Rogers knows full well about this fraud. Did they warn the public? That would be a great big NO!
I was caught up in a scam. I received a phone call the person said they were from Rogers they knew how long I have been with them.
I was told that I was entitled for a new phone from there company. They asked me to log into my Rogers account and order the new phone I wanted which I did they said I would receiving the phone in a week. When I received the phone I was to call them so I called them on the number that was provided to me that was a Rogers phone number.
They then asked me to log into my account and then give them the numbers that were on the box in order for me to get the free phone. There was no numbers on the box so Rogers sent me a shipping label. They asked me to send the phone back to them because the wrong phone was sent to me this was sent to me by email from Rogers. every email had Rogers on it. The email apparently according to Rogers was not from them so they say.
Now after complying to Rogers emails they now want me to pay for a phone that I don't have and to top it off they want me to send me the phone back to them even though they know where the phone was sent they want me to pay $500.00 at the end of the contract. So I'm asking the public what do they think.
Every email was labeled from Rogers. Rogers should have warned their customers about this fraud and they did not warn anyone.
So do I go to the global news to report there undue warnings? The Police are involved. I hope the Police can catch these fraud people.
Any free advice would be happily accepted.
Recommendation: Don't get your phone from Rogers! Thwy don't care about you!!
