I was the victim of a scam where the scammers used my personal information to finance two phones and after this happened I have been trying to return these two phones for weeks and cancel these plans I haven’t signed up for. Rogers has been so unhelpful I have had to call everyday for a week to finally get a return postage. Now even after returning the phones unopened they are charging me money. Not only that I can’t even access the account that they are using to charge me as the account was set up by scammers they keep emailing me to pay a bill that I can’t access I have tried to talk to Rogers about this they have made me feel so utterly helpless. Rogers has been mentally torturing me at this point I have never felt to helpless before in my life. I had my home internet plan with them and after this I just wanted to leave but they told me since I’m under contract so I can’t leave or I have to pay. If I had known how awful Rogers treats their paying customers I never would’ve signed with Rogers. I can’t even put into words how horribly I have been treated by Rogers.
Claimed loss: $80 and my mental wellbeing hours off work I had to take to deal with this and more hours I will need to take off to resolve this issue I can’t quantify
Desired outcome: Get rid of the scam account for good. Get rid of all charges associated with that account and compensation for all the stress and mental torture Rogers has put me though
