LuLu Hypermarket - Dates

We bought premium dates (mariyam dates) from lulu hypermarket festival plaza dubai and they were very bad quality.. the price of the kg is 30 aed as an offer but half of the kg was containing insects and worms.. very bad quality! We throw it..you should improve the quality of food and control it even when they are on promotions.. never buy such things again

LuLu Hypermarket - Customer Service

I'm writing this to make the LuLu Management aware of the extremely poor customer service at the Department Stores in LuLu Hypermarket in Ajman, Al Bustan.

Today's experience (26/April/2021, 23:25) was one of the few bad experience I had in the Department Store (2nd Floor). Despite previous bad experiences, I still continue to visit LuLu due to my Mother's emotional attachment to the LuLu group since she spent a good part of her life here in the United Arab Emirates and she always like to stop at LuLu. She still accompanies us in our shopping and insists on going to LuLu.

Today we were here to purchase a 60x60 Gas Burner. As there were not much options available in the display, we checked with the Merchandiser if there were more Gas Burners available. He just replied by saying "We have more Gas Burners, but those are not available for display". There was absolutely no effort on his part to explain us about the Burners available in store. And we just left really disappointed, and really didn't bother to ask him to explain us about the Burners available in store coz I believe that it is his job to do so.

The disappointment is due to the fact that we were at Nesto Hypermarket and almost chose a Gas Burner until my Mother interfered and insisted on visiting LuLu to buy it. I tried to explain her about my previous experience in the LuLu Stores, but she refused. And we came to LuLu to experience this situation where the Merchandiser had absolutely no interest in Customer.

Previous experiences includes lack of Customer service in Electronics section when we were here to purchase a Tower Fan. Another time for a Washing Machine and again once in the Foot Wear section. I made an immediate complaint earlier on the same day when I came to purchase a Footwear and unfortunately, no response.

I'm not writing this hoping to have a positive result, but at least to make aware the management about "My" experiences.

Kindly train the Employees. It's so pathetic to waste our time to come for a shopping in LuLu. All my first visits to purchase electronics was at LuLu due to my Mother's love for the LuLu, unfortunately with no result. And then we shop at Nesto immediately after leaving LuLu and we are a happy customer there. Please train your Employees to serve a customer like how the Nesto Merchandisers are keen on selling their products. It's a shame on LuLu Management despite such a huge reputation.

LuLu Hypermarket - Missing product from order

One of the items ordered online was not delivered. Many of the fruit items delivered were moldy and had to be disposed of as well.
I contacted the delivery driver and customer service about the missing item but have not had the item delivered or the money for the item refunded.

I have now sent another email to Lulu regarding the issue and hope to hear back from them.

LuLu Hypermarket - Decayed Food Items

This is not the first time, I have experienced decayed food item from LULU, we have purchased Bikaji Dry Kachori box with manufacturing date of 09th Nov 2020 having expiry of 08th August 2021, item purchased on 02nd April 2021

Since the item is well within the consumption date, still we found all kachoris having fungus inside and this is not the first time earlier also same thing has happened quite number of times

LuLu Hypermarket - Lenovo laptop - Warranty started 4 months before purchase date

Dear sir/Madam,

I purchased lenovo laptop from Lulu Hypermarket, Dajeej on 02nd Aug, 2020, with one year warranty, My laptop camera had an issue and I went to Lenovo service center on 03 April, 2021, they denied service stating that laptop's one year warranty ended on 31 March, 2021, as Warranty start from 01 April, 2020.

This shows that the warranty started 4 months before I purchased the laptop.? Kindly investigate and provide me solution as soon as possible.

Please find attached email reply from service center & invoice copy and service center report attached as proof.

LuLu Hypermarket - Defective rice cooker

Had a really bad experience buying online as the rice cooker delivered is physically damaged then replaced with worst damaged that could burn a flat. It has been 2months already still no replacement and customer service always said that they already forwarded to concern department.
I will never buy online from this store again, Carrefour items are much way better.
You should check your items before delivering it as it is a waste of my money and time for making follow-ups.

LuLu Hypermarket - I bought Shoe Rack

Dear Lulu Team,

I would like to bring into your notice that I have experienced pathetic service from your team Stadium branch. We bought a Shoe Rack on 26th March (Friday) and we were promissed that we will receive it max by Monday or Tuesday next week. However we are on Thursday today 1st April but still not received any call or my order. There is a Customer service guy called Nijas who always says he will call but he never did and he confirmed I will receive my order as it's already out for delivery in next half an hour and that he said at 7:30 pm in the evening then I waited for 1 hour and I called again then another guy picked up and his name was Abdur Rehman he said I have no idea about ur order and I will check and I will call you back. Then I told him your previous colleague already mentioned that it's out for delivery. I asked for Store Manager then he gave me a number of Satish I called him as well he said I will check and update u then i asked him please give me the number of driver and he provided the same. Later I called driver and asked when are you coming for delivery then he confirmed he doesn't have my order.

So at the end I just want say it feels like I am trapped in some kind of game which is unending.

I hope any of your department head read this and check with these guys personally why are they deminig LULU brand when it comes to an commitment. Again please dont misquote me that I want problem for any of your staff but yes approach is super casual.

It was my first and last experience and in future I wont even think to buy any stuff from LuLu which requires delivery service.

LuLu Hypermarket - Customer Service

This happened today evening when I was about to redeemy Sabb points and decided to go to a supermarket specifically LULU RIYADH AVENUE MALL BRANCH RIYADH KSA. As I asked assistant to their customer service they told me that I have to log on now tru online to redeem my points. I dont know how to do this because last time they will just swipe the card and khalas! I asked assistant to one of there customer service and he did the thing. Asked me to download Sabbnet mobile app. Log in my account and he do some clicking options and so ford. He told me I will received 2 emails for confirmation and the 2nd email will have the barcode where I can use to purchase. But unfortunately after I finished buying stuffs and about to pay the cashhier man told me that my barcode is not under LULU is from other company - STRAZPLAY. I went back to the customer service and asked why I cannot used my Sabbnet points and what is about the other company. They told me its mistakenly selected by the one who registered it and that's the problem. They did asked other guys to try to scan the barcode and same thing appearing that it is not for lulu discount code. I waited for 3-4hrs until they were about to close before 12midnight but nothing has been happened. They asked me to do email and contact customer service as if someone will answer at that moment 10-1130pm. They asked to try to send email and everything. Asked me to try to check and go to the bank if I have time as If I have time Ive told them and the points will expire today 31st of March. I would like to know how cam I wave to cancel this useless points if i will not ise it to avail in Starzplay or nothing else than supermarket. Pls enlighten me.

LuLu Hypermarket - hisense TV 65 U80Q

Dear Sirs,

I have purchased a 65 inch hisense 65U8QF TV from Lulu, Ruwais Mall, Ruwais on 23rd March pertaining receipt No. 6942147457740. TV having default Picture jurging and motion blur problem. It problem occurred again and again. It also puts badly effects on eyes and you cannot watch the TV continuously. I am totally unsatisfied and exchange with other company TV.Yesterday I bring back the TV on the same store but there response is not good. Customer care staff trying to prove me layer and wrong instead help me. I will request you please look into the matter seriously and resolve my issue.

Your kind cooperation and understanding of my viewpoint will be highly appreciated.

LuLu Hypermarket - Always sanitary pads

The price is different from flyers promotion its 14.25 and price in the counter 21.55. How it happen? Actually its not only 1st time, it happen 3 times already. Mostly price is different from flyers to actual price in counter. Need to double check everytime before it launch the flyers and should be item is available. Because i experience also 1st&2nd day of promotion item not available. Hoping someone will take action for this. I know, its very small amount.

LuLu Hypermarket - Wagon r trolley bag

I have purchased WagnR trolley bag from Lulu Hypermarket, Gusais on 06-Mar-2021 and travel to Cochin on 16-03-2021 and hand carrying strap broken while taking luggage from Taxi to Sharjah Airport.
It is due to bag quality of strap used .

Cost of Trolley was Dhs.199/- . I am not going back to UAE. If possible arrange bag replacement at Lulu Hyper market - Cochin

LuLu Hypermarket - I am complaining about the security guard of the lulu jubail

Today 15 march 2021 between 12:40 to 12:55 pm. I went to Lulu Hypermarket in Jubail City Saudi Arabia and the guard ask about the tawakalna and I show him and I do my temperature check also but he insisted me to do it again because he was playing game on his mobile however I did it again and I ask him its ok now and he replied to me in a very rude behavior...

LuLu Hypermarket - Store employees follow me around and constantly harass me

I mostly shop every Saturday at Lulu's in Salmiya Kuwait going on 2 years. The store employees constantly harass me or follow me around as if I am stealing! I have never stolen before and will never steal but I am going to stop giving my money and be followed around like this! I even tip the guys that bag my groceries! Is it because of the color of my skin? They are HORRIBLE!

Desired outcome: Stop stereotyping people because of the color of their skin! Let people shop in peace!

LuLu Hypermarket - Braun FP 3132 Food processor

I purchased a Braun food processor (FP3132) on 23.02.2012 from LULU HM LLC, QUSAIS AL NAHDA 1 NEXT TO STADIUM METRO STATIONAL QUSAIS 1 Nonetheless, the performance is not good which the Lulu sales representative explained. So now, I would like to change the same with any other good brand. Am staying in Abu Dhabi, for this reason, I tried to connect with lulu customer care quite a lot of times, But no response from anyone. Simply transferring my calls.

It's not ringing and during call voice is not coming to me since 03 days and I went to lulu market at wtc and I request to replace or check mobile but receptionist said I have to send customer service
If I will give for 21 days what I will use beacuse there is 02 sim inside the mobile

WE Purchased Lenovo Laptop from you at Jeddah, your receipt No.38103358904 dated 21-06-2019, Laptop was not functioning well,
Lullu asked to give to BAT service Centre at Jeddah,
Regarding under warranty repair Job No. 0005141867 BAT Service Center at Jeddah pending for last 3 months, I am sorry to contact you after losing my all patience.
I am hearing same story from Nowsath and Ahmed that part is arriving, when part comes, '' Lenovo sent wrong part''. Today I tried to Meet with Mr. Basheer BAT GM but he was absent as always.
We are observing the worst after Sales services from your Jeddah Service station,
Pls. either provide us replacement or return our full payment.

LuLu Hypermarket - Unprofessional Customer Service

It was my first visit to LuLu Avenues in Muscat and i had a the moment where i have decided i will never step back in again to it. The issue started when i have asked the customer service desk at the exit after i have done my shopping (bikes accessories), asked them about an item and the lady made her calls to say yes they have it in that section, pointing straight. When i went to them they said no its at the other section pointing to another place where i went again and searched then asked and he asked me to go back to the first section and check there again! Well, i did that and there they again sent me to the second section ! After more than 35 mins of wasting my time i went back to the service desk and asked the lady to get me the "bike car bracket" to the reception instead me going all over the place and there was the shock. "Sorry sir the guy gave me wrong information, it is out of stock"! Simply wasting my time and energy then saying sorry its wrong information! When i was feeling really angry about it she asked the guy who provided wrong information to come to the reception and then they said "Ooh, he is new to the place"! Seriously!? That wasn't the end of story, as they called the floor manager and he came in then did some calls and told me "it is out of stock, see i have solved your issue"! WTH, they are careless, irresponsible and not up to customer service level. I have the names if you feel that customer time and efforts are not valuable for you, then you may ignore this issue else call me for details. (96892633332)
