THIS IS A RIP OFF. I wish that I had found reviews before I tried to purchase a book from here. This is a rip off. I ordered a book to be downloaded and followed the instructions. The book never downloaded. PSI says that it will not refund any once it downloads. I called tech support and got bounced around for hours. The tech support guy after doing a remote look on my desk top verified that there was no download, and promised to have it sent again. I waited a day and called them back – now I have four ticket numbers. Again, spent four hours and three people that I talked to. After 45 min on hold I gave up. I foolishly ordered the book again (I really needed it) thinking that maybe I did something wrong. Still the same result – no download. I don’t hardly ever do reviews, but I am so mad at this. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A BOOK FROM THIS PLACE. I am hoping that their testing is better than this as I have to take a test through them.

PSI Exam
I was supposed to take a retake of the CO Broker Exam and when I logged in to do so, the system prompted me to retake the National Exam which I passed in Sept of 2022. There was no way to proceed unless i wanted to take an extra test, and when I tried to follow up with PSI to adjust this they told me there was no workaround and I'd have to schedule a new test and pay the fee again. I am shocked and outraged that their system is too unsophisticated to know that people don't want to retake extra exams that they've already passed, and that when there are issues there is zero ability to use common sense to get people scheduled to take the exams they need to take. The customer service is abominable - waiting 45 min to talk to a representative that has no ability to do anything other than verify your information (10 minutes) and pass you off to another representative that is equally unhelpful. when i mentioned I would have no choice but to dispute the charge for the untaken test with my credit card company I was told that i could do so, but would never be eligible to take another test with PSI if I did. Blatant bullying, intimidation and consumer fraud.
How the government can partner with such an unethical and unsophisticated testing agency is beyond my ability to comprehend.
Desired outcome: Schedule the CO State Broker exam ASAP without making me pay another fee.

I am extremely disappointed in PSI about my test Score Report. After passing the Real Estate Broker's Exam, I have waited 12 days and I haven't received my score sheet. I have spoken with not a few CS representatives and they did nothing. A particular CS rep said she will make an order for the score sheet of both State and National parts of the exam because I haven't received any and I will get it in the email on Thursday Jan 26, 2023 but it never came. On, Jan 31, 2023, Ruth Edwardson who is supposed to be a supervisor of score results unit cannot tell me when I will get my Score Sheet after ten days of waiting. She told me very coldly that there is nothing she can do. Every CS representative I spoke with all verified my email address, telephone number, candidate ID number, date that I sat the exam, etc every time I called but they did nothing. And because I don't have the Score Report, I cannot apply for my Broker's License. This is really very sad and simply means PSI is unreliable. Every time you call, I am made to wait for hours before a CS rep picks up the phone. Its appalling.

I am extremely frustrated. I took my Affiliate Real Estate Broker Exams last Weds. and passed the state but needed to retake the Federal portion. I went in to reschedule my Federal Exam and there are no appointments available for 30 days. I have spoken with over 7 customer service reps who just kept transferring me back into the main customer service line every time I asked to speak with a manager. They stated I must wait 30 days, and this is not the instruction on their bulletin or with the State of Tennessee. The second attempt you are able to take the exam after 24 hrs of the first attempt. I have called numerous times, did the online chat and emailed. No one has been able to assist me.

Test denial
I’m at the testing center and have an issue. I took the test on Monday and didn’t pass. Today I’m taking the retest and the testing center won’t allow me to take it. I was told to call the 800 number. I’m currently on hold and have been for 20 mins missing my test. I’m very upset.
I was divorced on 1/5/2023. My school and my account are in my maiden name (Fernett) since it was legally changed with the courts. I got my final judgment of divorce last week and brought it with me to Monday 1/20/23 test date. Along with my birth certificate. I was told I could take the test then but if I didn’t pass, I would have to come back with an updated driver’s license or social security card.
I went to the DMV yesterday and the social security office. My name is now changed with EVERYTHING having to do with the state of NJ. The courts, dmv and social security. Both places gave me a print out showing I changed it, however nothing is printing on the spot. The DMV, ever since Covid, stopped printing IDs. I explained this to the testing center who didn’t believe me that the DMV wouldn’t have given me a new picture ID. The paper states Interim drivers license and that my picture ID will arrive within 20 days in the mail. The social security office gave me paperwork as well. That says it will arrive in 2 weeks.
I was told by the testing center that I’m just going to have to wait 20 days. This is completely unfair. I was already allowed to take the test on Monday and had I passed, I would have the license. I just finished the course and spent hours studying. The information is fresh in my mind and I’m not be allowed the chance to retake the test. I will have an unfair disadvantage having to wait nearly a month to retake it.
I spent a lot of money on the course and now on 2 tests. Im very very upset and need someone to call me back to help me.

PSI candidate support services
I tried to schedule the CBMT music therapy examination. The website is broken, and the link you click to find information about scheduling your exam just takes you back to the home page, instead of showing you exam info. This is a huge problem as you are supposed to be able to schedule your exam online. I called multiple times over the course of 2 days and spent roughly 7 hours speaking with people and sitting on hold. The people I spoke with clearly did not know what exam I was talking about and tried to tell me I needed to create a CBMT account. You are not able to create a PSI account until CBMT approves you, so this is something I had already done. Multiple times someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up without speaking a word to me. This service wasted so much of my time and caused me incredible stress around starting my career. This is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: Please fix your website and make sure your workers are familiar with the procedures for each exam.

I was directed by instructed to call into testing center for Military Discount code process. I was connected to Deborah who asked me to take a photo of my ID and send to an email she wasn’t sure of and who would receive it. I shared with her that I couldn’t do that unless the email was a secured email and I knew who would be receiving it.
Deborah responded and stated “DO YOU WANT THE DISCOUNT OR NOT”. I cut her off to inform her that for security purposes I wouldn’t do that. She begin to fuss about if I want the discount or not and just send it. I then asked for higher support and she had more smart remarks.
Deborah should be coached on her entitled behavior and that her job is to support clients. Not to go on rampage about what she dislikes about the military and discounts.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a follow up email or call in regards to poor customer service.
California General Contractor Test
I purchased the practice test questions from PSI. The most you available. I took the test today and failed. Lowest score. None of the questions were relevant. I question the integrity of the exam. Are you failing people purposely to make money and steal money for fake prep material? Could you please provide your fail to pass rate since taken over California? Something on your end is broken. Unprofessional proctor with/ bad attitude...
The psi proctor failed me intentionally! I have no doubt that I was graded and judged unfairly! It's really a slap in the face to attend one of the top beauty schools in the world and be insulted as if I don't know what I'm doing!
On this past Tuesday I took my cosmetology practical in Ga at the Smyrna location. After reading the horrific reviews that basically warned me, I scheduled at this location because it wasn't far from my home. Biggest mistake and I wholeheartedly regret it. I never imagined I'd experience what I did. When I took the first part of my test at another location, the psi staff was nice to me and welcoming. I passed on the first attempt. However, on Tuesday the energy was cold and evil. I felt it as soon as I walked in. I checked in 15 mins early! As soon as I walked in the room she yelled at me! She came in the hall, told me some guidelines with such a nasty disposition. I realized I'd be testing alone. Ok cool! The entire test she made sighing noises. She reminded me that she was ready to go the entire time. She didn't check half of the stuff I did. She made me feel as if I was wasting her time. On sections that I KNOW I did correctly, she gave me a B. Nothing was good enough for her. No matter how good I did it. She failed me... I felt like she'd fail me before I even started. I doubt PSI is going to do anything about it because I'm not the first person this has happened to so I'm spreading the word!
Test results
i would like my exam results reviewed i fill there was an error or the practice test, gmettrix platform and your available for purchase items need to be reviewed. i studied all materials training and testing modes. I'm just having a hard time accepting these results. i just want to be able to provide for my family and be a better productive member of society. being a certified electrician was my means to do so but im lost please give it a second look.
Desired outcome: review the results if there are discrepancies adjust or allow to retake before 60 days to meet my requirements for job offer

Proctor
At 2:30 I was scheduled to take my Exam; I have studied a week for it and took the day off work for it today; It is now 5:30, and I haven’t been able to take the test! For starters, PSI never sent me a link for the a exam; so after 20 minutes on hold, I was finally able to begin the process… 30 minutes late. Neither of my brand new cameras have any problems whatsoever, yet your Proctor couldn’t verify the expiration date on my license (your system is bad). So after multiple customer service calls, I had to re-download everything onto my laptop because that camera seemed to work better with your less-than-adequate system. Then the next Proctor wanted me to do a 360 around the room, which I did 3 times before your system crashed; 30 minutes later I attempted to get back in and after 30 more minutes a Proctor FINALLY got done verifying my photo ID and Selfie pic, and as I began doing his 360-turn again, he STILL couldn’t see everything he “needed”to see! So I cursed out loud… in my own him… now 2.5 hours after I was scheduled to take the exam, and the Proctor had the Gaul to threaten to kick me out for cussing (I didn’t even know he could hear me!… he hadn’t even responded to me for a half hour). And then… your terrible system crashed again. Here I sit… 45 minutes later, and have waited 30 minutes for the Proctor to get done verifying me! He won’t respond to my chats; it’s 5:45… I have been scheduled to take this exam for over a week now… at 2:30! I’m 40 years old. I don’t believe I have EVER experienced such an amateur, broken system as PSI. It’s PATHETIC… from your terrible customer service call center, to your HORRIFIC Proctors, as well as your pathetic lack of organization and communication. I have literally received 6 different Ticket Numbers, and STILL have little hope of being able to take this test today… and you’ll almost certainly try to charge me for a reschedule. This is just UNREAL… if only you had any competition, this abuse of your PAYING CUSTOMERS wouldn’t stand for a minute.

VA sales person real estate licensing exam
When I went to take my RE exam in the Ashburn, VA location (44075 Pipeline plaza, No. 115) I called ahead and asked if the location provided study rooms. The woman I spoke to said yes it would be $25 and to pay when I arrived. When I got there she said she remembered speaking with me and she had a room available. I went to give her my debit card and she said she could not accept it. She then proceeded to tell me the only way I could get the study room was if I ran to the other side of the parking lot In the cold and got her a $30 Starbucks gift card with a receipt for proof. I was so distraught and upset that she was being so forward and pushy that I did it. She then put me in a room that seemed to be the employee lounge with opened food laying around and a computer that barley worked. I was so upset and confused that I didn’t even get to study because I was having so much anxiety. Then when I go to take my test she starts arguing with two ladies who are loudly on the phone and walking around the testing center disrupting everyone. She let them carry on and everyone was clearly bothered by it. Between that and her loud rudeness towards everyone I was very tempted to go home because I knew there was no way I could excel in such an environment but was told I would not be able to get a refund. So I took the test. And obviously failed the large National portion (I didn’t even answer all the questions I ran out of time because of so many interruptions that I had to guess on a few) I was so upset. I was put in a very unfair position. Then when I left she told me to make sure when I come back that I “bring her very nice gifts and she will give me the special treatment again” I obviously did not go back but I am still so upset by the whole scenario.
I retook the test in the Harrisonburg location days later and was in a very quite and professional environment and passed with ease, because I was treated fairly and like a paying customer.
I would like my money back for the first incident because I fully believe I would have passed if I was treated fairly. It was not fair to me at all.

BSIS Firearms Assessment
Went online to schedule an appointment to take my exam to have my gun license and I am beyond disappointed by the lack of help I have received regarding this matter. My card was charged $130. Called customer service for help and was on the line 20mins with someone who didnt know how to do his job and magically the phone disconnected. Then I call again and have been on hold for 30mins. At this point I don't even want to take the exam. Terrible customer service! Highly disappointing. I am a single mother. I cant afford $130 being withdrawn out of my account before christmas. Money being taken out of my childs mouth for services I never have/or will not receive. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Unprofessional and careless to the veterans
This is so unprofessional. I’ve mailed my DD-214 and VA disability letter over 3 months ago. I’ve called multiple times and was told it was processing. Now I’m being told my forms never arrived. Also that I need to email my documents. Which I have done and still have not heard anything back regarding my testing score. This is very unprofessional on the testing company side. There should be more care and consideration for the consumers and veterans.

It's been almost 30 days since I've taken all 5 of my paper-based tests. All 5 were mailed at the same time. Only 4 of them have been scored. I keep being told that it's a website issue and they will work on it. This is very frustrating! Please help me get my score so that I can start my schooling in early January 2023.

The protector who came to watch me spent 20 minutes just to watch my room and asked me for a lot illogical and repeatable things just to watch the room
and I informed him that sense as I am 56 years old and not looking for cheating.
He opened the test session at 11:26 AM and the test finished at 2:00 PM
so not completed 3 hours also I did not do the part two of test for state test.
you can review the chat to make sure I am saying that correctly because they claimed that they finished the test at 2:24.
I wasted my time , three days off my work to study and do the test,
and at the end I did not completed the test ,
who is in charge of this , while I spent one our with the support and technical to solve the issue and finally they said we have to escalate and investigate

Test results was never emailed
I took the online NY Health Insurance exam on November 14th, 2022 and as of today I haven't received my test results. I've been calling them twice a week since the day of my exam and no one has been able to help me get them. According to them, they already emailed me my results and have been emailing them on several occasions ever since which is a lie, and I know for a fact that there isn't any issues with my gmail account. I've also made sure that they're not been sent to my spam box and also confirmed with a customer service assistant that the email that they have from me is correct. To top it all, after reading other people's reviews it seems that I am not the only person having this same issue. I'm extremely frustrated because my career was jeopardized because of how irresponsible and unprofessional this company is. Their customers service is just the worst; it sounds like their employees are all reading the same script and are simply useless and simply don't care about their client's concern. They told me that my case have been "escalated" (whatever that means) and that I should receive an email within 3-5 business days but this never happens. They are also unable to transfer me to any other department that can actually assist me with this. I just can't believe that after putting my trust and expending my money with this company they are allowed to do this to their clients and get away with it. All the complaints that other clients are giving about this company are 100% true because I am going through the exact same frustration and disappointment as they are.

Veterans preference points
I took my GA salesperson Exam and missed it by 1 point luckily I’m a veteran who served in a time of war. So my awesome examiner told me I could apply for veterans preference points it would only take a couple weeks to get them. Not a big deal it’s a few weeks; unknown to me I call psi to mail in my exam and all paperwork they ask for I’m told 8-10 weeks. Here we are a little over 10 weeks and still have not received anything. I’ve called and inquired since week 8. On 11/22 I’m told I would receive an email from escalations department here we are 11/23 and still nothing so I call. The phone call last 30 minutes to only go to a voice mail. PSI just doesn’t care about it’s veterans and the best part my representative said I’m the 3rd person she’s talked to about the issue.
still cant send a mesage still. Complaint Boards is still not allowing or down. Ive called PSI again today 12/1 and now the rep that I spoke with is saying they never received anything. PSI is terrible, I have to send an original exam again with my DD 4/1. How can I send an original exam when ive already sent it out. Now to mention the DD4/1 enlistment contract that has my personal information on there they have now lost. So i have to send all this info again with the information I no longer posses. Never again will I recommend PSI to anyone nor will I take an exam through them agian.
You send a message saying please provide us. What am I providing. Week 11 no luck with call backs or emails. I’ve called 3x in two weeks and get the same answer.
I’m dealing with the exact issue. There should be an organization to help veterans with these issues or an actually bet in the company to take care of the veterans issues
I called the GREC for GA and they said keep calling and getting in touch with PSI. I finally got a hold of them and they say they received what i've sent in. Except since it's outsourced all the foreigners are so indoctrinated with what they have to say it's not getting resolved. I also sent a message the Better Business Bureau and theyve been getting me responses as a mediator so PSI now has until Jan 12th to provide a resolution and response.
Exactly, no response or clear answer at all, going on 2 years. in the meantime submitted again and again wait then in 10 weeks you will call and have to submit info again starting the process over and over and over. this issue can be easily resolved with documentation stating PSI recieved info and that its being processed in the 10 week guideline. good luck veterans pay discounted fee ive asked about such issue and never received discount or points.
It’s to long, I’ve already moved and will take the exam in a new state as a regular person without any discount or points for military. I’ve gotten better results and responses being a regular person rather than a Soldier.
Terrible information in the testing emails
After spending roughly 18 months and 9 submissions to PSI, they finally did their job and acceptable my paperwork.
All emails once my test was scheduled said NO PERSONAL ITEMS ALLOWED IN THE TESTING CENTER. I took this to mean anything as I figured a personal code book could have the answers squirreled away.
I show up, and the last asked if I had any books. Uhhhh, no I don’t. So, on a code based exam, I failed because I had no reference to what I needed to pass the test.
Would not recommend PSI even if it was the only option. I would recommend changing fields before testing with them.

Veterans Preference Points
I took my test 9 weeks ago for the GA Brokers exam, missed it by 2 points and wanted to use my Veterans Pref points, I have called about 5 times just to get a status of my veterans points being added, my last time calling was today with no resolve, it has to be a better way to treat everyone along with veterans, this system is broken. I am ok with outsourcing if the needs can still be met, often there is a language barrier with the representative on the PSI end. I was told that my issue would be escalated to the back end and I would receive an email or phone call, 3 weeks later here I am. This process is very frustrating and unprofessional, all I want is my license.
Desired outcome: I just want my brokers license.

Phone call representative
One star is too high! 11/7/22 late at night, Had a fatal emergency in the family and needed to reschedule an exam at the last second, had a representative, an older black man for the Ohio real estate exam, laugh at me when I asked him to talk to a manager, and told me if there’s anyone doing calling and talking to a manager it’s you, completely insensitive, a complete joke for Psi. Get some better workers, that are not terrible like that. Such a bad taste in my mouth. As I spent the entire night in the hospital with my dad, and the representative laughed at me. And told me to get lost basically. Incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Pathetic
