Arnold & Sons Plumbing, Sewer and Drain Services

I paid 15 thousand dollars for a full sewer system replacement. Their crew destroyed my property beyond what I expected, left trash, and exposed wires hanging out of the ground.

The gas valve will be under warranty. Five days later the gas valve was replaced. I called the office, in regards to why I am being charged for a warranty part. I was informed the company has order, shipping, and installation. Warranty doesn't cover time and material. I was charged $596 for the warranty part and $844.45 for the repairs or $109 just to come to the house.

On September 8, I called Arnold & Sons Plumbing, Sewer and Drain Services, Inc. to schedule an appointment for them to come to my rental property on ***. I needed their help to unclog a bathroom issue we were experiencing. They arrived and stayed for two hours, but unfortunately, they didn't provide any actual service. They simply inspected the problem by using a camera and informed us that we had root issues. However, they didn't take any action to resolve the clog. Surprisingly, they charged us over $600 for this lack of service.

I called Arnold & Sons Plumbing, Sewer and Drain Services, Inc. to get my sewer line unclogged. They did come out and snake the line, but when they put a camera down, they said there were still roots in it. However, after they snaked it, there was water flow when we flushed the toilet. Unfortunately, within a week, it got clogged again. We tried contacting them multiple times by phone and through their website. Today, my wife received a call from them, and they told her that there was still a 95% blockage, even after they snaked it. This wasn't what I asked for, and they never mentioned it to me. It seems like they didn't plan to snake it correctly to fully unclog it, so now we have the risk of it backing up inside the house again.

In May this year, my bathroom got all flooded and stuff was coming out of the tub. Arnold and Sons came to my place and said it would cost almost 12k to fix this mess. They said both bathrooms' pipes needed replacing and the sewer line in the front yard had to be dug up and fixed. I took out a loan and agreed to these repairs. But guess what? They left the front line all exposed, the tub uncaulked, and made a big hole in the downstairs bathroom ceiling. Then on 7/22/22, the downstairs bathroom got flooded with yard gunk. Arnold and Sons came back and said it would cost another 30k to fix. Turns out there were two more sewer lines coming out of my house that they conveniently forgot to mention before. They said they'd come back on 7/25 to hydrojet the lines and check with a camera. On 7/25/22, *** showed up at my place and told my husband it could be fixed for $500, but didn't give any more details. He didn't leave any paperwork and ignored my requests for info for almost 3 days. When he finally responded, he still didn't tell me what was wrong with the plumbing, what I needed to do, and why the price went from 30k to $500. I've been chasing after this info for almost 2 weeks now and still got nothing. *** also lied about what he did at my place. No sonar was used, as he claimed. I called the City and they told me to never use Arnold & Sons and that they shouldn't have dug up the line. I've had two other plumbers come over and they can't figure out what Arnold & Sons did. I still don't know what's wrong with my house and the upstairs bathroom they supposedly fixed is flooding again. Other professionals and the City of Peoria think I got scammed out of 12k, and I still don't have a working toilet. I shouldn't have to pay for bad or no work for the next 10 years.
