THis past few days i have gotten several credit alerts from all credit bureaus about this crazy credit card company closing down my lowes card for no reason saying that i don't have real estate well 1st of all that is the reason that i had one for my house and this is the 2nd time this has happend with my lowes account and i am so sick of having to reapply and then they say your askiing for credit what the hell do they expect i didn't have 1 dollar on it and they come up with some stupid crap and my credit score was 694 and after they did that it dropped 56-points i cannot believe that lowes puts up with them at all they have lost walmart because of there crazy things they did to there credit card customers im telling you lowes is loosing alot of business because of this and i have no desire to go in there store i liked the store but dont like there credit card company it should be a law to stop this from happening to working people they are not for you at all but they sure want to charge you all there damn fees i can't believe they are still in business i saw 8800 complaints unreal

Desired outcome: well i think that my card should be reinstated since i did nothing wrong and i do have a house it is not fair im writing lowes about this also they need to be aware of how there customers are being treated

Lowe’s cancelled my card without any explanation from them , I rarely use it but did purchase a fence for my property with it about 8 months ago I always paid on time never late , this is crazy I will not be shopping at Lowe’s in the future I will take all my business to Home Depot or Menards, congratulations Lowe’s and sycrony you just lost another customer.

I would like to add my experience to this as well…. Unbelievable they treat their customers like this.

I was just notified by Synchrony Bank that they are closing my Lowe’s account due to the “ risk of my ability to pay.” I have had this account since 2007 & never missed any payments ever. I also have a credit score of 833.

I contacted Synchrony via email about this & they told me that they stand by their decision based on the “ algorithms “ they use for this process. I find this whole situation unbelievable & I would NEVER recommend doing business with this bank for anything. I will be writing about my experience to the CEO of Lowe’s as they just lost a 16 year customer as a result of this debacle.

Synchrony hopefully learns that customer satisfaction really doesn’t come from closing people’s accounts for zero reason after 16 years. I am also writing to their CEO about this experience as well.

Desired outcome: I want to understand why this happened & an honest answer. Hiding behind our algorithm figured this out is an absolute joke for a business that exists only to service their customers

I just want to add to this. They closed my Ashley Furniture card before my furniture had gotten delivered. I was angry but just decided to pay it off and forget about it. I went to use my Amazon card and it was declined. At this point I decided to investigate all my accounts. I found out Amazon was closed, never late and balance was less than 10% of limit. My Care Credit Card has the available limit decreased every time I made a payment. So every month my credit usage on my card reflects about 95% credit usage. Good news is my Verizon Visa is good to go! Oh did I mention they lowered my credit limit from $3000 to $370.

They are killing my credit and telling me I’m high risk. There should be something us as consumers are able to do instead of watching our credit scores drop because of their ridiculous practices
