They chage me $830US and when i realise after 10 minutes i went back but there manager says we can't take back. We don't have have any authority and which type of manager they have i email them and they just making me go round and round on email they want me to send gold back from Australia that is not possible I told them this thing again and again but they don't care.

Why didn’t your manager take gold back at store when I was there for 12+ hrs at Abu Dhabi airport I told him take the gold back he admit he miss lead us and sale gold for extra $$$ but he doesn’t have authority to take gold back.

Hi, on my flight from India to Abu Dhabi, I purchased a diamond pendant from pure gold and because I wasn't able to connect to the Internet, I asked them what the conversion price was. The pendent was 1399 and I assumed they just charged me for the pendant ( around 520+euros) and the chain, but turns out they charged me an extra 699 euros on it. And I don't know why?. Even with the VAT, or taxes nothing accounts to 50% increase of bill in mu purchase. I feel cheated and really Disappointed as i believed the sales people to be trustworthy enough. I need my money back.

I bought a diamond ring on 11th of October 2023 and a day right after my purchase I changed my mind and wanted to get another item with lower amount so they said no you can’t if you wanted to change then it has to be with the same amount of money.

I was told by the sales team in Ajman City Center Store that if it is not used then I can refund 100% and based on this I told them I want to refund, the company deducted 30% of the amount although I didn’t use the ring and it was brand new with the same packaging.

This is regarding the Pure Gold Jewelers in Abu Dhabi airport Terminal 1. Where I was travelling to Canada via Abu dhabi and purchased a necklace which is of less weight but overcharged finally. I visited the store on 8th October 2023 around 7.36AM and selected and item and meanwhile the announcement has been given for my flight and the sales lady saw my rush moment and said she will email my receipt.

Then i paid the amount said and came home later i saw i was charged 5989 AED for 10gms 21K gold.Later i mailed them for invoice and they have sent me a fraud invoice where there is no weight, karat, signatures etc. Please go through the issue and do the needful for me.

On October 6 2023,i bought earrings on Abu Dhabhi Airport. The shopkeeper sold us the product stating 9.5 + grams (by seeing the label). But in reality today after checking, it is just 4.7 grams (but we paid 679 euros) and we were purely fooled. Additionally he stated that, he will be send invoice in E-mail. But even still awaiting for the invoice from the team in email.

I would like to know,how to return this product. I am seriously dissatisfied with the product and looking for your support or refund as soon as possible.

I am skeptical about the quality of product now...

Did anyone found a solution with this retailer...?

I have been charged a lot for buying 40 grams of gold - which is the advised amount to buy duty-free from Pure Gold Jewellery.

They didn't still email me the invoice and there are a lot of Google reviews and complaints against them. I was not aware since I wanted to get my connecting flight.

I have raised a dispute about the transaction. I have been a sincere and loyal customer and I have been scammed seriously for over 22800 AED. Please help me out.

They refused to give me a receipt and invoice.

I had purchased 2 bangles from Pure Gold shop,Duty free shop,Terminal 3,inAbu Dhabi international airport on 9.8.23 I paid AED 11848 for it.They told 43 grams and no taxes & charges.I asked purchased invoice copy and they sent it to my email. I was very shocked, it shows only 21.6 grams total weight and charged 11848 AED.How did they calculate? The purchasrd invoice copy is attached for your reference. I purchased a necklace last July 30, 2023 worth 3,000 dirhams in Pure Gold Al Wahda Mall. The next day (July 31,2023) I change the item but I purchased another earing just to allow for exchange. But suddenly my mother change her mind that she wants again the first design I buy. Then I ask the sales person if its possible to exchange again since the necklaces is never used and in original package, but they refused and they said its company policy. I understand that but I noticed that the receipt is not included the weight of the gold. Today August 1,2023 I emailed the customer service of Pure Gold but refused to help me to exchange the item because they said exchange only once. I don't understand their policy coz its not written there that can exchange once only. In their policy said that within 7 days can exchange. Someone please help me for this matter.

I purchased the following bracelet from terminal -3 Abudhabi airport on 13/07/23 at 21:18

I was assured by your representative that I will be emailed an invoice on my email address which I provided but it is very un-professional that I have not been sent any invoice and hence proof of my purchase and weight of 1tola bracelet which I paid using my UK Halifax debit card ( worth £ 10555 pounds = 4999 AED . I requested twice and even went back to the store at the airport, but was assured that I will be emailed the said receipt. I could not go back the third time as my flight had to leave ! I have been scammed and I want a refund. I have been charged nearly double !

This mail is regarding a complaint for lying about the weight of the gold, charging incorrectly at Pure Gold Duty Free abudhabi Terminal 3.

I made a gold purchase at Pure Gold Abudhabhi airport duty free shop on 6th july between 9 to 10pm.

Gold chain - weight told by sales person is 27gram

Gold bracelet - weight told by sales person is 20.5gram

Together I was charged 17280AED.

I got the bills after 2 days where weight was not mentioned and after requesting them to mention it weight was mentioned like

Chain -17gram

Bracelet - 14 gram

And I weighed it at my place and it is same as mentioned here (Chain -17gram

Bracelet - 14 gram)

I was lied about the weight and As you can see in the above receipt

I was charged more for mentioned weight.

If it includes tax and making charges also I dont think making charge and tax would be 100% of gold rate.

What was the gold rate on 6th July. 2023.

If you have added making charges what is that amount?

If you have added VAT or TAX what is that amount.

You can not simply say we cant give any information just per piece we sell like that.

If you are not cheating then provide all the information.

And also I dont know the name of the sales person But he was an Indian Mallu guy

From the receipt and time you can find I guess.

This is a clear fraud just lying about the weight and not sharing the bill on spot sharing later. Is it your strategy to cheat customers?

Purchased a gold ring and gold bracelet from Pure Gold Abu Dhabi airport. The gold rate is 4times the market value. I requested immediate return and refund while I was at the airport within 30 minutes of my purchase. Initially they denied but later assured that if I email the customer care they will accept the return even if it takes more than a year. It has been only 3 days since my purchase. I want to return both the products for an entire refund. I have repeatedly emailed the customer care.

I purchased a Gold bracelet at Pure Gold jewellers at Abu Dhabi airport Terminal 1 on 13th Nov 2022. I was told it would be 25 gms and was charged $1549.21 USD (5689 UAE dirham). I was told the receipt would be sent to my email as I was in a hurry to catch the connecting flight to chennai but didn't get the receipt. I have written twice to their customer service email till now and didnt get any response. Also I got the weight checked in India and it weighs just 13 grama which is not even close to 25 grams and they have charged me almost the double amount. This is totally fraud.

Purchased the 22k neck chain on 11 July 2020 on my trip to Amsterdam (cost 1314 AED). Stored at my home until I returned to my wife in Bangkok on 24th Oct 2020. Very happy with the gift but unfortunately the lock did not work.

Stored again until we returned to Amsterdam together on 14 June 2022 (due to corona procedures) and passed by Abu Dhabi airport. Presented the chain to Pure Gold shop staff and we were informed that repair was not possible and they advised that it could be done in Netherlands with only adding a spring inside the lock.

Visit the Juwelshop in Vlaardingen and were informed that the lock COULD not be repaired and only be replaced. (cost 110 Euro). We were informed that the chain was very sensitive and to wear only on special ocasions (popcorn style). This information was new to us and I had never purchased it if had been informed by Pure Gold.

Very bad experience and service by Pure Gold and a good lesson learned to us.

I have purchased diamond ear rings from pure gold Abu Dhabi airport , it is such a scam. The studs won’t screw in and I am scared it will fall off when I wear them . They are absolutely useless to me

We have purchased 24 C gold at Abudabi airport on 11-Mar-2022 and please find invoices attached.

For two items, we have paid AED16100 which is $4384 USD using Bofa account.

Items weights are

1) 15.880 grams

2) 14.60 grams

Grams $ $ Amount

15.88 62 984.56

14.61 62 905.82

Total 1890.38

even if you take marking charges and wastage it cannot be $4384. I Clearly see you guys have charged more when passengers are in a rush to catch the connecting flights.

My ring is being cracked and need help for repair in India Pune city pls help me with your repair centre's as I tried with all the jeweller and as per them platinum can be changed or repaired only with the jeweller where you have bought the thing need to get it repaired

I have purchased a half carat ring last october at puregold yas mall. And the people there are very accommodating and their services were outstanding. So, I am satisfied with how puregold staff assisted me. I went to puregold marina mall today january 1, 2020 at 6:15pm to buy diamond earrings. But the womans service was not at all good. She was so rude and she didn't approach me to offer her assistance. She even mentioned "these are diamonds" as if I dont know. She told me the price and bangs the calculator. As if I dont have th3 decency to buy. She should be in a training on how to deal with customers
