Hello,
My name is Anthony Manriquez, and I am writing to dispute the final bill on my account #201766157. On January 3rd, we switched to a new provider due to the high cost of our ongoing cell phone bill. My new provider charges us $100 less per month. As a fixed-income individual, and my wife’s employment at the Department of Homeland Security (not ICE) is affected by the government shutdown, our finances are currently strained.
I am certain that we have always paid our bills on time. When I called to pay off the phone balances, I was informed that we had a remaining balance of $399.32 for the entire month of February. I was shocked because I had paid the last bill and was waiting for funds to be deposited to pay off the phones. I had switched providers in January and paid that bill.
It is unfair to be charged for the full three phones for February when they were transferred. I would appreciate it if you could resolve this issue so I can ensure all my obligations to you are fulfilled. I want to pay off the balance owed on each of the three cell phones so that we can close this account.
Thank you,
Anthony Manriquez

Claimed loss: Total $399.22
Desired outcome: Wave the last bill that is not mine so that I can pay off the three cell phone units and close the account
