Stop & Shop - Lack of food samples

I would like formally log a complaint about your company's current policy of denying customers the ability to try deli samples in the store. This is a long-standing practice and is necessary to determine the quality of the product to be bought. We are now 10 months into COVID response and it is no longer appropriate to blame the virus for the lack of service, especially when we have states with limited to no COVID restrictions at all (Florida, Texas, South Dakota) where Shop & Stop operates and things are business as usual. It is time to get back to normal and start offering the same services to customers as you did pre-COVID. Also, in your response, please clarify if it is a corporate standard or store discretion.

Desired outcome: Clarification of the formal company policy and an expected date for food sample restrictions to be lifted.

Stop & Shop - Your staff

The folks that work in your 702 Hicksville Road Massapequa Stop and Shop are probably the rudest group of folks on the planet. When you place help wanted ads for this store does it state that it's mandatory for them to be rude, brain dead and inconsiderate? I stopped shopping there years ago but in a pinch and when I am really lazy to drive to a good grocery store, I run in and get a few items that I need. Once I walk in, I am quickly reminded on why I do not shop with you.

I was not raised by a pack of wolves, I always say hello, I use please and thank yous all of the time. At this store, you must have strict policy that does not allow your staff to say such words. Your employees not only never say hello or how are you today; they never even say hello back when I initiate the greeting. They also never say, have a nice day or thanks for shopping with us. If I didn't know any better I would think that your store was doing me a favor by allowing to shop there and I should be so happy that your rude employees accept my money for the good I purchased.

I know in NY people are supposed be rude and awful human beings but boy you guys take the cake. I would rather spend the day at the DMV to visit any of your locations again. Thank GOD for Amazon, it's been a pleasure grocery shopping with them.
