Vehicle lost traction upon turning left from a 40km rd onto a 50km rd immediately upon attempting to accelerate to 50km in minimally wet road conditions and while only at a top speed of 37km/hr. The Bronco suddenly lost traction and control, veered off the road and collided with a tree! fortunately my son only suffered mild soft tissue/concussion injury but the Ford is severely damaged and deemed a total loss. The circumstances strongly indicated loss of traction/control defect. As was also described by an eye witness. Given recent owner reports & mulitple recalls affecting the 2024 Bronco related to suspension braking and traction control systems, I am deeply concerned that a manufacturing or mechanical defect may have contributed to this loss of control. I have reviewed public info indicating known issues with Bronco's electronic brake booster EBB, suspension control arms and traction performance in wet conditions!
Claimed loss: Vehicle was deemed a total loss
Desired outcome: immediate acknowledgement & confirmation of internal investigation, comprehensive forensic investigation, disclosure of known recalls, complaints or defect investigations. I look forward to accountability prevention harm.
