I have a mobile connection with Rogers. I was tried to push in to a scam of selling a refurbished I phone 17 pro max mobile for a very small price, without revealing the fact that it was a refurbished handset. A spark in my head made me hold the decision not to proceed and I called the customer care. They very clearly explained what happened the previous night to me and they could see the notes written by the agent and a supervisor who tried to do the scam. After that, I very clearly explained to them that I have no more intentions to buy any phones through Rogers and declined all the proceedings of the previous night. The agent told me that everything stands cancelled, we are not selling you the phone and everything is back to normal. When I said I don't need a phone, the first agent was calling me back and saying that he is losing his job due to this, and his supervisor deducted 100 dollars from his pay. He was pleading me to take the handset. I literally had to get him away.
Now, when I received my bill for the next month, it has doubled. The cash is withdrawn too. When approached an expert at a mobile store in Atlantic Super Store, I was informed that my plan was altered to sell that refurbished hand set for the lesser price. After me rejecting the offer, they never turned back my plan to the normal prevailing one.
At this juncture I am trying to reach the customer care at 611 and sorry to say, it’s a disgrace on customer care services that I cannot reach them in multiple attempts. After answering all nonsense with AI, my call is irresponsible hung stating that we have unusual call volume today. My question is when you cannot serve your customers, why this platform functions? Be prepared and efficient enough to attend all calls reaching you call centers. Hanging customer' call is a slap on their faces, after selling your products to them.
Let us know how to reach a specialist agent? Should I take a leave for a day from work, just to reach someone in your call center? Is there someone in Rogers responsible for customer care? Why run a call center when the calls are not rightly managed? We the customers need solution to our troubles, cooked up by your staff and non streamlined and monitored services.
To conclude and to be precise, I am pushed on to a scam... I escaped... told I don't need a phone from you... meanwhile you changed my plan to a higher one... collected double the charges in the very next month... trying to reach you to correct my plan... And you guys are not reachable and is abruptly hanging my calls when trying to reach you through 611.
Worst of an experience - Will move out shortly, if not attended.
