Fry's Food Steak, not real

I purchased some sirloinvsteak from Fry's in Arizona, Cottonwood about 4 months ago, in July and have not purchased any meat since. Though tge package was freshly packaged, looked fresh, as I was cooking it, it stunk, it was not real meat and it was not rotten, I took 1 bite and it did not taste like real meat. I have not ate any meat from your store ever since a d have warned people I know regarding this. You need to list on your package that you ate selling cloned so called meat, or that its grown in labs. I'm sure your sales will be down. You list all those hundreds of dollars from me in the last few months which will keep accumulating of more losses for your company. It smelt worse then liver, I cannot even describe ir, it smalt and tasted so disgusting, I would not even give it to my dogs. People are not going to accept lab grown meat, or fake meat, cloned meat. Its utterly different. Cows are not the issue with the climate, its the corporations greed that is. I even said "is this human flesh" because it was that bad.

Desired outcome: I want my $50 back for all the fake meat (yet labeled re) back.

If your buying the cheap meat that's on sale that's cause it expired and yah it turns green and can get you sick, and people like you that don't wanna spend a Lil more suffer for it,that meat should be thrown away, but I understand they lose money if they throw it

Fry's Food Customer service / staff / contact front door security

I am a shopper at most all Fry's grocery stores. I like the products because of the reasonable prices. However I've experienced problems with staff. For example, about 3 weeks ago, my son was unjustly told to leave and not return. There was no cause for that. An hour after the incident, I and several supporters went to Tucson Grant & Swan Fry's store to find out why this occurred. We spoke to a manager, Hispanic, (Michael I think) and found it was a misunderstanding. A security, a dark haired Hispanic woman, made some threatening comments to my son, told him not to return. It scared him, he's disabled and has not gone back to shop as of today. I still shop there, like yesterday, Nov.18,2022. The Hispanic lady security was at the front. There are also certain Fry's employees who are really rude to customers; very possibly responsible for spreading gossips about customers. E.g. black lady, 60-69 yrs, 5'8", then another Hispanic guy non-employee, who's been rumored to carry a backpack to walk the aisle stealing potato chips, etc. He seems to talk to these people and security, lying that I or my son should be excluded from the store for so-called"stealing"or for carrying in a backpack. We do not steal. We've bought foods and products worth $100 to $700 in one shopping before. A couple of times, I've filled two carts (to stock up). Currently, after I get done with shopping I usu. cart over to the coffee shop, to wait for my taxi ride home. Yesterday that was what I was doing and I was rudely stopped and asked for my grocery receipt by the lady security guard as I was leaving. That would seem normal but she's the same security with whom the manager and our friends and myself had an encounter over her picking on my son & asking him to leave, without good cause. She also obviously speaks with Fry's staff like that black lady, who was in the front self-checkout. I saw her talking to the lady security yesterday. Not long after, the security stopped me before I left. No doubt that black lady staff and her praised each other with"high fived" as I left. This is harassment. I request this be stopped, as Michael, manager previously had spoken to the lady security to be fair. But she lets every shopper pass by her and never asks for receipts. We don't want to quit shopping at Fry's. Please resolve. Thank you. [protected]@ymail.com. Ms. Hardeman.

Fry's Food Fuel points

Las week I attempted to buy gas using my fuel points, but the pump did not register my phone number correctly, so I paid retail for the gas, about $24.00 at the pump in Prescott, Arizona on Fair Avenue and then today I tried to fill the tank in Prescott Valley, Arizona, but it did not show points available, so the attendant sent me to customer service inside the store, where I was told that my phone number [protected] is linked to three Shopper cards. I am not sure how I lost the last card, but I did. The one before that was stolen when someone stole my wallet. Supposedly my points were put on the replacement card about a week ago. The new card is [protected] 6 The lady at the customer service desk wrote down several toll free numbers, so I went back out to my car, plugged my cell phone into the charger and started the engine. I spent almost an hour on hold, then got a man who put me on hold again so he could check something. He never came back on the line, but Claudia came on the line, so I explained everything again. She had me go to the pump and try entering my phone number as alternate ID, AND she had me try using the card ending in 203016. I even went to the cashier and tried to put $50 on the pump with the 40 cent discount, but she got "NO FUEL POINTS AVAILABLE Then Claudia said she was filing a report with the IT department, and told me to go ahead home, and someone would call me. Well, that was almost 6 hours ago. I am leaving for California tomorrow, November 19th to take care of my sister who is having surgery. In order to even go back to the gas station, I have to go out of my way into Prescott Valley (50 miles) instead of using the Fain Road bypass which would save a lot of miles. I have heard a recording from one of the robots that sounds like I have 470 points expiring this month, plus over 100 that have to be used in December. As near as I can tell, you have no stores in California, period, so unless I can find a Circle K , I am going to lose those points, and their pumps do not permit entering the phone number. You have to slide the card into the reader, and so far, the card does not show any points.

Please look up my account from the phone number and delete the two cards I do not have, and then maybe the points will be on the card ending 20501 6

If anyone reads this on Saturday morning, please call me and tell me what to do. The automated phone robots ask only very specific questions, so i

cannot explain that there are two cards that need to be voided. If I do not hear from you before noon, I will have to buy gas at full price and take the Fain Road bypass, because I do not believe to points are attached to the card, in which case going to the Fry's station solves nothing. I will not have anything except the cell phone above once I leave my home at noon, and I will be driving to Needles, California to sped the night, and there are no other Fry's markets the rest of the way to Northern California. If there is no other alternative perhaps you can allow me to use the points in January and February while you sort out the problem

The woman who works self checkout named mel or Melanie is the worst most miserable employee who actively picks fights with customers while refusing to provide basic service that her job requires of her even her co workers voiced that she is like that with most everyone and not to take it personally because she does it all the time. Fry's Food Extremely poor customer service

The Fry's store on 51st ave and Baseline in Laveen Arizona has continued to decline in customer service, supply and cleanliness of the store. I have given this store so many chances over the past 3 years but today was enough. I called the deli department several times. They either don't answer or they answer and hang up immediately. I asked for a general manger and all I got was excuses and told to go online to place an order. No attempt to resolve the situation on the phone at all. BTW, this is not the first time this has happened at this store. This happens all the time with the departments hanging up or not answering. This was the first time I asked for a manager and the last time I'll ask for a manger. They obviously have no care to resolve their departments poor customer service.

Desired outcome: For their departments to answer their phones and not answer and immediately hang up on a customer and for the management to resolve the issues at point of contact.

I'm giving this 1 star not because of the store (I love this store) but because of the people working the self checkout out and the manager in charge tonight October 31. I have never had a problem with the other ladies working register on the contrary they have always been really nice & have helped resolve whatever problem...

Fry's Food Handicap parking spots

I have always, for the past 40 years, had good, friendly service. I shop at Fry's on McDowell / 77th St - Scottsdale. I occasionally go to the Fry's on Indian School & Miller in Scottsdale. Never a rude employee in either store.

But, this is my complaint:::

I drive a handicapped friend to the Fry's on McDowell & 77th St in Scottsdale. There seems to be more up-front, drive-up / pick-up spaces than handicap. Why take away the handicap spaces to accommodate the lazy people who used to shop on their own? I'm sorry, but I often have to hold up traffic to drop off my handicap friend, so I can drive around to find a space.

Then I have to hold up traffic again to pick her up and load the car. I am blessed to be able to shop for myself, and park across the parking lot. I have seen some people struggling to walk that far, due to no handicap spaces available because of the pick-up spaces or the handicap spaces were moved further away from the doors.

Desired outcome: I, along with others, would like to see these pick-up spaces moved further down, so the handicap spaces can be put back where they were for the convenience of the true handicapped. Thank you

Fry's Food Instacart

I have tried for months to get an answer on this to no avail.

Instacart refuses to let the shoppers shop at any other fry's but the one on 43rd and McDowell . They continue to have fulfillment problems. I had to cancel the shopping for $325 of groceries because they were out of the items. I don't understand how you can afford to lose that kind of money usually once a month. The shoppers have no problem shopping at the Bethany home and 43rd Ave store they say but Instacart gives them direct orders to only use the McDowell store. Fry's say they have no control and Instacart has refused me, not giving any reason. There is a 2 mile difference I think. I have always gotten all I've needed from the Bethany store. This, of course causes a lot of extra expense because I have to arrange for more trips which aren't cheap.

Also, I don't understand if you do inventory why you don't know up front what items you don't have before I finalize my order.

Thank you for your attention to this.

Answer the Fry's in Cottonwood Arizona uses instacart. I had ordered 4 items from fries to have it delivered. Instacart does their deliveries. When my delivery arrived I got seven times more than what I ordered and what I ordered says out of stock and no charge. I did not order the things that I received. Not any of them. But frys charged me for them at $159. So I was pretty much paying for somebody else's order and I refused the order but that did not stop frys from billing me. When I called Fry's they would not take any responsibility and blamed it all on instacart even though it was dry as I ordered through and fries I paid through. Fry's was taking absolutely no responsibility for the order. I did call my bank to stop payment and they you should not have told me it could be up to 10 days after investigation absolutely ridiculous

Fry’s on 83rd avenue. Phoenix Arizona. This is my second complaint in one week on this store regarding customer service/. Rude. Fry’s please retrain your people about courtesy or invest in robots that are programmed to be friendly. I had to return bread that had a whole in the bag and was accused of having a rat. I have no issues with rats and maybe this location should consider if they have the problem with rats. Store needs refurbishment. Store has been through changes for decades and it’s time for changes inside and out. Managers included

Fry's Food Products and services

I went to Frys on 8325 West Indian School Road and saw a gallon of orange juice on the shelf that was 3.99 marked down from 4.59. I checked the tag to match the product and the price was correct. However, as a customer I do not know that it was suppose to be removed after it was on the shelf for 2 months. Imagine how many people purchased this product not knowing the tag needed to change. Once I brought it up to the cashier (CHEC525) at 7:59 am on 9/13/2022, I received a horrible response. She said; very "snidely" "well if it doesn't have a sticker than that is the price." After bringing this to the attention to someone who stocks (Mohammed), he agreed that it was their error and corrected it, but that does not excuse the cashiers lack of care. These days and in that particular community, it is very important that there is compassion for customers who are trying to save every penny. The cashier could have did a price check from the station by simply picking up the phone to confirm. A little kindness and extra service to correct the stores error can be very helpful and keep me coming to this store. Maybe it is time for that cashier to get another job doing something that she loves.

Desired outcome: I received the price and Mohammed removed the error. However, I wanted a apology from that cashier as I would have in her position.

Fry's Food Fry's mastercard

I was hounded by a sales associate at the Frye's supermarket in Mesa, Arizona to get a Fry's Mastercard to get $0.55 off along with your Fry's fuel points. on 9/4/2022, I was in Prescott, AZ and went to a Fry's Fuel service. The credit card was used; we did all the prompts, and the pump said I had no fuel points in which I had 680 according to my APP. Furthermore, the $0.55 was not deducted as well. Before getting my gas, I spoke with an associate at the pumps in which he tried the card as well which gave him the same information that I had no fuel points. I got enough gas to make it make to Mesa. Going to my regular pumps in mesa today 9/5/2022. Again, the card gave the same error message. The sales associate in Mesa gave me a piece of preprinted paper asking Why savings were not received at the pump? I called the 855.576.7587 and was passed through to 3 different numbers. Now, I have been on the phone for 32:28 minutes with no resolution.

Desired outcome: For my card to work properly and refunded for the 15 gallons of gas I purchased including my fuel points of 680 and $0.55 per gallon

Fry's Food Corona Light Free Mission Tortilla chips

Hi,

There was a tag under the corona light that offered a free bag of mission tortilla chips if you purchased corona. I went to the check out and it did not come out free. I asked the representative and he didn't even know there was an offer for a free bag. He went to the aisle to check it out. He came back and said that the chips had to be under the price of 2.99. I went to find chips under $2.99 and you don't sell the Mission tortilla chips for that price. It was all $3.49. I tried to find the other brand of chips offered for free but they weren't sold at the store. I believe this is false advertising. I wasted 15 minutes trying to get a bag of chips that wasn't possible to get for free. I am requesting that you take down that tag so as not to deceive any more customers. I called the store manager and she didn't say sorry that happened or anything just said I'll talk to the general manager. There was no plan of action to take these things down. I feel very deceived. I would also like an explanation as to why you offer something for free that can't possibly be given for free as the price of the chips exceeds the $2.99 limit.

Desired outcome: I would like proof that this tag is taken down so that customers are not deceived anymore.

Fry's Food An employee

Hello, I come to your store quite often here in Tucson Arizona, the store off of Grant and Swan. One of your employees has been nothing but rude and inconsiderate every time I shop there along with miss treating other employees, her Name is Monica, not sure what her last name is but I do not think she should be acting this way towards customers along with staff members. I had come in one night and I had paid for my items and then my family was in her line, all she asked was “did you pay for that” after showing her the receipt multiple times, she wasn’t focusing on the order she had been working on all she did was give me dirty looks along with being sarcastic and never even smiled or anything. I’m not sure if this is the kind of person you want working in your store but she is very disrespectful and no one she be treated the way she treats people. Hopefully this finds the right person and something is done about her attitude and the disrespect that she gives to customers and staff members!

Fry's Food manager

I called to speak with the manager of the Frys at 1st St & Roger, Tucson, AZ and she was mechanical and inhumane AND she hung up on me for using the word "Disagree" she said what so I repeated it which is when she hung up on me. I was not aware disagree was a curse word or even anything worthy of hanging up on someone for. The reason I called she wasn't going to review so I ask that you do. I have a trauma about having someone behind me. I called and ASKED, did not tell didn't have an attitude, until now, that she maybe offer some training to the self - checkers to social distance, 6 ft, as per covid regulations which she claimed were over, which would have HELPED me not have someone not walk close enough behind me to trigger my trauma not just once but twice. There really is NO EXCUSE for this on a self checker. If you are worried about shop lifters come in front and face someone do not creep up behind them and look over their shoulder doing god knows what else. REALLY REALLY thinking about complaining to the health board for the social distancing violations that the manager claimed need not be observed anymore.

Desired outcome: employees should approach someone who is doing nothing wrong only from the front AND social distance 6 feet.

Fry's Food Simple Truth Extra Large Cooked Shrimp

Shrimp is not Deveined and it says that it is. It's not cut open on the back like other shrimp that is deveined. I bought it at 107th ave and Grand Sun City AZ. I asked the butcher why it looked like it wasn't deveined and the package says it is. He lied and said it was that I just had to wait until it was defrosted.

Desired outcome: I want the Head manager of the factory who packages and processes these shrimp to fix the problem do it right because they are very expensive

Fry's Food Store Employees

I'm A Vendor at Fry's 11 and I just have to say Jeff and the store manager are the rudest employees I know. We arrive on Saturday June 25th for a delivery in receiving... No one answers so we can the store... No answer there either... Have to drive around to the front to get into the store to make our delivery. They make us wait for 5 to 10 mins just to get on and out of this store cuz they think they need to finish they're pallet first or something. Please I'm tired of their rudeness they need to be fired asap. Thank you!

Fry's Food Rude, profiling, making comments,

My husband and I always come in to the fry's around town and between the swan and Grant store and 22nd and alvernon store the workers and the security guards they are always watching us super close and making comments that were gonna steal something. It is very upsetting because we work very hard and we have money to pay for all we get and the security guard working at 10:30am on may 3rd at Grant and swan made us feel very uncomfortable and honestly we wanted to just leave what we went in there to purchase but we bought it and she asked the clerk if we paid for everything and gave us dirty looks all the way out

I went to 4150 E 22nd St. Tucson AZ 85711. I put all my groceries on the belt. I have a budget and had some much food stamps. I had my phone out for her to scan my card from the app. She said I was up to $300. I had to put stuff back. I thought she scanned it. She gave me the receipt. I looked at it and there were no discounts. I had to back into the store...

Fry's Food Customer service at store 2727 w. Bell. I was treated very badly and ignored by a cashier.

I was at the store 2727 w bell in the self check out when a woman named Anafreena allowed a man to cut in front of me and later when I asked her for help she told me that the other cashier would help me as she walked away. I witnessed her assist 4 other white customers in the time she refused to help me. When I asked her for her name as I felt I was treated poorly, she refused to give me her name and told me to go ask a manager. I had no other interaction with her. You have cameras. You will see that all I did was ask her for help and ask for her name. I have no other reason to think she acted this way towards me other than she was racially profiling me since she helped the white customers but refused to help me and we had no other interaction. Please don’t allow this to go on. I have never had this happen before at your store. I love everyone there. I address the employees there by name. This was such a horrible experience that I’m actually considering shopping at a different location. Please address this and do not allow her to treat customers this way.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response. I don’t know what you can do to make this better but please don’t ignore my complaint.I would appreciate an apology from her. I did not deserve this treatment. Please.
