I had the Amazon, Lowes, TJmax, Paypal, Ebay mastercard, GAP, and Cathy Pacific total around 80K in credit. Out of the blue, all cards was canceled on 9/17. I found out by embarrass myself in the store when it was declined. All payments were made on time and never late. I don't even carry any balance (who wants to pay the high interest they charge). After 20 mins on the phone with a services rep who barely speak English and she told me I am a "High Risk customer". A High Risk ? I paid all my bills on time and been a customers for years and years. Synchrony don't just give anybody 80, 000 in credit because they are high risk.

I think it is not a good way to treat a customer by cancel the line with out any notice. Maybe it is legal or maybe is not for the bank to do that but it is very bad for business or to retain the customers. Nevertheless, I hope an ambulance chasing attorney would start a class action against Synchrony.

Maybe Synchrony forgets there are many other banks issue credit card too.

Typical actions of a THIRD RATE BANK. Same thing happened to me.

I had a Mastercard that they sent me in September then turn around and close the same account in November and I had my account on auto pay. Just don't get how they can give you credit then just take it away with out any reason after you had went by there terms to make your account right like they ask. How is this legal ,Not to mention it really messes with your credit score. someone needs to file lawsuit and close them down permanently ,this type of company should not even be in business...

The best way any of us can fight back against the powerhouse of Synchrony is to fight the companies that allow them to exist. Any company that is affiliated with Synchrony bank I will no longer give my money to untill they drop Synchrony. There are plenty of other companies that do not partner themselves with them. I beg anyone who has been affected by Synchrony to do the same.

Same here. Ten years of membership at Sam's Club with both Synchrony's MasterCard and Sam's Credit Card. I'm getting ready to sue Synchrony. Right now, I have sent a complaint of interest to my Arizona Department of Public Safety with cover copies to the Federal Trade Commission (that handles this type of action), Sam's Corporate Headquarters and Walmart Corporate Headquarters in Bentonville, AR. While a lawsuit may not be what all of you want to get involved in; I still would suggest, at the very least, writing the companies that put their name on Synchrony's cards. In my case, Walmart is silent now, but they won't be soon--although I did express to them that this was between Synchrony and myself, but made them aware that, in the age of social media, Sam's had its name on the card and it is Sam's that the public will blame. If it is okay with everyone here, I'm going to cut and paste your testimonies as character testimony to how Synchrony operates its business.

YES! I’d be honored to be a co-complaintant if we could get this to class action status! Go read complaint from Star City Tactical I am in Waxahachie Texas. To add fuel to my fire, Synchrony ALSO took / voided all the rewards I had earned. I have $550 worth in gift cards due me on CareCredit. Yeah, they list in terms if account closed you forfeit rewards - well if consumer closes they have a script advising this and tells consumer to go redeem then close! But if Synchrony closes for no reason, no warning, adios! This “bank” needs to go! I won’t go down without a fight.

I just had the same thing happen with Synchrony they closed my Lowes without notice...never late paid off ahead of time and they do nothing to help when you call. You can add me to your fight,,10 years and great credit but they closed my account.

Just out of sheer curiosity, how do you plan to present a lawsuit against a lender whom, like all revolving credit lenders, you agreed when applying (whether or not you read it, but I'm assuming you didn't) that either you - or they - can close your account at any time, for any reason - or no reason at all?

They are not legally obligated in any way, shape, fashion, or form to lend you money or do business with you and can choose to stop, even if they just randomly threw a dart at a phone book and it landed on your name that day, just for giggles.

You are correct, Synchrony owes them nothing. Come on dude, your going to sue a creditor that gave you credit and wants to close your account. 🤦🏾‍♂️... Sounds like a Fox News episode of ignorance. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I went to pay off my Lowe’s balance with a new home equity line. I paid off numerous other cards. This one kept rejecting my payment. I finally used a debit card to zero it out after two weeks of bs. I just found out they now closed my account. Whatever. I was going to close it first! Never again. Garbage company. Lowe’s likely won’t get my business after the fiasco either.

I dropped my third rate synchrony account at Sams when Capital One took over their Walmart Card. I can use it both places with a much more reputable Bank.

Synchrony Bank just cancelled all my credit cards. Found out today when I went to make a purchase and my card was declined. I was told I was a "high risk". Really! Never a late payment and I paid off all my cards with them. Never will I apply for a synchrony card again.

Without advance notice, Synchrony Bank closed all of my cards.

I have a 770 credit score. Zero late payments for many years. I pay off every balance monthly.

With my Venmo credit card through them, I earned a total of $783 in cash rewards by the time the canceled me.

The letters which arrived in the mail for each of their cards told me that my purchase history suggested I was a risk for non-payment. Which makes no sense. I used their Venmo card for the same three places of business to specifically capitalize on their cash rewards program.

I think they didn't like that I carried no interest-earning balances and that I was maxing out my monthly cash rewards consistently.

I will never apply for a Synchrony card again for as long as I live.

Same, chalk up one more to the High Risk closure of all my Synchrony accounts. Loss of $1.4k in Amazon rewards goes with that too. My guess is that they'd find any excuse to close an account that they weren't earning fees on.

THIS is what I think. I used my account in a way that avoided me paying interest… paid them off after purchases and didn’t pay any interest. Had my Lowe’s card for 17 years. I’d use it and get the 5% off and then pay it off. Or do the no interest for 12 months deals. Not one late payment. In SEVENTEEN years. HSN for five years and same. 800 credit score. They closed me out on both accounts and stated “High Risk of Failure to pay.” Complete garbage. They couldn't tell me any real reason. Just basically it’s their decision so tough luck. This company is absolutely horrible.

Synchrony has issued return merchandise credits and reversed them later hoping customers won't notice. They are very unscrupulous and have many class action lawsuits.

Synchrony is canceling all cards to force reapplication forcing agreement to e-statement, electronic communications, and sit on the banks servers. They can be altered at any time. This eliminates the class action paper trail.

It's all to cover corruption.

I'm glad (but frustrated) that I am not the only one dealing with them. I had a Discount Tire, Mattress Firm, and Sam's Club Card (not the Mastercard). Discount Tire was paid off and I used it for emergencies, but since it was paid, they closed it without notice and I didn't find out until days AFTER it was closed. Then they lowered the limit on my Sam's card to just a little over the last payment made so not it always appears that I have a high utilization...which affects my credit score and EVERYTIME I make a payment, they lower the limit again and are doing the Same with the Mattress Firm/Home card...

I'm thinking of just getting a loan to pay them completely off and close them and warn others NOT to use them...Capital One, Credit One and others are a lot easier to work with!

Just got me for four accounts. Saying I’m a high risk. All accounts have been used and paid off. Nothing has changed on my credit reports all cards paid in full and only have a house and car payment and one personal loan. Heck my score has went up from the time of opening the accounts. I guess they are panicking with the bank’s closing. But this is crazy. I found out from credit alerts. Haven’t received any notification from them. I’ll never open a new account with them.

Synchrony is doing this to me too. They started it about 2 years ago. I had numerous cards issued by them, some with zero dollar balances and some closer to 70%-80% utilization. I decided to diligently work on increasing my credit score so I could get a mortgage finally, and have credit accounts with lower interest rates, etc... so I began paying off my high balance cards in large chunks and it was working for a short while. I watched my score go from just over 600 to 700 and was really motivated by these results. Also, it felt great being free from the daunting feeling of coming too close to your credit limit(s).

Then the first strike came when they cut the credit limits on all of the cards I had just paid down (some paid off entirely) by over half. About 6 months later, strike #2: they halved all credit limits on cards with zero $ balance and closed a few. I couldn't understand why this was happening because I always thought that credit limits were earned and that if you play by the rules and do everything right you'll get to keep them and even increase them! This was the feeling that I was being punished for doing the right thing. I obviously had to figure out what was in it for them. Why else would they be sniffing around my accounts if they didn't stand to gain something?

Anyway, I talked to Customer "Service" reps and their supervisors numerous times and instead of just admitting that the pandemic had them worried or that they were protecting themselves and trying to make up for the fact that they had overextended and mismanaged their own finances, they chose to blame me. I'm "high risk". Zero late payments and zero $ balances beg to differ. But no, this had nothing to do with them according to Synchrony. It was all Trans Union submitting reports to them making me out to be a potential threat. Yeah, right. I have no patience with liars, especially the cowardly ones and the ones who make massive amounts of money from the lies they so easily pass off as the truth.

Regardless of facts or truth, it is legal for them to do this and we are completely powerless to stop or prevent it. I was told to use my cards with zero balances for small purchases occasionally and then pay them off so they don't see them as being inactive. I did that and and no longer have any cards with zero balances because strikes 3 and 4 closed them all. So that doesn't work!

The only accounts they've left alone are the few I have that actually earn them interest. Yep, I'm apparently not high enough risk to be forced to stop giving them money every month.

After two years of focusing on doing everything possible to increase my credit score it is currently 604 and I owe it ALL to Synchrony Bank's decision to balance chase me and keep me above 80% utilization. They have ruined my chances of ever getting a mortgage and have killed off the faith I used to have in being recognized and rewarded for doing the right thing and playing by the rules. Selfish, greedy cowards.

Why do people keep talking about Synchrony bank and the Amazon credit card?... do you people not realize that the Amazon card is issued by Chase Bank, not by Synchrony? It's true, I have an Amazon card and just logged into my account like 5 minutes ago just to see if anything has changed, and it is absolutely a Chase credit card, not Synchrony.

YOU ARE WRONG SIR! Synchrony bank issues the Amazon Store Card. Chase bank issues the Amazon Visa Card. The Amazon store card is issued to almost any one. The Amazon Chase Visa Card with rewards requires Excellent Credit. I have had both a the same time. Chase has a lot more integrity than Synchrony ever will.

Amazon have two cards one issued by Chase and one issued by synchrony Bank... My wife’s Amazon card was through Synchrony (I think it's determined by credit or type) hers was just the store card and wasn't the visa/Mc one... She had one payment bounced (not her fault, our bank account was hacked) she proved that our account was hacked to synchrony and they still acted like it was her fault... They closed her account and yet was still charging her a bunch of interest on a closed account with payments still being made on time (higher then minimum payments)

Stay Away From ALL Forms Of Credit With Synchrony Bank... you will regret not listening to me, I promise you!

I too have the EXACT same problem with synchrony Bank... multiple cards issued by them. The difference however, is that my card balances are actually going down, not up. I have been in cr4dit card debt for a couple of years, and about a year ago decided to stop buying things and just paying down my balances. As a result, my other credit cards such as Best Buy, Amazon, Discover, Capital One, and Home Depot cards have ALL given me CL increases over the last 6 months, thus causing my CS to actually go up nearly 33 points, and my available credit to go up my over $3,500 in total. (un-utilized).

However, when it came time for my yearly review by Synchrony bank, they closed my Walmart card entirely, closed my Dicks Sporting Goods card entirely, they lowered my Venus card entirely, Lowered the CL on my Summit Racing Card by a whopping $1,700, they lowered the CL on my Newegg card by $1,200, they lowered my Synchrony Care Care CL by $400, they lowered my Synchrony Health Care CL by $700... so all in all, they have either closed or lowered my CL on 100% of EVERY card that I have with them, resulting in closed accounts valued at nearly $5,000 alone, and another loss of credit in the amount of $4,000. As a result, my credit scare has dropped more than 40 freaking points because of Synchrony Bank, and I am sure that because of that, I will likely be at risk of my good standing creditors penalizing me now too if I don't get my CS back up before the next semi-anal check.

Mind you, I have an absolutely PERFECT credit history with a 100% ALWAYS ON TIME payment record, and I have ALWAYS paid more than the minimum balance - even when I wasn't focusing on lowering my credit card debt. I have NEVER missed ANY payment, EVER, not even a car loan payment, a utility payment, a house payment, or even a landscaping payment. When I tell you that I have an absolutely PERFECT credit payment history, I am not exaggerating... not even a little. And I OBVIOUSLY have an extremely strong credit diversity as well, which is supposed to be a very good thing and accounts for something like 10-15% of your overall credit score.

So while every other creditor that I have has increased my available credit lines, and even sent me both pre-approved AND pre-authorized loan offers, (which essentially guarantees loan approval), Synchrony bank is literally the ONLY creditor that I have which is punishing me by stripping my available credit from me and taking cards away from me!

I have made a vow that I will EVER apply for another Synchrony owed credit card again for as long as I live, and I will go further so as to teach my children to also stay away from doing business with Synchrony. I do not care if that means that I have to stop purchasing at all of my favorite stores entirely. I don't even care if that means that I can't finance a kidney transplant, I will NEVER engage in business with Synchrony Bank EVER again! I have even considered becoming expert level of petty, and taking out a Billboard on Interstate I-65 and warning other to stay away from Synchrony.

TRUST me when I say, STAY AWAY FROM SYNCHRONY BANK CREDIT CARDS & LOANS! As SOON AS you pay down your balance, they are GUARANTEED to lower your available credit down to just below they available credit left after you submit your payment. You are NOT doing yourself ANY favors by paying off your balances with Synchrony, they absolutely WILL punish you.

You have been warned.

Got a notice today that Lumber Liquidators (Also Synchrony) has canceled my credit card. My credit score is over 820, never been late etc. But, like some others have mentioned, I've carried a zero balance for quite some time (just don't need new flooring on a regular basis!) and I paid off my original balance with no interest ever being charged. So, I'm making no money for them... I also have a Lowe's card and pay that off every month, when I do use it. And, a Sears Mastercard with a zero balance that I haven't used in over a year. I'm going to try adding a small recurring payment to that one to see if that will keep me in their good graces! It's an old one, and I'd hate to lose my history on that one. I understand that these banks are in it to make money, but I don't quite understand why my excellent payment history and credit worthiness actually hurts them in any way... :(

Ya I can careless about there high rate credit cards ,its the fact that they ruin your credit score doing what they are doing ,Thats not right at all .I can understand closing the accounts you are defaulted on ,but they should not be able to close accounts you never even used or were on time with and paid them off. Maybe put them on freeze but not ruin your credit by closing accounts you have always taken care of Every one can add me to there lawsuits as well. Its Just BS and no one should have that kind of power to ruin your credit just because some computer can not analyze properly and say your high risk when you have done nothing wrong ,Guess we have need to get the government involved in this stupid [censored] as well. Seems that's the only way people are safe. The morals went out the widow years ago so now you need the goverment and High paid attorneys to handle this type of crap only for you to get nothing and them get fat checks ..This is a joke with these lenders ..They push and push [censored] on people to get credit and wonder why people end up in dept and not being able to pay any one back, kind of like our goverment who does not show any type of standard ,Just shows every one its ok to spend and not pay it back ,well unless you borrow it from somebody to pay it back ,like charging its own people more money in taxes and everything else so they can pay there dept we had no say in...Just Unreal how everything has change and we have no standards anymore in the USA...

I first got approved for a $1000 symphony bank rooms to go card.I paid $100 each month on time with a plan to pay it off within a year interest free. After i made my first four payment on time they dropped my limit down to $600. After i piad it off, a year of not using the card because of not needing to purchase anything they close my account stating the my the balances on my other cards have gone up and they feel im at high risk. Now mind you all my cards have been paid on time for the last two years i have not missed a payment. They dont know why my balances have gone up, but who are they to say im a high risk and close my account, i do owe you. Needless to say after working so hard on my credit score, this involuntary closure did not help it brought my credit score down and this wasnt even my vault. Man i feel this credit score stuff is a game.

I had 11 accounts closed today. I have over a 720 credit score and was told I am high risk. I have a zero balances on all my cards. I use my care credit and pay it off. I even bank with them. I will never do business with them again. Luckily I have a 1 percent utilization rate so it won’t hurt much on my credit report. I would never do business with them again. To boot, their customer reps are useless. I think they don’t make money on me and don’t want to keep the accounts open. Who knows but I’d say with their rates who would want to have a card with them!

Care credit suddenly canceled my account today. I've been a prefect customer for years with no late payments and no balances. Perfect timing as I just made my appointment for extensive dental work earlier this morning and was planning on taking advantage of the interest free financing. I get the are overextended in the credit market, but maybe give the good customers an option before just announcing they are shutting off my card and affecting my credit score.

I've always been on time with payments and been a customer since it was originally "Bill me Later" so I figured that if they don't want me then I don't want them, EVER! I applied for a zero percent balance transfer CC and paid off PAY PAL. SEE YA SYNCHRONY! I hope all customers that you canceled follows suit and makes your stock shares crash!

Personally I think Synchrony has taken on way more than it can handle at the last minuet!

My last word about them, I HOPE SYNCHRONY GOES BANKRUPT and takes all its affiliates like LOWES with them!

I think I know what's going on, they are closing the accounts of the "good paying customers" because we don't generate late fees and interest charges. They canceled my card yesterday without any notice or call and I've paid early every month since I opened the card in 2016 and i was only carrying a $100 balance our of $3,500. We will hear about them going under soon.

Synchrony closed my account. Sent me a letter and stated I had to many delinquent payments? I called because I thought there had to be a mistake as I'm current and only owe 280? They said I had a payment bounce. I asked when and they said in July of 2021 I had a declined payment. I had a unauthorized charge on my debit card so changed my account or card. Forgot to change it and paid before it was even due or late. Beware of doing any business with Synchrony Bank. My credit score is above 750 and to be quite honest... I don't need their gay [censored] credit card. Only got it for revolving credit. Since it's a "closed" account it will lower my score but it's whatever. It will go back up again. Lesson learned. I paid the 280 when I called to be done with them as I don't trust banks to begin with and especially those named Synchrony Bank. Was looking for a class action law suite as I recalled reading about a year ago how Synchrony bank had closed a bunch of customer's accounts for no reason, and it effects their credit score. I'll be looking atthe user agreement and if I have legal recourse, I'll sue them. Yes I have that money to burn just cause. Games they play.

This is such an example of corporate overreach by Synchrony, and it has to stop! The very same thing happened to me, they closed all of my many high limit accounts with them. To which a few had just been recently approved and opened by them. Unfortunately, I had other high credit limit cards with Amex, and Chase, it did not affect my credit score really bad. Congress needs to investigate Synchrony and write bills that make borrowing and lending fair for all parties! I will urge and caution all I know to avoid Synchrony Bank at all costs!

Same happened to me on Dec 31 2021, I believe Synchrony Bank was over exposed on all the credit cards they were issuing.

They just closed my 10 accounts today without warning- no late payments, derogatory remarks, public records, liens/judgments, bankruptcy - credit score 745. Accounts were paid in full or occasional used the promo and paid off without interest charges, 50k credit gone ! They stated I was a "high risk" because I recently asked for CLI and was approved for multiple CLIs. I had never done this before. If I was such a "high risk" then why did they grant the CLIs in the first place. In fact, today I got an email from Amazon/synchrony bank stating congratulations on your CLI and encouraging me to use the card now that I have a higher CLI. What a total joke this company is ! I called three of the cards, the fourth rep stated he would send in an appeal for all of the cards so I wouldn't have to keep calling the remaining cards - although he said the chances were slim it would resolve in my favor once the accounts were closed. I have never asked for CLIs from them before so this is why I thought I was due but WOW that was very naïve of me ultimately. BAM goodbye 50k credit lines even though I was approved for those CLIs and then AFTER you approve me I am now a "risk"? This is unethical and disgraceful. Just say no to granting the CLI request and not this "gotcha" (to put it mildly) unethical tactics. Now my other creditors will see 10 closed accounts all at once. I don't even want to begin to think what the other creditors will do.

They just did the same to me today. All in good standing, never late, always paid much more than the minimum and very low balances. Shocked is what I am.

Exact same thing just happened to me and to say I was livid is an understatement! I am still left shaking my head, I thought they appreciated me as a customer and now I see I'm sadly mistaken. When calling they can't give a true explanation. Never late, ever. Kept low balances, paid in advance and typically zero balance. Like you said, why grant CLI if I wasn't worthy. Please think twice using them for any credit cards, I sure regret it

Synchrony closed my Amazon store account I have had for years with 1000 cl had under $100 balance. Never late always paid on time.. No missed payments on any of my accounts. Fico scores are 698, 702, and 712. I noticed when I went to make a payment and have no idea why. Oh well I was considering closing this account anyway. All of my other cards have much higher limits.

I have three cards from this poor excuse for a bank, they close one without me knowing it and lowered the credit limit on the other; stating that I am high risk and is based on credit bureau reports. I always pay on time and carry low balances, this is unethical practice. This bank fail to realize the people are the economy.

This also happened to me. They closed all my accounts at one time, no notice. It made my credit score drop by over 20 points. When I finally got someone on the phone the only excuse that they gave me is that they seemed to think that I MIGHT be a risk in the FUTURE! How in the hell do they figure that? I have had a job the entire COVID and never late. Most of my cards didn't even have a balance. Extremely poor way to treat loyal hard working customers!

It seems these people are going through a purge of its card holders . They canceled all of my cards, yes, some were unused and had no balance, but some did and I used on a regular basis, paid on time every month, no over limit, no collections, nothing, and now they are closed, and they say I am a high risk ? I have seen that in many of these posts. A high risk from what ? If bills are paid on time, the credit report reports it as such, so whats the High risk thing ? It has taken me 10+ years to build up my score and credit after a bad ending to a marriage, I cant wait to see how bad my score takes a hit over this ... The fun part is, I talked to people on the phone, and they were as baffled as I was over the High risk thing when they see my accounts were paid with a little extra and on time . I don't get it, I just wonder how many people in total they have done this too .

You are all looking at this wrong . This isn’t you getting singled out . Synchrony closed my PayPal credit card and line of credit because I bought a mypillow. I was angry at first but now I see what’s going on. This is the central banks going broke . There’s going to be a great reset any days now. Plus they don’t want middle class being able to buy anything . It’s long and complicated but we have been at war now since C19 was released. And it’s far from over so just hang on.

Two days ago my three cards with Synchrony were closed without notice. I never missed a payment and paid them off every month (Although there were a few months that I couldn't pay off the entire balance). I had these credit cards for a number of years and collected a lot of rewards for using them. Last month, I collected about $800 in rewards for my TJ Maxx card and suddenly all my credit card accounts were closed without warning. I'm pretty sure they closed them because of my rewards, but I have no proof of this. Now I assume my once-good-credit is now wrecked and I can't get a loan for a house anytime soon.

Synchrony Bank has reduced my credit line with them, from $3, 500 to $2, 850, 2 months into the Covid Pandemic, while knowing my credit had a charge just over $3, 000. I had to scramble and get help to get money to make a payment. I complained to them through their online messaging system, and they said 'Sorry for the inconvenience'. My credit hadn't gotten worse and I had never missed or made a late payment.
2 months ago I managed to pay off the rest of my debt to Synchrony, in FULL. They charged me a week later a bunch of fees and tried to claim that the fees were listed on my 'Monthly Statement' and that payments needed to be made a week prior to no incur any fees. So again, I complained on their Online messaging system, and was pedantically told how billing cycles work and how to read a bank statement. Which I've been doing since I was 9, because some of us have worked most of our lives and have family that try to teach about banking and how money works, go figure. So I complained that Synchrony is the only bank I've ever dealt with that does this, and that this practice is predatory and illegal. So what does Synchrony do? They message me back EVERY SINGLE TIME I message them about this complaint and tell me to "REQUEST" that they stop messaging me, even though I had done so, and then repeatedly demanded that they stop messaging me, because at that point it had turned into harassment and there is NO OPTION to request that they not reply, ONLY then did it stop.
If you thought it was over, you're sorely mistaken. I just received a letter in the mail telling me that they've since reduced my credit line to, get this - $250... -_- ... Seriously? Their reasoning is that my "Credit has lowered" since then. Well, gosh darn it, they're right *NOT* my credit is actually on the rise and I've clearly demonstrated an ability to pay off my debt to them.

Go figure.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SYNCHRONY. They WILL take you for a ride and blame YOU for it.

Synchrony are crooks i thought Chase bank was worst in less that 24 hours i found out Synchrony way worst than Chase bank way synchrony treats their customers who never missed payment including myself and they treat us like dirt and i thought that Citi banks cards are hard get approved be better off dealing with Citi instead of Synchrony at least Citi looks at account standings and consider limit increase with Citi i can go to nearest branch pay my Exxon card and Home depot pay inside store hopefully amazon card will go to Citi

Been a customer for years with several cards. Some had balances some didn't. In the middle of purchasing my new home with my spouse, synchrony closed several cards with 0 balance without notice totally 10k in unused credit which was keeping my score higher than my spouses. When the final under writting pull came my score had dropped by 80 points..I had to be removed from my OWN home loan in order to be approved. Now synchrony has closed my accounts with balances because I'm a high risk... They are lowering my credit limits in 100 dollar increments with every payment on my current 2 Furniture cards and haven't touched my paypal or amazon YET my only thought is because they are maxed out and are getting tons of interest from me. The two furniture cards are no interest for 18 months. Once my balance reaches 0 they will close them. I feel like I'm being black mailed and its highly stressful. I may file bankruptcy out of spite my credit is tanked anyway.

Like everyone else I just had my JC Penny's and Amazon cards cancelled within the last 2 days. Both were in good standing. On my credit report both accounts showed that my payments have been paid 100% on time. The JC Penny's card was paid on 4/17/21 and the Amazon card paid 04/09/21 not pass due made purchased on decided to pay the money towards my Amazon card. I'm not taking this sitting down I'm writing the CEO of Synchony bank and forwarding a letter to Wash, D.C..I have had my JC P enny's card since 2020 and Amazon 2/21. Because this has affected my credit score and credit worthiness. Yes there should be a Class action suit.

I had a zero balance on my PC Richards account since Nov 2020. Last time I used my card they even gave me a credit line increase. I paid my entire bill within a month. Never late.

In March, I get a letter they are closing my account. I called an complained and they can't/won't do nothing. Guess they don't want my business. I'll buy my appliances elsewhere.

i owed PayPal like 3600 in Feb two payments where sent to my bank one for 3600 something to my checking account and another for 3800 something to my savings i did not do this. Since it came back because i didn't have that much in my accounts they reported it as returned payment and synchrony bank closed 4 accounts because of this i have had these accounts for years never a late or missed payment what is going on i guess its the great reset. and they also charged me 29 return check fee. luckily chase cleared it up and didn't charge me but hours and weeks on the phone to PayPal and synchrony they have done nothing. They don't seem to care one bit. I might just screw them and not pay them anything at least i wish i could but i do owe the money but i will never do business with them again.

A class action lawsuit needs to be filed against the criminals at Synchrony Bank. Like everyone else, I paid both of my cards from them - ON TIME and NEVER LATE, one of the csrds waa PAID IN FULL and had a $5, 000 limit. These SOBs closed my accounts, with no warning. In doing so, they DESTROYED my credit scores. I will NEVER AGAIN do business with these crooks again. A class action lawsuit for the literal harm they do to their good customers needs to be filed immediately!

Synchrony bank closed my Ashley Furniture account in August 2021 advised due to inactivity. I just received a letter that they are closing my carecredit account and they stated due to a review of my credit report. SYNCHRONY BANK IS A JOKE. GOOD RIDDANCE! HOPE THEY GO UNDER TO NEVER RECOVER!
