Passport Office review: passport delay 61

Dear Sir,

My name is prem shankar tripathi, I had applied my passport on 18-01-2008, from Lucknow but till now I am not receive my passport, and also on internet the status of my application is not updated. So kindly provide the status of my passport application form .

i have been applied for pass port from last 1year 2 times all information gathering have been done but i coul not get my pass port

I Sachin Tandon have applied for my passport on 12/7/06,it's has been more than 1.5 years and i have not recived my passsporti applied at lucknw passport office my file is A-074802 ,when i had applied for my passport after that there was a police enquiry and also the enquiry from LIU but after many days i again re-enquired when i did not recive my passport,i went to the passport office, lucknow where i was told to submit an affidavit for my present address,where i was carrying out my studies,in delhi, i submitted an affidavit,after some days i agin re-enquired on the website then the website was showing the file no is incorrct or information not avilbale,i even have proofs of what i have snd through speed post,after mailing at the delhi office there was a re-enquiry at my place both from Local police station and from LIU,after that re-enquiry i again did not recive my passport,i called up at the pasport office in delhi,where i was asked to FAX the whole story to the delhi office,after i some days i re-enquired where SURPRISINGLY i was being told to FAX again after that i AGAIN FAXED the whole story but sorry to say i have still not recived my passport.

I have applied for my passport in September 2007.
and I also confirmed from the SP office of Gorakhpur district that my police report has been sent to Lucknow passport office.but on internet there it is written "Police Report has not been received." since 3 month ago.
And 2nd problem is that My full Name is "Abhijeet Kumar" In my receipt of passport submit it is Abhijeet Kumar.
But on internet Its written as "Abhijeet Singh "
ie.There should be "KUMAR" At place of "SINGH".

I have also written in Grievances for so many times but no action has been taken.
now its 5 month to complete And I haven't received my passport please do inquiry for it as soon as possible .

I applied for passport in 24th of aug 2007
(File No.-lkoA12780507). A police inquiry and the L.I.U. inquiry was conducted, and its all clear. I saw in website was told that the police report is clearer and passport will be dispatched on... date. But again after some days it says that due to some unavoidable circumstances the dispatched of passport is delayed and it will be dispatched in a weeks time. Since last 2.5 months I am getting the same update on the website. I don't know what are the problems are arising in dispatching the passport?
i request you, please look into the matter.

officer, i have submitted my form in oct 06. all investigation/inquiery has been done. but i dont understand what the hell is happening at ur office. almost two yrs are over but ur website show same massage-- due to unavoidable circumstances ur pasport is not dispached and it will be dispached within weeks time. i want to know that your so called weeks time contains how many years. worst most experience to deal with lucknow office. why there is so much delay.i think its because ihave not taken any help from agent? is it or not. god knows better.

My parents and my brother has applied for passport in April 2007, though the update says it is July. My mother and brother have received their passports in September. I appreciate quick work of your office. However my father's passport has not been dispatched. i have been checking for update for more than twenty days. I noticed that your office updates the information every few days, but it seems that they change only date. Everytime i check for update it says, "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time." I have been reading this message for last three weeks. I dont understand what are these unavoidable circumstances for three weeks. The thing is that because of the uncertainty of passport, i have to postpone my wedding date for three times. Without parents presence i can not have my wedding, and they need their passport to attend my wedding because i live in Thailand.
I would be very thankful, if SIR, pls check what is the problem and dispatch the passport as soon as possible. The file reference number is A094762-07.

My self Sunil kumar, working in Tanzania (S. Africa). My wife RUPALI SACHAN applied for a passport in 07 June 2007 at your passport office in Lucknow and was registered under file no. LKOA [protected]. A police enquiry and L.I.U. enquiry was conducted on July. After that she visited the passport office and putted urgency document. Then she made many attempt. passport officer found L.I.U. has left to fill one column in report. Therefore, she putted affidavit application to send back the report to L.I.U. again she visited passport office, there computer showing report dispatched. But, our L.I.U. office and SP crime office, so far did not received any report. She putted reminder by taking L.I.U. office not received remark to passport office to resend the report for L.I.U. verification.

She has made many attempt from Kanpur to passport office in last 4 months, but, work is not moving and no one from office cooperate enough. It is necessary to inform you that she is madly waiting for passport to make her journey to abroad. Hence, I shall be grateful if you would kindly inform me of the status of passport and suggest what to do and whether you will be in a position to issue the same or not.

I had applied for passport before two month still till date no inquiry has been came nor I get other information about its processing. Now situation is.. I have got a job in Riyadh as a Account officer and they asking for submitting the passport and other details as early as possible. Though I have completed other documents but delaying in pass port. i applied for my pass port in june 2007 .all my verifications are done . my passport was to come by 14 th september but today is 18th and there is no sign of it .
