no matches, only billing that won't stop
I've tried to cancel multiple times but it just doesn't recognize my cancelations and keeps my account active and they keep charging me. Every time I try to contact customer service it just goes back to the screen of renting or looking for a room. No one to talk to. Not accepting my cancelations. Only more charges on my account. Contacted my bank today to make a stop payment and try to get my money back.
subscription

billing
I suggest we all file a class lawsuit because this is truly a scam. 5 day trial then they charge 24.95, which is crazy cause if I remember correctly it said 7.95 a month or whatever. The app sucks anyway, its a waste of time, doesnt even promote anything well at all, and usually the other users are ghost/fake anyways, probably created by the company. dont use it if you can, stay with craigslist or even facebook market place.
billing
Hi
I have been using for roomster only short term.
I have paid for $7.95 for 5 days. Only used for the first day. Then I found out that it's the worst app I have paid for. And on the 11th of December, I have noticed they have charged me $24.95 from my bank account. There was no notification and I contacted customer service immediately . But they never refund and in fact they have been rude and slow service.
1. There was no notification about the next payment
2. The app I never used not even single time. They have no right charge.

billing
I deleted my account four days ago and the [censor] charged my account today. I already budgeted my money elsewhere, so I will probably get a $28 overdraft fee. I had to log in and create my account again just to talk to customer service since they don't have a phone number. Scammers! Just look at their BBB profile. Lots of complaints. Avoid at all costs!
my account
You have suspended my account, I do not wish to use my facebook account as it private friends and family only, I look after 48 properties in London, great seller on spareroom, if you have suspended my account so stop sending me listing which does not makes any sense and just block my email.
marcia. [protected]@yahoo.co.uk [protected] please do it with immediate effect
thanks marcia
roomster.com charged my bank months after I canceled my subscription
I signed up with your trial pass and canceled so I wouldn't get charged the monthly fee and no longer used your services after I canceled now today a whole month 2 month laters you charged my card $25 and now and my account in the negative and my rwnt is due call me immediately [protected] or via email: [protected]@gmail.com im very upset and this is a huge inconvenience to me and I need my money refunded immediately
scammers
People, this website is a total and absolute scam.
I didn't know that to talk to the third party I had to pay for the subscription. Moreover, they have lots of hidden fees and you never know when you will be charged once again. It's terrible. They probably think that having our credit card information let them rule the world.
Hard to unsubscribe, they will charge you for this too. So be careful. Don't mess with these scammers.
blocked account
Good Morning Roomster,
Back in December 2016 I accessed your site to find a room for rent and due to just opening a Facebook Account for the first time you had blocked my account. Currently my account is still block and I am looking for a new room to rent. I have had my facebook account since December 2016 and have been using it on a daily bases. Could you please review my blocked status ASAP so I can find a room for rent in the Denver area.

fraudulent room rental
There is an add "Room For Rent $500" by Clarice Artimes, Please check out her add: That want $1000.00 US deposited before you see the room or meet anyone. The $1000. must be cash the Account is with BOA (Bank of America) and appears to be an "Overseas Account". I don't know how to Attach their emails and pictures to this email or l would. I'm 66 years old, a Disabled Veteran, Partially paralyzed, Retired Sea Captain who has a very small Pension and Social Security Check and can't afford to be ripped off or scammed out what little money l do get.
Thank You,

I want a refund, will contact my bank and dispute all charges if I am not contacted and this issue resolved. The phone number listed is a joke and I want to be contacted ASAP at [protected]. I paid originally $7.99 for seven days only. Now I have the same charge for the month of august. I never authorized this payment. Your number is bad. I refuse to pay and trying to reverse payment on my credit card. Somebody better call me at [protected] or email me at [protected]@gmail.com within an hour or I am reporting this to the police for fraud/stealing.
rental ads for rooms in ft. worth
I agreed only to a 3 day trial. No one contacted me from the city, or ads thst I selected from Ft. Worth, TX., and the 2 that did, were not from Ft. Worth at all. I kept sending problem messages, and they went ahead and charged me anyway. There is no phone number in NY, and who's going to call The UK?! They never responded, and never fixed anything. Never acknowledged-but, went ahead and automatically upgraded me. They should have suggested I cancel and let me know of the auto-upgrade! What a Rip Off!
roomster still posting scam ads on craigslist
Yesterday I replied to four ads for rooms for rent and two of them were phony scam ads placed by Roomster. They send you a bit.ly or goo.gl address by text that directs you to their site to get you to sign up so they can take your money. The rooms for rent never existed. These people have no ethics. Do they have that hard of a time getting real jobs? On the Roomster site there is a link that supposedly goes to their 24/7 customer service team, but it actually goes back to the home page - in other words, nowhere. Thank God I didn't give them any money.
fraudulent charges!
I used Roomster in the past and loved everything about it.
But a lot changed in my life and I decided that it was time for me to say goodbye to Roomster.
I disabled my account and completely forgot about Roomster, until they day they charged me.
I want to remind that I was no longer Roomster user, but they still took my money (without my permission). I contacted them, but they only said sorry. Received a couple of automated replies and decided that it was faster and better to contact my bank and cancel my card.
What a scam!
these people won't stop sending me emails even after I have deleted my account!!!
Roomster is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They just won't stop sending me hundreds of emails a day! I've gone to notifications and turned it off, I Unsubscribed, every notification. But no cigar! Still they keep on sending me emails. So I finally deleted my whole account and STILL THESE SUNSA ### KEEP ON EMAILING ME THOISANDS OF TIMES 24/7! I try and contact them. Just an automated very Mexican sounding voice telling me to log in to get 24/7 representative service. They won't let you contact a rep unless you log in, so then you have to resign up with Facebook in order to get to a page where there's no number, there's no live 24/7 rep Chat, No, there's only a section you can write a complaint and email it to god knows where... where emails go to die obviously! Because no one ever answers, they completely ignore the many emails you send telling hem to screw off already and just keeeeeep on keeping on emailing ya, over and over and over and over and over and over again!...(( -_-)) >_
online subscription service
Hi,
I have not had any charges that have been an issue. However, right after my subscription expired, I received email stating that I had messages. I login and there are no messages from the people they sent to me. This happened 3-4 times which leads me to believe that this is falsely leading you back to the sight to look at messages, pay an updated subscription fee when there is no message or response.
