Home Depot Appliance department

I purchased a range, wall mounted range hood and microwave on one trip. I bought a refrigerator/freezer on the next trip. I was told a company sponsored installer would be in touch with me about the installation of the hood and that it was part of my delivery/installation price. I waited 5 days and no contact. They called to deliver the range and I had no install on the hood. Called the installers, they were not open yet. Called the Fenton store and the appliance person was not in yet. Had to decline the delivery. Had to make multiple calls and finally had to call and reschedule the range delivery and the refrigerator for next week. Was told by the store manager that the install for the hood was not part of the delivery set up price? If I had been told that, I could have called my own electrician, which I did. Unlike your installers, he will come out later today. Your salespeople need to be all on the same page when offering information to customers. The only person who was really helpful was the young lady at the call center, who helped me reschedule my deliveries for the same day next week. Big shout out to her. Now, I am a little afraid to come back into the store to complete my purchases of the washer, dryer and dishwasher. Will I need to hire my own installers again at my own expense? I realize that help is very hard to get these days, but your manager seemed more eager help me cancel my existing orders, than help me resolve the issues.

Desired outcome: make it up to me with better treatment when I come back to purchase the rest of my items.

Home Depot Model #fbd2400kb12b

I purchased your product at your Naples location for my elderly parent. Since day one, we had issues with the dishwasher, it’s been truly a headache and nightmare. The dishwasher has damages and defect to the door not closing appropriately. I have made Several attempts to change it with Home Depot for almost 2 years now. However, unsuccessful since day one. I am exhausted with the back and forth and paying other contractors several times for repair totally over $600 dollars but the issue still continues.

Desired outcome: I’m reaching out to your prestigious company to consider assistance in compensation to purchase a new dishwasher since this dishwasher is already discontinued. I have not been able to use since I purchased It.

Home Depot Dishwasher delivery/installation

Home Depot's appliance delivery operations are terrible. So unorganized, and the communication from the delivery team is nonexistent. I ordered a dishwasher on their website, and the soonest delivery was 1 month out. Not ideal, but fine with me. Delivery day comes and they never show up. Meanwhile they marked the dishwasher as "Delivered" on their tracker. I call their support team and they say they don't know what happened but assure me it'll be delivered by end of day. Never came. Call them that evening and they reschedule the delivery for two days out. They never came on that day either. Two scheduled deliveries and they didn't show up for either one! Sure wasted a lot of my time, though.

Finally I called to cancel the order and get a refund. Rep told me I would get a refund in 3-5 business days. 5 days later, still no refund, so I call and then I'm told the refund takes 7-10 business days. Been over 10 days and still no refund. Home Depot wasted my time on not one, but two(!) delivery days, never gave me my dishwasher, and have now taken several weeks to issue a refund. I will never order an appliance from Home Depot again.

Desired outcome: Give me my refund!

Home Depot Patio door from home depot that was never delivered not installed.

We purchased a patio door from Home Depot on May 8, 2022, which they considered it a special order. A few weeks later, the Home Depot contractor called us to advise that the door was damaged and that they would not be able to come install. Therefore the door was returned to the Home Depot vendor. After a few follow up calls to Home Depot, they advised of the date the door would be available. So sometime in June, on the day of installation, the contractor called and said the patio door wasn't functioning properly (mini-blinds) didn't work, so the door was returned to the vendor a 2nd time. So after a few weeks we call Home Depot again and they said they wasn't sure when the door would come in and that the vendor is now unable to obtain the correct parts. So on August 15th we call to get the status of the door and saw that the order was canceled and that they did NOT refund the full amount but did refund a particle. They said they was a restocking fee on a product and service we never received, nor did we receive a full refund.

Desired outcome: We would like help in having our door installed or for Home Depot to provide us with a full refund. Thank you very much for any assistance/help.

Home Depot Usig tile installation

I cannot tell you how much I regret going with this company to redo the tile in our bathroom. First, they didn't properly remove the original backerboard and just laid down theirs and then tiled over it which caused the entire floor to be uneven, have some tiles stick up in weird places, AND to CUT all of our doors, trim, and paneling to accommodate the raised floors. Also its a 2" high transition bump now from our bedroom to bathroom. Not only does it look terrible but they also didn't cut the toilet pipe holes correctly and we haven't been able to reinstall our toilet. On top of that, they left with it a complete mess (shame on me for not stopping him). I couldnt walk on it to inspect and by the time he left and I spent hours cleaning up and installing, I could finally see all the damage done. They have refused to answer our calls or provide updates so now it's been 2 weeks of NO bathroom appliances. So disappointed and looking into legal action if they don't contact us back ASAP.

Desired outcome: The company needs to come fix this ASAP

Home Depot Delivery

Ordered a washer in Home depot on 8/13, delivery scheduled on 8/17. We made arrangements to stay home on 8/17 to ensure we don't miss the delivery. At 2:57PM I got a call from the driver saying he would arrive in an hour. But I waited til 4pm, and nobody showed up. I called at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm, no one answer. When I called at 7pm and the next day, the phone was powered off. I called the delivery center, and home depot customer service, stayed on the line for a total of 1 hour, nobody took my phone. So frustrated! Worst customer service ever!

Desired outcome: Delivery ASAP!

Home Depot A defective can of Great stuff

To whom it may concern: I am a homeowner in the Wyncote area of Philadelphia for the past 34 years and I have always shopped at Home Depot for tools and stuff to repair my home. I purchased a can of Great stuff about 2 months ago and it was defective when I tried to use it. On 8/16/22 at 9:28 am I returned the can to the Wyncote store, I did not have the receipt, The people at your return desk did everything but replace the can off great stuff. They wanted to charge me over six dollars for a replacement can and when I refused to pay any more. the female people at the desk were very rude and disrespectful. I told her to remove the top so she could see that the can was defective, and she would not. They ended up giving me store credit for the can that I returned. I am a very dissatisfied customer and then contacted my contractor and told him not to buy any tile or supplies from Home Depot, while he is remodeling my kitchen. And I will never shop at Home Depot again.

Desired outcome: I just wanted you to know that you have lost a lifelong customer because of a can of Great stuff.

Home Depot Will not pick up return of hot tub that arrived damaged.

Good day. I am writing this since I don't seem to be able to get any resolution using your phone contact as I have called on at least 6 occasions and nothing has been done. I am trying to return a spa/hot tub that was damaged in transit. The spa has sat in my driveway since it was delivered on July 21st. Therefore, it has sat there waiting to be picked up for over 26 days and no one to this day has called me to set up a pickup appointment.

I am further outraged at the fact that the spa arrived obviously damaged and was just left in my driveway without the opportunity to accept the shipment. In fact, I was told that it was to be delivered on Tuesday July 19th and the truck never arrived, I was then told it would arrive on the 20th, which I waited for and it never arrived. The shipment did finally arrive on the 21st and I was notified to meet the driver at my house as I was told I needed to sign for it. However, when I got to the house 10 minutes after I was contacted the driver had left the spa in my driveway and I NEVER signed for it. Now how is it I have to sign for it but it was dropped without a signature. It was obvious that the spa was damaged as it was leaning to one side.

I was told it would be picked up to NSA and three weeks later they simply cancelled the pickup without ever contacting me. I was told that Home Depot would be picking up the spa since NSA had cancelled the pickup. Now I'm being told that NSA is now going to schedule a pickup. After three weeks of waiting for these people and ultimately being cancelled by them I am now expected to believe these people will now attempt pickup. I was told they did not have the equipment to pick up the spa as they needed a flatbed. As you can see from the pictures I did not unpack the spa as there were parts sticking out the side of the packaging and you can see where it looks like it was either dropped or run into as the bottom of one side is actually separated from the main body of the spa. You can see this in the pictures; however, it does not look as bad as it does in person, but there is damage to the base of the spa.

Could someone please help resolve this issue? We wouldn't have an issue had the spa arrived undamaged. I would have already been enjoying it, yet this is becoming a nightmare as not only am I paying for something that I shouldn't have on my account for obvious reasons, it is in the way and I am afraid it could be stolen or in some bad weather could be blown over and damaged more. Please advise. Thanks, Kenneth Lance Towle.

Desired outcome: Pickup the damaged hot tub asap and remove the charge from my credit card.

Home Depot Asurion extended warranty on ge washer and dryer

My husband and I purchased a GE Washer and Dryer set in Dec 2017, we purchased the extended warranty as well to be safe. The salesman assured us that the washer would easily wash my comforters and that I would no longer need to take them to the laundry mat. As soon as the machines were installed I tried to wash a comforter and the washing machine didn't allow enough water into the tub to get the comforter completely wet and in fact less than half of it got wet. I attempted several times to wash the comforter , tried different settings etc and essentially had to take it to the laundry mat to wash it. We immediately contacted home depot and stated for them to come back for the machines as on the receipt it states they have a 90 days return policy. But in fact this is not at all factual as we were told that we would have to take up the issue with GE and deal with attempting to have it repaired rather than having the opportunity to return the machines. Then shortly thereafter the dryer started destroying clothes, ill go to take out laundry to find towel torn, comforters and blankets always come out damaged, there is always so much lint in the trap that it is beyond plugged up with each individual load and especially with the towels I have to dry the loads twice to get them dry or only dry 4 towels at a time. with the washer we were told by the repair guys that it would never get enough water in it to do comforters as we had been told at the store, There have been at least 11 calls on the washer and 6 on the dryer and each time I call for another service call I am told that there have been no other service claims made on the machines. . I have been told that asurion would be issuing a refund by 3 supposed supervisors , even made to wait on the line while the supervisors notated that account, and then days later told that there is no record of that on the account. The warranty we got stated that after 3 service calls we would have a replacement or refund and now asurion is saying that it is 4 service calls in succession for the same issue ,.,. and still wont honor that as now they have no record of the previous service calls. They set up appointments with A&E without our knowledge resulting in missed repair appointments then leading to weeks until someone comes out to tell us that we bought terrible machines, that Asurion are the worst warranty company for them to even have to deal with. This has been a nightmare. I have spent more time doing my laundry at the laundry mat than at home since purchasing these machines. I submitted a receipt for reimbursement for almost $500 to have our laundry washed and they say they never received iit.. In the beginning the machines were under warranty with a different company and at some point the company was changed without having been notified and apparently the service calls with them vanished upon being transferred to asurion so they apparently dont count towards the 3 call warranty guarantee .

Desired outcome: Id like an apology and the refund as we originally tried to get as stated on the receipt that I still have.

Home Depot Service

Dear sir or madam. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. And greatly appreciate the discount you offer vets. However, I am afraid I will no longer be able to take advantage of the program.

As I stated earlier I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran, as a result of traumatic brain injury I was left with tunnel vision and only have a 30 Degree field of view. Basically, I see only what is immediately in front of me, at a distance of about 8 feet my field of view is about 4 feet wide. I was visiting the Home Depot at 6874 US 322 Franklin, Pennsylvania 16323. As I turned from the main Isle down the tool Isle, one of the Home Depot employees was standing on the right side of the isle against the display. Because he was on the inside of my turn, I could not see him at all, I did not run into him or anything, in fact I did not know he was there until he loudly and sarcastically said, "Excuse me works well around here". Now I realize he had no way of knowing my handicap, However, an employee who is being paid to serve the customers should never speak to one in such a rude and condescending manner regardless of the situation. I lodged a complaint with the Manager on duty while Kerby (the rude employee) kept cruising by to listen in on the conversation.

I have no idea what transpired after that, however now every time I go into the store and Kerby sees me he goes out of his way to walk by and laugh, smirk and or make a comment like "still here", Some people think they are all it" or "Boo Hoo"

I am not a person to make threats or offers to pressure one into a decision, however unless something is done to rectify this situation permanently. I will No longer shop at Home Depot and will encourage my fellow veterans to follow suit.

Respectfully Raymond Bernard

Desired outcome: I want Kerby Gone from the store I shop at.

Home Depot Order wrong

we ordered a bathroom countertop in March and just had it installed today [protected]). 2 days after we placed our order we changed the color to just white, we were told no problem since the order had not been placed yet. We were told it would be 2 to 3wks for someone to contact us to measure, that was 5wks. We then got a message that they couldn't do the edge we asked for, then it was if we picked a different material it would get done sooner ( that was 3mo after the order was placed), then it was back to the edge. When I would call them back I would never get anyone. The day before it was to be installed I got a call telling me the time needed to be changed from 8am -10am to 10am to noon, then I talked to someone that told me a machine had gone down and they would not be able to install when they had first told me, then I talked to someone else that said it would be installed 8-10-22 between 8 and 10am, they showed up about noon with the original color we ordered, my husband had them install it because we didn't want to start all over again, I am very disappointed with this.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund. We have spent several thousands of dollars in your store remodeling our home.

Home Depot Delivery and Set-up Team

August 9, 2022

Approximately Between 2:30pm and 3:30pm

Order #WB19985482

The new washer was banged repeatedly between the old washer and newer dryer while the delivery team was taking it to its destination. It wasn't until I asked them not to damage the finish on the new washer, that they put it down and moved things around to create a wider path. The team did not make sure that the path was wide enough to get the new washer through, which caused damage to my dryer that was found after the team had left.

The delivery team pushed the new washer up tightly against a drainpipe, pinching the power cord between it and the machine, and then left it that way. I had to pull the washer forward to release the pressure off of the power cord and drainpipe.

The delivery team did not level the machine, which is part of the installation process and making it "working ready". I leveled the machine before using.

Home Depot Credit services

On July 7th I applied for a credit card with Home Depot. I received an email stating that they were unable to give me the credit card due to a security alert in my report. The email stated for me to wait and get a rejection letter and call the number in the letter. The letter never arrived. I list 10 points on my credit report due to the inquiry. Experian told me that they did in fact received a copy of my report. I have been transferred to I don’t know how many different people att Home Depot. Credit services is unwilling to help and said I need to start a new credit application. So I will loose another 10 points in my credit report and without being assured they would be able to move forward or not with a decision. I would be out the points. Transferred all over home depot telling this situation and no resolve. They have a copy of my credit Experian assured me of this. I am very frustrated. I may not ever go to Home Depot again if this isn’t resolved.

Desired outcome: Credit services call me and let’s talk about this with a positive outcome.

Home Depot Carpet installation

On 6/24/2022 I had new carpet installed. I noticed the next day that a seam had "popped" up in the middle of the den. It's very noticeable. I contacted the Home Depot #6833 in Plano where I purchased and informed them and sent pictures. The next day there was "fraying" (little tuffs of carpet) sticking up at the seam. Once again I contacted Home Depot and sent pictures. About a week later, a representative of Cooper Installations came out for an inspection. A discussion was had about the location of the seam and he agreed that was not exactly a good place, He took out an xacto knife and cut the piece of frayed carpet off. However, the fraying has returned. The next week Home Depot #6833 contacted me and concluded that my dog's toenails had caused the fray. Well, if that's true there would have been frayed carpet throughout the house which there isn't. Home Depot filed a warranty report on the carpet. Mohaw then requested a 18"x 18" piece of carpet to test however, the carpet installers took all the leftover carpet with them. I received another email from Home Depot stating that Mohaw is saying that my vacuum caused the problem and they will not warrant the carpet. There are no other frayed areas in my home where I have vacuumed or the dog has been, only at the seam. I fear that this fraying will continue and eventually the seam will come apart.

Desired outcome: I would like the carpet replaced and the seam placed in the appropriate location.

Home Depot Refrigerator purchase

On 07/28/2022 I purchased an LG refrigerator for $1984.74, I was given a price match on the next day as I found the same one at Lowe's for approx. $90.00 cheaper. My product was to arrive 08/03/2022. I received a voicemail at 6:30am stating my appliance was 2 stops away and I should remove all foods from the old one and unplug it. I did this, putting foods in both sinks and container and coving with ice. 4hours later home depot shows up with a refrigerator badly damaged in the front and the top left corner crushed. All of the ice has melted now and I have no where to put my foods. Around 11:30am I call my Home Depot and they say they will send a loaner fridge. It arrives around 1pm. The young man(Alphonso) that is to handle it is no more than 120lbs and struggles to get it up my front steps and then procedes to fall backwards with fridge landing on him. I am terrified at this point thinking his leg or ankle is broken. He lays there for a few moments then says he is fine. I am not. He procedes to my other set of steps where I then must help him maneuver it down. Most of my foods such as milk, creamer, condiments, sour cream, yogurts ect. have spoiled by now due to heat. I contacted my Home Depot but they said the vendor said No to any compensation. It was not the vendors fault nor did the vendor contact me to remove my foods. It was Home Depot! I was not helped, and I still have not been contacted about when my new appliance will be arriving. Today is Friday and I know the warehouse in West Columbia SC that it comes from is closed on the weekends. My house is in a big mess, the old refrigerator is leaking onto my kitchen floor and the tiny fridge they sent me is inadeguate. I also spoke to Devin at my Home Depot about the young man, telling her what happened and she had to make several calls to find out exactly who delivered it as no one was listed bringing me a loaner. He did not report it. I am happy he is OK but this is the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. I am greatly disappointed with Home Depot as this is now my fourth bad experience, 1st my $5000.00 doors, then 2 brand new lawn mowers, and now this refrigerator. I want to know what Home Depot will do to show me I am a valued customer. Thank you, Donna Goodsmith [protected]@yahoo.com or text [protected]

Desired outcome: A substantial credit to my account, for loss of foods, frustration, time waiting, and stress worring about the employee falling in my home. $500.00
