Firestone Complete Auto Care Service/ wrong diagnosis

I scheduled an appointment for Auto Complete Care on my car this is a full inspection for my vehicle. I was told it would take at least 3 hours, therefore I dropped my vehicle off on July 6th evening for my July 7th appointment. When I dropped the vehicle off I told the technician my car was driving funny not like wanting to change gears, I asked him to check the transmission. On July 8th about 3pm I still had not heard from Firestone. I stopped in there after work about 4pm. I asked the clerk about my vehicle she had to go get the keys and paperwork. She comes back and says to me the tech said you need a new transmission and I need to take it to a transmission shop. I look over my inspection sheet, and my complete inspection had not been done. I asked her why not she goes and get the technician. And he says I can leave it there and the inspection could be done the next day. I say to him but my appointment was scheduled for the inspection why wasn't it done? He tried to explain from his notes in the computer. But they literally just did not do the job I scheduled for. He said to me you need a new transmission and need to take it to a transmission shop. I schedule an appointment with transmission shop, and they tell me I do not need a transmission. My transmission is perfectly fine, I need wheel bearings front and rear. I tried reaching out to the manager several times with no reply.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a gift card for my wheel bearings cost.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Denied tire service

To whom it may concern.

I recommended you company to my son to take his tire in for service today 8-9-23 location . He showed up to the tire service station at 5:15pm and was refused service because they had to close at 6:00pm. All the service bays were open and empty. He simply said “not today” after he requested his tire to be looked at for repair. He was rude and very short.

I expected my son to receive professional care and got the complete opposite.

I will no longer go nor recommend your service to anyone if this is how you treat your customers and family. Thank you for your time.

Desired outcome: Professional care and not turn away customers with 45 min till closing.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Inspection sticker

On 07/31/2023, I took my 4Runner to Firestone on 9530 Broadway in Houston, Tx in for an inspection sticker, of course Firestone found something (P0171 code) . Then they tell I needed a diagnostic done ($115.00) to replace a O2 sensor Bank 1. I knew what needed to be replace insisted they needed a diagnostic that was performed to find code in the first place. Firestone uses a book to tell them how long a job will last so they stop working on your vehicle run the time to meet the time in their book. My O2 sensor is $198.74 and they will add at least 300.00 for labor for a 45 minute job. Firestone checks te customer’s credit limit and how much is available to suggest what they need on their vehicle.

Firestone is ripping off customer especially women not mention elderly customers. Firestone really add charges when it is a women.

Desired outcome: I want the diagnostic test and part of the labor refunded

Firestone Complete Auto Care Tire and wheel alignment

Went to get two front tires and a wheel alignment. Now my car shakes when I accelerate.

Told me that they were too busy to service me.

I went there at 7 am and had an appointment was told to leave my car there and pick it up later in the afternoon. All I wanted them to do was do a a diagnosis. It would take 7 hrs just to tell me what was wrong.

Test drove my car and didn’t report to me that they was a shake.

The guy who was at the desk had a snappy attitude as if him being low staff was my problem

Firestone Complete Auto Care Wait time and had an appointment

I am appauled at the service and wait time we received at 2 Firestone locations. One was at a Firestone in Daphne AL and another one at Firestone in Mobile AL on 3105 Airport Road, Mobile AL. We made an appointment on 7/30/23 for an oil change for 7/31/23 at 2pm and Tom clerk at desk told us it would be 1 hr 1/2 wait. I went up to desk at 3:30pm I walked up to desk spoke to Roger and he said it would be brought in right away. We sat here it was 4pm and it was not brought in. I walked out to see if it was brought in and it was in the back of the store and I am very upset that you would allow this type of service to be done and I have been a customer for several years and never have I ever had to wait this long for an oil change. I am following up with a letter to the Nashville TN HQ office and phone call to submit a formal complaint because I am a customer who witnessed many people sitting for hours and not being acknowledged who were waiting longer than we were. I am a business owner and I am in marketing who will spread the word on this incident. Do not allow this to happen when people deserve better service.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Should have one some credit applied for all the tires they kept saying I needed.

Yes I have been going to Firestone for years and very time I go there with and issued I always need new tires every single time and when I said something about gsve me a discount not much. Went there the last time for lil change and ended up paying five hundred dollars for another part. I got there at and didn’t get out of there till after five. Cause he said I had to said for a part so I waited and saw part come and still waiting over and hour so I go in and say something guy chuckles and says while I have to pill him away from another car cause when your part wasn’t here he stared another car fine but as soon as my part came in my should have been completed being I was there for hours. Guy was rude and person doing car was like it will get done when it gets done. Never ever will I go to a Firestone. Neither will my sister or friends so I call and complain they call me back and when I said look at my history with tires he said I will and never called me back. Ridiculous no respect

Very rude, the guy’s name is Pedro, I went there for a flat tire, after my car was inside the shop for 1 hour, I asked the guy very politely if the tire is repairable? He was very aggressive in his response, saying “we are working on two cars before yours and we will not drop these cars for your car! Then he went on to suggest that I can take my car somewhere else. I am still in shock from such aggressive and arrogant behavior.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Defective parts

I had work performed on December 31, 2022 at the Goodyear, AZ Firestone due to the family vehicle pulling aggressivley to the right. I was told half shaft and lower control arm bushing was cracked, needed repair. I proceeded to have work done. In February I went back to same location due to still having issues, was told alignment would fix issue, it did not. I went to Discount Tires in late March thinking something was wrong with tires, Discount Tires confirmed tires were fine. I went into Firestone in Surprise in April to complain again about issue and was told they performed an alignment and don't have time to further troubleshoot my repeat issue, and to bring the car back another time. I explained my family as almost been in accidents because of this ongoing issue since December 31st. Still no resolution given by Firestone. I took the car to Nissan due to failed customer service at Firestone. They confirmed parts Firestone put on were defective, paperwork and photos available to further support claim. Nissan performed work and fixed vehicle. I am seeking reimbursement for the defective parts to help restore my faith in Firestone. I also have the parts to give back to Firestone and further support my claim. As you can see level of customer service, lack of integrity in parts and my family's safety was put at risk by Firestone. As you can also see, I gave ample opportunity to have the issue rectified but Firestone failed to provide the level of service needed. I visited the Goodyear location where the Store Manager refused to come out and talk to me about the issue. I was also told I would receive a call from Area Manager Josh in 2 business days. It's been 7, still no phone call. I escalated to Firestone Corporate office incident # 740 659 70, was told I would receive a phone call within 2 business days, it's been 7 business days, still no phone call or resolution to disired settlement of refund.
