I had them do it to me twice. First time, $4.95+tax for 24hr orange pass as soon as i had brought Sling up to watch a DVRed show (I signed up for Sling Blue only, never orange). So I was on for a couple of seconds to be greeted with this crap before I even had a chance to do anything else. I don't have super speed to turn Sling on, and sign up for soeting I never wanted . After a bit of arguing with the CSR, he did agree to refund the charge and was confirm by my credit card company. A dozen days later, same thing. This time a 7 day pass for 15.95+tax. Charge is being disputed. The CSR absolutely refused to refund an unauthorized Sling added service. This is not only being contested, but filed a complaint with the FBI about this scam and trying to locate a Sling phone number, led to another scam with a phony search claiming it is Sling with the person identifying themself as a Sling technician who will help you get money refunded. Needless to say, I had verbally canceled my Sling account to the first (real) Sling CSR in the chatbox (downloaded) and my credit card so they won't be able to falsely bill me for anymore unauthorized service. As I recall, there was no way to cancel via streaming on a Roku. I never used any other method to view stuff on Sling other than a Roku.
Desired outcome: Money needs to be refunded.
