Great Clips service received by *Juana* on 06-03-2022 @ salon 1552 in Phoenix AZ

Coming in with an outgrown Pixie cut and asking for a trim, but not trimming the neck as short as last time- and on record- should be a simple enough request.

Juana proceeded talking about her expertise and how she spent thousands of dollars in foreign countries on vacation but wrote them off as work expenses in her taxes- I don't really care- but she should have recognized the grown-out Pixie.

I had to remove my glasses and could not exactly see what she was doing, but the result was a trendy GENTLEMANS haircut- which I commented right away, military high-n-tight or WWII senior Men's haircut. And she had no care in the world- even wants me to come back in 30 days.

I wonder what for?! There is no hair to trim for now at least 6 months. I have to wear a scarf to cover this butcher job or a cut- because I can NOT show up like this in my work. Trying to style different ways for 2 days to make it work- didn't work. Left messages at the store for the manager to call back- never heard back. Very disappointed and sad of client treatment by Juana and manager of this location. Will reconsider this location after 22 years!

Desired outcome: Please refund and offer a REAL apology for mindless uncaring treatment. The customer tells you what they want- WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN??

Great Clips Posted business hours

I visited the LaGrange location on May 9, 2022 at approximately 10 am. Online it states that the salon is open from 10 am until 7 pm. The salon was NOT open. I (along with 2 others) stood outside the store until 10:15 am. I also checked the local Facebook page for any updates. Nothing was posted online to alert customers of any changes. I wasted my time and my gas at this location and I will NOT return. If they cannot accurately describe their business hours, then I don’t want them messing with my hair! I would advise others to steer clear of this salon.

Great Clips Haircut

Date of visit: 5/4/2022 @approx. 5:15pm

Michelle was running the shop entirely by herself. It was obvious she was tired and flustered but she did tell us she would cut our hair. After she finished cutting her customer's hair, she checked us in as apparently our phone numbers and names had been entered into the system incorrectly. She was gruff but I assumed it was just from being there by herself, so I tried to remain patient. She took me first to cut my hair. Admittedly, I had dead ends that needed trimming but I asked her to keep most of my length. She literally took less than 15 minutes to cut my hair, the whole time talking about how my hair was thin textured (it is not), easily knots (it doesn't), that there was breakage because I bleach it too much (true but I did not need her input - I explained what happened but she had her own thoughts so whatever) and sharing her political theories (fine but not my thoughts nor did I care). I was not happy at the time with how quickly she cut my hair but she seemed proud at how quickly she cuts. She cut my Mom's hair next (Mom has short hair) and she did a better job with her but also very quickly. I got home and was noticing how uneven it is. I washed it today and put it in pig tails only to find a literal 2 inch difference on either side. She probably took a good 6 inches of hair. Even my boyfriend commented how short it was and how butchered when I* FaceTimed with him. I was about in tears because as a cancer survivor it has taken me years to get my hair to the length I wanted. I will have to go to another salon now and pay more money to get this catastrophe straightened out and they will have to cut even more hair to get it even. My Mom tipped Michelle $20 because she felt so badly for her having to work by herself, but had I realized how badly she messed up my hair, I would not only have NOT tipped her, I would not have paid for the hair cut. This is unacceptable and I am extremely angry about the state of my hair. I know it will grow back, but after all I have gone through to get my hair long again, I feel it is salt in the wound. And I specifically told her I wanted to keep most of my length which means 6"+ being whacked off is unacceptable. In truth I want my 6"+ hair back and not to have made the mistake of going to see Michelle and letting her near my hair. I usually have the best experiences with Great Clips but this was a abysmal failure.

Great Clips Haircut

I took my son's in Sunday to get hair cuts and I felt obligated to pay but I really didn't want too they messed up both my son's hair and also gave my one son a burn on the back of the neck from clippers that was not told till we were in the car but yeah. They each went two two different stylist and it was just awful and rushed and they did not know how to cut hair at all I came to greatclips cause where I normally take them was closed for a couple days. I definitely will never take them back I will use the clippers at home and mess up their hair myself before ever going back to a greatclips they were simply cuts as well didn't make any sense.

Great Clips Hacked hair cut

3/2/22 checked in on line. arrived and had 8 minutes per phone. Stylist #1 was cutting hair, Stylist #2 did a load of laundry, then ate her lunch while I was sitting in lobby. Son came in and they talked and made phone calls and she actually came from the back and asked him if he wanted a bite of lunch. about 10 minutes later, I was called to sit. I should have left beforhand. Sat me down, and started hacking away. Wanted the back cut like a bob and she continued to talk to her son and back away from the chair and then cut some and talk and return. It was very disturbing as I didn't think she was paying attention to me, talking to her son. The back was cut and I paid cash and did leave a tip cause I just wanted to get out of there and she didn't offer me a receipt. Note that son was still there and jabbering away. Not very professional at all. got home and my husband was appalled the way the back of my hair looked. Such a hack job. never going back there again. I think her sign said Manager and her first name started with a L but I couldn't read it as I didn't have my glasses on.

Desired outcome: The hair is cut there is no outcome expected. A refund would be appreciated and an apology from the stylist.

I went online to schedule my appt this morning. A customer sitting next to me in wait area downloaded the site and scheduled that way. Neither of us were satisfied with that type of scheduling, for we sat way past the scheduled time. Great Clips Service for Maxwell Kettlitz

02/06/22

Prior to online check-in, I called the Kuna Great Clips to verify that the stylists could cut 3 and 4C hair. I was told that all of the stylists could in fact cut 3& 4C hair.

When we arrived, the stylist could not find a pick to comb through my sons 3C hair. She did locate a wide tooth comb and used that. After she started cutting my son's hair, she realized that she did not know how to cut curly hair. She called another stylist over to see if she could help. The stylist (Mary) told her that she would take over my son's cut. Then Mary returned to the customer she was originally helping and said loud enough for me in the lobby to here," It would be nice if They would pick their hair out first". I have never before been told that if you have 3C hair, you should do your hair before you go to get your hair done. Utter nonsense. That is what I am paying you to do. Then when she cut my son's hair it was completely lopsided. The fade was also uneven and not a fade at all, leaving my son looking like he cut it himself. I was so angry at the way my son's hair came out, and how he was referred to as They, that I just paid my bill and left. My son was in near tears, because he wanted to look nice for his dance coming up this Friday. The absolute worst part is that my son asked me who she meant when she said THEY should pick their hair out before coming. I am a paying customer. If you are not able to perform a service for which you are being paid for, just say so and I will take my business and money elsewhere. Do not ever think it is ok to racially profile/ insult a customer because you cannot fulfill the service for which you are being paid. Especially when dealing with a 14-year-old who completely understands what you said, and the content in which you said it. I have been a customer of Great Clips for nearly 10 years. I have never left one of your stores with the horrible feelings that I had at your Kuna Great Clips.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology. A review on racial sensitivity in order to not alienate any of the clients who pay for your services. Honesty and integrity are everything.

Great Clips Unethical behaviour

I spoke to Sean and he told me he does perms and I told him my mom was elderly and needed a perm when she moved in with me. He said just give him a call and he would book her an appointment and he gave me his contact information. After my mom moved in she needed a perm and I called and Sean said he was having some staffing issues but he hoped to have them resolved soon and he took my information and said he would call me back. He never called me back and I called him back and he was rude saying they decided not to do perms until the staffing issues were resolved. I recently thought the staffing issues are surely resolved and I went in and got my haircut and I asked the people working (that were just sitting around when I cam in and there was no wait to get a haircut) if they were doing Perms again and they said yes they were and even the person that cut my hair (Diana) said she does perms. My mom tried calling and finally reached Sean who said they were not doing perms. Well someone lied to me and I believe it was him from what I witnessed and heard with my own eyes and ears.

Desired outcome: Get the salon to give my mom a perm and reprimand or fire Sean for his unethical behavior.

Great Clips service

lytle texas i hate to say it but i will never go to that great clips again the new staff driver in a white pickup almost hit me speeding through the lot just to avoid a speed bump and parking in the front parking. i was waiting for haircut as walk in no prob someone comes in checking in online but the women thought i was deaf when they go in back saying id ont wanna cut that gringos hair and the other that literally was doing nothing but playing on phone over 40 min waiting said just put the other guy walking in say he checked online and theres that . then the lady said i dont need go to lunch but im taking it earlier so one of yall enjoy that gringo so i just left w/o saying anything. enough racism in this damn country as is and that was worse treatment then i get at my job and i get alot of it so yea im done w/ great clips in general and if yall know what im talkn bout post likje me and have a great day god bless everyone

Great Clips hair cut

tues 12/7/21 at 950 am I visited great clips appleseed center mansfield ohio
Invoice #506414 salon#2943 I have gotten my hair cuts there for many years.
on this day this girl cut my hair she was so rough with the clippers I was almost in tears. I bet I was not in the chair 3 minutes and she raced to cut and scrape my head . now I know I dont have the hair I used to. but I am still a paying customer and was charged 14.00$ for the scrape and cut. this is [censored]!. I called the corporate number but still no one has contacted me. the power of the pen will prevail .

Desired outcome: apology maybe couple free cuts.

Great Clips Service

Date: sunday 21, 21... Store: riggs & mcqueen in chandler, az... Wth is going on with great clips? Firing good workers and hiring crap... This salon had great workers and only one left is sheral that works her butt off then it had a great manager becky that you fired for what ever [censored] reason then hired some idiot that is never there! Went to sign in sunday for our hairs cuts right at 10am when they open and it was already 3 hour wait... Then to come find out is that there was only 1 worker named sheral working alone cause the other worker was a no show or call... The manager wanted to close the salon for the day and lose money... That manager should of got off of their [censored] and went in to back up their worker... That manager should not have a job! All in all sheral is a awesome awesome worker!

Great Clips Haircut

I got my hair cut at the Edgewater location recently ([protected] @3:13 pm). It was a horrible experience. The person ("Jacq")who cut my haircut was extremely rude and belligerent and refused to listen to anything that I said. She decided to cut my hair the way that SHE wanted to, rather than what I wanted. I'm was extremely offended by this treatment and I cannot believe that Great Clips would really tolerate this kind of grossly offensive behavior. A truly terrible experience.

Desired outcome: I never should have payed for this travesty and I would at least expect to receive a full refund. Furthermore, if the company has any integrity at all they will immediately terminate their association with this person..

Great Clips Customer service

My teen daughter and i did online check in at the terrell, tx 75160 location [protected]) when we get there we were next in line on the screen monitr.=. Rep asks my phone number says we are not checked in, i told her we are next in line on your screen. She said oh..Ok. We sit down, she goes to her work station and clearly piddled around for 10 minutes. Then comes to waiting area and tells this lady you and you son have been waitng a long time, let me get you two next. The lady declinded and said mam we are online check in and are 4th in line. So instead of calling us next she goes and sweeps hair before finally calling my name. Then as soon as i sit down another hair stylist calls out two male names, and the lady i was with pointed to my daughter and told her that young lady is next. She ignores her and calls another customer name, one who had walked in like one minute before. So i told them both my daughter was next! the lady about to start on my hair goes to computer says what name is it under, i tell her and she proceeds to say her name is not on the list! i said you confirmed both our names when we came in! one of you two deleted it or you are lying because from the moment we walked in you made us feel unwelcomed and like you did not want to cut our hair! first by telling me we were not checked in, when our names were clearly on the screen, then you piddled around and call another person who was not next, and then the other lady skipped right over my daughter. I was so uppset and disappointed. I feel it was definately a racism issue. We were the only two hispanics there and they jumped to attend the other customers who were white and tried their best to not service us. I did not get thei names bu this happened saturday 11/13/2021, around noon time, one was older lady in first booth to the right, the other young lady first booth on the left as you walk in.

Great Clips Haircut requested was not done as explained to stylist

On 11.8.21 at kunia Market place I asst. My husband Jesse O. With getting a haircut. The Stylist Sheila told me she was understanding how I wanted the hair cut. My husband is hard of hearing, she did cut it not how I had told her and was very inexperienced in her reply! I feel not comfortable to go back there to get a haircut again. I would appreciate you're response!

Great Clips Recent haircut

My granddaughter, age 15, just had her hair cut at Great Clips, Berwick on Ogeechee Road, Savannah, Georgia by "Walter". She came out of the shop in tears as she was very unhappy with the haircut. She showed him a picture of the cut she wished and he told her she could only get that style by "curling" her hair. The picture plainly showed hair that was "layered", which is what she was asking for. When she came out, her hair had not one layer much less several. Her hair is long and should have had many layers, which has nothing to do with "curling". Walter should have told her he didn't know how to layer hair and we could have gone somewhere else. She also had a knot in the back of her hair and instead of combing it out, he cut a big swatch of her hair. I assume this was his solution to rid knots. I realize I should have gone in with her, but had just gone across the street to get gas and had no idea the haircut would only take 15 minutes! Please contact Nelson Oglesby [protected] to resolve this issue. Thank you. Appt. was around 5 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2021.

I observed the way the hair trimmers trim hair. They do not know how to layer. They just cut a bit here and there then blow dry to style. No, they do not do a good job. I just wasted my money and tip.

Great Clips Haircut.

Worst haircut I have ever gotten. I was balded on the sides by the stylist gloria cloud, she was so busy talking and acting important, that she cut my side bald and my top was horrendous. I wanted a short basic radial cut, 4 inches on top 3 inches on side to comb back. I was suppose to go to a shower this month, but I am so ashamed of my haircut, and my son is coming for a visit and I am ashamed for him to see my hair.. She cut a friend of mines hair and left long hair and short hair all over..

Desired outcome: SHE SHOULD BE REPREMENDED AND TOLD TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO CUSTOMER AND DO NOT USE CLIPPERS ON WOMEN UNLESS SHE KNOWS HO AND SHE DID NOT..
