I have an account with Fed Ex and mail packages often. When I go to the shipping center, they quote me an average of $40-$45 per package. However, when I go back into invoices and look at what FedEx charged my credit card, the total is at least 1.5 times what I was told the package would cost. For instance, for the last two transactions I was quoted $40 and charged $60.01, and quoted $45 and charged $79.59. FedEx states these extra undisclosed and undiscussed charges were "administrative fees," such as delivering to a residence, paying the account by credit card, extra fuel charges, and "administrative costs."
Claimed loss: $20 in undisclosed and undiscussed charges for the past 10 months = $200
Desired outcome: Billing adjustment

FedEx intentionally misleads customers when mailing packages. Most recently, I was given a quote by the local shipping center of $40 for one package and $45 for another, and ended up with my credit card being charged a few weeks later for $60.01 and $79.59, respectively. FedEx explains this undisclosed and undiscussed discrepancy by stating "we have extra administrative costs, extra fuel costs, extra cost to deliver to residence (they have to drive there anyway, so what's the difference?) and they even charge for a "third party payment" (so basically charging me for paying them). Then they told me "oh sorry, the discount you were supposed to receive on your account is no longer there. Why don't know why."
