Lost luggage
On October 25th 9:50pm Nashville bus to Cleveland. I put my luggage under neath the bus. When I got on the bus it was crowded. I wanted to catch the next bus at 3:10am. I told the bus driver I wanted to get my luggage off the bus as I was getting next one. He said I don't have time I have to go. He told security to close the luggage doors. Security was able to grab my duffle bag, or that would have been gone too. The bus driver drove off with my luggage, and clothes! Security said don't worry Iam sure it will go to final destination, and you can pick it up there. The final destination was Cleveland. When I finally arrived in Cleveland I went to customer service for help. I was forced to deal with a bif fat lady. Who looked like she did not want to be bothered by anyone unless it was for a ticket. I tell her about my luggage. She tells me I could help you with your luggage, but I don't want to. I don't want to go through dirty luggage, and I don't want to get dirty. You just want me to feel sorry for you. I was in shock, and appalled by her response! Iam just trying to get my luggage! Boy, what I am realizing is greyhound customer service is horrible! I won't get any help here! I did write a letter to cooperate, and filled a claim with baggage. They are sure slow getting my luggage back to me. I just want my luggage, and clothes back! That is not to much to ask!
Desired outcome: I JUST WANT MY CLOTHES AND LUGGAGE BACK! THAT IS ALL NOT TO MUCH TO ASK!

I took the 3:10am bus. When I arrived in Cleveland I went right to customer service. I was greeted by a woman who was big, and fat. She looked like unless it is to purchase a ticket don't bother me. She gave that impression I don't want to be bothered. Anyway, I approached her. She acted like she did not want to be bothered. She said to me. I could help you with your luggage, but I don't want to. I don't want to go through dirty luggage, or get dirty. You just want me to feel sorry for you. I was stunned! Not only was my luggage lost, and gone with the driver who took off with my luggage under his bus. Because he could not be bothered to look for it under the bus! Not only did greyhound lose my luggage, but there customer service is lousy! I realized fast they don't care, and I was not going to get any help clearly from customer service. My clothes are lost, and greyhound is sure taking there time getting it back to me! Even though I have given specific details! This recent trip from Greyhound was from hell! If I have to worry about greyhound getting to my destination on time, worry about my luggage; and customer service I will receive. I may as well stay home!
Greyhound Website Purchase
My Employer purchased a bus ticket for the 30th of this month, and our discussion was to get the earliest departure time available. I chose the 2:00 am route. When I got to bus station to check in I was told that bus ticket was a day late which showed the 29th. Because of it I had to purchase another bus ticket and am now dealing with a delay and it has been 4 hours and no one has shown. I'm very disappointed because I'm not arriving at projected date which is costing me money lost of wages and that the website is not properly organized. The 29th did not show until after the ticket was paid for and that is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: I would like to speak to someone regarding this matter for some type of reimbursement.

Classist Refund Policy
Greyhound has the most nonsensical policy on trip cancellations in the entire industry. You have to pay more to be able to cancel your ticket and get a refund?! What parasite comes up with this?! Not only that, but if you try to reschedule, you have to pay a $20 fee even if the ticket turns out to be cheaper. This is absolutely ridiculous, NEVER buy a greyhound ticket if you can help it. There are way more affordable, understanding companies.
Desired outcome: At least give me back the difference between the tickets
Misunderstanding
My name is miss wilson, today 10/14/22 I was coming from ny ny 34st penn station to baltimore at 2:45am, when I arrived he luggage part was open, then the driver gets off the bus and states I can't take you, I asked why I have a ticket, he proceed to close the luggage door while waving me away with his hand at the same time, so I started crying and my son asked him why she can't get on the bus it's seats right here empty cause you can see the empty seats, she has her ticket if the bus was full the system won't of sold her the ticket, he proceed to talk loud and a few of the worker came over and could see the empty seat them selfs, the customers on the bus were confused as well cause their were still seats available, my son is asking him why he acting like that, they both were talking loud when the driver hit him and pushed him, my son never touched him trying to catch his balance his fingers hit the drivers glasses. When the police arrives the driver tried to say that my son assaulted him, then the passengers that were on the bus came off to tell the police that my son did not touch him, that the driver was the aggressor.
If my son would of been the aggressor he would of been locked up, they did not do anything to me or my son because we did nothing and all the passengers know we did nothing. I then asked the lady that approached me I assumed she was the manager or supervisor, what should I do about getting on another bus, she said that she going to get me on another bus I said ok. I then go to the upper level to get a ticket for a later time, the lady told me to come back at 630a. When I returned to her at 630am she stated to me why I didn't tell her about the situation that happened earlier and that the supervisor said that I can't ride greyhound for me to go pay again at peterpan and gave me a card to call for a refund.
Greyhound is a very huge company that has been around for years I always travel with this company and never encounter anything like this. I do know that if their were no seats on the bus the system would of told me sold out. I felt embarrassed and ashamed, I would never use greyhound again, I would like to have a refund thank you

Didn’t travel very far, lost my luggage
So travels for Miami to Ocala the only stop we had that we had to get off the bus was in Orlando. I didn’t think to check my bag because we were getting right back on the same bus so I get to Ocalla. My bag is not where I put it on the bus in Miami now they’re saying they have to locate my bag got an email a couple days ago saying they have not been able to locate my bag but they’re going to continue to look for it now. What is the purpose of putting a tag on the bag if it’s just gonna get taken by somebody else anyways my whole life was in that bag. The only clothes that I own were in that bag I will never be right in Greyhound again and it messed up thing is if you can’t get a hold of anybody to take care of you and to help you it’s like they don’t even care.
Desired outcome: I would like to find my stuff that’s what I would like. I’d like to get my bag back with all my clothes in it.
Bus driver conduct
Today October 7 2022 I Jeff Smith was riding bus no. 86750.. The bus was scheduled to be at Elizabeth City N.C. my departure location at 8:45 a.m.. The bus wasn't at the pick up location until sometime after 9:00 a m.
After boarding the bus due to health and body functions I had too relieve myself and had to have a bowel movement.. After using the restroom the bus driver embarrassed me in front of all the passengers and scolded me that I shouldn't utilize the the toilet to drop crap .. That I just left Elizabeth City.. This is horrible. I am so embarrassed before the public.. I have to use the bathroom now and I can not use it because the bus driver locked the door. I am very distraught and am in pain emotionally mentally and physically...
Desired outcome: File a civil complaint for the tortious behavior of the greyhound bus driver. Seeking compensation for the embarrassing event and compensation for the inconveniences of not being able to utilize the restroom
My husband died
My husband and I rode the bus 06/23 to 06/28. The bus took off with everything we owned in Amarillo, Tx. I asked the manager to stop the bus but he refused. Our meds, my purse, my laptop, etc all were on the bus plus our two bags under the bus. The blood thinner my husband needed was on the bus. He died as a result of being without it. I still haven't received our bags and it has been impossible to speak to a person.
Desired outcome: I want to be financially compensated now. At first, we just wanted our bags. But this has become so much more
your bus drivers unethical practices
On return trip Oct 3 from Minneapolis Mn to Grand Forks ND the final leg driver from Brainard Mn to Grand Forks spent the entire trip on his personal phone and eating his snacks. Really? Is this your driver protocol?

loss of luggage
I had a planned trip to Jackson Mississippi from Minneapoils Minnesota on February 3. On that day we arrived in Chicago Illnois and put our luggage from Mineapolis on another bus going to Indiana. had to turn around and get on another bus. the bus driver put us on the wrong bus. so we had to turn around to get the right bus. because dispatched called and said we were on the wrong bus got back to the terminal, the bus driver said for us to remain on the bus . he will transfer the luggage . we was running late. the next state we had to get our luggage off in the next state we had a layover and i went to get my luggage and it wasent there. i need to be compensated more than 250.00 for a month of my belongings. i had no clothes for the whole 30 days i was there.

On Sept 8,2022 @11:45am, I loaded the bus from Columbia, SC heading to Dickinson, North Dakota. This included several connecting bus rides. After stopping in Charleston, West Virgina and then proceeding to Parkersburg, West Virginia, I was told that my next connecting bus ride had already departed. Hopeful, I waited 18 hours at the bus station in Parkersburg for the next bus BACK to Charleston where I was told there would be another connecting bus up north that would arrive to North Dakota by 6:45pm. I was able to make it to Chicago, Illinois at 2:15 pm on Saturday. But when I arrived in Chicago, hoping to catch my connecting bus to Dickinson, North Dakota, I was told that I was given INCORRECT INFORMATION and the bus was not expected to arrive until 9:45 pm on that Sunday. I needed to start training for a job on that Sunday at 7pm and if I did not report, I would have lost my job. I ended up having to book a taxi to the airport and taking a flight costing $532 to North Dakota.
I am requesting a refund for my bus ticket. I did not get to my destination at the scheduled time, and it was through NO fault of my own. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

3. Soliciting help for reports of threats and kidnapping while at the bus stop.

9/16/22 1230 pm my son is on a grey hound bus from baltimore md to denver co when they arrived in indianapolis in they where told there would be a 2 hour delay leave your belongings on the bus then they where told that they would baord another bus to retrieve there belongings then they where told to board the new bus after boarded they where told not to get off bus it would depart so they sat on this bus for 2 hours waiting to leave it was 95 degrees in indianapolis and the bus was not running so there was no air coditioner on with a full bus of people children and elderly after a 5 hour delay the bus departed ferre hut in with no air conditioner which was broken and the emergency hatch open drive down the interstate is this what we paid money for this trip and you cant speak to some one really

I booked a trip from detroit to knoxville Tennessee for September 6th. We just got to Cincinnati and they said no driver until 9/7 @11:30 am!
This is unacceptable service! I can’t be stuck somewhere i no nooone and have no place to go! I have to be in knoxville for work. Now because of poor service I won’t make it! I need a refund or some accommodations for this! Unacceptable!

Not having a bus driver in time of scheduled trip
My greyhound bus arrived in Chicago at 6:15 am on 8/14/22. After 4.5 hours of a 4 3/4 hour layover, they announced they do not have a bus driver. They advised if anyone’s destination was Milwaukee, they could take another bus. That was my next stop but not my destination of Madison WI. They did not give a time they would have a bus driver for my original scheduled bus. So I took the Milwaukee bus, as it was closer to my destination. My sister was in the hospital and I needed to keep my scheduled arrival time to care for her child that night. I feel I did not get what I paid for…a full trip.

Avner N Sawyer, 1959 Dale Evans Way, Kingman AZ, 86409. I Left Phoenix, AZ At 9.3p am, July 15th, 2022, going to Kingman AZ thru Flagstaff. We stopped at Approx. 11.00 am outside of Flagstaff at a bus stop were the driver left the bus untinned with no type of security for his passengers. no camara to see what going on. Durin this time I was asleep minding my own business. when i was woke up with a large force in my face. This crazy man was in the isle punching like hell. I had been punched in the nose breaking it, and I was bleeding all over the place. Was afraid he may have a gun. This man was crazy. I have never seen this man before. I am 87 years old, traveling alone. I love traveling by bus, cannot travel anymore by myself. He [censored] arrested in Flagstaff for assault and was transported to jail where he is awaiting trial. I believe the bus line was in neglect and should be held accountable for their actions in this matter. They should step up and give something to offset for damages receive by the person assaulted. nose buster had to be reset, mental problems dreams, pain, and things that will never go away. You need better safety measures on your busses then you will have more seniors traveling with you. We need to feel saft when traveling with you. I hope I can get 50.000 to some of this to go away. At 87 my years are imited.

Bus never showed
15 kids were traveling from LA, CA to Phoenix. AZ. They purchased tickets to travel Aug 7th at 8:30am. The bus never came. Greyhound told them a bus will take them at 2:30p. They waited and the bus did not show up either. They requested a refund and were told the tickets were non-refundable. How can that be? They were there and Greyhound failed to provide the service. The tickets were paid in cash, at $80 each for $1,200 total.

Elderly abuse perpetrated by greyhound bus driver
On 8/20th, the bus driver demanded my 88y/o mother who is vision impaired get off the bus after my 82y/o father had stepped off the bus to get her something to drink. Her English is very limited thus unable to speak for speak for herself. The bus driver then proceeded to leave while taking my parent’s luggage. They were left stranded in Baltimore, MD.
Desired outcome: I would like that bus driver fired and charged with elderly abuse.
