Boscov's Department Store My new favorite!

Just began ordering from Boscov's and I'm in love! Merchandise is high quality, but the customer service and shipping takes the cake! Very fast from online order to delivery. Items are packed with utmost care! I love that this retailer so obviously cares for their customers that I will be back often! Thank you Boscov's!

Boscov's Department Store I discovered Boscovs a couple of years ago. It is now my go-to store for almost everything!

Sick of the "Mart" store? Go to Boscov's. I am addicted to their curtain department! Huge selection! Cheap prices make it a winner! I am always surprised that the store is no mobbed! It has high-end and economy choices for everything! A big and tall shop for men that can't be beat! And did I mention the prices? Unbelievable. The only "department" that is not represented is hardware and tools. Furniture and mattresses, clothes and shoes. And did I mention curtains? GO THERE! You will not be disappointed! I am a retiree and my only regret is that they are not closer

Boscov's Department Store Boscov's does it all wrong, worse than Southwest and Concast combined- better off flushing your $

I shopped at Boscov's for the first time this July and have had nothing but problems with them since, 2.5 weeks and no resolution yet.
First they fished around in my bank account by placing a hold in the ammount of $600 for items that had already been charged to my account but not shipped. I called to have them remove the illegitimate charge & it was a nightmare. It took 2 hours, 6 discourteous, unhelpful and ill-natured customer "service" reps, 3 disconnects( i was told by Felix their phones are rigged to hang up on ppl after 10 minutes, rather evasive, imo) and a rude email telling me to contact my bank if i need further assistance understanding the holds procedure.
A few days later my merchandise began to arrive in deplorable condition.
Items were carelessly thrown in bags and dumped in boxes. They placed a pair of shoes-completely unwrapped on top of lingerie-also completely unwrapped-in a bag in a loosely packed box and shipped it across the country! The lingerie was pulled and snagged and certainly not in new condition. A pair of shoes arrived with debris on the upper and signs of wear & tear on the sole-they appear to have been worn & are also not in new condition. Many other items appeared to have been worn(showed signs of filth such as foul aromas and smears)and returned. In fact, the only merchandise from Boscov's that arrived in new and acceptable condition were 4 pairs of men's pajamas, still in their factory packaging
I thought I was ordering merchandise and paying for it to be delivered to my home in perfect condition. That did not happen.
As it turns out, I payed for:
1. The inconvenience and waste of time and money spending 2 hours on the phone babysitting rude & unhelpful staff while they fix Boscov's accounting mistakes
2. The inconvenience of photographing and documenting their shoddy, careless packaging and the damaged merchandise it produced
3. The inconvenience and waste of time sending 9(!)emails (including photos and explanations) in total so far without achieving resolution. Their best offer is "send it back, we will refund you when we get our merch back. Boscov's wants to blame UPS so they can avoid losing $. Macy's on the other hand offered an immediate replacement at no extra charge or further inconvenience to me. I received an email confirming this within moments & my replacement will be here in 3 days. All they required from me was to " please safely dispose of damaged items".

On October 24, 2021 my husband and I purchased a *** mattress from salesperson, *** at Boscov's. During our conversation, I asked *** if our old mattress that was a *** bed would be removed. *** reassured us that our old mattress would be removed because it was not a water bed, and that is the only mattress that Boscov's would not take. Prior to finalizing the sale, I asked again "are you sure they will remove our old mattress, and that we will not have any problems?" Once again, *** reassured us that it would be removed. However, on the 6th of November when our new mattress was delivered the two delivery guys refused to remove the old mattress. Stating that "Boscov's does not accept Sleep Number beds." I explained that we were reassured that they would take this mattress, and the one delivery guy just walked away as I was mid way through my sentence, and the other one that stayed behind to get the signature on the paperwork shrugged his shoulders and stated "we don't accept them." However on the paperwork it is indicated "removal of box spring & mattress if haul away service is indicated." I pointed this out to the delivery person and he simply repeated "Boscov's does not take *** beds." I feel that Boscov's has two separate rules the salesperson reassuring you that an item will be removed and presenting it as part of the service and sale. Then delivery people having their own set of rules and refusing to honor the policy of removal. No where on my paper work is it indicated that my old bedding would not be removed. These delivery guys left me with an added expense of $50.00 that I had to pay a scrapper to remove the old bedding. When I was told that my old bedding would be removed by Boscov's. This is a switch and bait gimmick being done by Boscov's sales staff and delivery staff. I want the $50.00 I had to pay extra reimbursed by Boscov's, and also have this company HONOR what they say at time of sale!

I would like to file complaint. My mother brought me a gift card for Christmas and gave it to me last month i am trying to order item and it was not working. I called the balance toll free number and it says it cannot progress. I do not think cashier actives the card right. I have enclosed images

I would like to make complaint regards to Boscov's Order:[protected]. I placed order on April 4/12/2022. i ordered *** Tray Stripe 3pc. Comforter Set and ***? Mattress Protector. Two items shipped in different boxes. they shipped both packages out that day and i got the protector not the comforter set. On 4/12/2022 it said on *** tracking i would have this by Friday April 15, 2022. On Friday the *** tracking showed it was still in PA and i would have it by Sunday April 17 ,2022. Last night April 17 *** changed the tracking status to Scheduled delivery: Pending. The shipment of my package stopped. I talked to *** from Boscovs live chat and she said this is not lost and i would have to wait 10 more days to file complaint with Boscovs. I do not live far from NORTHAMPTON, PA to Walden NY only 2 hours so i should of gotten it next day. Boscov's as of yesterday, 4/22/22, took out of my checking account double the payment due for this month. As a result I have a negative balance and nothing left to pay my other bills. I was told that it will take three to five days for the money to be put back in my checking account. This is not at acceptable because I need the money now. The error was on their part and it should be resolved immediately because this has caused an overdraft in my checking account and I have nothing left. I intend to close my Boscov's account and possibly file for bankruptcy because of this huge error on their part. I would like to see this issue resolved immediately!

I had purchased 2 pocketbooks from Boscovs in Wilmington, Delaware within the last month and both of them were defective. I took one back already and now I have to take the other one back as well. They were $24.99 each and they were both defective which is unacceptable. I thought Boscovs sold quality merchandise but I have since changed my mind.

Boscov's Department Store For Christmas a couple loves to shop for our daughters

For Christmas a couple loves to shop for our daughters. This year they couldn't because the wife had back surgery so she purchased two- $150 gift cards to Boscov's and asked me to do the shopping for her. Three days ago I put in a big online purchase of 24 items. I put the two gift cards in and hit complete purchase. There was an issue with my billing address. I thought it was due to the fact that I was only using gift cards, so there wasn't anything to verify my address with (like a debit card). So, I added an extra item and put the order thru again, this time putting the two gift cards thru, plus my debit card thinking there would not be issues with my billing address now. There was still an issue with my billing address. I called the number they provided. The number said they would have someone call back within 24 hours. No one did. No one called back in that 24 hours or the following 24 hours either. In the meantime, numerous sales items in my cart were disappearing because they were selling out. I was becoming very frustrated. I originally had 24 items in my cart. After continuously having to replace items that were selling out to others, I now only had 16 because I had to replace them with more expensive ones. It's been 3 days. I've spoken with Boscov's associates from my local Boscov's in Erie, Pa and I've spoken to associates in the credit department and although they have tried to help me, all 6-9 associates that I have spoken with could not help because they all said that only one line of associates can help and no one (including the Boscov's associates) can get thru to that line. I was finally just going to give in and go to the store to shop although I really don't want to and shouldn't because I am high risk but now I can't because both my gift card balances read zero. I have tried to find out if there is an online order out there somewhere that partially went thru with my gift cards but no one will get back to me. I even emailed them. So now, I have no online order, I have $300 in gift cards that now have a zero balance! I just want to either know if I do have an online order out there somewhere that these gift cards did partially pay for that I can complete or if their online system goofed up, then I just want a new set of gift cards activated for me so I can get my shopping done before this sale ends. I have already lost out on some really great outfits that I literally watched disappear from my cart one by one. This has been a very frustrating and terribly disappointing experience and I'm sure if the couple that purchased these gift cards knew this was happening they would never buy them to here again.

Hello. I purchased a mattress for my daughter on 12/2/16 and basically it has terrible sagging, lack of support and was obviously defective. I've been back and forth with Boscov's too many times to count, starting on 9/15/21. (we recently moved and I found the receipt) They did indeed send someone out to check/measure the bed to confirm (not without begging/pleading/ many emails and phone calls). On 11/6/21, . *** came out to confirm what I stated above. In fact, his pictures indicated a more than 2" dent/compression/sag in the mattress. I work full time and it is difficult to answer my cell phone, and messages left are very generic. I'd like to resolve this issue and get the new mattress deserving to us. I do not have time to be on hold 20 minutes at a time or more. Please help us resolve getting the new mattress the warranty covers and support for my daughter's back.

I purchased two items (order number ***) from Boscovs online. The following week the same items were on sale. I contacted Boscos to see if they had a price match guarantee. I received an email the next day from Boscovs customer service saying they did have a price match guarantee and requested the order number and item numbers. I responded to the email and provided them with order and item numbers. I did not receive a response, so I emailed customer service again. Still no response. In total, I have contacted customer service 4 times with no response.

Boscovs or *** keeps telling me I need to pay more and more and more every month! I'm told pay this certain amount to pay the balance and I paid it but next month its a new balance with a new amount and I'm just getting so mad because they just keep sending me bills when it was suppose to be paid off in august and the fees are outrageous. You can see from the picture that it says my balance in august was $157.69 august 28 they received my payment of $157.69 then somehow they came up with a new balance in sept foe $151.79 then because I paid the balance off in august I didn't pay the new sept balance and as of today they want me to pay over $300

Boscov's Department Store online ad from Boscov's will not let me open anything Site keeps saying I am Denied Access

I am a Boscov's customer. For the past week or so I am unable to look @ Ads online the site says Denied Access. I am confused I shop Boscov's Online all the time Now the site won't open. Could you please find out the reason why I can no longer have access to the Boscov's site I shop online for most items due to my disability can't go in person to a store. Thank you!

Boscov's Department Store Outdoor Furniture cushions

Early this summer I purchased 4 seat cushions and 2 throw pillows (Jordan, red and black floral)

They were supposed to have UV protection.

After only a few months they are faded. I like the cushions very much, I am not sure the cushions I purchased, ever received the protective treatment. I would like to have the items replaced.

The items were purchased on my American express card, and were delivered to:

Boscov's Department Store Sectional with sofa bed, corner and 2 recliners!

Shopping for Christmas 2022 my husband sits on a recliner portion of a huge grey sectional. I walk over and he likes the look and the 10min. He sat in the recliner he agreed it would be nice for Christmas. We needed furniture however we were in no financial shape to make a purchase of the close to $4,000 prior to Christmas. We were told of the sale looked went home but went back. Would it fit ? Yes, it would.

Went Back to Boscov's long and short we used 2 credit cards to make the purchase because we felt as though Boscov's would not sell junk. We trusted a Department store that we grew up shopping in.

Furniture delivered, clicked together, any questions? No.

Next few days go by charger ports not charging. Furniture (recliners) badly leaning to one side the corner side , the other one with an arm connected to the console, when sat upon feels like you are going to fall through.

Well, needless to say the more time on the furniture revealed absolutely no consumer information. Sofa bed ( It is probably on that) guess again no manufacturer information..

Christmas comes and goes all back to normal, except for this huge bad decision. I Called a warranty center. If you did not buy the extended warranty on the day of purchase then we don't have your information. Why do you need a warranty on brand new furniture? Oh, now we know why? Bad marketing, manufacturing. I want to know who else bought this furniture and had no complaints? We cannot even get it apart. Husband called and complained they sent someone twice to fix the charging ports. None of the other issues are addressed. One serviceman also could not get the thing apart anywhere. I hate feeling like there is nothing we can do. There are others out there I know it. It's horrible. The weekly Boscovs adds make me want to vomit. Unusable, unforgivable, shame on you Boscov's. We want comfortable furniture to sit on. That's what we want. That's all we ever wanted! Every time we call it's more weeks to wait for someone who really fixes nothing. Ports still do not charge our phones and is really the least of the problems.

Desired outcome: Comfortable furniture of comparable value to use in our home. Or a refund to our credit cards.

Boscov's Department Store Customer service

Shopping for a dress for a wedding. I have a boot cast on. I found one dress that was short enough I didn't trip over it. I spoke to an associate with short red hair. She said, "It's going to show your boot as it comes up on the side," she told me this 3 times. I was still looking at the dress and saw it was like pants and said, Oh it's pants" She replied, "Yes it is pants" in a not so pleasant tone. I just looked at her. I said all your dresses are too long and she just stared at me. I was shocked she did not take the time to help me find a dress however, she had time to socialize with her co-workers complaining about someone else. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service this day at around 1 pm.

Desired outcome: Wow your options of the company cant read your mind oh my goodness I can't believe that is on there. I would like an apology

Boscov's Department Store overcharge

Hi, I purchased 3 priscilla curtains and a set of sheets. When I returned to my car I realized that I was charged for 4 curtains. Went back to store the girl said the fellow that waited on me will be back in awhile. I cannot wait have appointment. She called someone they said cannot return. She called security to check when I went out of store to see what I had. They said they could not.

She called a manager and she said to refund me. I was never so embarrassed she was accusing me of buying 4 which I did not. I only have 3 windows.

I told her to come to my car and see what I had. I am 77 years old. She had me so upset. If they had bags this would not have happened. Had to carry everything in my arms. Not a happy customer. Thank You Joyce Easterling [protected]@yahoo.com

Boscov's Department Store Recliner

Told no interest 1year on the account I flipped, the rep at the store did not inform me how this works since procedures have changed. Rep was helpfully but again if policy changed after my purchase where is the courtesy to good customers. This is important, communication and education my experience was told one thing from one another answer from another rep.

Desired outcome: NO OUTCOME JUST FOR ME TO wait for my next statement in JULY 2023 procedure changed After MY PURCHASE

Boscov's Department Store Furniture warranty service

We bought furniture from boscovs recently and we have an electrical issue with our recliner.. We called on April 19, we never heard back from the service provider so I called back on April 25 and I was told I had to give them one more day. April 26 I called and complain. The service company finally called me that day and they can’t come out till May 11. I have a brand new recliner stuck in the reclined position that cannot be utilized and I can’t get service till three weeks after the incident so the chair cannot be utilized. I think having to wait three weeks for service is not good customer service. It’s three weeks for service on a piece of furniture that cannot be utilized and this is poor customer service. I have never bought furniture from boscovs before and I never will again. I would also not recommend others buying furniture from boscovs. The quality of the furniture is not that great either. The leg rests is already crooked and has a click sound which isn’t even the issue were having the service calls completed. I’m just a very unhappy customer.

Desired outcome: That the service call is completed promptly so customers don’t have a piece of furniture that they need and can’t be utilized.

Boscov's Department Store Lazyboy finley rocker recliner

Purchased this recliner rocker on 12/12/22 in the Dover Delaware store. Took delivery on 12/17/22 where it took the delivery personnel 5 minutes to put it together. I looked the chair over and it seemed to be ok. I went to move the chair and the left side of the back came up and was loose. Put in a claim #192067 and on 2/22/23 a repair person came to look at the chair. The service person looked at the chair, made a small adjustment and indicated that he thought the back had a manufacturing defect on it and that we should hear something from the your service department in a few days. He didn't know if they would fix the chair or just order a new one. I didn't hear anything from Boscov's concerning the chair. On 3/2/23, I called your warranty department and was informed that the service person realigned the chair and found no manufacturing defects. This was not what we were told. It took me over 10 minutes waiting on line for someone to pick up my phone call only to be told the direct opposite. This is the second chair purchased from you that had problems. I have been a customer for a long time but will be cancelling my charge and NOT purchasing from Boscov's again.

Boscov's Department Store Customer service

I placed an online order to my local Boscovs in Toms River NJ for pick up. I realized I had ordered the wrong size after picking up the items. I sent two requests to shop by phone and never received a reply. I wanted the two items in a larger size and wanted to see if they could be shipped to my store for pick up as they were not available at my local store. I also called the [protected] twice holding on one time for 15 minutes and the next day I held on for 25 minutes. No one ever answered. I then tried calling my local Boscovs customer service only to have it ring 20 times when someone picked up and hung up on me. All I wanted was to have these two items shipped to my store for pick up. I have been a long time loyal customer of Boscovs. I returned the original two items to my local Boscovs. I then had to order over $59.00 worth of merchandise to qualify for free shipping. I really only wanted the two items. In my opinion this is not how you would treat a loyal customer. I await your reply.

Boscov's Department Store Yor store and not supply boots for people with big sizes

Me and my boyfriend went to your store in.wilkes barre pa for boots for me I will never go to your store again they don't carry my size boots size 11 not my vault my feet are so big the girl said they only have size9 and down its a shame people with big feet can't get what they want at.your store. ...my name is Darlene Tylutke 1181wyoming ave Exeter pa [protected] I would like a answer

Boscov's Department Store Purchase of sofa on May 7, 2022

To Whom It May Concern:

My husband and I purchased a sofa at the Westminster Boscov's location on May 7th and it was delivered on May14th. We purchased the extended warranty with the sofa, but the warranty appears to be a waste of our money. I have contacted the store three times to no avail.

I spoke to a representative in the Westminster Boscov's furniture department on September 28, 2022, and they gave me information on how to have a customer service representative take care of my sofa. Again, I spoke to a representative on the customer service number the 18th of October, He stated that he would contact the company contracted to take care of problem. I still have not received any call back to rectify the situation. Last week, on Oct.31st, I spoke to Glenn, and he said that he would email customer service and they would get back to me. No response. This leads me to believe that Boscov's does not stand behind their furniture and leads me to believe my money was wasted. We paid for it on our Boscov's charge to pay for our purchase and warranty.

My husband I have other furniture purchased at Bosvocs and it is in better condition than my new furniture. What can we do to rectify the problem? Please call me or email me with your response to this matter.

Boscov's Department Store Online ordering

10-29-22 So its ok to take money from people's bank accounts without permission from this company. HUGE PROBLEM AND DONT KNOW HOW THAT IS LEGAL!

I found the Boscov's website. They were the only place I could find a cup I was looking for. I put several in my checkout bag online, then when I got to the final purchase page, I realized I was close to the no shipping fee, so I went back and shopped online a little more and added a couple things. My Microsoft popped up when i went to check out saying I had coupons, so added those. Like 4 times I went to the final checkout page and the amount kept changing, so I would go back. Finally figured out the problem and finished my order. I got a confirmation email and was set. Until my husband saw our bank statement a few minutes later. Every time I got to the checkout page; we were charged that amount. I HAD NOT CHECKED OUT. I did not check out or complete purchase but was charged 5 different times and the money taken out of our account. I was only spending $70 on my purchases, but they took out over $300. When I called, I was told it would be back in 2-4 business days. So now my kids don't get to eat for a couple days, because that was my grocery money. So, it is ok to take money from people's bank accounts without permission from this company. HUGE PROBLEM AND DONT KNOW HOW THAT IS LEGAL! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE. If the credit card number is in there, on one of the final checkout pages, THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT. I cant say enough how crappy this is and again do not know how that is legal.

Desired outcome: Not only to get my money back NOW, not in 2-4 days, but to NEVER DO THIS TO ANYONE ELSE!!
