I bought a 5gm gold coin from PureGold at Abu Dhabi International Airport, I trusted that at an airport there would not be daytime robbery but PureGold has disappointed me. The price I was charged was almost 3 times more than the market price! I was running late for my flight, still I asked the lady why it was so expensive and she said it was certification. What certification costs more than the gold itself? She was rushing me and lied to me about the market prices. I have not received a reply from PureGold and I would complain to higher authorities if this does not get resolved.
5 gm gold coin price on the day of the purchase (13/6/2026) : AED 2542, (598 euros)
The amount I was charged by PureGold: AED 6249 almost 1470 Euros. I demand a refund of my extra amount!

Desired outcome: Refund of the extra charged amount approximately Euros: 875
