eBay stole $7 of my money 2 years ago. I sold an item and delivered it to the USA with proof of delivery. Ebay then created some fake situation with my login stating that it wasn't me who was logging into my ebay account and demanded all kinds of documents from me, such as my passport, my driver's license, my power and water bills etc. etc. Knowing that ebay has been sued for stalking its customers I refused to provide my private documents to ebay. Their support stated that even if I don't provide the docs to ebay I will still be paid the outstanding money (just under $7), but that has never happened and it's been almost 2 years since ebay kept my money.
Recommendation: Stay away from ebay!
eBay is sending these weird messages without providing their contact info how to contact them and using abbreviations such as "Whatapps" and "DM" with which I am not familiar with.
