Sleepy's Mattress Sag

I purchased this top of the line mattress at Sleepy's in 2004. It is a beautiful double pillow top. I loved it, but it was a few grand and out of my price range. The saleswoman told me that she had a few of last years white model left in the warehouse for only $650 for both mattress and boxspring. The only difference being that the newer one was a beautiful gold color and last years model was white. Ok, no problem. I could deal with that. So I bought it.
The first night that I slept on it, I noticed a little difference in the feel from the showroom model. It was softer and felt as though it had less support. As time went on, I could feel the support leaving the mattress. I flipped it regularly which initially helped. But now, four years later, even if I flip it, it goes back to a sag in the middle after only ..oh maybe 1/2 hour TOPS! The sag is pretty bad. You don't really see it, because the pillow top masks the sag. When you lie down on it, you really feel the support missing. My girlfriend and I both roll together towards the middle. It's a full size mattress and I literally have to hang onto the edge of the bed to maintain any support.
This mattress has been slowly but surely giving me backaches for years now. It just progressed to intolerable. No kidding. I thought it was my fault as I worked out alot and ran in marathons. I basically did not think that it was the bed causing my back pain or contributing to it. However, I went to a Shriner's Ball(I'm a Shriner) at the Holiday Inn in Suffern, NY, and stayed the night. I woke up the next morning and my back was feeling great and I even have a recent on the job back injury! I was walking around upright and feeling really great & well rested! I looked at the Holiday Inn mattress and it was just a plain, inexpensive type...can't remember the brand..don't think it was on the label. But the point is that I got on the horn & called Sleepy's the next day!
They sent out an inspector who was a great guy, from Bed Chek, LLC. He whipped out a red metal bar, which is a faulty method of testing if the mattress is faulty especially on pillow tops, & measured it from head to foot on the bed. On one side it had a 1 1/2" depression, but when flipped it was 1 1/8". The plastic was not removed from the boxspring so that check was not accepted by Sleepy's. The second time he came, he measured from side to side. It had 1" on both sides. Well of course, I sleep on the edges of the bed! So Sleepy's denied my claim.
Here's another kicker: The model that I bought, had to have 2" depression on BOTH SIDES to warrant a replacement! The 2005 model, the one that I was originally thinking of buying, only had to have 1 1/2" depression on both sides. Kings Down changed the warranty on that the 2005 model. The salewoman didn't tell me that! She said only the color was different.
Ok so, Bed Chek, LLC, came out a few days ago as I complained and it was a new year...(you get 2 free checks per calendar year with Sleepy's or they make you pay $50!). This time the mattress sag was
1 1/2" on one side and 1 5/8" on the other. If they don't replace it w/o charging me. It's lawsuit time.
The person who is in charge of replacement, a friendly enough woman, (I won't mention her name), has seemed very concerned, but honestly, she only has offered to give me a discount on a new bed set. On a $1, 600 dollar set, she offered to sell it to me at the discounted rate of $650. I told her no thanks as that's what I paid Sleepy's for my bed set originally! Four years of poor quality sleep!
Finally, you would think that if a company were to find out that a member of FDNY EMS, who received a back injury on the job, would get some special attention from this company. Not a chance! I'm lying in bed at home trying to recooperate and the bed is only adding to my misery. I've had to sleep on my workout matt because of this bed. EMT's do not get paid much, but we give so much. I can't afford to replace this defective mattress with my own hard earned money. This is a true story. Think I'm kidding? I'm not.

Remember these words from an EMT who one day may be doing CPR on a member of your family:

I would not recommend Sleepy's or Kings Down.
Seriously.

I am so sick after reading all of this. I am on my second Kings Down too. I had a tan body system that was the worst mattress I have ever slept on I thought, unitl I got this 600 series red. Definitely the worst! Just like all of you I have to pull myself out of bed and I am in agony. It took me two visits with the kings down body system king mattresses to pass the "string" test so of course I am worried what will happen this time. I had to go through kings down directly since Sleepy's doesn't carry their mattresses anymore since they told me another company has taken over Sleepy's. All together I have put out $4000 and I cry when I have to go to bed every night. Its a nightmare. I have turned it every two weeks out of necessity since I've had it but like you turning it does no good anymore. I just sink. I just want this nightmare over and a credit for my mattress so I can get anything other than a Kings Down.

I agree with all above reviews. This is our THIRD Kingsdown mattress. We have the 600 series also. The first Kingsdown broke down and they replaced it...replacement broke down after two years and sleepys gave us a credit toward another KINGSDOWN ONLY! Now after three years were in the same boat. We got the my side because my husband likes firm and I like soft. Well of course we have the hump down the middle which formed in the first few months. My husbands side broke down first and now mine. It's horrific! I literally sink into a ditch at the very least 6" ! I have to pull myself out of bed in the morning gripping onto the side! They sent me the joke of a kit with the string and a stick...of course laying it on top doesn't show more than 1 1/2 " so the claim was denied. The ide of the mattress is literally bulging out on my husbands side. We both have back and neck issues and arthritis and this mattress has now given me grave hip pain and my sciatic is acting up again. Don't you love how they tell you about the wonderful lifetime warranty? What a crock! I will never ever buy another Kingsdown and most assuredly will never spend 3800.00 on a mattress either! Why not spend $500 of they're both going to break down anyway? I am sick to my stomach over all this and trying to figure out how we're going to afford another mattress now. Sickening!

I am so upset me and my husband went out searching for a bed and the sales men in Sleepy's talked my husband into purchasing the over prices piece of foam. At first I didn't want to purchase it due to the price. but the sales representative went on explained that since we purchased the box spring and mattress there is a lifetime warranty on this bed I should have asked for the fine print on the warranty. Because I have a huge hump in the middle of my bed the corners are collapsing. sat an the edge of the bed almost crack my head open on my dresser because the edges are collapsing. They sent a representative out she took a string with a alligator string put it across my bed took pictures with my name on it and I guess it was some kind of stand up ruler which showed it was 1.5 she said up we got it and said we will have an email within 10 days well 2 weeks later the send email that they do not warrant comfort and the bed is only like that from the way we sleep. they do not stand by hund there product I will wait another year they will be back and this time I will be taken pictures to prove what there representative has showing we had the 1.5. So I will suffer for another year.

I too am having the same problems with my Kingsdown series 400 red/blue mattress. My mattress is 4 years old and has a terrible sag on one side which is causing me severe back and sciatic nerve pain. I know this is the mattress as I went on vacation for a week, no back pain! I contacted Sleepy's about it and they sent me to mattress marshall. They in turn sent me a kit for me to do it myself to show the issues with the mattress. My claim was denied as they said the mattress did not have enough support. Not only is this my third mattress on this bed frame but the only one with this problem. I also went to the better business bureau. Once again Kingsdown says that the bed does not enough support that is why there is a sagging problem. Strange as only one side sags! I feel this is an inferior product. I could not wait any longer so I bought a new mattress. Not Kingsdown and not from Sleepy's. Do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY ANY KINGSDOWN PRODUCT. BUYER BEWARE AS SLEEPY'S NOW HAS THEIR OWN LINE BEING MADE BY KINGSDOWN. I was duped. Learn from my mistake, a very costly one at that.

We had bought a Kinsdown Sleep To Live 500 series for $2500.00 back in November 2011 and it has been the worst mattress ever. I have an Art Van tech coming out to inspect it but after reading these comments I don't feel so confidant they'll do anything about it. We bought it based on my herniated discs and sciatic nerve pain and since we have had have had the worst nights sleep EVER... I wake up in the morning barely able to sleep. And as far as them having you answer questions and laying on the computer bed to tell you the "Perfect" firmness was a complete joke. They told me I needed a soft and my husband a firm so we went ahead and after the first night we had to switch as it was WAY off. If anyone could give me any info to help get this POS out of my bedroom I would greatly appreciate it.

I have just begun my second go around with Sleepy's over my Kings Down 600 which was replaced just two years ago (for the same issue). Once again, sagging issue is creating significant back issues and poor night sleep. I know the blame game and the inspector scam and I am not up for it again. I'm considering beginning a class action suit, and was wondering if anyone would have an interest.

On May 2009 I purchased a 600 series mattress from Sleepys in New Windsor NY.The sales person advised me into purchasing other accessories to make sure i got the whole package incase i ever needed to use the warranty. I agreed because making a purchase of a high priced item i wanted to make sure i protected my investment. In total the cost was around $3200.00. Now not even 2 years later im having problems with the mattress I feel as if i purchased a bunk bed my wife is on top and im on the bottom, im constantly sliding down the mattress. . I contacted Sleepys and put in a claim, they had a 3rd party person known as a mattress marshall come out to assess my claim. He came 2 weeks after i put a claim in, his assesing was using a piece of string with a piece of wood hanging at the end of it to measure the depth of the dip in the mattress. He then went on to put a plastic measuring device to get the exact depth of the hole. he also took pictures but only after he took apart the mattress box spring all the way to the support frame it was very obvious that he was trying to find any excuse for the warranty to be voided, he then told me it it would take a week to send me their decison. I got the call indicating the warranty was not going to be honored due to poor support of the mattress. Needless to say when I went into the store they never mentioned any of this They acted as if their warranty would be one phone call away, meanwhile ive been on the phone with 3 different salesmen and 2 managers they claim theyve emailed the regional manager but i havent gotten a response one of them suggested i go on line and make a complain and hopefully the regional manager will get wind of it and act on it. No regional manager has contacted us as we requested this 5 days ago, the next step is to take legal action. . I am so annoyed with all the money i spent and the time ive been spending on having to call these people on a daily basis . The only other call that i will be making in regards to this situation will be Dunn and Brad Street, BBB and the Attorney General you can Sleep on that Sleepys!

Same problem here. Saggy overpriced Mattress from Sleepy's. Class action sounds like a good remedy. I'm getting notes about my condition from this mattress from my doctor and chiropractor. Pain and suffering will be part of the compensatory damages if they don't want to remedy the problem. Price Paid - $4, 000

Sleepy's Not bitter...just real!

It is not that they are a bad company...they have very poor management and no business knowledge. They are all about the buck. They have the wrong people in management from the ones that claim to run the company to the ones to claim to run their departments. Their department heads do not know how to speak to employees and instead of giving the employees the truth they bull--- their way out of situations because they are just not educated enough on how to speak to people. As for the layoffs, whether the company is doing well or not and it is not there is and was a better way of handling it. They only protect the ones they like. Sleepy's prefers having puppets working for them...pure ROBOTS. If you look at any employment add they claim that they are looking for innovative and aggressive, but in retrospect they are looking for the "YES MAN". If you cannot KISS ###, well than Sleepy's is not for you! Let's not forget how they are cutting cost and no longer are competitive in the job market. They are taking whatever they can away from their employees and stating it is because of hard times. I have yet to see other Companies take from their employees. They might be cutting jobs but they are keeping their benefits intact.
Reality is if you can hide the fact that you SUCK at your job this is the job for you. They don't respect the ones that get things done. They like the ones who take credit for getting it done and yet had nothing to do with it. All I can say is SMOKE and MIRRORS and when they realize what you aren't they promote you.
As for their customer service don't think they treat their employees any better. As an employee it took me a year to get my mattress replaced and it was defective two months after I purchased it. We sit on hold just as long as a regular customer and eat the same lines of bull----!
The company has the potential to be a GREAT company but the big boys are just out for themselves and could careless about the little guys. One day soon they will realize, you need REAL TEAM LEADERS in all departments to get ahead...most importantly you just need REAL LEADERS. They need to learn just because they don't see the poor interaction and abuse from mangers to employees doesn't mean it isn't happening. They need to know that sometimes hearing it needs to be enough to make that BIG Change! Well that is if Management were approachable to speak too!

Sleepy's Awful company

The problem started in August 28, 2007 when I approved for a GE Money Bank credit card to purchase a Stearns and Foster Queen Plaza mattress from Sleepy's. A month and half later the mattress in the middle was sinking in, causing my back to hurt severely doing my pregnancey. My fiance' slept on it as well and it as well and his back began to hurt him. So I called Sleepy and tokd them about the problem. The woman in customer relations told me it may be a defective mattress, to go back to the store where I purchase the mattress from, and they will exchange it for me. When we got their, my fiance' adn I spoke to a customer sales representative named Ray. He did the paper work and told us this was, 'an even exchange. When the delivery men arrive to deliver the other mattress they will return the first mattress back to the ware house.' I know this because; we asked him what will the company do with the old mattress. Ray the customer representative said, 'The mattress will be used as a floor model. He also said when the deliver men delivery my mattress the next day they will take the other mattress. This is where the problem brgan and all I got was a bunch of rude customer relations service from sleepy's workers. When I did finally speak to some one with some respect for customers; whose name is chanda Nixon, she offered me a $500.00 deduction off the $1918.22 mattress. This is the mattress I do not have, and a mattress that their delivery and sales representative workers took out of my one bedroom apartment-where there are three people living in this apartment. When ever I ask Sleepy customer relations about getting in contact with their deliverymen, to ask them about the mattress, Their answer to me 'they cannot get in contact with them because the delivery company are outside contractors and there is no way to get in contact to them.' My answer to that statement when they say it to me over the phone is always, 'God for bid if one of your delivery men came in here and did something criminal, what will your do and how will your get in contact with them?' That question has not been answered yet. I am still waiting, like I am still waiting for them to find the mattress that they are trying to charge me. I filed a case with the small claims court in Bronx, New York. We have a case that a scheduled for wednesday December 10, 2008 at 6pm When I spoke to Chanda Nixon on December 5, 2008 she told me over the phone that the case was settle, I never receive anything from the court or from sleepy's The Mattress Professional letting me know that the case was settle. Please any one out there need help or can help me with Sleepy's call me so we can STOP this company from stealing from consumers. I Belive Sleepy's The Mattress Professional are selling defective and used Mattress. I don't care what State you are in just call me please and if you won a case on Sleepy please call me.

I learned a very expensive lesson by buying from Sleepy's. I am out $1500 for a defective inferior product. I am tired of going through the particulars, but they also offered me $500 dollars store credit. I am not going to throw good money after bad. Had I checked with Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau as I usually do before making a pricey purchase I wouldn't be in this boat. I am going to file a Small Claims, case and contact the Attorney Generals office. It seems to me there seems to be a pattern in that thousands of people make the same complaints of defective merchandise and voided warranty's. They also all have the same theme of being offered a $500 store credit. I have never heard of a situation where a mattress was taken away and not replaced, but after my dealings with them I totally believe this woman. I will post again with pictures of my mattress that looks life a muffin top.

I have personally dealt with Chanda Nixon and know that she is a representative that DOES NOT hold true to her word...she only says what she has to to get you off the phone. In my dealings with this "woman" (and I use the word woman loosley" I found her unknowledged and extreemly crass, she also seemed to have a love of big words that she'd throw in from time to time in entirely the wrong context (buy a dictionary) ...when it came to resolving issues there is NO ONE in their "customer relations" department who gave a damn. Good luck getting any satisfaction...I cut my losses and took my business elsewhere

Sleepy's Rip off

This is my first mattress purchase from Sleepy's and after the experience I have had, I don't think I will ever be a Sleepy's customer again nor will I ever be a Sleepy's Promoter. Earlier last week, I purchased a Simmons Maroon Peak Mattress from a representative, Chauncey. After speaking to Chauncey and explaining my needs, I decided to purchase the Simmons Maroon Peak Queen set. After my order was placed, Chauncey indicated that I would need to visit a Sleepy's location to sign paperwork. I visited the Park Avenue location in New York, NY. When I arrived to the location, I met Michael, MM988 who explained that I would not need to sign any paperwork and would only need to confirm my delivery date. Before leaving the store, I asked Michael to allow me to experience the Simmons Maroon Peak Queen set, I recently purchased. I was granted my request and upon completion left the premises.

My first negative encounter was when I received an automated call indicating that I would need to pay the drivers approximately $120.00, the remaining balance on my account. I found this odd as I signed up for in-house financing with Chauncey earlier last week. I called the customer service center, and was transferred to Katie Danalis, who explained that there was nothing she could do to assist and that I would need to visit a Sleepy's location in order for the deliverymen to leave the mattress with me. I explained to Katie that I was away from the city, did not have access to a car and would not be able to visit a Sleepy's location, but needed my bed as I would be returning to my apartment Sunday, October 26. She communicated to me that someone would be calling me back that would be able to further assist but I unfortunately never received a call. After waiting 4 hours for a call back, I called the Sleepy's line to hear that customer service closed at 6PM.

My second and worst encounter of customer service took place when my mattress arrived the following morning. When the deliverymen removed the mattress from their truck, I noticed the mattress size was a Full sized mattress. I explained to the deliverymen that I ordered a Queen sized mattress and that there must be a mix-up. He suggested I call customer service. The representative transferred me to Mr. William Latham, who was unable to maintain a professional tone and whose solution was to play a tape that proves that I confirmed my order. I explained to Mr. Latham that this was not helping my solution of having the wrong bed delivered to me. He indicated that he could have the Queen sized bed delivered to me but that it would be an additional $42 and he could not guarantee a time that it would arrive. I explained to Mr. Latham that I don't believe that I should be charged an additional $42 for something that wasn't my fault. After a heated exchange, he offered me no other solution and transferred the phone back to his representative. The representative ordered the deliverymen to contact the police if I didn't arrive to a solution: sign for the order or have them remove the mattress set. I explained to the deliverymen that I needed a few minutes to make up my mind on what I was going to decide. One of the delivery men went outside and proceeded to call the police. After feeling threatened by the two men, I signed the paper afraid of being mattress-less for the evening.

After the delivery men left, I called Sleepy's customer service and spoke to Tareka, TCR. Tareka was apologetic and said she would honor an exchange. After being placed on hold for approximately 10 minutes, Tareka came back on the line and explained that she would not be able to honor the exchange due to Mr. Latham's direction. This left me confused as Tareka said she was in the process of completing the exchange ten minutes prior.

I am now here unsatisfied with my order experience and more importantly in the customer service I received. Sleepy's assumes the slogan of “The Mattress Professionals, " but unfortunately I don't believe the experience I endured was anything close to professional. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase from SLEEPY's, you'll regret it!

Sleepy's Delivery charge for no delivery

I bought a queen size matteress from Sleepys on November 27, 2008. A few red flags went up. The salesman said the price on the bed was a very good price. I liked the bed, thought it was a fair price and
I bought it. He was writing it up and then exclaimed that he couldn't put the price in the computer because it was so low. He had to call the management office to get an override code. He did call and got the code. He said the price on the bed was left over from the Friends and Family sale and shouldn't be there anymore. 2 things bothered me. One the Friends and Family sale had been over for 6 days - no one noticed this sale price on a bed that was directly next to the service desk? And 2) he didn't get up to remove the sign. I'm guessing if the wrong price was on something, as soon as you honored it for me, you would get that sign off the merchandise immediately...unless of course, this entire little charade was done to make me think I was getting a good deal.
The next step is what really bothered me. Delivery for the bed was something like 89.00. I have a van so I said forget it, I'll pick it up. He said, OK, you can pick it up in 2 days in the store 2 towns away. Still not too bad. But then he told me I had to pay a $29.00 delivery fee. And they would not help me load the bed into the car for insurance reasons. I had to do it all myself. What in heavens name am I paying 29.00 for? The right to buy the bed? The right to take it from their store? I thought I paid that when I bought the bed. I can't imagine another store doing this. If I go to Macy's and buy a shirt, I don't expect to pay more to carry it out of the store.
Bottom line...it's a hidden fee. The price they list will never be the price you pay. What a rip-off.

it's 29 bucks to have them ship the merch from their warehouse to a showroom of your choosing. showrooms are not a little warehouse for cheepskates who do not want to pay for delivery. I wonder, did the the sales guy have a jeans and t-shirt on? no? i guess it isn't his/her job to lift a mattress either. you could pick it up from the warehouse for free.

seriously, you're an idiot.

Sleepy's Awful quality product

Stay far away from Sleepy's! I purchased a Stearns and Foster full size Oak Room Rest mattress for 1, 350 dollars. I was told that I had to pick up the mattress which I did. When I returned home with the mattress and opened the plastic, I found a 2 inch puncture in the bottom of the mattress which did not puncture the plastic covering. Obviously, the mattress was damaged prior to delivery.

The company representative at 1-800-SLEEPYS referred me back to the store, which referred me back to 1-800-SLEEPYS. They are not going to exchange the mattress, and they declined my request for a refund. The standard 'CONTACT ME AT [protected]@SLEEPYS.COM' is a phony e-mail address.

Sleepy's has recently settled a class-action lawsuit for 200, 000 dollars due to deceptive and fradulent sales techniques. Their customer service is downright pathetic. Stick with a major department store that will stand by their product. SLEEPYS DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT, NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.

This is my first mattress purchase from Sleepy’s and after the experience I have had, I don’t think I will ever be a Sleepy’s customer again nor will I ever be a Sleepy’s Promoter. Earlier last week, I purchased a Simmons Maroon Peak Mattress from one of your representatives, Chauncey. After speaking to Chauncey and explaining my needs, I decided to purchase the Simmons Maroon Peak Queen set. After my order was placed, Chauncey indicated that I would need to visit a Sleepy’s location to sign paperwork. I visited your Park Avenue location in New York, NY.
My first negative encounter was when I received an automated call that indicating that I would need to pay the drivers approximately $120.00, the remaining balance on my account. I found this odd as I signed up for in-house financing with Chauncey earlier last week. I called your customer service center, and was transferred to Katie Danalis, who explained that there was nothing she could do to assist and that I would need to visit a Sleepy’s location in order for the deliverymen to leave the mattress with me. I explained to Katie that I was away from the city, did not have access to a car and would not be able to visit a Sleepy’s location, but needed my bed as I would be returning to my apartment Sunday, October 26. She communicated that someone would be calling me back that would be able to further assist but I unfortunately never received a call. After waiting 4 hours for a call back, I called the Sleepy’s line to hear that customer service closed at 6PM.
He indicated that he could have the Queen sized bed delivered to me but that I would be an additional $42 and he could not guarantee a time that it would arrive. I explained to Mr. Latham that I don’t believe that I should be charged an additional $42 for something that wasn’t my fault. After a heated exchange, he offered me no other solution and transferred the phone back to his representative. The representative ordered the deliverymen to contact the police if I didn’t arrive to a solution, sign for the order or have them remove the mattress set. I explained to the deliverymen that I needed a few minutes to make up my mind on what I was going to decide. One of the delivery men went outside and proceeded to call the police. After feeling threatened by the two men, I signed the paper afraid of being mattress-less for the evening.
After the delivery men left, I called Sleepy’s customer service and spoke to Tareka, TCR. Tareka was apologetic and said she would honor an exchange. After being placed on hold for approximately 10 minutes, Tareka came back on the line and explained that she would not be able to honor the exchange due to Mr. Latham’s direction. This left me confused as Tareka said she was in the process of completing the exchange ten minutes prior.
I am now here unsatisfied with my order experience and more importantly in the customer service I received. Sleepy’s assumes the slogan of “The Mattress Professionals, ” but unfortunately I don’t believe the experience I endured was anything close to professional.

Sleepy's Chemical smell on 2 mattresses

Bought 2 Simmons Beautyrest Balthazar mattresses from Sleepys, both had horrific chemical smells which did not go away. Company extended the 'comfort exchange' to me, but my concern is that I should be able to return product and get my money back, thereby leaving Sleepys entirely. Not sure why both mattresses smell like chemicals yet are supposedly new according to their tags. Something must be wrong somewhere as no product make one sick from its odor. The small print states 'no refunds' and only one comfort exchange. I was given an extra comfort exchange due to this problem, but have to pay the delivery fee. They've got you coming and going it seems.

Geez..I feel these complaints should do directly to the manufacturer and not Sleepys... Sleepys sells mattress... they dont make them.

The Manufacturers have to make the mattresses Fire [censor]ant and thus the slight chemical smell. It's due to the foams as well... I recommend you guys take the bedding off the mattress and allow them to air out. the smell should disappate in a few days/weeks depending on if it's covered.

But Sleepys shouldnt be responsible for the way the mattress smells. If the mattress smells like cigarettes, the drivers should be to blame... get the picture?

I have the same problem. Bought two (expensive!) Kingsdown mattresses from Sleepy's--they have VERY strong chemical smells. My guess is that it's whatever they use as fire ###ent.

ALSO: these are supposed to be two extra-long twin mattresses but they are 3 inches short of the standard 80". Sleepy's is totally sketchy. I highly recommend purchasing your mattresses elsewhere.

Sleepy's Sleepy's Scam

Went to Sleepy's today to get a Sealy's Posturepedic advertised in Better Bedding. They advertise that they would match the price with 20% lower than the competetition. So great, I go there and the matresses they have are better than the competition, ok so I was born in 1980 which might feel like yesterday but doesn't everyone claim that their product is better. So i play along and they only match the price and offer free delivery. Great, now I have a coupon for $50 off the purchase and I found out that I cant combine it with other offers, now wait a minute, there is no disclaimers in the coupon. So after fighting trying to get the coupon amount i said forgett it and cancel the sale, its not worth it. I would rather go to a reputable store than to a whole bunch of scammers that draw you in and substitute.

Sleepy's seams coming appart

bought a international bedding mattress from them for 500 dollers and found the seams on the mattress ripped in places and coming apart in other places. 10 days latter, they replaced this defective mattress with a new one that I found on delivery also had tears in the seams and lose treading on other parts of the seams. They now tell me, theyll send me another one tomorrow, and this time it will be inspected and made from a newer batch. I have fears of future court battles with these people-this so called quality company.

Sleepy's Sleepys is a total Ripoff

Have tried getting a defective mattress replaced. These people are impossible.

1. They are like high-pressure used car salesman in their Sleepys stores.

2. They lie about the customer service.

3. They charged us for delivery and for taking our old mattress away.

4. I later found out that the same exact junky Kingsdown mattress that they charged me $2800 for, they sell to others for HALF of that.

5. Sleepys is the sleaziest retail operation ever...STAY AWAY FROM SLEEPY'S!

The store employees at Sleepys ruined my mattress! One week went by from the time I paid for a perfect mattress (clean and comfotable) until I went back to the store to pick it up on the SUV (when the platform bed I ordered came in). They had dragged it on the floor placing deep black dirt scuffs along both sides. The tag was missing too. The store employee made me notice since he was pushing it himself along the floor. I asked for something to clean it off and he brought out disinfectant. I had asked they store the mattress ($1000) off the showroom floor, but they just put it in a bag that didn't fit and left it unsealed (the store manager did this) and leaning up against the wall. Th store worker and the manager alike both denied responsibility for the damage. I had to demand a refund, they didn't want to do this at first. Can anyone say Idiocracy? !

Sleepys is the worst company ever! They are such a scam and they will tell you anything to get a sale. They pressured me into buying a mattress that was on the floor because they were able to discount it at a great price and was told what a great bed it was. Well this bed was horrible and I had back surgery so I now my back is worse. These people sold me a bed knowing that I had a back problem and they didn't give a $%%$% and now I'm stuck with the bed because they are saying it is a clearance item. Why would I buy a bed that I couldn't exchange? That would be the stupidest thing ever and it would never happen. On top of it they charged me a delivery fee of 90 dollars and it was suppose to be free and also talked me into buying a mattress protector for 100 dollars and 2 pillows for 80 dollars. So Now I am out over 1100 dollars and using my old bed again. See you in court Sleepys!

Report to your attorney general. The are crooks with shady customer service. My son mattress was not even 2 yrs old and it developed a pit in the center. He doesn't even sleep home all the time. They said this top of the line mattress was perfect for him. $1000, what a joke. Avoid at all costs. All he has now is back pain!

I bought a box spring and frame from Sleepy's in Vails Gate, NY and less than 3 months later the thing collapsed under normal use. It is clearly defective with a bulge sticking out the bottom from a weak supporting rail. They sent out their representative who took pictures and they said the manufacturer's report showed no defect and that there was a stain on the box spring anyway so they could not exchange it. There was no stain. They are lying. The product is clearly defective and they refuse to stand behind their product. I was ripped off plain and simple. Sleepy's is a criminal organization selling inferior, defective products to the public and then refusing to support those products. Sleepy's company is

I bought king size mattress set from sleepy's woburn in the month of nov'0..and soon after the 25 days delivery the mattress started sagging and making noises...i contacted the sleepy's customer care but they said all mattress normally takes 30-60 days for adjustment and comfortability level.so I waited for that time and still no change in the condition in the meantim I also suffered from severe back pain and feels nauseous when waking up in the morning..so i contacted the customer care again specifying my problem, so they sent the Mattress marshall's inspection guy who did the inspection and informed me that first the mattress u ordered and paid the price for in the invoice is for seally brand but they actually delivered the IBL brand which is in itself a breach of trust also the mattress has no strong support as the quality of box spring is really bad..after the 10 days of inspection i contacted the customer care again so they said to my surprise that they dont have any inspection records for our invoice so they suggested that they'll send the inspection guy again..so i waited for another 10 days for the inspection guy and luckily the same inspection guy came and informed me that the problems are same and the mattress is sagged etc etc..so again when i contacted the customer care this is what they actually replied.." Hi,

Just got the results, its says that the mattress is 1/8" depression and
it's up to mfg standards, at this time I can only offer you a partial
credit towards a new set of bedding. Please let me know if you can
accept this offer.

Laleta"..i mean this is so unfair and rude to customers who trust sleepy's brand and family name reputation and this is how they treat their customers who invest huge amount in their company.
why would i pay partial credit for the wrong and defective product and continue suffering..I guess somebody has to do something for this kinda injustice..

Sleepy's fraud and scam

After purchasing a mattress from sleepys I have realized the scam that is going on with them. You go into a store to LOOK at a mattress and within 5 seconds a salesman is hounding you. Then you choose a bed you like and they offer you one that is just as good. Why would they do that Oh I know they make a larger profit on the unbranded ones, and the salesman gets a larger commission. Within 10 minutes you are sitting in the chair buying a mattress that you really only wanted to look for. You have no clue what is coming but it is being delivered without your knowledge by the end of the week. Then of course you get it and realize it is totally different then the one you ordered, and that one doesn't even exist anymore, so when you want to exchange it for the correct one it cost you additional monies and they call it a comfort exchange. How funny they make more money on the same sale, so really were is the discount they supposedly gave you.

OK so now you go back to the store to complain about the mix-up which they already now is going to happen, and your salesman tries to tell you he gave you the right one, in front of the 'District Manager', who has no clue what his job really is. So you speak to the salesman when he tells you wait I will be back in five minutes and he goes to the back of the store and pulls a mattress in front of him and starts praying. What kind of store is this I don't understand is it a mosque or a mattress store. Offended, yes I was, and when he returned I was told I had to pay an additional $640. Well what a deal he prays and charges more what a business.

So here is where I am know with a mattress that is killing my back which I cant return but can comfort exchange for $640, when in reality it was never the one I purchased because they don really have that one.

I did find one which seems good but how can you tell if a mattress is comfortable for 1 minute of lying on it? This is what they don't understand upon numerous other things.

Same thing happened to me, with Kingsdown Sleep To Live 400 Series. Sales floor mattress was a dream. The one that was delivered was rock hard, and when it finally"broke in" after 6 months I am in pain every single morning. EVERY MORNING! Where is the mattress I thought I was buying?

Either Sleepy's or Kingsdown is involved in some serious fraud/theft. It's a little game, the salesfloor mattress is amazing, the one you get is nothing like it.

Oh, your bed is uncomfortable? Ok, spend close to $800 to just EXCHANGE your own merchandise back to the same store.
I did that very thing to purchase the Kingsdown from a horrible Devona (I stupidly bought off their website to get a sale price-never buy a mattress off a website) and now it's too late to exchange this second mattress, so I need to buy a third full price mattress.

I will NOT be a customer of SCAMMY SLEEPY's anymore. I already tell all my friends and family about it, many of them have had this same issue. This store chain needs to seriously rethink about how it treats it's customer, look all over the internet. This story is repeated on multiple google searches everywhere! CHARGING YOUR CUSTOMERS (after giving them some defective product) for an EXCHANGE (because what do you know, this defective product causes pain!) exorbitant amounts of money is pretty vile.

It seems like the Better Business Bureau would have looked into this chain and closed this place down. All I'm saying is what goes around comes around. Hopefully this chain is one of them that the current Economic Downturn will pick off and go out of business permanently.

Yes, I purchased King size Live to sleep bed also. If I sleep in the bed I wake up with back pain and I have never had an issue with my back. My best night sleep is on my couch. I regret the purchase and firmly believe that the ultimate best made, most engineered, perfect bed should I say is on the Sleepys sales floor for us to lay on and then select. However, the Kingsdown Sleep to Live bed I got is definetly not comparable to the one on the sales floor . I feel its a bait and switch...the bed we get is the cheap version.

I too purchased a mattress from Sleepy's and woke up feeling I had been hit by a car my back hurt so badly. I have NEVER had back pain in my life. After contacting them, I paid for a comfort exchange only to find that the exchange was no better. No I am stuck with a mattress I can't use. This item (Kingsdown sleep to live series) should be recalled and customers should be entitled to a full refund. Do NOT buy this bed. It is horrible and they a "scamming" you into thinking it's the bed thing you ever bought.

I am disabled, and require a firm mattress for my back. My community integration specialist and I, went into there store, and were immediately confronted by a salesman in a suit. I explained my need for a firm mattress, and was shown some very low quality firm mattresses. They were all uncomfortable. The salesmen then said, I think I know a mattress you might like. He then handed me over to another salesman. He claimed that it was a firm mattress, but wt soft cover. It was wrapped up in plastic. I laid down on it, and it felt comfortable. I was told that it was an $800 mattress, but that he could give me a deal. He sold it to me for $500 even. He explained that the mattress had a 21 day return policy. I slept on it only one night, and the next day, I had terrible back pain. A week later I tried to return it, but then learned that there was a $150 return policy, and that the mattress must be delivered. This would be another $90. They claimed that once a mattress was slept on, it could not be returned for free. It must be destroyed. If this is true, then why do they insist, that the labels be intact, and the bed be stain free. I was taken, for $500. This is equal to the amount of money, that I make from Social Security in a month. Taken ...

Sleepy's Potential fraud or mislabeled merchandise

Purchased Kingsdown mattress color-coded to be specific firmness; however mattress received turned out to be much firmer. Upon inspecting the tag, it was the correct color coding (green/blue) but then noticed that it was glued on top of an alternate tag for the firmest mattress available (red/red). So I am skeptical that I actually received the correct product - either a manufacturing issue with Kingsdown or alteration of label by Sleepy's. Working with Sleepy's to resolve now, with little success so far.

We bought a $3, 000.00 mattress from Sleepy's and were told it had a 100 % lifetime guarantee. The only clause in the warranty, we were told, was that if any stains got on the mattress it would void the warranty. I told the sales man that we could not buy it then because I have night sweats. He told us they sold a special mattress cover made specifically for that purpose because it was mostly couples our age that were buying the specific mattress we were looking at. He said the mattress cover was guaranteed against night sweats, and a whole list of other things.

Within one year the mattress began to fall apart so we filed a claim. Sleepy's called back and said the mattress was not in bad enough shape for them to replace but the box spring was defective and needed to be replaced. They wanted $91.00 to ship us a replacement box spring! We called them back and told them there was absolutely nothing wrong with the box spring at all but the mattress was shot. They sent the inspector out again. The inspector clearly admitted that he saw the mattress was damaged however now there was a small stain on the mattress. Sure enough Sleepy's called and said the warranty was void because of the mysterious stain. We told them that the stain was not there the first time he inspected the mattress and he took off the mattress protector and put it back on himself. We also explained that when we made the initial claim and the first batch of photos were taken there was no stain on the mattress. Sleepy's replied by saying that we needed to go to the company that made the mattress protector because night sweats should not have gone through it onto the mattress and the matress protector company (Metro Guardian) would replace the mattress under their guaranty. We called Metro Guardian and guess what! They said that despite what Sleepy's told us when we bought the mattress night sweats are not covered under their warranty and because I am having night sweats their warranty is void! WTH! How can any of this be legal?

I am sorry to hear about your troubles with Sleepy's, join the club. Along with the defective box spring I bought from them, I had also bought a Kingsdown mattress from a Sleepy's store in NYC about 3 years ago. These things are supposed to last 10 years and mine is already sagging terribly and in bad shape from normal use. The product is crap. If you have a chance to return it all to them your should try to cancel the sale. This is probably why they foisted a firmer mattress upon you. They likely have had so many complaints about Kingsdown mattresses sagging problem that they figure if they start you out with a firmer mattress in disguise then in a couple of years you won't be so angry when your mattress gets much softer and starts to sag which it will. Tell your story to the US Bankruptcy court and help us put an end to Sleepy's and their pending monopoly of our local bedding industry. If you call their customer service idiot you will likely encounter a hard sell to get you to throw more money at them to resolve the situation that they should resolve at no cost to you. These scam artists have no conscience. Don't fall for it. Go to a reputable retailer or department store to get your bedding & you'll be happy you did. Let's all do what we can to spread the word about these scammers. The only way to send a useful message is with your wallets! Don't spend any money at Sleepy's!

Sleepy's Bad experience

On 06/14/08 I purchased a mattress and a box at the sleepy's manchester 169 hale road manchester, ct. I chose the option to pick it up at the store on 06/21/08. Around 6:00pm 6/20/08, I got a phone call from the store saying that the merchandise was shipped to 29 pavilions drive manchester, ct so I should go there to pick it up. I was not happy with that because I had planned to pick up something else from the babiesrus next door during the same trip. But what can I do? On 6/21/08, my husband drove a rental truck to 29 pavilions dr to pick up the stuff. The store manager bob told him that they could not locate the items we bought. The rental truck was charged by mileage, not to mention the gas cost. So I was even less satisfied with sleepy's and cancelled the order. On 07/08/08, I called 169 hale rd and talked to shawn to find out the items I purchased were still available. Because I was short of time to shop for a mattress again, I asked to repurchase the items and have them delivered by sleepy's with no delivery charge. Shawn asked about my preference on delivery date and time window and promised me I was all set. I realized that he probably did not have my current address since I moved so I called him back to give him my new address. He took my address and again promised that I was all set for delivery from 12:00 - 4:00 on 7/9/08. At 1:43pm 7/9, I got a call from the store's sales manager saying she was confused about my order so the mattress and box I purchased were taken off the delivery truck. I told her the story so she said they would put the items back to the delivery truck and she would call me back right away. I was waiting at home for the delivery the entire afternoon. Nobody from sleepy's called me! Neither anything was delivered! So I called both 169 hale rd and 29 pavilions dr, total of 4 times requesting to talk to the sales manager. I wanted to find out whether they were going to deliver or not. Someone called zex at 169 hale rd answered the phone twice and each time he claimed that he's a new employee and knew nothing. So I said please let me speak to someone else at the store then. But nobody else came to the phone. When I called the 29 pavilions dr, they said they took my message and would have the sales manager to call me back. Again, the sales manager did not call me back. At 4:48pm I called the company's customer service to complain about my experience. Jeremy from customer service said he could set up a delivery from 3:00pm - 7:00pm tomorrow. I asked for a discount as compensation for the time I spent waiting for the delivery, all the phone calls I made, and the frustration I had for this terrible shopping experience from the very beginning. Jeremy claimed that he was already trying to accommodate me as they normally do not deliver from 3pm - 7pm. But if the items were in the store when we went to pick them up at the first place, nobody would need to deliver anything. And where did that "you are all set" from shawn go? Why wasn't it delivered as it was promised? So after the first error for misplacing the items, they have to make another one for mispromising a delivery? I talked to jeremy's supervisor, russell from customer service, employee id #rlr. He said I only have two options: cancel the order or have the order delivered another time. But what about the value of my time? I have to wait at home another time for the delivery, not to mention all the time I spent waiting for the sales manager's call back, and all the frustration with the error after error they kept making? At 6:42pm russell called me saying he spoke with mary ann, the sales manager and she would call me back in the evening to resolve the situation. Again, she did not call me back! I am terribly upset with my experience at sleepy's.

Poor quality of mattresses, warranty department does not consider your claims seriously. They find any excuse not to cover their products under warranty. Think twice

I purchased a Sealy King Size Mattress in June of 2009 (4 years). I called Sleepy's to complain about sagging in the mattress. As we all know, they then send out the "Professional Mattress Inspector", who took 4 weeks to get to my house. He measured the sagging, took a few pictures (my mattress looks brand new), and was gone in 5 minutes. He told me I would get a phone call from Sleepy's with the results. I said to him "what results do I need", I have a 10 year Warranty... His reply, which was epic " IT'S A WARRANTY NOT A GUARANTEE". From that moment I knew the game was on, so I loaded my ammunition, as I went online and found 14, 127 reviews & complaints about Sleepy's shady customer service... Low and behold, I received the call a few days later. I am sorry, but Sleepy's cannot honor your warranty as the report states improper support framing. Sleepy's will now find out the true definition of resilience. I contacted Sealy which is the company that sold Sleepy's my Mattress. I have attached a document from Sealy website that shows Correct king size framing... in the middle Image it shows one support will suffice... My frame has two supports, which I would consider more than adequate. I have posted this complaint with, BBB, Consumer Affairs, [redacted], Pissed Consumer, The Squeaky Wheel, and I contacted Arnold Diaz from Fox 5, and Help me Howard from Pix 11. My Pissed Consumer Complaint got a reply (which BTW has this heading, "SLEEPY'S VOIDS WARRANTY W/BOGUS IMPROPER SUPPORT CLAIM")...from a woman who is Sleepy's customer relations rep & she contacted me, and wrote this amusing little piece... " We thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you. Please email me at csable@mattress.com to include your invoice # and/or customer code along with the best contact # to reach you. We look forward to working with you on resolving the complaint."

In closing I wish you all good luck in your future endeavors with SLEEPY'S THE MATTRESS UN-PROFESSIONALS.

Yes, I also have such a horrible experience like yours. I will stay away from Sleepy's in rest of my life. First, we paid off everything already, but their computer system said that we just paid the deposit. After we figure out that was there computer system fault, them the delivery problem came up again. Everytime I call to the store to make appointment for delivery, they just answered "Our computer system is down, call us tomorrow." I wonder how could they service custemer with such a crap computer system?

Because thay don't have such a "Custemer Service", I guess I will do this way next time...Go to sleepy's and test on every bed, and have a detail discussion with their seller, but always act like I want to buy something from them. As long as that I know what kind of bed that I want, write down the product number, and "SHOP ONLINE." I guess this is the only way that I revenge a company with no "Custemer Service". Complain is useless. I will encourage my friends to do so as well.

At least I don't have any such bad experience with online store since I start buying things online many years ago.

I bought a Sealy mattress at Sleepy's in Philadelphia for my son when he relocated for college 8/2004. It had a 10 year warrantee. Within 2 years the bed was horribly ribbed and very uncomfortable. He called the store. He was told it had to have a 2" deep indentation to be repaired/replaced. The warrantee says 1-1/2". It is a pillow top, pretty hard to measure with all the fluffy topping. He has since moved to Danbury CT. I stayed with him in October 2008 and the bed was incredibly terrible! He now has developed a low back condition. I told him to try to get the warrantee to replace it. He called the Sleepy's store. He told me that he spoke with Shakira and she was going to notate his file to say that he voided the warrantee because he is not the person that bought the bed. She was horrid on the phone to him. I called local stores that sell Sealy to ask what I should do. I was referred directly to Sealy. They've been nice, trying to be helpful. They've called and spoken with [protected] Reggie and Trakia both. They said they would call me (the customer) to straighten this out. Many calls to Sealy and still no call back from Reggie or Trakia. Today Sealy told me to call myself. I did. I spoke with Shakenya. (She corrected me when I called her Shakira) She worked me over on the phone until she had me very irritated then she told me that the file was notated that he had voided his warrantee and I explained that I was the mom that bought the bed. Nope – it’s voided. She refused to let me through to Trakia or Reggie. Seems that she's the hit man to keep people from getting warrantee or repairs. I think I need to pursue a lawsuit.

My husband and I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Sleepys in Manchester, CT (near babies r us). They gave us an excellent price on a specific memory foam when no other place in Manchester would budge in price. And a discount on memory foam pillows!

They DID deliver the wrong mattress! Initially we were pissed and ready to go down and yell at them... However, they were very kind and didn't make us pay anything for a switch or delivery. Every company is going to make mistakes and this company owned up to it. Because of this I'll always shop at this Sleepys!

Sleepy's Terrible service!

3 years after I bought my previous mattress which delivered its moneys worth, me & my wife decided to get another mattress. Since we both have sensitive backs we decided to purchase something that would last longer than 3 years. We went to Sleepys after trying out a few mattresses we short listed a Simons mattress for $700 with a 10 year warranty & Sealy mattress for $450 with 3 year warranty. We really liked the Simons for its feel but were hesitant because of the price tag. The salesman was all supportive of the pricier offering & said that the extra money is worth it as you will get a 10 year warranty & it will stay nice & firm for a very long time.

We order it & it arrives promptly on Jan 11th. Within few weeks the mattress started to sag & we started getting back aches. The sag was as much as the 3 yr old mattress that I owned prior to this. All this within a month of purchase!

On Feb 15th I call Sleepys & logged a complaint & I was told an inspector would come over & take a look. After numerous calls back & forth with the inspection company they show up on March 7th. I called Sleepys on March 17th & they told me that my claim is denied as the sag is not 1.5 inches. I insist that the sag is getting worse by the day & our backs are aching beyond control & I was told I can get a second opinion, but only 60 days AFTER the initial inspection! I told them that I don't want a refund, just another mattress as the sag is really hurting our backs. I was denied even that.

This is a total rip off for a mattress that they claim to have a 10 year warranty on. They sold me a defective mattress & refuse to honor their warranty. I am going to have to consult a lawyer regarding this.

NEVER EVER WILL I BUY FROM THEM AGAIN & I WILL MAKE SURE THAT I CONVINCE WHOEVER I KNOW TO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

My husband and I bought a posture temp queen bed in 2004 November. It cost 1400.00. We wanted a good mattress because my husband was going to retire soon and we wanted the mattress to last. In years, my husband's side of the bed has a big indentation over a inch and a half. Had the inspector come and he came in with 1 and 5/8th inches and then all of a sudden the company says it has to be 2 inches. What a way to do business I am surpised they are stll in business.
The mattress pad is another 65.oo rip off.
Heaven forbid you get a stain on your mattress that the pad was suppose to prevent. Thats a joke!
I think we are headed for small claims court because this is totally unaceptable business. Word of mouth is your best advertisement.
My immidiate family is 35 people and if they tell 3 people and they tell 3 people...!
That must be why sleepy's has to advertise so much on TV to get those that don't know yet and haven't been taken by sleepy's.

You would think that over the years the quality of mattresses and material would be better and easier to manufacture! Instead, the obvious is that the product is much worse.
I am sorry we did not go for the original Temperpedic designed by NASA. I heard they have no complaints on those.

OMG! I have to agree 110% Both me and my husband have been trying to fight for our warrenty for almost a year now. apparently 5/8 of and inch isnt "bad" enough for them to replace. Tell them to sleep on it and try to get out of bed with that horrible back ache! Now after we buy the $100 mattress pad and the inspector comes for the 5th time, sleepys called and said we have voided your warrenty because theres a small spot on your mattress. Called the pad company and they say well u waited to long. So now were stuck with a mattress with a big dip in the middle because i didnt realized my sons iced tea hit the mattress afterall we bought the stupid pad that was suppose to protect our warrenty if anything spilled! frustrated in CT

Sleepy's Defective mattress!

They sold us a Simmons world class super pillow top mattress with 1/3 of the top stitching missing. Over $800. They refused to deal with us because they sold us a mite cover which we put on the mattress the day we bought it and we never found the defect till 6 month later when we turned the mattress. They said our return date was up, the warranty was no good and we are stuck with the mattress! The mattress is only 8 months old now. We have been complaining with them for 2 months. So a third of the mattress is flat and the rest is high. We have to live with it for years. What a company! We ran through about 4 different people. I absolutely hate that little Sleepy's man on the sign!

I purchased a Royal Post twin set at Sleepys. At first the mattresss was comfortable. The salesman claimed it was a firm mattress, but only wt a soft cover. After sleeping on it for one night, my back was in excruiating pain. I tried to return the mattress using there 21 day return policy and learned that it can be done, but only wt a $150 return fee, & a $89.99 delivery fee. This added cost makes the mattress to costly too return, but I will probably be forced to return it. I am also worried about returning it because the tag came loose. Sleepys claims that they do not take returns /o the tag, but they are making me pay the $150 return fee, because they claim that the bed will have to be destroyed. Do theydestroy the beds, or do they resell them? Don't buy a matress from sleepys, unles you want to be ripped off.

Sleepy's Do not buy from Sleepy's!

TRUST SLEEPY'S TO REPULSE YOU

I spent $1700 and four months of my life on a single transaction with Sleepy's. I learned A) New Jersey fined this company for its business practices, B) New York state is doing the same, C) the NY BBB has a long rap sheet on Sleepy's and D) Insomnia is the product we bought from Sleepy's.

Over four months I had to badger and beg this strange company:

please deliver the bed (15 times, why didn't they deliver it (four times), why didn't they call me when they knew they couldn't deliver it (11 times), where is my refund (40 times), why does the bed have a gaping hole in it, why does it have yellow and brown stains, why does it SMELL, why did they rip off the law tag before delivery, please get this bed out of here -- it disgusts me. Can I please just have my money back?

I have photos and a video of the fine product that Sleepy's finally delivered -- three months after it was paid for in full.

Insomnia ensued for my husband and me during this time -- we were reconstructing our house after a fire -- we slept in the cellar on couches waiting for a bed that didn't repulse us.

I'm still too tired to even discuss this company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Although my story is sad, true and makes me sound like a village idiot, you're still better off trusting me -- not this disgusting company.

We bought a great bed through 1-800-mattress in Fairfield, CT.
