Stop & Shop review: Sale signs from previous week

I visited the Stop and shop store #835 in Tenafly, NJ on September 2, 20223.

Twice I have bought items which I thought were on sale. Only to realize the sale sign was from the previous week. When I brought this matter to the attendant, she refused to honor the sale, saying this sign is from last week. I know the employees are in a rush and maybe missed taking down a few signs. But the customer should not be wasting their time returning the items and then giving them a hard time adjusting the price. I left disappointed because they refused to honor the sale tag. Gives me more a reason to shop else where.
