There's a girl I've been observing at Pep for the past 5months, I live in Sandton and I always drive to Wynberg Alexandra Pep Home @ Pan African mall for My shopping since we don't have one in Sandton city...

Her name is Tlhogi but I call her Clhoe since I cannot pronounce her name so we'll... She such a lady extremely fluent in English so well mannered and warm ,always smiling and professional, she goes way out of her line of her duty to ensure that I find what I need' her Customer service is out of this world, she is really an asset to the company and I hope you realise what a jewel you have in her.. When I get to the shop I' always need to be served by her...Shopping there over festive season was such a Joy, I therefore request the CEO of Pep to make her an

Pep Stores C number payment refused

at around 12 pm i entered pep cell store at palm springs mall to collect money through c number.a lady by the name laila refused to give me the money.she said i must buy airtime before she can give me money.i asked her if its the company policy to buy airtime before you got your money she said its the companies way of doing things.i left the store and went to pep clothing at palm springs to ask if its a must that i must buy airtime before getting my money.at pep store clothing a lady that i asked said its not how pep operates. i am asking the company make a follow up on my complaint and i need a feed back.my contacts are [protected]

Pep Stores Cellphone

I bought a phone at Pep cell Jubilee Mall. The handset has problems with network,it has a radio shshsh sound when I am on a call and the battery dies fast.I bought it on the 14th December 2023 then returned it on the 16th

of the same month and the cashier refused to take it back saying that they have alot of complaints from their workshop saying they take phones that are not faulty to them.She doesn't see a problem with the phone and she cannot take it back.

Desired outcome: I want another phone or my money back.

Pep Stores Service

I am 9 months pregnant almost due I had to stand the line despite me pleading to the staff that I wasn't feeling well as we speak now I'm not feeling well at all coz I had to stand a line for more than 15 mins with 2 cashiers...I asked a girl named Marcia for help she acted as if she did not see me...their service is very poor ...if you are pregnant don't go to Pep in Roodepoort you will stand a full line

Pep Stores Stylo arctic cell phone

The cell phone was bought at pep cell in Claremont Cape Town on the 5th September 2023. after two weeks i noticed that it would just switch off by itself, but thought i might have accidentally done it. then on the first sun in November after a short run in the suburbs with my phone, i found that it had again switched off this time it wouldn't start up again, i tried charging it, perhaps the battery was flat but it still wouldn't switch on.

i returned it to the store, explained what had happened, also said that i am unemployed, started something small at home, but the phone is my source of income, i was told it would take 2 to 3 months..

i followed up on this twice already , each time they do not know what i am talking about. yesterday i called the store, had to explain everything again, the manager said she will call be back in a few min, she never did

Claimed loss: a daily income on average of about R145

Desired outcome: i would like a new phone asap so that i generate some income againi would like part of that income i lost to be put towards a better phone

Pep Stores Stylo air smartphone

I bought the STYLO AIR "smartphone" from the PEP Home at Ridgeview Shopping Centre (Shop 1, Ridgeview Shopping Centre, 200 Ouklip Rd, Helderkruin, Johannesburg, 1724) about 2 months ago.

It specifies that this smartphone has 2GB of RAM but is the slowest and most unreliable smartphone I have ever owned! I have an old Samsung smartphone with 1.5GB of RAM which runs faster than the STYLO AIR.

Yes, the STYLO AIR is a budget smartphone, however, with 2GB of RAM it should run smoothly and not as slow as it does.

I hoped that a software update would solve this problem but this STYLO AIR smartphone is up to date and still operates very slowly.

I would like a refund as this STYLO AIR smartphone does not operate as fast as a smartphone with 2GB of RAM should.

I am going back to the PEP Home at Ridgeview Shopping Centre as soon as they open this morning at 9 am to get a refund and I really hope that I am refunded.

Claimed loss: R899.00

Pep Stores Stylo atlas phone

This phone is absolute [censored] even as I am typing right now it's jamming

1. Speaker doesn't work properly and is choppy when I play music I literally have to restart the whole phone and even that doesn't work sometimes.

2. Fingerprint sensor isn't working: A few weeks ago my fingerprint sensor was working but but now it's not, I tried removing my current fingerprint but as soon as I did that the fingerprint setting completely disappeared from my phone I tried everything even factory reseting the phone but still nothing

3. Overall the phone itself if is a piece of [censored] because whenever I turn on my data or when I receive a notification it starts lagging and freezing up and the it's not compatible with a lot of apps which is very annoying and it doesn't have important features like display over other apps

PLEASE PEP STOP SELLING THIS [censored]

Desired outcome: To fix my fingerprint sensor

Pep Stores Incorrect pricing and poor service

Pep at malvern jules, the service I got from asanda and her manager lindiwe/lindelwa was the worse... 1stly the cable that I wanted to buy had wrong pricing actually all of the pricing was faulty, they couldn't apologize all they did was to give me a attitude I asked the cashier asanda what's her managers name and surname did she not give me a dirty look and said "she doesn't know... Whose fault is it if the pricing says r49,99 then you get to the till the price goes up... Am I the one who has to make sure that products are priced correctly?

I still want that cable that I saw saying r49,99.

Pep Stores PEP Courier service

I am Olga Mkhize, the Author of 2 Books. I use PEP Courier to send books to my readers all over the country.

Today the 24th October around 9:30am I went to PEP store Diepkloof Square to courier three parcels. They said they don't have the plastics for R60 and suggested that I go to PEP Cell.

At PEP CELL I paid R180 and the lady asked for my ID book. I told her I don't have it with me, but I'll write it down for her. She said she has to scan it. I said this is not the first time I courier books, and most of the time I don't have my ID book with me, and I get assisted. She said she is not going to assist me without an ID, an argument between us ensued. What surprised me is that she had the odesity to argue with me and raise her voice telling me "NO ID, NO Courier.

She said i must go back home and get that ID. I said home is very far and I cannot come back today. I asked to speak to her senior, she went to the back and got on a call for about 3 minutes, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Then she handed the phone to me and a lady who called herself Simunye was even more rude. She said they can't help me, and I will only get my refund in 14 days if I don't want to go home to get the ID. I insisted on getting my refund and they gave it to me. I'm upset because they really spoiled my day with their stinking attitude.

Is this how PEP Cell Store Diepkloof square treats customers? Are they allowed to talk back and raise their voices to customers? Are they allowed to threaten that if they don't get what they want the customer will get a refund in 14 days? The service at that store left bitter taste on my mouth. Clearly there's a gap in Customer service training. These two ladies lacked empathy and refused to listen to my frustration actively. never again will i take my business to PEP Courrier, I will use PUDO from now on. I will never recommend that store to anyone.

I felt like I am not valued as a customer. These two ladies have just placed the store and brand as such under reputational risk

Pep Stores Stylo inkulu pro

I bought that phone on the second of October 2022 and a week later it fell off and the screen got damaged and they couldn't help me because I damaged it myself... Well I asked them to take it back I'll pay repair costs and they refused still. It's been a year now and there LCD for STYLO INKULU PRO still unavailable on the market. Lost My R1599 here

Pep Stores Laybye sent to the floor

Made a laybye that expired the 3 October 23, was unable to make the payment online as that's not an option and I attempted to make a payment at a different store as it is closer to my place of work only to be told they unable to accept and I should make the payment at the store the laybye was made.

today the 2nd September, I went to get the laybye at the store, intending to pay the full outstanding balance, to be told that my laybye was sent back to the floor, without any warning, staff unsympathetic and very unhelpful, this is the worst experience at pep. Was told I can have a look on th floor for my items.

Im having a problem with pep dobsonville point.
Ive send my daughter to buy yesterday with R100.
They punched R50 and they gave her change of R50.
Now today when i go and ask them they gave me attitude and tell me that they cant help me cause the person who did that is not at work
Im asking my self a question that am i the first or they keep on doing this to our kids

Pep Stores Manager and stuff missing from my parcel

I went to pep maarl mall about 2months ago to send a parcel when it arrived 2items were missing, went back back to the store the manager gave me an attitude and told me she packed everything but when she was busy packing some of the stuff fell,guys I am so tired because of writing because I have been sending emails for the past 2months,all I get a ticket has been opened after that the ticket is closed without any resolution, not even a call from pep to resolve this issue been complaining about poor service still nothing is done so disappointed that I am loosing stuff just like that ,that's my money I worked hard for it now all I get is funny looks when I go to the store because I complained

Pep Stores Cellphone repairs

I bought Samsung A3 after 3 months it stopped working and i took it back to the PEP CELL branch i bought it. I was told it will take 35 working days to repair it. i think this is not a right at all especially to a poor customer who needs to be in touch looking for opportunities all the time. so by telling me 35 working days to repair are you telling me i should buy a new phone? This is not fair at all

Pep Stores Alexandra Joburg (Refuse for a refund over a freezing phone)

I bought a phone at pep cell Alexandra Joburg. Samsung A04 it was R2300 on the 2nd of this month. the phone starterd freezing the screen. I went to the store on the 18th to get a refund mind u it's only been 16 days when I first went to the store I stood there for hours n no one was willing to give me my money back. I'm 7 months pregnant with complications n I stay alone, what if something happens n there's no need around n the phone freeze when I want to use it. the cashier said I must cal the customer care line coz she need authorization code to refund me. I did, but customer care line said it's the Area Manager who have Authorization code n can help me. he/she was unreachable that day n have to come back yesterday, yesterday again no one wants to help me even the Manager n they call the Area manager, she refuse to refund me. I don't have other phone to use for emergency when I give this one away to checked. I just want my money back. phone have no physical damage whatsoever I just want my money back but they all done want to help me. it's not fair it's not even 17 days I have this phone. The customer service there it's terrible very terrible. I even cried to the manager he didn't care let alone the Area manager. My bp went high I'll never forget this. I just want my money back. it's so stressful to have a phone like this while I know my situation.

Pep Stores Pep customer care

Good day

This is a complaint against the Pep Clothing Store at Promenade Mall.

Firstly I want to say when I do my shopping I have my 2 sons with me aged 2 and 4 years old, I am a single parent so whenever I do anything really I have my sons with me.

Their has been various occasions where I was told I cannot enter with a trolley into the Pep Clothing Store. They have made it a rule, as all customers seems to know about this.

The problem is shopping with 2 toddlers without a trolley or prams is a complete disaster. If I am not able to keep my sons in the trolley I won't be able to get any shopping done.

The manager of the store has denied me into the store unless I leave my trolley outside. At this point my trolley had grocery bags in and my sons were in it. For me to take out all my shopping and see that my 2sons don't disappear in the store, whilst trying to shop for winter clothing - I'm sure you can imagine that mess.

I want to ask that this idiotic rule that was made by this store (Pep Promenade Mall) to be ceased. I seldomnly shop without my sons because I want to try the clothes and shoes before I buy it besides the fact of me being a single parent - I mostly have no choice but to take them with me. The trolley keeps them contained and I can still get shopping done.

For the store to not allow customers to enter with their trolleys is not only killing the customer experience but I'm sure it's affecting sales.
