The following email was sent to the management of Hyundai.But they are not ready to give us a new car, rather they are saying that they will replace the defects,which is obviously not right because we have already paid for a new car.So why gave us an old car.
After doing a proper research me and my family decided to buy Hyundai Santro Xing XL which is one of the best small cars through your authorized dealer LA Motors Pvt Ltd (D Nahur Road Road, Dalmiya Estate, Opp P & T Colony, Mulund West Mumbai 400080).This is my first car and we were waiting anxiously to get the delivery which is financed by HDFC Bank.
I had asked your dealer to show me the car before registering it. The dealer replied saying the car goes for registration from Bhiwandi yard itself and also mentioned that he has no one to accompany me to see the car at Bhiwandi. If he would have co-operated with me to inspect the car before registration this situation wouldn't have not aroused. Since the dealer assured that he has a tie-up HDFC bank and I relied on them thinking that the bank has got many transactions with your company, and I would not be cheated.
When I went to take the delivery after registration (which was done without my inspection) from the above mentioned dealer today i.e. 23/11/06 at around 14.00hrs with my mechanic, It was to my shock & surprise that I noticed after opening the bonnet of the car it is a flood affected car and the engine was completely rusted which even a lay man like me could see. Inside the car there were no screws fitted on the door and above the windows the tin was rusted.
When these defects were shown to the Workshop & Showroom Manager (Parag) they agreed to replace the rusted engine rather than giving us a car which is in perfect condition and told us to come and collect it tomorrow. After that I went with my mechanic for a test drive and noticed that there was defect in the engine as well. After spending huge amount of money, I do not want to buy a car which is flood effected, rusted and in which the water has entered in the engine.
I and my family now request your company to either refund my money or replace the car as it is flood affected. Though I have tried my level best to come to some understanding with the dealer but that has been of no use. If you can help me I would be highly obliged otherwise I will have to recall the bank loan and also request you to refund my initial payment of Rs 45000/- which I have paid to the dealer receipt.
I expect from a professionally run organization like Hyundai to get back to us with some positive solution at your earliest as my family is very keen to own a brand new Santro and not a flood effected & rusted car. This car was supposed to be presented to my daughter as a gift for her birthday from me and my wife but due to this inappropriate service we could not do the same and are highly disappointed.

It is one of worst experiences what we gained from Online Purchases. My brother sent one DVD player almost 6 months back from USA. The Site is “Teluguone.com” . The DVD player is from the Company “HYUNDAI”. The Distributors are “RajKamal Distributors, Ameerpet”,Hyderabad . There is a drama is happening with these people. Anyhow we got worst Hyundai DVD player. We are getting mental torture from these people.
Hyundai people services are very bad. Neither they are giving new piece or not rectifying the problem. In whole scenario we came to know that Hyundai is proving bad services. we contacted the different HYUNDAI show rooms. WE do not believe that HYUNDAI Company now. Anyhow we lost around 4000/- rs. Through online purchase. Ultimately we are only losers.

We had a similar experience with Teluguone.com when I shopped from USA for sweets & chocolates to be delivered in Vijayawada, India on Birthday occassion they delivered 2 days ahead of the birthday and the chocolates were melted. When we asked them over the phone they asked me to send an email and none cared to respond to the email or by phone. It shows their irregularity and seems customers satisfaction is not important to them.
Hyundai DVD player itself is a crap i bought it last year and within 5 months of minimal usage i had plethora of problems. With the amount i spent on number of visits to the service center (that too under warranty), i could have bought a superb player. Dont ever buy Hyundai electronics. Total crap, cannot play a normal Disc which other player plays blissfully. Sound quality is very bad. Hardware goes off every often. Picture quality is OK. Do a fwd or rev thats it, the player hangs up.
no reimbursement!
I received a letter from Hyundai Motor America that my 2000 Tiburon was recalled due to a potential crack in the exhaust manifold. I was stationed in Germany at the time, so I called Hyundai to find out what I could do. The employee told me I could have the repairs done anywhere, and after I sent in receipts I would be reimbursed. I spent four months finding a German Hyundai dealer that would fix the problem. Additionally, during this period there was exhaust fumes leaking into the vehicle and I was pregnant. On May 22, 2006 I mailed Hyundai my receipt along with a letter detailing the ordeal I had gone through and how unhappy I was with the service given. In June I received a Customer Reimbursement Form and a letter stating Hyundai needed a copy of the title to the car. I mailed that information on June 24 and they claim to have received it on July 10. Every week since August I have called Hyundai Consumer Affairs and they tell me they have no information, but they would send an e-mail to Hyundai Corporate to check the status and someone would call me back. The reality is, e-mails were not sent as I was told, and no one calls me back. During one conversation I was told only the Customer Reimbursement Form was received on July 10th. I have mailed them paperwork three times. The cost of the repairs was $1673.53. I consulted a lawyer about the matter. He tried to talk to Hyundai about setting a timeline for when I would receive my reimbursement, but Hyundai refused to cooperate.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
2021 Tucson not cooling in 11/24. Took it to Fort Myers Hyundai where bought it new in Oct 2020. Told I needed AC Diagnostics ($350). Took car on 12/18/ 24. I was told AC compressor "went bad" and quoted $939.78. Filed claim w/Hyundai, I was denied. Unacceptable, a 3 yrs old and 82K miles. Statistics AC Comp last 7-10 yrs. Hyundai must pay not me.
I have requested what my 2016 tuscon was recalled for, We took it to coastal hyundai in melbourn, Fla. They were not very forthcoming. I called several #'s on your web site. Some were that were disconnected. The ones that were connected could not answer an (I thought would be easy) question.
What was the recall supposed to fix?
There is 2 perfectly straight crack lines in the speedometer cluster screen. We did not do and don't even know how we could do that unless we were magicians. The dealership dismissed it as we performed 2 perfectly straight cracks in the screen with no re coarse and we were lying and they were not covering the Defect. Hyundai of Murfreesboro Tn.
I have had my 2016 elantra since February 2022 and noticed paint peeling after about 6 months of having it. It is getting worse. I’ve seen tons of complaints about this issue. It seems to be a common problem with these models. Definitely a factory issue.
Took my car in for a recall notice got it back with the bumper hanging off. I told dakota.the service guy about it and he hung up on me and simply said " there's no reason to touch your bumper"
I called back again and this time asking for a corporate number and he said " we don't have a corporate" and hung up on me again!
I purchased the above vehicle a year ago. I am already experiencing mechanical issues. The dealership, Hyundai Alexandria, Kentucky, cannot get me in for service until July 12. Their advise until then is to not drive the vehicle. Unacceptable for a brand new vehicle that I paid approximately $30k for - unacceptable.
I have my white paint peeling all over my car and have noticed all most all white Hyundi cars have the same issue. This needs to be fixed by the Manufactuer thi obviosly is a KNOWN defect , I would never purchase another of their vehicles beause they obviously do not satnd behind thier products, what good is a car that runs well but is rusting
It's very poor service also sales manger didn't took such instances instead of saving his employee from mistake also after 1 month i have receive my car from service centre i will suggest my native not to buy Hyundai car in future.
The transmission seems as if it's slipping, the auto-shut off valve came on, and the car kept shutting off and on. I had the same issue with my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe and traded it for the 2023.
Bought 2 warrenties. Contacted to cancel paid off finance been dealing with finance dept Edgar Pinto rt44 hyundia since December. Dealer has not returned money. 2,500 and 4,500. Now April 2023.
Will never never recommend this Dealer again.
