We had two slow leaking tires that were covered under warranty.
Sunday
- 9AM: I dropped off the car at as soon as they opened at 9am on a Sunday.
- 2PM: Five hours later, I called to check up on it. Both tires needed replacement, plus an upsell of 500 dollars worth of fixes which I declined. The tech said it would be done in 30m
- 3:15PM: I decided to give them an hour+ since they were busy. They told me that it would be ready at 4:30.
- 4:30: I arrive to see my car lifted with 3 tires off. Frustrated, I told them I would come back in the morning.
Monday, I arrived at 7am and picked up the car since it was finally ready.
My thoughts and impressions. They make you feel like you are burdening them with your problems since they are "too busy". I assume that the techs are overloaded but I also assume that they pushed my service back since I had left them the car. In other words, my problem was no longer important since I was not in their waiting room.
I wish they would have done a better job communicating the expectations. Why do I have to chase them down to ask questions. If the car will be out of commission all day, then I can adjust for it, or better yet, take it somewhere else.
The hidden cost of the warranty work is that they do it at their convenience without regard to your time. WILL NEVER use them again.
Recommendation: Don't waste your time!
