New A/C install 5/31/22. The Unit worked okay for approx. 6 months and then stated getting hot in the evening reaching 80 degrees or higher. I contacted Frank Gay for service and was told the issue was a clogged water line that needed to be drained but was not covered. I was charged $120. This was only a quick fix that again lasted only a couple of months with the same issue. I was also enrolled in a maintenance plan $199 annually, which should not have been needed as the parts and labor should have been covered under the warranty. Frank Gay has sent multiple techs to solve this issue and often charge $89 trip fee but won't fix the issue. I paid 10K for a unit that does not work. Right now, I have a bucket to catch the continues drip to stay cool. I have video and will need to contact a competitor to try and fix this unit. This would have been resolved if Frank Gay sent the installer to solve this issue. Their customer service is the worst I've experience they have no clue about their products. I called to report the drip A/C repair band they sent an electrician who couldn't help, and gain charged me $89 for nothing. This company was listed with my Utility as a preferred provided, they are no longer listed.
Desired outcome: Please fix my unit or at least provide partial refund for the unit I'm paying for.

I just spoke with a representative at Frank Gay Amy, I think. Appears no one is looking into to my complaint. During our very heated conversation with this rude agent who never identified her job title as I requested a manager or supervisor, stated that records show my leaking issue was caused by a drain line that I was not covered under maintenance plan. I paid $120 to repair this drain line that was not repaired correctly and they continued to send techs and charge me $89 to keep draining this line. Unacceptable since each tech provided no insight as to why I keep having this issue with a new unit that I still have to pay for and had the nerve to request they provide another quote for the same issue. I refused as I do not trust Frank Gay to solve this issue. I have video of water being caught in a bucket to avoid backing up. I will upload this info and find a competitor to solve this issue; customers please be aware.
