I have purchased glasses from Glasses USA in the past [protected]) with generally satisfactory results. Recent purchases have been an entirely different matter.
I ordered three pairs of similar glasses, with the same prescription, in two orders, on the same day, and paid for expedited shipping. One pair was delivered in approximately 10 business days. Unfortunately, the polarization "grid" in the glasses is so heavily visible that they are virtually unusable. They are being returned. The other two pair were still "in processing" at 10 business days. I was finally able to contact a live agent (maybe?) who indicated that the "complex prescription" required additional processing time, but they would ship in two business days. Two days came and went, then two more, and still "in processing" after 14 business days. The best a live agent (?) could offer is "you will be notified when they ship".
Attempts to speak with a human being have been farcical. There is no conceivable way to speak to a human by phone at Glasses USA. The "live chat" feature is absurdly inadequate. After telling the AI "AGENT, AGENT, AGENT, again and again I was finally connected with a (real?) human. Still the responses were obviously cut-and-paste with no meaningful interaction or information provided.
I will never shop at Glasses USA again. There are far too many reputable competitors. I would encourage you to do likewise.
