harassing calls from sbi collections agencies

I hold a credit card from SBI for past 1 year and every month i had a problem from this collections agencies they used to call me for payment at least 5-10 time in a day for payment and i want to know that, will any lawyer call for collection on 22-09-2007. I got a call from lawyer RAMKUMAR from PARIES Collection department CHENNAI and he did not spoke to me he directly called to my home and he spoked to my mother in a bad language.

    i was a customer of SBI Credit Card upto 31.12.06 and thereafter i had already requested for discontinue such facility by speed post. Even thereafter thier authorised agency M/s SBI Credit Payments & Services Pvt.Ltd., Gurgaon, pressing hard for illegal payment towards osd of credit card, whereas myself have already paid all dues time to time but they have un-ncessarily charging time to time. Against this so many letters sent to them but they have not responded till date but statement of osd sending frequently which is totally unlawful.
    I am not be able to pay thier unlawful payment but SBICPL sending threatening lettes through advocate which credits full of tension alongwith my family.
    Sir, through this i wish to get help for resolve this issue at the earliest.

invalid transaction has been made against my card

Hi,

I had received a Credit Card from SBI on the 7th July, 2007. For last 3 months, I have not received any Credit Statement.

And then all of a sudden, I receive a call from Collections Department, from Chennai, that a Transaction had been made for Jun, 2007 worth Rs. 3900/= has been made.

First of all, I had not received the card by that date, so the transaction is entirely invalid, and secondly I have not received any Statement for any of the months. Then, I went on to call up the Customer Care Dept and they made an excuse saying, that the Statement could not reach me because of incorrect Pin Code. Now the bigger question is, if they have sent the card on the correct Pin Code, how are they not able to deliver the Statements at the same address.

Seems to be unbelievable. I am really tired of following this. The only way out for me is to get the card cancelled.

If somebody can help seeing this complaint and can follow this up, please do so...

always giving bad response

I want to complain of Branch of state bank of india in HASTINAPUR (Meerut) (U.P.). Whenever we enter in the bank for any transaction the employees never give a good response to the customers and their behaviour is not good with the customers and always non-availability of cash, there is no fast service and they do every work very late, always create problems for the customers in every dealing in comparison to other banks at the same place like punjab national bank.

    I want to lodge a complain against Branch Manager- Mr Prabir Majumdar-SBI-Branch Sakherbazar-( address: 35 Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700008, West Bengal).

    WE have a joint acount their in that branch and have certain TDR & STDRs.

    WE want to tae a loan against our Deposits and the branch manager simply told us to come next week & next week...... and thus after repeatedly coming after 3 consiquitive weeks, Mr Prabir Majumdar- The Branch Manager CLEARLY REFUSES TO GIVE US THE LOAN. Not only that he didnot even saw our deposits, or even hear whatz is the amount we want to take. He only told us that " I remain so busy these days that I cannot spare time for sancationing loans".

    STATE BANK being the main bank of ours and after having such TRUST on this institution, if we dont even get a proper response from the Branch head, we are vbound to lose interest and Faith from SBIs.

    WE wanted our loan against sufficiant deposit of ours and I thing you are recuiting outsource to grant loans fr the customers. But when being a account holder we wanted loans we are this way geting refused- withot even listening to our needs and seeing our documents.

    THis is utter disgusting.

    I shall be grateful if you carry out a survey on the same and take necessary actions.

    THe private banks are ready to come t our houses to give us loan ans see what SBIs are doing !!!!

    An education loan for
    Rs164500/-(rupees one lakh sixty four thousand five hundred only)
    was sanctioned for B.Tech(Mechanical Engg) course for my son,
    which includes tuition fee, books, Equipment & transport charges etc
    by state bank of India R.K.Puram,New Delhi-66,but Issued drafts
    for only Tuition Fees for four years and & transport Charges
    (Only one Time) in four different year, totaling to Rs136100/-
    (Rupees one lakh thirty six thousand one hundred only)
    Further I, as well as my son requested in writing to AGM (Asstt. General Manager)
    of the Bank to issue an Account payee draft for the Balance amount
    of the sanctioned loan i.e Rs28400/-(Rupees Twenty eight thousand four hundred only)
    for purchase of Laptop(computer) which is highly essential for
    study purpose such as for preparation and presentation of Project Report for
    Completion B.Tech course etc.
    But no written information in reply to my letter is given to me and verbally denied
    by the concerned person.
    Kindly advise me what to do in the matter.

    I would like to complaint about state Bank Of India Laon department which is located in Bandra, Mumbai.I had applied for an housing loan from SBI & my proposal was presented on the 21st July 2008 and i had done all my stamp duty & registartion.After submitting all documents there was o movement from their part for more than 1month.After continous follow-ups on 20 th Augsut after 1 month i was told that my loan is approved but the amount which i had asked for will ot be granted.When i asked the reason they said it was due to valuation, The valuation report had come to the STATE BANK OF INDIA ON 5TH AUGUST i was informed regarding the same on the 20th August & as i had already spent more than 1 month by bulider is after me like anything.When i contacted the AGM of th Bank he simply said rather rudely sorry.This is waht service they provide

    I want to complain about state bank of india's cleark and manager bank located in Mangol Puri, New Delhi.I have applied for the new ATM card.I have lost my old ATM.I have already loadge a complain in mangol puri police station about my old ATM card.After that I have given a photocopy of FIR to cleark but he didnt give any response after 15 days I given to second application to manager after taking my application he told me very rudly that dont give application again we will deduct your money for again and again given application and the way of talking is very chep.when I call to your custmer care and told the bank''s employe talk to custmer care executive they cut my phone and shouting me very loudly and told (joo jo kar shakte ho kar lenea).please suggest me what i should do for getting my new atm card.I m facing so many problem.

    I THINK GOVT SHOULD IMMIDIATELY PUT THIS BANK PRIVATE ND HAND OVER THIS BANK TO TATA BIRLA OR RELIANCE, THEN SEE HOW THESE EMPLOYEE RUN ND WORK .I HAVE SEEN NEW GENERAATION ALSO DONT WANT TO WORK .THEY SHOULD NOT BE APPOINTED REGULARLY, THEY SHOULD BE ON 5-6 YEARS ON PROBATION AFTER GETTING FEED BACK FROM THE CUSTOMER THEY SHOULD BE REGULARISED .

refund cheque bounced

I had this so called Credit card from SBI, I gave a post dated cheque of Rs 1600 as a payment. Before that date I closed the card by paying the entire outstanding amount. Ideally the company should have never submitted my post dated cheque. But its SBI you can’t expect them to do so.

Any way my cheque of Rs 1600 was cleared and when asked for a refund they agreed to pay only 737, I said OK. But the cheque reached me after 3 months. I think the cheque was walking to my house!!.

I submitted the cheque and it bounced ( reason SBI stopped the payment). When asked the reason, they said it was erroneously done and asked me to resubmit, I resubmitted it and guess what it bounced again. I have asked for an explanation from them, but still no response!

I have decided not to submit the cheque now. Let the poor SBI souls have the money. These banks are like cancer cells and should be thrown out of business. I think any MNC or other Indian bank like ICICI bank is a thousand times better than these so called largest bank of India.

If you a SBI card read this cancel it and have peace of mind!!!

    I just called SBI card to cancel the card. They said that they have cancelled the card and refund draft will be sent for an overpayment that I made. Now I am pretty sure that I will never get the money back. SBI card sucks.

sbi credit card bills without credit card!

Long back about ten months before an executive came to me for SBI credit cards that has life time free subscription and lot of benefits, so as I applied for it. But for my surprise, to till date I didn't receive any SBI credit cards. but I use to get regular mails tomy mail ID from SBI stating my credit card payment... as till now i did not used any SBI card, and I never came to know my card number and how it is... instead I am getting mails and messages to my mobile for payment due.

I had sent a mail to marketing manager about this and asked him to cancel the card, and i am not liable to pay the amount also... he replied that he will do it, but till now he didn't and i use to get monthly mails and messages... I am sick of it... I don't know how to log a complaint, any one please suggest me how to complaint about it!

    The Recovery Agency at Andheri MIDC, Mumbai, Ph No. 39805727. Ms. Sunaya Chavhan has been very harsh, rude, arrogant to the customer and other colleagues over the phone. She did not give customer service cell nos. for the disputes that i had to put forward.

    The recovery agency from mahim (Recon) has been very uncooperative and very harsh especially Ms. Rupali and Mr. Aniket literally harassing me and my family member by calling around 15 - 20 times a day. which at times becomes unbearable.

    I have a bad & horrible feelings about SBI Credit - Since 2005 (as I remember) onwards it make me acute problems. One sales executive filled up the SBI Credit Card Form & provide a card. I made the transactions only Rs 999/- for Air Tel Life time scheme - SBI Authority forcefully sent Rs 5000/- cheque as loan & another 1/2 very small transaction made my me. Total transactions not more than Rs 8000/- all inclusive. I use to have made payment for the same including their un authentic charges too on monthly basis, intimate time to time to the authority & get advised they will adjust the same etc...I made the payment around Rs 33, 000/- to them. Lots of correspondence/e-mails had made in connection this problems mentioning to the SBI Authority finally in the year 2007 Full & final settlement made with some amount with taken money receipt from them & cancelled the said card.

    Now, on 22nd April 2014 received one Demand Notice vide Ref : PRE_EXEC_EST_APR14_02 dt 12th April, 2014 demanding total amount Rs 64, 329.41p inclusive of all cost & interest need to pay myself within 15 days. Other wise legal action will against me.
    The said letter has been sent by R Narayanan & Associates, Advocates, Delhi - 110054.

    I need to clarification of Rs 64, 329.41p due, my card status & also about my full & final settlement status.

    I really worried about this matter & don't know how I get relief from this horrible situation.

Please let me know why I have not yet been issued no dues certificate.

Please do not just keep sending sms for payments & what makes you to generating statements after statements after march 2007.
If you can send the no dues certificate its fine but if you cannot send no dues certificate then please do not send any further sms or statements, if you wish to continue then please understand that I will be forced to take up the issue with law makers of our country.
I will not allow such unlawful tactics to squeeze money from me.
I once again state that I have settled my card payment full & final on 28/03/2007 & have no dues now.
These charges were incorrect, unjustified & hence deducted rightfully by me as under then in march 2007:

My name is Aparna Goyal and I am a resident of Baghpat (U.P.). I have a joint account with my brother in Baghpat branch of SBI. I applied for ATM card to the bank and got the same but with misspelled name. I want to get the name spelled correctly but can find no ways to do that. People at the bank suggest me to work with same or open a new account. I did not find it convincing and tried to gain more information from the toll free number of SBI helpline, but neither that responded.

I request the authorities to look in the matter as soon as possible. I would provide any information required from my part for the appropriate action.

    I am trying to reach the Bank where I had an account while I was in India as I want to deposit some money. If I happen to call the customer service ,no one picks up and if they do then they just keep on passing line from one person to another saying that for Saving call this line for loan this line and... If one calls the lines they mention no one ever picks up the phone...

    While Globalization is in its full swing and competition is the key if we still have such banks working the way banking should had been in Stone Age, I think our government need to think once again...

    After reading the complaint of Aparna Goyal of Baghpet, I was enthused to write about my frustration with S.B.I. Vasant Vihar, New Delhi Branch.

    I was living in Vasant Vihar and in Mumbai but later became an NRI (resident in USA). I have continued my Savings and PPF accounts with this Branch of SBI, since the last many years.

    I am a Central Govt. pensioner. This pension is also disbursed by this very Branch on behalf of the Central Govt. The amount of my pension is credited by them to my Savings a/c with that Branch, every month. The amount of monthly pension quite often varies due to increase by Govt. of the dearness allowance etc.

    The Bank has never ever informed me of the amount of monthly pension credited to my account. I do not therefore know the exact amount of pension and interest that was credited to my Savings Account. I have to file Income Tax Return based on the amount of pension received during a financial year; and also interest earned on my Savings a/c during that year.

    Earlier, whenever I visited India, I used to personally collect these certificates. I am now 84 years old, my visits to India, besides being expensive, are also not physically possible, due to my age and ill health.

    The last date for filing the Income Tax Return for the year 2006-07 is already over. I have been sending email after email to the Chief Manager of Vasant Vihar Branch of State Bank of India to send to me by post, their Certificate stating the amount of pension that was credited by them to my Savings a/c during 2006-07 and another Certificate of the amount of interest that was credited on the balances in my savings account during 2006-07. There is no response despite several reminders.

    Could you or anybody else please help me.

    I am Harish Kumar. I have account in state bank of india in Najafgarh, New Delhi branch.I am totally dis-satisfied with the service provide by najafgarh branch.They (staff members) use abusive language with the consumers.Even before lunch time viz is scheduled at 2.00 pm to 2.30 pm here they go for lunch at 1 pm only.When i told them to do their duty properly they shout at me and tear off my letter(for the NTPC JOB APPLICATION).When i went to complaint for this to the manager the manager was not there he might be not in the office and after then when i reached the deputy-manager R k duhdwal for complaint book he refused to give me the complaint book and used abusive language against me and they(PS MEHRA-ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE AND DUDHWAL) said TUJHE JO UKAHDNA HAI HUMARA UKAHDE LE HUM TERA KAAM NAHI KARENGE OR NA HE COMPLAINT BOOK DENGE.
    Sir now it is up to you for your bank reputation.

fraudulant transactions

I was in mental agony for the past two months because of this card people and their stereo type e-mail answers. In May 2007, when I was in Vizag, there were 5 transactions posted in my card account and all these were Chennai transactions. All these transactions were done on one day 26/5/07 and same day I also had a transaction at Vizag. I reported this matter and sent dispute form to their charge back department on 14/06/07. They said all these 5 disputed transactions are of 'Swipe' transactions, which means my card was used for swiping. Then I have sent a request to Asst. Vice President, customer care and two charge slips out of 5 were sent to me on 23/7/07. To my surprise the card number and name on these charge slips were same as my card. But the the date of expiry was different and the signature on the charge slip was not mine. Moreover the time of transaction is almost same as my genuine transaction at Vizag. I have sent a copy of the charge slip of my genuine transaction and wrote detailed letter highlighting these differences immediately on 24/7/07. Now after a month I have got a lr from them saying that the card used is mine and they are urging me to pay the money to avoid penal interest etc.

Can anybody explain how the details of my card were duplicated and why bloody these cards are so probable of fraud. I need suggestion to solve this problem. Luckily till date I have not got any threatening calls.

    Hi,

    Even I got the same expereince almost 1 year back. Using my credit card number, some fraud people did some airline bookings and I am getting the bills for that till date.

    Actually I wonder how a new perosn got my credit card secret number.That number is written on the back of my card. The other person who knows that number is the SBI credit card customer people.

atm cum debit card

I have a savings account with state bank of india, branch-guwahati-geetanagar. Inspire of applying for an atm cum debit card for about four times , i have not received a card till now. I had also lodged a complaint in the sbi bank website. But no one contacted me till now.

    I have a savings Bank Account (A/C No. 10304822116) with State Bank of India, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh. Inspire of applying for an atm cum debit card for about four times , till now I have not received. I had also lodged complaints in the SBI bank website. The Complaints Nos. Are CC-1188744194875 and CC-1188744529312. But no one contacted me till now. Please do the needful and send me the ATM-cum-Debit Card at the earliest.

I have a story for SBI Credit Cards,

I had a dispute with SBI cards in Nov 2006 after I paying a amount of Rs.423/- towards bill amount on Oct 2006, through my SBI account Online transaction.

By mistake I entered last 2 digits wrong & till date they haven’t reverted that transaction where as adding Interest over Interest. I send their card back to them in Jan 2007 saying to cancel the card, Still day they haven’t canceled the card & as on July the amount stands to @Rs.3500/- for an mere amount of Rs.423/-.

The height is now, one person saying that he is advocate for SBI calling me & saying that the outstanding is @Rs.65000/- (Sixty Five thousand) & asking to see me in his office in Parry’s. Chennai India,

It is a request for you friends to stop using SBI cards & Surrender their card back. The call I got from [protected].

I had applied for Rs.4 lacs as a Student Overseas education loan from SBI,Vile Parle, Mumbai in May/June-2005 and my loan was sanctioned with a deposit of Rs.5000/- as margin money-to be adjusted against interest charges. (cost of education @Rs.25 Lacs for TWO YEARS)

Masters of Science course in US usually takes 18 months to 24 months .In August/Sept.2006 when I had finished with my own savings and finance-I approached SBI to disburse my sanctioned loan.

At this pont of time I got shocked from SBI ( letter in WRITING ) that my LOAN sanctioned has LAPSED ( loan WAS NOT availed within ONE YEAR of SANCTION ) and I need to apply ALL OVER AGAIN.

Since study duration was of 24 months-TWO years-which SBI knew in writing, I think officials ( Branch Manager and Personl.Bankung Manager) in charge of LOAN disbursement wanted me to GREASE THEIR PALMS for disbursement of loan .

I protested and complained to CHAIRMAN OF SBI and marking copies of my correspondence to CERC, Ahmedbad AND OTHER CONSUMER ORGANIZATIONS.

After correspondence/phone calls to SBI-HO in Mumbai- FOR ALMOST 3/4 MONTHS i got an OKAY for loan disbursement. My US university's deadline for payment of FEES already expired and I had to make alternative arrangements for LOAN at much HIGHER INTEREST and personal embarrassments/expenses.

I have sent complaint to CBI/ACB to take action against concerned officials of SBI-but NO ACTION. However due to STRONG PROTEST of my correspondence, SBI has QUIETLY REFUNDED MY MARGIN MONEY of RS.5000/- into my bank account.

I would appreciate if READERS of complaintsboard.com having similar experience to come forward and narrate their experience - to help other STUDENT aspirants to take guidelines for STUDENT EDUCATION LOAN.

deficiency in service by sbi cards!

I made payment to sbi cards through Bankers cheque issued by STATE BANK OF INDIA -(COIMBATORE Ganapathy BranchBranch code 3690). The banker made a mistake in issuing the cheque. He did not put his branch details on the cheque.

Sbi cards rejected my cheque stating that Since the bank details are missing, it could not be banked. They sent me a copy of the cheque. On contacting the STATE BANK OF INDIA who issued the cheque, he is not refunding my money or issuing a fresh cheque without the Original cheque.

Even after hundreds of calls, posts, emails and furnishing all the details to SBI CARDS through mail, They are not sending me the original cheque to me.

Now I lost my money with SBI CARDS and State bank of India.

BEWARE OF SBI CARDS!!!

    Dear,

    You need to approach the Manager, with a written complaint under Copy to SBI Cards...

    If you don't get a response try to approach the Senior level and Escalate even if you don't hear them approach the Banking Ombudsman.

    I had asked for redemption of reward points but I was sent a wrong voucher. I had sent it back to SBI CPSPL via registered post as told to me by helpline. This was a month ago.

    But still now I have not got back my reward points. I call up 3 times a week but they are saying that they are looking into the matter but in fact doing nothing. What should I do or whom should I approach?

    wnat to say that in the beginning of this month i made a transsaction of 2100 rupees and it is showing two times transsaction which is absolutely wrong and when i went to sbi main branch sec 17 they are not responding me...rohit sharma

everyday torture

Hi All,

This is Sathish Kumar - one of the mentally harassed guy by SBI credit card division.

I’m not holding any credit card from SBI, thank god. But here the story is different, there should be any data entry error or I don’t know someone has got credit card from SBI with named “Manoj Kumar”.

And these guys are keeping on chasing my number and asking for “Manoj Kumar”. I’ve been holding this mobile number for nearly 4 years and I am not “Manoj Kumar” also I don’t hold any credit card from SBI.

With the help of Internet I could find out that the following is the address of the call center which is calling on behalf of “SBI Credit cards”.

I’ve been tortured each and every day, even few minutes before I got a call from them.

Why don’t these bank guys verify the phone number before issuing any credit card.

    BEWARE CUSTOMERS! HDFC ATM A Big Fraud and a 420 An ATM at Himayathnagar attached to HDFC Himayathnagar Hyderabad 500029 Branch did not release money of Rs500 as indented on by me 7-3-2007 at 630PM My several reminders did not yield any result. So HDFC ATM is a mechanized Pickpoket. Beware Customers!

    I am having the same problem too! I have been harassed non stop. They do not direct us to any Manager even when asked about it directly. The numbers mentioned are the same and I am seriously fed up now. I cant believe a simple google search on teh phone number actually got me to this complaints thread and am strangely relieved that I aint the only one. I am at my wits end as to how to deal with this. Written complaints and all, nothing is working to stop them.

collection agent ran away without submitting my bill!

I have recently shifted to Gurgaon from Delhi. I had a outstanding bill of my credit card. I tried to drop a cheque but there are no ATMs in Gurgaon which have cheque drop box. I received a call from SBI regarding my bill payment. I asked him to come to me and collect the cash money. SBI executive came and collected the cash bill as 10200.00 Rs and he told me that he will deposit the money by today. Its been more than 1 month and when I contacted SBI customer care they said he hasn't submitted the bill ans its not their responsibility. I need to pay my bill again.

    I am one of the valued customers of State Bank of India, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli.

    I am holding SBI card No. 4317 5750 2981 8060. For the past 9months no statement was received either to my office or residence address. Not even I was informed of the payment
    due to SBI card over my mobile phone No. 9842455922.

    The change of address that I have intimated more than half a dozen times could not be taken care of by the SBI card personnels. Most of the persons working in customer care
    office hardly know any of the programmes lauched by SBI Card as well as the rules and regulations. Except a few all are callus in handling customers. Their replies are very evasive
    and not pointed.

    Please make immediate arrangement to send statements periodically to the new address or through e-mail address or SMS to my mobile phone.

    I can not be hanging on to customer care office every time for terminal amount to be paid by me. The SBI card cheques are also not collected periodically especially from the
    collection box maintained by SBI, Tiruchengode, Namakkal Dt. Tamilnadu. Nobody tries to help the SBI Card customers. If this is continued, customers will lose interest in SBI Card.

poor service!

A cheque of SBI main branch Kanpur payable at par at all branches of SBI was deposited in allahabad bank in extension counter Chandiwala Estate(Nehru Place).The same has been returned uncleared by SBI Air force Station Tuglakabad with remarks "Wrongly Delivered not drawn on us". The allahabad Bank where the cheque was deposited has retrenched Rupees sixty without none of my fault from my account due to dishonor of the cheque. I am a meager pensioner drawing only Rs.1180/- P.M from my Jeevan Surakhsha Policy. Deducting any amount out of Rs.1180/- i.e Pension will pinch to any retired person. The cheque is with me unpaid and not able to decide what to do with this cheque.

    Never Use SBI Credit Card!!!

    one of the worst managed policy and cheat brand . I have paid all remaining amount ( 74000) in time, I have paid by cheque through Worst managed SBI Drop Box . then also they put fine for same giving explanation that coliectd late . again I paid late fee and interest 3000+ . thy reject my check and reply me not duly signed. as asked for 10 time to send back that cheque . Again fine, and lots of hidden charge ...

    I suggest never use such card which never respect to costumers...

harassment and cheating

I had a sbi credit card and no matter how much i used to pay the amount was just going up... so i asked these people for a settlement. They said the total amount due is 40,000 so if i pay them 37,000 they will close my account i said ok... in dec 06. So i asked these people to come and collect the check.they took the check took my credit card and said we will send you the settlement papers in 7 working days. Till date i haven't received any settlement papers, i get a monthly statement and my balance due is going up again. If i call the customer care they are no good they are rude and not at all helpful. They say we don't have any information on the settlement. But every month they call and ask for the monthly payment ad promise to mail me the settlement papers. If this is not cheating what do i call this...

    same history happen with me & not sovled yet.
    officers from delhi calling daily for another settlement.
    first time outstanding was 17, 000 & settled on 13000 in 2003. after 5 year tbe balance 4000 became 21000 with dues & interest.
    now call from delhi to another settlement for 7000.
    what I should do?

Non receipt of credit card

I had applied for the credit back way back in the month of jan 07 and the same was dispatched at the given address as in the application. No body could receive them at home at Coimbatore in my house where my tenants stays. Now i am staying at ambala, haryana. My wife recently visited the bank and found that the same was lying with the staff dealing with the credit cards. They refuse to give the same to my wife in hand and simultaneously i got the fax no on 02 jul 07 and i requested the same to dispatch to ambala but till date i had not received the same.

Such a poor service being the biggest bank in india having the largest network. Once a letter was also delivered to them stating they should take immediate action but they did not bother. Hopeless and disgusting.

On the same i applied for the cheque book and to my dismay i found that being the main branch there was shortage of bank cheque book and that they also gave me after a gap of two month.

I conclude by that such a shameless bank we have in india.

rude collection agency!

I have credit card with SBI for the last 7 years. However i missed my payment due to my health problem, i am in hospital for a surgery and the same is communicate to the collection team at chennai. Even after that they had sent a collection guy called Rajesh to my residence and he threats with dire consequence to my family and abused all of them. Is this how SBI behaves with customers? Are they hiring criminal people?

    SBI Card company is a collection of fraud people. Dont ever try to go for SBI CARD. SBI card is the biggest fraud and harassment package company. Collection people of SBI Card are GUNDAS/ DADAS . SBI hired criminal record basis people for collection some of them a lot of Criminal cases pending in local court.

    I have been try to read on the internet about credit card harassment. SBI people are the most uncivilized people and are just greedy for money. I had left Bangalore an year back. I had an SBI credit card there. After coming to north, I simply did not use it. Even when i was in Bangalore, I never recieved any statement. Now after an year these people have been making their gundas call me up, threatening me to pay 31,000 which I do not know about!! And they have ne reciept of the statements sent to me. There is a clause in the statements which states that if not reported withing 20 days, the expense will be considered valid. I had no statement to warn me of any fishy activity. Please, as far as I know Supreme Court has banned these tactics. Is there any consumer agency I can contact?

    I have sbi credit card with number -1172 i am resiving many calls from department for payment i had already explained the problem they are not ready to hear the problem which i am facing. he said every boday is having problem. what is this why are u toruching me, he reaply in harsh words and filty language bad words about my family. i asked him not to come to my office, Collecting agents name MR.Ganyavel no:9566041967 & 9841547033 he say he is from Direct SBI, bank had given him full rights to threaten and get the payment. today 07.03.2016 he came to my office and cought my neck drage me out side the office gave me slap and used very bad filthy language there is proof of the words he used.. he said if you are not going to give me the payment by tomarow you will get third degree treatement from me. He said even police cannot take a single hair from my head if you conplaint. he is challenged me that he will remove my cloths in from of all my cologue workers and beat with slipers and make me run untill i pay the payment.

    SBI bank it very decent bank but the collection agents they have are very horrible persons.

to whom should I complain?

This is complaint against sbi credit cards where they have not been sending statements for last eight months. Without my authorization they have paid to Sundaram finance for a health insurance policy and now they have paid renewal charges without my permission or intimation. Since today I didn't receive any health card or policy also for Sundaram Finance.

How can I deal with this problem? to whom should I complain for the same? I tried sbi customer service many times, but no use.
