Johnny Carino's Manager being Rude

A male working at the location was rude as we walked in barking orders on where we can only sit. The place was empty and we were sitting in the same room as other. He became angry and when we asked for the manager he said he was the manager. He was a black male in his 40s or 50s. It was at 19829 NW freeway, Houston tx 77065. We left the location.

My name is Edward Martinez [protected]. I am a retired 32 years Police Investigator and now I work for the State as a Special Investigator. The guy was completely out of line an humiliated us.

Johnny Carino's Server: Alihandra Anes

This Server ( Alihandra Anes) was so rude that she would not even listen to what my husband and I was trying to show her about what was incorrect on the Menu. She seemed upset with us each two times we have eaten there. I hated to say this but she seemed racist against Black people. She served a man who just came in the restaurant who was White. That would be a shame if we were to mention to all our friends not to go there because of this problem, we have a lot of friends.

Johnny Carino's Horrible service

We called in an order and they told us we can pic it up in 40min so we send our daughter to get it and she there for another hour waiting before we finally just left. They had 1hr and 40 min and failed. When we called to find out why it took so long they hung up on us

Johnny Carino's Put on hold for a pick up order and never answered

Hello, I was recently calling at a local Johnny Carino's in El Centro California and the service was a bit underwhelming. I called multiple times and was told multiple times that I was being transferred to the curbside pick up line. Each time I was transferred to the curbside line no one ever answered and I was stuck on hold for at least 10-15 minutes long before trying again. So after over 30 minutes of calling I decided to just go and order at the restaurant to go. When i get there they said that they stopped doing to go orders for a family platter special they have on Mondays at 7. I had been calling well before 6:30. So it was pretty disappointing driving all the way there to not get that special that my family gets every Monday. The workers and managers didn't seem to care much which is why I decided to try here. I love your restaurant but this laziness over phone from this location has been getting worse and worse over the last couple months. Thank you.

Johnny Carino's dirty: allergen request ignored

The floor was sticky, littered with food and paper. The utensils were dirty, I had to ask for another set. The menu was sticky and had bits of food on it. I stated I was a celiac and could not have wheat, asked if the meat was breaded. I was assured it was not. When I saw it and tasted it, it was breaded, which should have been noted on the menu. Dirty is unacceptable. No wonder there were no cars in the parking lot, it will close soon, I predict

Johnny Carino's rude service

On July 30, 2019, my grandmother insisted on going to Carino's after her doctor's appointment. She wanted to treat me to lunch before her dialysis appointment. Arely, our waitress, was very rude and unfriendly. General Manager Letty Benavidez was very rude and unprofessional as well. Both were very unhelpful. They were making up rules to the Tuesday 2 for 1 specials. "Rules" that were not posted anywhere on the menu or the webpage. Gen. Manager refused to let us order the special due to her made up rules. I'm very upset with their unprofessional behavior and attitude towards me and my grandmother. I hope they will both receive proper training in good customer service. I can understand a server being rude or unprofessional, but I believe management should be held to a higher standard.

Johnny Carino's service

Last week I went in to have lunch with my grand son and noticed that there was only one cook in the kitchen, the server was good but the food took forever and there wasn't but two other tables in the restaurant. Also the lady cooking the food wasn't wearing any gloves while making the food and was touching her face and hair. When I asked my server who that was because the lady wasn't dressed to be a cook she said it was her manager Katie. My service was excellent but as a former manager at a local food restaurant I know their are health guidelines while working in the kitchen and this manager didn't seem to care about any of them.

Johnny Carino's service

Last night my friends plane got in late. He was hungry and we decided to visit one of your locations.
Upon arrival, the host let us know there would be a wait (it's New Year's Eve so as expected). A family walked in and were sat before us, we thought this was weird. Then another came after and like before they were sat too. I would hate to believe this had anything to do with our sexual preference. Shortly after, the host let us know there would be a longer than usual wait because their internet was down. Still puzzled we decided to stay. At this point we had been waiting 25 minutes. 15 minutes later the host lets us know she is unable to sit us as their system had crashed. My friend did not find this to be fair, especially because two families who came after us were provided service. He spoke to the manager who then gave us a table by the bar.
We looked at the menu, find what we want to order but no one had taken our drink order. Eventually the bartender makes his way to our table and lets us know it will be a while for him to give us service because he's busy helping other customers. We asked if we could at least have water and he once again simply said he could not at the time because he was with other guest.
You can't help but to feel discriminated against. We now have had at least two people not provide a service. We get the hint and decide to walk out but we couldn't. The manager was having an argument with a patron over a bill. It's now been an hour, we our hungry and awkwardly excusing ourselves through the ordeal.
This was my friends first visit to El Paso and one of your locations. I was completely embarrassed and could not find the words to apologize for this experience.

Johnny Carino's service north little rock, ar

Today, January 15, 2019 I called an order of chicken nachos, they told me it would be 15 minutes. I got there in about 10 minutes and sat outside for an additional 10 minutes at the curbside pickup. I went in and went to the bar area which is where call in pick ups is supposed to be at. I literally stood there over 10 minutes. It was after 1:00 p.m. and there were 11 customers and 15 visible employees. No one bothered to come ask me if I needed help. I then moved to the hostess area in hopes someone would approach me, finally when a waitress passed me she rudely said to go orders are picked up at the bar. Finally a very pleasant lady did come from the back or somewhere out of vision and got my order for me. She was very pleasant, it was just waiting for so long before she ever appeared and no one else bothering to even talk to me. I am the Controller for another Franchise and I just thought you should no of the poor customer service. They never seem very busy and I would hate to see them close as the one in West Little Rock did, but with service like that I fear it's coming.

I do not wish for anything, I just wanted for you to be aware.
