The seller was supposed to send me a return label and he never did. The case was open for a return and you guys in EBay closed it without resolving or sending the return label as stated you would do as this item description is wrong it does not fit the car model as the seller claims.
I applaud your lack of customer problem resolution skills and lack listening skills the problem

eBay csm / lack of legal sense/sr# [protected]

Opened an account as an extra platform for a new webshop. Building website + shopify + Amazon + adding and tuning several sm platforms took me about 6 weeks. It's time to add Ebay. Account is suspended (?)
Copy pasted 2 emails below.

I informed Ebay that I was buying and selling products from American and European suppliers. I never had an Ebay account before, never sold or bought on Ebay. Still now I am qualified as untrustful and the, legit and established, companies I buy from are qualified as a potential risk.

In particular the response from mr Trupti is flabbergasting. Outsourcing is one thing but for god's sake teach them democratic rule of law.

eBay Fraudulent Charge

Someone fraudulently used my daughters debit card to make a purchase on ebay on 9/21/2020 for $103.34. My daughters name is Tammy Sell and I am her legal guardian. The debit card is through Tri- City Bank and has been canceled. I wasn't aware of the fraudulently charge until I spoke with the bank today. The cancelled debit card number is [protected]. This is an issue for your bank to handle. If you are asking Ebay to reimburse you, well unless you can show Ebay did not process the transaction the right way they are not responsible for reimbursement. Simply you not authorizing the charges aren't enough. If they allowed the transaction to go through even though the name on the card was wrong, the expiration date was wrong, or the CVV code was wrong then you would be entitled to a reimbursement, but if all the information provided was correct then you are not entitled. Usually if you report a fraudulent charge within 30 days of the transaction the bank will reimburse you but this charge was 8 months ago. I recommend balancing your account at minimum ever 2 weeks so you can catch these issues sooner. Schools now teaches personal finance concepts as part of their curriculum which may not have been around at your time in high school, but most community college teach a 2 to 6 week course on the subject maybe worth looking into.

eBay Seller performance level

I have a store with ebay great feedback and great service. Due to the virus my performance level dropped from great to below standard. This was due to defect rate on being out of items beyond my control its a pandemic yet I was judged on this and also because I accidentally marked out of stock on a few items that buyers requested to cancel. Nevertheless, now I can't promote my store, I can't sell to overseas customers and ebay still gets their fees and charge me higher fees. This is not right and poor business. The ultimate judge is the public and I have 100 percent feedback for customers. EbaY HAS LOST THEIR WAY WITH THIS REDICULOUS NON THOUGHT OUT POLICY. I have been with ebay for 5 years and now seriously consider leaving for good. I am not happy with how I am being penalized during a pandemic when ebay states they support their sellers. I am very unhappy and have asked multiple times for ebay to assist with fixing my issues. No one seems to care. In the meantime I have lost sales continue to loose sales and continue to get charged higher fees. The seller performance does not evaluate the full picture at all. This policy will be the achilles heal of ebay because others like me 80 years old selling out of their basement will just stop selling and do a auctioneer. My feelings are conflicted with ebay. I even tried to lower my store to basic but now ebay says I will be charged additional fees. This is all about money and not people. Ironically, ebay is loosing money I have several large purchases of thousands of dollars on hold which helps ebay this is why its a stupid policy because no one wins. Attaching Gmail response: "This request is closed"

"Closed due to inactivity" is unreasonable and probably unlawful, since eBay undertakes to resolve non-delivery of items. In this case, it seems the seller can basically do nothing and let the matter run out of time.

eBay Samsung S9 cellephone

on 05-18-2021 I purchased a Samsung S9 from this company Bobcat Wireless. I printed out the advrtisment of this product and it specifically unlocked for AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. The phone I received stated I needed the Imei number to activitate my new Cricket new card. I've had AT7T for the past 26 years. As I checked my purchase records this is the same company that I purchased a Samsung Note 9 on02/22/2021 in the amount of $294.38 from Bobcat wireless and the phone wouldn't power on after being charged for 4 hours, the phone was returned and the money was never refunded to my account. the most recent purchase in the amount of $273.78. I contacted the company early this morning @ [protected] and left a message I wanted a refund on the cellphone. it suddenly came to me that this was the same company I returned their phone but I never received my refund

Desired outcome: I want a refund for the first phone in the amount of $294.38 on 02/22/2021 and $273.78 on 05/18/2021 I don't think this company should be allowed to sale on Ebay any longer. They are unethical

eBay The trash company without morals

Once upon a time Ebay was the place to go to sell and buy goods, but that's all been abandoned.

1. This company seems to fully endorse scalpers. They only care about their bottom line.
2. I even tried to purchase from these scalpers for a GPU since the market is not good. So they banned me.
3. They provided no customer support cause they really don't care about their consumers.

Ebay has become a company that only cares about their bottom line, provides no customer support, and has no morality. Supporting such a company is shame on you.

Desired outcome: None, I will not provide any business to this trash company

eBay Ebay started a problem and then left the customer hanging. Lost account.

I purchased a flash drive for my Iphone.
It would not work.
I paid to ship back and assumed refund would follow.
Ebay sent email asking if refund occurred.
I checked, it did not.
Ebay said too bad, case closed.
I closed account.
Have had friends/neighbors with similar situations, my case was low cost.
Lesson learned.
I was lucky up to today.
I will not chance luck again.
I conduct business with reputable organizations.

Desired outcome: Become a better business. Check BOTH sides before taking action, no action is pitiful. You started this problem, stirred the pot and left. Pitiful.

eBay Anubis ring egyptian ancient god biker amulet

The seller: golaago, sent this Anubus Egyptian Ancient God Biker Silver Amulet Ring to a 'neighbors' apartment.
Never produced any proof of that but stated that it is now listed as 'delivered.
He has offered all sorts of excuses and then suggested that I go to the neighboring apartment and knock on apartment doors then suggested that I did in fact receive it.
I checked with our fully staffed mail room who of course never received it.

Desired outcome: I want what I paid for and I would sincerely like the seller to be conacted and evaluate their business practices as I am sure I am not the only victim of this complete sham of so called business practices.

eBay eBay gives buyers a license to steal.

A buyer bought a brand new item in a package, then claimed it didn't work right and demanded a refund. I hate place no returns on my item page but yet Ebay is forcing me to take the item back or the buyer can keep the item and they will take the money out of my account. This amounts to nothing more than a license to steal. I am not Walmart I am a private individual selling a garage sale item. If you're buying something at eBay you take your chances. But apparently not according to their "eBay guarantee" however they do sell a product protection plan, that nobody uses because of this. I will never use Ebay again.

Desired outcome: I want my item back, then I will return the money.

eBay buyer protection

If there are rules on how a buyer is protected by the means in which they pay for an item then there should be rules in place that prevent sellers from using any other mean to collect payment that eBay cannot guarantee. absolutely heartbreaking that they say they only protect buyers if they use certain payment services but allows sellers to use other methods. seems like they are allowing people to be scammed without care. How careless of a company that is publicly traded on the stock market.

eBay Not getting the items I order

My experience of getting my order lately are not good. I have not received 2 of the items I ordered. One you did refund my money. The other is still in the process of where I do not know. I asked for a refund today 4/27/2021 and their answer is they will get me the right tracking number. I sent conformation where they sent the first one to the wrong address Corona Ca. 92881. My address is 5900 Starboard Dr. Discovery Bay, Ca. 94505 not even close. It has been too long I need this fish food. Everything I order seems to be taking to long.
You can blame it on the Pandemic but it is pretty much over. I have sold things and the people are getting my items in 3 to 4 days. I ordered the fish food April 2, 2021 I think it has been long enough. I want the food.

I was told by the seller that your company either switched my package out or someone stole it and sent the panties. Suzho_25 messaged that to me on eBay. I'm not the only one scammed

Basically let me get SCAMMED by Suzho_25 out of $102.03 for something I truly didn't receive. I'm not the only one they SCAMMED and sent a wrong item. It's basically in their feedback. Ebay choose to ignore that. Suzho_25 claimed the Jiaxing Zhenjiang logistic company switched my item or it was stolen. They are LIARS. I want my money back now. ASAP

eBay Censorship of buyer ratings and reviews

Unlike Amazon, Ebay's marketplace products and sellers have relatively few reviews and it's hard (sometimes impossible) to leave reviews on products we consumers buy or sellers we do business with. Over the past year, our family has found about half of the items we buy on Ebay don't satisfy their advertising pages' claims. Others arrive broken or with other obvious defects. Sellers typically try to get us to accept a partial refund instead of taking back their goods.

We discovered a lot of the problems were with overseas sellers so started restricting our search to US-only sellers. This didn't solve the problem because many overseas sellers use drop-shipping from US-based warehouses. Recently, we bought our fourth headphones set from an Ebay seller who within 48 hours of the headset being delivered requested a POSITIVE review from us. They claimed this helped their store grow. We politely let them know we couldn't do this because although the headset worked, the USB-C attachment did NOT.

Exactly one month to the day that we got the headset it failed. We contacted the seller but got three words back: "30 days returns." They refused to answer any further questions (we wanted to know if there was a warranty on the headphones...). So we tried to open a return with Ebay. The seller rejected it within minutes. Then we tried to leave a review about our experience. But Ebay CENSORED our review, taking it down immediately.

We've been trying to find out HOW to leave an honest, verifiable review so other shoppers like us understand 1) many of these electronic products have NO WARRANTY, so if they fail, the consumer has no recourse; 2) some sellers are requesting positive reviews immediately after product delivery before likely problems arise (skewing shoppers' expectations about quality and service of products and sellers); and 3) it appears we do NOT have 30-days to return defective electronics since this time period doesn't appear to include the transit time between ordering and delivery to consumers' homes. But no one from Ebay will return our contact requests with a VALID way to solve this issue. We were last told we needed to speak with an agent in the Defects Appeals Department, but the agent who told us this abruptly terminated our chat after promising to connect us with that department.

Desired outcome: Someone from Defects Appeals Department should contact us to let us know how we can edit our review so it posts publically.

I'm not sure if this website will allow me to share an email I recently got from Ebay's Customer Service department. Before posting here on Complaintsboard, I once again tried reaching out to Ebay. There is no way I can find to chat with representatives since my review was censored and removed. Ebay seems to remove the CHAT function from your Ebay shopping page if they feel they've already spoken with you about an issue, sending you, instead, to an ocean of unhelpful "Help" pages.

Ebay's response (I have the email for confirmation) to me: "Thanks for contacting us about the feedback you've received. I understand how frustrating it is to get negative feedback when you feel it's undeserved. I know that you want it to be removed to maintain your good selling reviews." In their reply, they forwarded their censorship policy (https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/seller-performance-policy/seller-performance-defect-removal-policy?id=4352) in which they assert:

"What kinds of defects can be removed, and how?
We automatically remove defects in certain situations, including where we find the buyer was at fault, if the problem was caused by an eBay site issue, or if there was an issue outside of your control like shipping service delays, or items being delayed because of an extreme weather event. If you've had a defect removed for any of the reasons mentioned above, please note it can take up to two days for your ratings to be adjusted."

So, an authentic buyer's review about an electronic product that failed on day 30 and a seller's refusal to answer questions about warranties constitutes a defect in which "the buyer was at fault." Ebay purposely removes legitimate buyer reviews to, by its own admission, "maintain your good selling reviews" instead of maintaining transparency and reliability in its review system. Shoppers beware.

Yes, my feedback apparently was removed. In fact they have no feedback at Limited Goods by Nathan Franco that I can see. He may be a new seller, but my feedback doesn’t show on his page after almost 12 hours. I know your frustration.

eBay Account suspension due to not providing information timely.

I have been caring for my wife for 3 years due to cancer related health issues and I just did not keep up with any eMails from eBay. I find out recently that my account was suspended because I did not provide some information. I chatted with a customer service rep (Briana) and she said I cannot reinstate my account! In today's digital age, I find that hard to believe! I'm sure all my past information is still stored somewhere and could be restored and reinstated now that I am able to turn my attention away from my wife and provide the information eBay has desperately needed. I have repeatedly attempted to get a refund on a pair of Fate Oakley sunglasses that have very damaged lenses not only with scratches but the lens coating is coming off and cloudy .
