Couture Candy Dress

Please review all of the complaints on the Better Business Bureau’s website before purchasing anything from them. I must say this is by far the worst online experience I have ever encountered. I actually had to seek legal counsel because of how my purchase was handled. Please make sure that you read all of the fine print on their website because they will try to use it against you instead of doing the right thing. On April 10, 2023 I bought a $340 dress, paid $30 for 3 day shipping, when the dress did not arrive by the expected date, I contacted customer support and was told that the order could not be cancelled but that I could return it once the dress arrived. When the dress arrived 3 days after the event, I contacted support and was issued a return reference number and sent the dress back untouched and paid an additional $30 return shipping. When the dress was noted as returned by support, they offered me a store credit. I requested a full refund based on the circumstances and was told in so many words that although I chose 3 day shipping I should have read their shipping policy that discussed processing time in a complete other section of the website. Nonetheless, I filed a dispute and PayPal and PayPal ruled in their favor because of the fine print that they referred to. I disputed again and PayPal ruled in their favor again. Here is the kicker, because I disputed the transaction a second time they charged me a 50% reactivation fee of my store credit which means I would receive a store credit of $147.18. After speaking to my lawyer he suggested I ask them to send me the dress back and call it even, they refused to send me the dress. So I basically paid for a dress that I never touched, was penalized for disputing the transaction, then was not obliged to receive the merchandise that I had already paid for. Terrible, terrible company. Please think twice before buying from them—It will be my life’s work to expose them based on the principal of the matter and terrible customer service. I will be filing a claim in smalls claims court-wasting more money to do this, posting reviews of their company wherever I am able, and I will also keep trying to get the news to investigate.

Couture Candy Disappointing Customer Service Experience with CoutureCandy: Frustration and Confusion with Order and Store Credit

I recently had an experience with CoutureCandy that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was trying to place an order using my cell phone, as I didn't have access to a computer at the time. I also had store credit that I wanted to use towards my purchase.

Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke with was not very helpful. She talked over me and seemed impatient with my questions. When I asked for help placing my order, she asked for my order number - but I hadn't placed an order yet. When I pointed this out, she told me she couldn't help me without an order number.

I then tried to explain that I had store credit on my profile, but she told me there was no credit. I was confused and frustrated, as I knew I had credit to use. She also suggested that using a phone to place an order was not a good idea, and that I should use a computer instead. But I didn't have access to a computer at the time.

When I asked if she could place the order for me, she seemed hesitant and asked if I trusted her with my personal information. This made me uncomfortable, as I didn't expect an employee to suggest that I shouldn't trust the company they work for.

Overall, I was disappointed with the customer service I received from CoutureCandy. It's frustrating to deal with people who seem to dislike their jobs and aren't willing to help customers. Couture Candy Nightmare Experience with CoutureCandy's Return Policy

My experience with CoutureCandy has been a total nightmare! Their return policy is a complete disaster. Nowadays, it's almost impossible to find the right size in stores, so we have to rely on online shopping. I purchased a dress from CoutureCandy, but unfortunately, the size chart didn't work for me. I have a larger rib cage, and there was no size mentioned for this area on their chart. It's not fair to force customers to buy a dress without trying it on first.

To make matters worse, I had to purchase two dresses to use up the store credit. When I called for assistance, the representative told me that I couldn't claim my store credit over the phone. I had to go online and then call her back to remove a special offer. This ended up costing me more money just to get my two dresses mailed to me. The representative told me that I would get my money back in 7 business days, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I still have $33.12 credit, but nothing on their site can be purchased with such a small amount. I'm frustrated that no credit will be applied to my card. I would never recommend this company to anyone shopping for a formal dress. I'll be sure to advise them that CoutureCandy is not a friendly site.

Couture Candy Misleading Advertising and Return Policies: My Experience with CoutureCandy

I am writing this review to share my experience with CoutureCandy. I recently ordered a dress from their website for a price of 680 dollars. I was really excited to receive it, but unfortunately, it took more than a month to arrive. When I finally received the dress, I was disappointed to find out that the bust size was two inches smaller than what was advertised. The small size was supposed to have a 33-inch bust, but this one only measured 30 inches. I couldn't even zip it up!

The dress was sent from Romania, and the invoice inside the package showed that it was ordered by Couture Candy for a total price of 260 EU. I highly suspect that it is not authentic. I find it hard to believe that Cristallini would make a dress that is so off in size from what they advertised.

I followed their return policy and spent another 60 dollars on FedEx to ensure that it arrived within 5 calendar days upon receipt. It was a two-day shipping because it crossed the weekend. They received it within 5 calendar days, but they only gave me 300 store credit.

I found it frustrating that they hide their return policies from the first level menu. They also told me that if I didn't send them the claim within 24 hours upon receipt, then there was no way to get my money back. I think this is unfair, and I am not happy with the way they handled my return.

Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with CoutureCandy. I feel like they misled me with their advertising and return policies. I am considering filing a class lawsuit against them, and I would welcome anyone who would like to join me.

Couture Candy Disappointing Experience with CoutureCandy: Delayed Delivery, Poor Customer Service, and No Refund

I wouldn't recommend buying from CoutureCandy. They kept telling me that my MOB dress was on its way until just 4 days before the wedding. Then they told me that they had mixed up my order with someone else's and that my dress wasn't actually on its way. Two days before the wedding, they said that my dress had been stuck in customs for 2 weeks and that it wouldn't make it to me in time for the event. I begged for help for 3 weeks before the wedding, but they didn't offer any solutions and didn't seem to care about the stress they were causing me and my family. What should have been a happy time was ruined by the fact that I had to find a dress at the last minute and pay another company for overnight shipping and a $250 rush fee for alterations.

To make matters worse, CoutureCandy refused to give me a refund unless I paid a 25% restocking fee. Why should I be penalized for their mistake? I wish I had read the reviews before buying from this company. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should have been honest with me about where my dress was and offered some kind of solution. They could have found my dress at another shop or found one that was comparable to it.

If you're thinking about buying from CoutureCandy, I would advise you to read the reviews first. Don't take a chance on your product not arriving in time for your special day. It's not worth the stress and disappointment.

Couture Candy Terrible Experience with CoutureCandy: Defective Dress, No Refund, Only Store Credit with Expiration Date

Took my daughter shopping and she was so excited, she found her prom dress. She tried it on, it fit perfectly, problem was it was the wrong color, so we found the correct color online. I am always skeptical about ordering online but because she had already tried this same dress on in a different store, I figured we should be just fine, everything should fit. She received her dress a week later, and upon trying it on, found that it was too small, AND the slit that should run up her left thigh, was running up the center. It was NOTHING like the dress she tried on. When i called to complain, I'm told even though this is not my error, I have to pay for the dress anyway. They will not return it for a refund, I can have store credit though. I'm certainly not going to buy this dress from you again, the first one was defective. Not only that, but I have to pay for shipping to return this one. And what burns me the most, even though I spent $550 on a defective dress that you won't give me a refund for, only store credit, the store credit is only good for 6 months. SIX MONTHS! What kind of bull crap is that? So now since I don't want your defective prom dress, you are going to keep my money if I don't find anything else that I like. What a joke! If i could give you zero stars, I would because in my eyes, this company is not worth it!

Couture Candy CoutureCandy's Return Policy is Unfair and Preposterous - A Warning to Shoppers

Yo, listen up! I gotta tell ya about my experience with CoutureCandy. So, I bought this sick gown for my son's wedding, but when I got it, it just wasn't my vibe, ya know? So, I tried to return it, but let me tell ya, it was a whole ordeal. First off, they don't pay for return shipping, which is whack, but I could deal with it. But get this, they only allow UPS or FEDEX returns, which is way more expensive than USPS. I had to pay $84 to return a $480 dress! And that's not even the worst part. They require all these photos of the dress and the box it came in, and you gotta do it all within 5 days of getting this RMS number. And if you used a coupon code, they charge a 20% restocking fee and don't even give you a refund. They only offer store credit, which is useless to me since I don't live near a Couture Candy store (do they even have physical stores?). So now I'm stuck with a $384 store credit and no dress. Don't make the same mistake I did, fam. This return policy is straight up preposterous and unfair.

Couture Candy Buyer Beware: My Experience with CoutureCandy

Before you buy anything from CoutureCandy, make sure you read the fine print. Stick with brands that you know will fit, especially with any final sale gowns. They don't give much grace if the description or measurements are inaccurate. It's the "customer's fault" and you "agreed to the terms and conditions." They don't care about repeat customers and make you feel like they're doing you a huge favor in helping you. At least there was some help available, but you end up paying for the "help" with strings attached to your store credit. Store credit deducts from your amount to qualify for free shipping, so unless you're buying a dress that's $250 over what your store credit is, expect to pay shipping. That's in addition to the shipping you pay to return any gowns, which is standard for many companies.

If you're okay with keeping a dress that might have any issues, then they have some great deals. But the great deals are no longer worth it for the drama in dealing with damaged dresses or inaccurate descriptions. They will give you an alterations credit for any damaged gowns, but it's such a small amount that it doesn't cover the cost to repair the gowns or replace beading. Plus you're buying the dresses sight unseen since this is purely an online store. It might be easier to go to a reputable store if you're expecting to pay a lot for a dress.

I've purchased from this store three times and I will never shop here again. It's just not worth the hassle. The customer service is not great and they don't seem to care about their customers. If you're looking for a dress, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Couture Candy Not Impressed with CoutureCandy: Sketchy Policies and Poor Service

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with CoutureCandy. It seems like they're more interested in trapping customers than actually providing good service. Their policies are pretty sketchy, and they'll use them to keep your money no matter what. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

So, I ordered a dress from them, but it didn't fit. I had to send it back within five days, and I had to pay for shipping myself. Then, when I got my store credit, I had to pay for shipping again when I ordered a new dress. Even though I had store credit left over, they wouldn't let me use it to cover the shipping cost. And to top it all off, the dress I got with my store credit can't be returned, so I'm stuck with it no matter what.

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever shop here again. There are so many other companies out there that make shopping online easy and hassle-free. CoutureCandy needs to step up their game if they want to compete. I'm planning on leaving bad reviews everywhere I can, just to warn other people.

I do have another dress on the way, so maybe they'll surprise me and actually provide good service this time. But as of right now, I'm definitely not on Team CoutureCandy.

Couture Candy Frustrating Experience with CoutureCandy: Rigid Policies and Poor Customer Service

So, I had a bit of a frustrating experience with CoutureCandy. I had a store credit of $474.37 that expired 15 days ago, and I didn't realize it until it was too late. I called to see if I could get an extension on the credit, but unfortunately, they couldn't do that. However, they did offer to reactivate my credit for me, but there was a 50% reactivation fee. I asked to speak to a supervisor, hoping they could waive the fee since it was my first time shopping with them.

The supervisor told me that he could send an email stating that there would be a 50% reactivation fee, and I would have to respond and agree to be charged before they could send a request to the Accounting Department. Even then, there was no guarantee that the request would be approved. I asked him to pass my message along to higher management and wait for a response, but he seemed to think I was rejecting their offer to reactivate my credit.

I spent about an hour on the phone with them, trying to explain that the policy seemed a bit rigid and unfair. I mean, it was only 15 days past the expiration date, and it's not like the credit went bad or anything. But the supervisor couldn't really say anything about it, and I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Overall, I don't think I'll be shopping at CoutureCandy again. Their policies seem designed to take advantage of customers who might lose track of their store credits, and the customer service experience left a lot to be desired. Plus, their return policy is pretty strict, and I ended up paying $120 just to return a dress and get the store credit in the first place.

So, if you're looking for a more customer-friendly shopping experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Couture Candy CoutureCandy Review: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and a Total Scam!

This store, CoutureCandy, is a total scam! I thought I was getting a great deal on a dress, but it turned out to be a nightmare. First of all, their website said that my order had been fulfilled and sent to UPS, but when I checked with UPS, they had no record of it. Then, the store told me there was a delay with the shipping and my item's expected arrival day was delayed without any compensation. Later, they told me that the item was out of stock, even though their website still showed it as available. I found out that this is a common tactic they use to scam customers into buying full-price items.

When I tried to follow up on my order, I was given the runaround. I explicitly said that I did not want to cancel my order, but they refunded me anyway without any explanation. I tried emailing them multiple times, but they ignored me and even called me when I told them I couldn't talk on the phone. When I finally got through to customer service, they were rude and unhelpful. They denied that I had been given the option to not cancel my order and even lied about the availability of the item in another size.

I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. They are dishonest, rude, and unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.

Couture Candy CoutureCandy Review: Unfair Return Policy and Hidden Fees

Yo, listen up! I gotta tell you about my experience with CoutureCandy. Lemme tell ya, it was not a good one. I thought I found the perfect dress on their website, but when it arrived it just wasn't what I was expecting. So, I tried to return it. That's when the real trouble started.

First off, they make you jump through all these hoops just to apply for a return. You gotta take pictures of the dress with the labels on and fill out all this paperwork. Then, you gotta send it back at your own expense. No return label, no nothing. And even if you do all that, they only give you store credit. What if I don't want store credit? Well, then they hit you with a 25% restocking fee, a $10 handling fee, and a $90 freight fee. Are you kidding me? I already paid to send the dress back!

I gotta say, this is not how any other company does returns. It's completely unfair and just plain wrong. I mean, online shopping is supposed to make our lives easier, not harder. So, do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Couture Candy Nightmare Return Policy: My Experience with CoutureCandy

I had a terrible experience with CoutureCandy. Their return policy is so complicated that it's almost impossible to return anything. If you don't return the item within 5 days, they charge you a 20% late fee. And even if you do return it on time, you have to email them to request a return and wait for them to respond with instructions.

The instructions they give you are ridiculous. First of all, they don't provide a return label, so you have to pay for expedited shipping to make one. Then, you have to write the RA and order number on the box in big letters and take a picture of it to send to them. If you don't do this, they won't accept the return.

But that's not all. You also have to take pictures of the dress (front and back) and the return label (front and back) and send them in an email. If you don't do this, they won't accept the return either. It's like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible for you to return anything.

And if you don't want to deal with all of this, they offer "free alterations" as a way to opt out of returning the item. But who knows if the alterations will actually be done correctly?

Overall, I would not recommend ordering from CoutureCandy. Their return policy is a nightmare and they make it almost impossible to return anything. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

Couture Candy CoutureCandy Review: Poor Quality Dresses and Complicated Return Process

I recently purchased a dress from CoutureCandy for my daughter's XV celebration. I opted for a size small as I am petite, but unfortunately, the dress did not fit me properly. The fabric was also extremely hard and had lots of glitter that easily came off. I didn't even bother trying it on completely as it was impossible to fit into.

To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, I was informed that I had to pay for the shipping again, which cost me $20 flls for FedEx. After waiting for two weeks, I was finally informed that my return was accepted, but they would be deducting a 20% restocking fee, which I found to be ridiculous.

I then asked for a refund on my card, and they agreed to it, but with an additional 25% extra charging fees, which I had no idea about. In total, I only received $154 dlls back from the $256 that I paid, plus the shipping and handling fees of $40 dlls, which left me with less money in my pocket.

Overall, I found my experience with CoutureCandy to be a total waste of time and money. The dresses are of poor quality, and the return process is complicated and expensive. I would not recommend this website to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy online shopping experience.

Couture Candy Be cautious when ordering from CoutureCandy: Our experience with returns and customer service

So, we had a bit of a rough time with CoutureCandy. We ordered a dress and unfortunately, it didn't fit quite right. We followed all the return policy instructions and paid almost $100 to quickly ship it back. But then, we got an email saying that the dress was returned in bad condition and we wouldn't be able to exchange it. We were really careful with the dress, so we were pretty upset about this. We tried to get in touch with customer support, but it took a while to get through to someone who could help us. Finally, we talked to a supervisor and they agreed to review the situation. Luckily, they found that the dress was actually in good condition and we were able to get store credit to order the larger size. But then, when we went to checkout, we were charged an extra $44.90 for a handling fee. We weren't too happy about that, but we just wanted to get the dress in the right size.

Overall, we would say that if you're thinking about ordering from CoutureCandy, just be really careful. If you think there's any chance that you might need to return or exchange something, make sure you read the return policy really carefully and take pictures of everything before you send it back. Couture Candy Disappointing Customer Service and Return Policy at CoutureCandy: A Review

I recently ordered from CoutureCandy and received my package in just one day! However, when I tried on the dress, it didn't fit quite right. I immediately reached out to their Customer Service team via email, as stated on their website. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response from them for five whole days! I even left three voice mails at the phone number they provided, but still no response.

Feeling frustrated, I had no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company. It wasn't until then that I finally heard back from CoutureCandy's Customer Service team. They instructed me to send the dress back at my own expense via FedEx with a Required Signature. On top of that, I had to take eight photos of the dress to document that it was in the same condition as when I received it, with tags still attached.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the poor Customer Service and horrible return policy procedures at CoutureCandy. I don't think I'll be shopping there again. If they really want to provide good service, they should take a page out of Dillard's book. Dillard's shopping experience is exemplary and shows how every company should take care of and value their customers. After all, customers are the reason for a company's existence.

Couture Candy Couture Candy Review: Terrible Customer Service and Inconsistent Measurements

I bought a dress from Couture Candy for a whopping $750 and was very disappointed with my purchase. The dress arrived with measurements that were inconsistent with the ones provided online. This made it impossible for me to wear the dress as it did not fit me at all. To make matters worse, I had to pay for the shipping to return the dress. If I didn't return the dress within 14 days, I would not be able to make the return at all. This was very frustrating for me as a customer.

The customer service at Couture Candy was terrible. They did not seem to care about my concerns and were not willing to help me find a solution. It was clear that they only cared about their brand and not about their customers. I also had a hard time getting in touch with them as their customer service reps were not based in the United States. Their email responses were filled with grammatical errors which made it even harder to communicate with them.

If you are looking to buy a dress for a special occasion, I would not recommend Couture Candy. Their customer service is terrible and they do not seem to care about their customers. I would give them a 10/10 for being the worst company I have ever dealt with. I will never buy anything from them again and I would advise others to do the same.

Couture Candy Nightmare Return Process: Avoid CoutureCandy at All Costs

Don't even think about buying from CoutureCandy. Their return process is a complete nightmare. When you send back an item, they'll send you a confusing message about how much you'll get back, which is way less than what you paid. And get this: you can only get store credit or nothing at all. I tried to dispute it with Paypal, but they didn't help at all. In fact, they made things worse by telling CoutureCandy about the dispute. And then CoutureCandy punished me by taking away my store credit. That's not how you treat customers! I've been trying to get my money back since September 13th, 2021, and it's now January 17th, 2022. I've tried to contact them multiple times, but they just ignore me. They have my money and my returned item, and I still haven't gotten my $480 back. Don't waste your time with these dishonest people. Go to Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, or any other store that actually cares about their customers.

Couture Candy Unhappy with CoutureCandy: Poor Customer Service and Unfair Return Policy

Yo, listen up! I gotta tell you about my experience with CoutureCandy. So, I was browsing their website and I found these two dresses that I just had to have. They were already made and being sold, so I thought it would be a quick and easy purchase. But boy, was I wrong!

I received my package on Thursday evening, but I wasn't able to try on the clothes until Friday night. When I realized that they didn't fit me right, I immediately tried to contact CoutureCandy for a return. But guess what? No one got back to me until 1pm on Saturday, when all the mailing offices were closed. And get this, they told me that if I mailed the clothes back after Monday, I would forfeit 20% of my money. What kind of nonsense is that? Don't they know that most stores are closed by 1 or 2pm on Saturdays? And where I live, there are Blue laws that prevent me from mailing anything on Sundays. So, if I don't mail the clothes back on Monday, I'll lose some of my money? That's just ridiculous!

But wait, there's more! If I'm so unhappy with them and I want my money back, they'll take 25% of my total cost! Can you believe that? What a rip off! I'm telling you, don't ever buy from CoutureCandy. You'll regret it, trust me.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience with CoutureCandy. They claim to offer money back when you don't like your items, but that's only if it's custom made for you. If it's already made and being sold, they'll take some or all of your money. That's just not fair. And their customer service is terrible. It took them forever to get back to me and they weren't even helpful when they did. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
