We booked The Ramada, Abu Dhabi for dates Oct 16 to 20, 2025 well in advance (Sept 06, 2025). I also received confirmation for the same. This was via Agoda. On arrival on Oct 16th, The Ramada front desk team said they had no such booking. My complaint is about how the front desk staff and travel desk at Ramada dealt with us. We were not only denied our booking, but they also refused to give us an alternate booking, claiming the hotel was full. Imagine being stuck in a foreign country like this! The least I expected from the front desk staff was empathy, courteousness and the ability to help us shift to another hotel. This is the least I would do if I knew a guest had come to my home and I had no room. What is obvious is lack of ownership and passion starting from your front desk. We shifted to The Marriott and took our business elsewhere .. and we are never coming back to you ..
