LongHorn Steakhouse - anniversary ruined

On saturday october 26, 2019 approximately around 6-630 my husband and I chose longhorn to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary dinner. This was our very first time ever in a longhorn. The wait was very reasonable and true to it's time.
We were seated and several minutes later our waitress came and greeted us. We wanted to try the crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The waitress told us it comes with our meal so we passed on any appetizer. Since I have some problem chewing steak, I went with the 6 oz flo's filet medium rare. Waitress said and for you sides? I chose baked potato and she said and another so naturally I chose the crispy brussel sprouts. She asked me if I wanted mushrooms on top of the steak so I said yes.
My husband chose the prime rib also medium rare.. Mashed potatoes and when asked for another he chose the same. (brussel sprouts)
Dinner came in a timely manner. I was quite shocked at the thinness of my filet and proceeded to cut it and it was cremated and dried out. My husbands prime rib looked delicious but on his 3rd bite it was very salty : (
My husband is the type of person where if he's hungry he's just eating it.
I on the other hand told my waitress that my filet was very well done and could I please order the rib eye medium rare.
The steak was brought to me however, it was definitely not a rib eye but a strip steak not to mention the fact that its soooo spicy and now I can't even eat this steak. Got a box to go. Waitress brings our bill, not only were we charged for both the filet and the "ribeye" we were charged for each brussel sprouts side not to mention the addition charge for the mushrooms that I also was not made aware of.!. She lead us to believe that they were included in our meal, not to mention the fact we were super confused as to why we didn't get a salad. Every respectable restaurant serves salad with a dinner. We ask for the manager. Devin was helpful even pointing out the fact that our waitress never took the filet off the bill and still added the rib eye (actually strip steak). So devin apologized, re did our bill. Took off my steak that I couldn't eat anyway, took off the 2 brussel sprouts and gave us 2 free app cards which was barely acceptable as upon reading them you only get a free appetizer if you purchase an entree. I question devin why the steak was soooo spicy and his reply was that our regular seasoning. I asked how was I supposed to know that so I could order differently as its our first time in a longhorn and he said it should have been explained by our waitress. I am really unhappy about this whole visit. To celebrate 30 years of marriage and then to have dinner totally suck with me having to grab a bite to eat after we left there is just atrocious.
P.S. As we were leaving the table right behind us was also complaining to devin about their meal and one of them got the delmonico.
Very unsatisfied customer in new jersey
