me and four other people was going through the taco bell drive through on west park in Houma at almost midnight on 8-14-10. We had three separate orders because it was going to be paid with three sepeate debit cards. They told us that they were not able to do that, we'd have to make one at a time and go back in line three different times. They were really rude about it and as we ordered for our first order he wasn't even paying attention and we had to keep asking if he got the order. We paid for the food then had to get back in line. We ordered for our second order and paid for it. The girl driving the car started to drive to go back in line And then noticed they still had the card. We were still kinda close to the window but couldn't back up because the car behind. So one of us was about to get out the car to get the card and the person working drive through threw the card from the window and barley made it in our car window. We then got back in line for the third order paid for it and asked for taco bells main office number. The worker didn't want to give it so we asked for the manager so she could give us it. We left and called the number and they had gave us a disconnected number. Those people over there are really rude and have horrible service!

During my most recent visit to the Taco Bell in Sweetwater TX the cashier couldn't take orders or issue change. He didn't know how to count and didn't know the menu. Then there was no sweetner for the ice tea, no taco sauce (the bins were empty. I tossed the change which consisted of 14 nickles (do you know how much bulk and weight there is in 14 nickles?) into the mint dish on the counter and told them to keep it. The three of us spent $19.30 and with the change we were out $20 at this point. Then I saw a woman behind the counter pointing me out to the manager. Ohhhhh! I'm such a bad dude. Then what did it was the fellow standing back in the kitchen spitting into a taco salad. I got up and left never to return. Filthy people. It really turned my stomach. If I had my cell phone w/camera I'd have taken a picture and posted on UTube. Good grief, stay out of the Sweetwater TX Taco Bell on I-20.

on my last 3 visits to 3 different stores in the KC metro area I have been shorted an item. This seems as though a trend has begun - and not a good one. I understand mistakes happen - I have made a few myself - but REALLY - 3 times in a row? Seems more like fraud.

I am also a employee at taco bell. Yes we make mistakes on orders but just think people make mistakes when they order them also. we do our best to make sure the guest is always happy. 1, 2, or 3 taco' or whatever will not make or brake us. I look at my store as a big family- our 2.1 million dollar store rarely has a complaint that leaves a bad taste in anyones mouth. that being said guest make it very hard- our drive thru stays open til 2am friday and saturday and 1am thru out the week. thats a lot of drunk and and very rude people coming wanting instant food.

The Taco Bell in Hollywood, CA on Vine st. is the all time worst Taco Bell in history. Don't even think about going inside and using the restroom. If you decide to this I suggest you wear a Hazmat Suit (the kind they wear when they contaminate E.T) and be prpared to see things that you have never wanted to see. I'm talkin' human feces spread across the wall. Yea. My life has never been the same since I had that awful, stomach turning experience.
Then I thought I'd give them a second chance since LA tends to be a dirty place when it comes to public restrooms and maybe they just weren't aware of the bathroom mess to go clean it up last time. I decided to try the drive thru. Too bad I made that choice because I spent half my life in the line. Are you kidding me? A 45 minute wait for 8 cars? 18 years later when we finally get of food the drive thru girl treats us like we came up and interrupted her life. Sorry if you you don't like your job but its not my fault. Go work somewhere else then you slow, lazy, ###. By the time we got to start eating our food we realized there wasn't any food. Well, there was a little but I thought someone was playing a joke. Nothing was made right and our potatoes were half way full. I dont want to have to learn spanish just to get a decent meal at a fast food place. I'll NEVER go to Taco Bell again.

An individual has the right to state their opinion whether it is founded or not. I happen to agree that there is something wrong with the Bajablast contest site. Admittingly, I am no internet guru, but it doesn't take a bachelor's degree to enter this contest. Food for thought... You can instruct someone through the proper channel without insulting their intelligence. This attitude clearly shows your insecurities with yourself.

The bozos at Taco Bell having nothing better get bored see what they want to see. This another reason
for boycotting Taco garbage. Join the Boycott.

This person deserved an appology and perhaps damages for a violation of his civil rights.

My guess they had to make the story good so they thru the alcohol and damage to the building in to get the cops to respond. The person that made the call do not know all the facts should be charged with dis0rderly conduct. Next time they will think twice about walking the fine line of half truths.

Good luck Steve. God Bless.

Iam a Taco Bell employee myself and i know you must feel. I hate it there and i plan to quit soon. The managers are more into making money than customer satisfaction. I worked the drive-thru and i take my good amount of time taking the order and making sure i repeat it back to the customer. But the managers keep telling me that if the customers want to see their order they could look at sthe receipt and if i keep repeating the order back to the customers i could get fired because its making the times go up. I advise any of you who unsatisfied with your service call 1-800-Taco-Bell and thet will take care of your problem and not the jerk managers.

about the comment about rep being fired after call being listened to. impossible. calls can only be pulled @ random. dont embelish your story . the truth should be enough. plus im not sure if you heard... but shipping costs money ! crazy isnt it. i wish all these people complaining on here would just cancel and go to sprint. if we got rid of all of these types of customers our rates could be even lower for customers who dont always want to pass the buck.

I ordered a triple steak burrito in the drive through at my nearby Taco Bell and it was cold. So, I brought it home and heated it in a microwave. Now it was suitably warmed, but the taste was extremely vinegary and generally unappetising. This is one of the more expensive items on their menu, but ironically, one of the worst tasting. To Taco Bell's credit, I went on the Internet that same evening and very easily found a toll-free telephone number for their customer service. Even though it was nearly midnight, a competent, polite, articulate, and helpful person answered the line in less than a minute and took my complaint, promised a replacement coupon, and apologised for the poor food. That restores my faith completely. I really like most of their menu items, and based on this experience, feel that their customer service is second to none. I won't get that triple-steak burrito again, though.

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time passed by.

Today I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of silence in remembrance. For Common Sense has served us all so well for so many generations.

Obituary
Common Sense
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.
No one knows for sure how old
he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, why life isn't always fair, and how, on occasion, maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm a Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Personally, I've only had one problem w/ Tmobile. When I was sent a defective phone (defect showed up 6 months after I bought it), they agreed to send me a new one at no cost to me. When I got my bill for the next month, they had included a $9.99 s/h fee. (Surprise-Not the problem.) I called them to ask that it be removed as I had the names and numbers of everyone that had told me that it would be at NO cost me, not even shipping. Spoke to Jason, who actually hung up on me after I told him that I was not going to pay the fee because it was wrongly added to my account. I called back, spoke to a supervisor, who reviewed the tapes and FIRED Jason while I was still on the line. They removed the fee no questions asked and apologized profusely. In the year, I've dealt with them, I've had 20+ times that I called Customer Care (most of these were just to change my plan, which they did with no hassle and no hard sell for a higher rate plan), and this is the only problem I've had. Wonderful company!

I took my daughter to the Taco Bell on Rice St & Larpentuer Ave in Maplewood, MN. The Manager there was very rude to me and my daugter and said as we were leaving he could do without my type of people business.

I ask what he meant by that, he turned and walked away and refuse to talk to me. My Daugher said she applied for a job there and found out from her friend who works there that the manager is racist, does not like black people and will only hire white or mexican, so don't expect a phone call because he will not call any blacks back for a interview. This employee said several of his black friends have applied there and have not got a phone. If this is taco bell policy for hiring . I will not only not go to a Taco Bell again I also will encourage all blacks in my community, friends, church memebers and acquaints not to purchase any border food products. As I am sure Border Foods know of this practice. In this day in age that is no way to conduct business. I make sure all blacks and others know about border foods manager on Rice Street & Larpentuer in Maplewood MN.

The last (3) times ive been to taco bell drive thru in eureka, ca they have royally screwed up my order, not just slightly, its like im getting someone elses order! Whats going on, Im not one to really complain but this is getting old real quick! Taco bell has always been my favorite fast food but lately I dont know...I have called and complained but a week later when I make it back to order food for my family again they have no record of my complaint. Tacobell is clear on the other side of town and I dont have the gas money to just be jumping in my car to drive back every time I find out my order is screwed up. I would check my order as soon as I am handed my bag but there are always so many angry customers behind us in line honking due to the slow service that they are recieving themselves!

Thank You for your time
