I sent an important document to Australia around May 2025 using SingPost and paid about SGD 30 for the service. In June 2025, we tried to check with Australia Post, but they informed us that they did not receive any parcel from Singapore.
On 25 August 2025, I found a SingPost delivery notification in my letterbox. I went to Katong Post Office to collect the item, but they told me it had already been returned to the sender, which was SingPost.
I then called SingPost to ask about the parcel, and they told me it was from Australia. This was very confusing because neither Australia Post nor SingPost had contacted me earlier regarding the parcel.
Today, I called SingPost again and spoke with a staff member named Ms. Darsh. Unfortunately, her service was very poor. She kept insisting that SingPost never makes mistakes and implied that it was the customer’s fault. She also told me to go to their main office to retrieve the item.
I feel very disappointed. I paid money for this service, but in the end, I only faced many troubles and poor customer service. It is very sad to experience this kind of treatment from SingPost.
