On 25 Sep at 6 PM My mom ordered 3 pizzas that we were taking to a "pot luck". She requested they cut the slices into 10 pieces instead of 5 and that they please cook the pizzas while she waited and not use any of the ones already sitting in the pizza warmer behind the glass. Please keep in mind she is 75 years old. The lady at the Counter told her they cannot "double cut" the pizzas for her. My mom asked why and she simply said she couldn't. I was doing some shopping while she was ordering the pizzas. When I approached my mom she was visually upset. I asked her what was wrong and she told me they would not slice the pizza's into smaller pieces. She had requested a manager to speak to and the lady said she couldn't find one and that they would just do what she requested. "it would be faster." I then saw them take a complete pizza out of the glass case and started taking it to be back to cut. I pointed it out to my mom and she interjected and told them "no". She wanted her three pizzas cooked while she waited. You could visually see the three ladies behind the counter were getting an "attitude". At that point I decided to go to the Customer Service counter and ask for "anyone in charge" the lady behind the counter said she was a lead. I told her about the situation and she was very nice. She said she would relay the information to the food court supervisor. I have been in the customer service industry for a very long time and I would only pray I could make a customer happy by cutting a pizza in to smaller pieces. But that seemed to be a little much to ask for at this local SAMs store. With all of the things stores are doing to make customers happy, shopping for them, taking the groceries to their houses etc... but "double slicing" a pizza is where SAMS draws the line? How does someone even look at a 75 year old lady and say "we cant "double slice" your pizza? I am sending this because I need to know if were just asking or expecting too much from SAMs and should see if COSCO or other pizza places in the area feel the same way. After all were not asking for them to do anything unethical, immoral or illegal. It's not even hard but some people would rater create friction than just make a customer happy. Please let me know if I'm out of line. Thank you.
Desired outcome: I would like to know if we are asking or expecting too much a customers to request fresh cooked pizzas and cut smaller than 5 pieces.
