I have been buying all my liquor at the LCBO on Bayview Village for the last 16 years. Average shopping every 2 weeks average spend $130-$150 and I never had a problem until today.
The clerk at the register (a lady) had no training as to how to use the register. After 4 tries and 4 cancellations I asked for her manager.
By then I had been in front of the register close to half hour, to ring 5 bottles of wine, 3 small cartos of beer (4 each) and a bottle of Rhum
As I was trying to explain to the manager what the problem was and pointing to her the 4 cancelations over the counter, she became very agitated, eyes wide open, shouting at me not to raise my voice and not to point to her (I was pointing to the cancellations on the counter and trying to get her attention to me and not to the register and the clerk.
She was abusive loud and threaten me with no selling me anything, basically asking me to walk away. All this in front of other customers and clerks.
I am 75 years old and she treated me like a child with no respect whatsoever.
I expect somebody would answer this email with a follow up.
I phoned [protected] number given from a head office employee telling me that they answer customer service complaints.
Nobody answered, so I left a message to call me back. that was 2 hours ago.
Alvaro Gonzalez
Thank in advance
