Huddle House review: cold food, overcooked and delays

On 2/9/2020 Me and my wife with our greatgranddaughter choose the Bedford Huddle House for breakfast around 930 am. The restaurant at the time wasnt that busy, I would say average for a Sunday morning at that time. Our hostess was quite friendly and did a good job, Drinks were out pretty quick and order was taken promptly. We both orders the small rib eyes, Mine medium rare and my wives medium well. Eggs over medium for both, Hash browns and white toast and one pancake for our 21 month old granddaughter. From that point, It took almost 15 minutes to recieve only cold hash browns on two plates with cold toast on them. Hostess says Im coming with the rest., 4 minutes later she comes with the Ribeyes and eggs. Both ribeyes were cold and way beyond what we ordered to the point of a chewy steak that neither one of us touched. Well well done. Our eggs had no yellows in them and were cold and cooked to hard eggs. No soppings. We finally got the got the cold pancake after 6 more minutes and by that time we were just furious, Still hadnt ate anything and addressed my concern to the hostess. She said hold on a minute and walked away. My wife took our granddaughter the car and I waited 5 more minutes until I guess was the manager showed up and I told him the problems we had and he offered a free dessert or a deduction on the meal. That didnt help matters. I told him I just wanted my check. I paid the 33.00 check with 40.00 and told our hostess to keep the rest. I have never stolen anything in my life. We never touched the food as we couldnt eat it. I just feel I was cheated out 40.00 and they wasted a lot of food and spent 45 minutes hungry with a grumpy gdaughter getting bored to death. Thats why she had to take her to the car. We went to Mcdonalds across the way and had a hot breakfast with hot pancakes. Everything was great. So dissapointed in Huddle House. Thats my complaint.
