We don't know much about how FedEx handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with FedEx and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

we ordered a small wooden bookcase from walmart, (not a large box, close to road and difficult to see from house, see picture), delivered today, february 20, 2021, 11:15am. this is accurate as we were pulling into our driveway as fed ex truck was leaving. unfortunately, we found our purchase leaning against a tree, IN the snow, without a plastic bag or any sort of weather protection. there was nothing to stop him from driving up our driveway, to deliver on porch, as it was in no way impossible to navigate (see picture.) since we have previously dealt with other unprofessional deliveries we even have a 'request' sign posted on our driveway now asking specifically for porch delivery as it has been, on occasion, still left on driveway. today's delivery was unacceptable as product could have been easily missed out by road and/or damaged from long wait in wet snow had we not been there to retrieve it immediately. additionally, the time lapse between 'delivered' email notice, which hit our email at 11:49am, approx. 34 minutes, and actual delivery was enough time for possible product damage. we understand some delays can be due to the current situation and are tolerable but disrespectful mishandling shouldn't be tolerated, especially when it becomes repetitious. thank you for your attention to this situation/problem as it now appears to be commonplace.

Desired outcome: RESPECTABLE HANDLING, NOOO TOSSING, THROWING, OTHER DESTRUCTIVE PRACTICES, AND WHEN POSSIBLE (and this was very possible!), LEAVE ON PORCH, PROTECTED AREA AND/OR COVERED IF NECESSARY.

On February 18th, 2021, your driver was speeding through our 55+ Community . We are located in Fulshear, Texas and the driver was speeding at approximately 11:45 AM . Truck License # KPS 4620 .
No children in this Community, but many walkers and dog Lovers .
Please ask him to slow down and if this not resolved, I will go to our Local Fulshear Police Chief .

FedEx Lost Package

I shipped a package o 1/30/2021.
Package never arrived to addressed. I tried filing a Claim with FedEx 5 times. Each time it ell me the tracking number cant be found.
This has got to be the worst costumer service i have ever dealt with.
Will definitely never ship with them again.

Desired outcome: have fedex .an actual person contact me to resolve the issue.

FedEx Driver not picking up package and inept customer representatives

Good evening,

I am not sure what the issue with picking up packages in today's climate. I have spoken with numerous customer service representatives and Managers and it all resulted with the same outcome, my package has not been picked up. All your customer services representatives and Managers seem to be clueless and repeat the same mantra, "it will be picked up by 8pm". Also, there is no follow through on their part but they all remind you to take the survey after the call. I am now scheduling my fifth pick - up. This package contains medical equipment that I am supposed to return to the doctor's office and it has a $5000.00 price tag if I do not return it in a timely manner. Not that you care, I just wanted you to know why I am so stressed by this lack of responsibility. I always thought Fed Ex was a respectable and reliable company. Molly, Carlos, Ralph, David and Ernest to name a few. Imagine going through a crazy automated system (and hoping it does not disconnect the call) to get to an actual person only to have said person give you false information and the party line. Your drivers turned this simple process of picking-up a package into an anxiety ridden and maddening experience.

There is a section that ask, desired outcome. That's a joke because you are not going to take any action, just chalk it up to another irate customer in the middle of a pandemic.

FedEx Their website, tracking, and email codes

Been a week now. Still trying to get the website to send me my email confirmation code so that way I can get email and text updates about my delivery. It is easy with United States Postal service, impossible with FedEx. The online virtual assistant is unhelpful. The Text Virtual chat assistant is the same thing as the online assistant on their website. I called the number. The menu wasn't helpful. It was long an tedious, then finally a number was dialed, rang twice. And I have been sitting in silence with the occasional clicking noise with my phone on waiting for someone to pick up for 20 minutes now. I really wish my sellers would not use FedEx and that they would just use USPS.

And get this. After 20 minutes I hear a clicking then a ringing. Then an automated message asking me to rate my experience with the customer Service agent between 1 and 5. I selected 1. And that was it. Really pissed off.

Desired outcome: Send me my Security Verification Code to my Email.

- On 2/12/21, FexEx misdelivered a bulky/heavy package to my mom's front door. The name and address on the package was NOT my mom's, but someone else's, and is too heavy for us to handle. The next evening, 2/13/21, I tried contacting FedEx to request that they return to pickup the misdelivered bulky/heavy package.
- I went online to FedEx's website, and tried to find where it could be reported that a package was misdelivered package, but found nothing helpful.
- I then asked the online "FedEx Virtual Assistant" what to do. Here's the transcript:

- Subsequently, on 2/13/21, I called the FedEx Customer Service number, only to get an automated system that COULD NOT address the issue about the misdelivered package! There was NO OPTION on the automated system to talk with a human being (Agent).
- I tried calling FedEx again, THREE MORE TIMES to select different options to get a human agent, only to have the automated agent ask redundant, worthless, and irrelevant questions to get me to hang up.
- On the Fourth Call, it appears that that their phone system automatically tracks the number of times someone calls (from the same number) in a short period of time, so it was ONLY THEN when the automated system provided an OPTION to talk with a live human agent.
- The 1st Agent asked me for the Tracking number, which was provided. He then told me that the misdelivered package problem belonged to the "Delivery" dept., and asked me to hold while he transferred me. The "Delivery" dept. transfer actually turn out to the original automated agent menu!
- I then tried calling a Fifth time, and the automated system provided an option to talk with an live human agent (again). This 2nd agent tried to transfer me to the same "Delivery" dept., but I quickly and urgently told her NOT to transfer me due to the dead-end experience from the previous agent. She could hear the frustration in my voice, and seemed to want to help. But it turns out, she just wanted a positive rating from the "after call quality survey."
- I re-explained the misdelivered package issue (for the 100th time), provided the tracking number, and recipient's name and address on the label. For security reasons, I asked her to NOT share my mom's private home address with a stranger (the Recipient) based on some social media complaints previously posted about this same problem. People complained about strangers showing up at their house unannounced, and some were mad/disgruntled. She assured me that she would NOT share my mom's home address with the Receipient, would send
out another FexEx truck to pickup the package, and would call me the next morning when someone was on their way.
- It is now 2/15/2021 at 4:30 PM. I never received a call from FedEx, and FEDEX HAS NOT YET RETURNED TO PICK UP THE BULKY/HEAVY MISDIRECTED PACKAGE. We are aware that inclement weather may have delayed delivery times (our roads are clear with no snow), but it's been 3 days. In the meantime, despite our efforts to cover the package with plastic, it may have gotten wet.

- WE WANT THIS BULKY PACKAGE RETRIEVED BY FEDEX AND DELIVERED TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS ON THE LABEL *

Have same problem...in addition our "regular" driver won't come down our long driveway with a little snow, even though it's obvious my neighbor and I use the driveway a lot! It's clear from all the tire tracks! He leaves VERY heavy boxes, some from Chewy, that I can't pick up, so I have to open the boxes on the road and put the ingredients in my car trunk, one by one. Complained to Chewy and asked if they use UPS instead, which always seems to get down our driveway with no trouble. They said they have filed a formal complaint for us.

FedEx Delivery to wrong addresses

I live in Great Bend, Kansas. There are too many instances of packages delivered to the wrong addresses. An elderly man recently delivered my box which was delivered to his house. I received a box to another address and got a very snotty employee on the phone after trying for 45 minutes to find a way for someone to pick it up and today, a heavy box for me was delivered to the house across the street. This is ridiculous. I've heard all sorts of stories. Please fix this.

FedEx Delivery

FedEx has repeatedly delivered packages to the wrong house. Even with explicit directions, they claim to have dropped it at my house. Many times there has been someone home, and with my houses location, "Porch pirates" are NOT an ISSUE! They just do not try. It is amazing as Amazon Prime has no issue, but FedEx is unable to do their job. Repeated calls to them has resulted in no change in their behavior. Unfortunately, i am not able to "choose" the delivery company when purchasing on line.
I would like for a copy of the picture taken on the porch at the time of delivery to compare it to MY porch (see attached picture).

FedEx Billing

Dear All,

Our company Rhino Global Forwarding LLC has account with FedEx # [protected].
We received the invoice # [protected] including following tracking ##:
[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
The estimate for the shipment was $95.76. when we received the invoice for $210.49, I created a similar shipment with the same weight, dimensions and type of service. The FedEx estimate provided the same total for $95.76.
I sent all documentation requesting the correction to Revenue Service.
In was in the beginning of December 2020. They asked for additional information. We sent emails back and forth. The last email from Revenue was to provide all tracking numbers. I did. They dropped the ball. Yesterday I sent another email with tracking numbers to have the resolution. At the same time FedEx disabled our account, even though that all invoices are paid on time and taken care of. After I sent the email today I received the email that our claim was denied. Before I saw the email I called Fedex and spoke with Nia in Revenue department. She informed me that the claim was denied with no explanation at all. When I asked to talk to supervisor, she said it is impossible, that management does not get involved in disputes like this and she hung up on me.
With this letter I am asking you to look into this matter, send me the explanation why the claim was denied and most important OPEN OUR ACCOUNT SO WE COULD CONTINUE OUR BUSINESS.

FedEx Allied universal security

Because of the incident that took place on January 6, 2020 at our capital, I feel an urgency to file this complaint against the security at the FedEx Hub in Memphis, TN.
My name is Ella Dennis, I work for the ABM Bus Service at the Memphis Hub as a driver. On 2/7/2020 I was instructed by the dispatcher to pick up employees from the mainscreening building. I used my FedEX issued badge to open up the entrance gate, immediately behind me where about 4or 5 other cars following the bus I was driving, bumber to bumber. I motioned to the car immediately behing me to backoff and wait for the gate to close before entering using his own ID issued badge. He refused, instead he jumped the curb and drove around the bus on the grass and enter the parking lot, about three or four other cars came in through the gate without using their Id to enter, because they where that close together not allowing the gate to close. I found the incident very distrubing, for the following reason(s). They could have been people with bad intend. Non FedEX employees without Id. I immediately reported the incident to my dispatcher, and security (Senior officer Ousley) at the building. It clearly states at the gate no "Tailgating". I my mind this was a bridge in security. Their has been many times that I along with other drivers have entered the main entrance to the Memphis Hub without showing any kind of ID, because security officer(s) assigned were fast at sleep at their post. Another way I have noticed people entering the pariking lot without showing any ID is just by walking-in at the east-end gate. They just walked right in and make a quick left and they I on the parking lot, they dont have to go by security.
With all of what is going on the Country at this time I think a little more oversight will be a good thing.

This incident took on 2/7/2020 at about 2:00 pm
on the front of the Mainscreen Entrance parking lot

The car that jumped the curb was a black chevrolet tahoe with an expire California tag. P803MO exp. date 8/20

the second car was a dodge charger with a temporary tag QL683E8 exp. date 2/4/2021

I just hope security wouldn't be so slack at the Hub.

FedEx Delivery

Driver stated delivery attempted but no one was available to accept package. This is not the first time I've had issues with the lies these drivers come up with. I stayed home from work today to be sure I wouldn't miss this delivery. It is very inconveniencing when you're expecting a delivery and your driver is too lazy and inconsiderate to deliver someones package. I live in a house there is absolutely no reason my package couldn't have been left on my front porch. Some of your drivers are not a good representation of FedEx. This needs to he rectified & a system in place showing driver actually attempting deliveries at the property showing address and tag left in door.

FedEx Driver playing games

Fedex driver constantly backs into my driveway to drop off packages big or small. I have a brand new asphalt driveway that was damaged and the other day I saw the fedex driver spinning his tires (snow) while attempting to back in again for like 5 mins.
I went to the door as he finally realized he would have to walk! I asked him politely at first, if he would stop driving the van/ truck into the driveway as it had been previously damaged. He copped an attitude immediately and said oh ok you want me to leave the packages even the big ones at the end by the road? I said no I want my packages brought onto my porch here. He shakes his head and says noooooooo nooooo then complained about my driveway having snow in it lmao. Driveway was just cleared from almost 2 feet of snow!
I called fedex to make another complaint 2nd complaint.. 1st was for packages delivered damaged broken glass and spilled liquids in the packages total was about 4 destroyed packages clear signs of damage but still on my porch smh! Same complaint was about damaged driveway.
Fed ex don't give a flying f about their customers! Another company that hires solely from the bottom of the barrel (affirmative action for ya)!
So today i'm expecting a package, watch the fedex idiot pass slowly by my house, then turn around and slowly pass by again.
I immediately call will from the stratford ct office (I spoke to him last complaint). He says oh the package is addressed incorrectly it says 258 not 259!
These [censored] now gonna play with mail and or packages because I made legitimate complaints! This guy delivers to my home average of 2-4 times a week and knows darn well the name on the package and that I live at 259. It's a dead end street. There is no 258!
Funny though isn't it I get a text message saying that they couldn't deliver today and that it has been rescheduled for tomorrow thursday.
Will supervisor stratford ct said he was gonna call the disgruntled loser driver to see if he could turn around and then call me back, well lol that was over 2 hours ago now. So safe to assume my shot ain't getting rerouted! Idiots

Fedex Express keeps sending my packages back. Fedex ground, Ups and the post office can deliver without problems. Customer service is bad. They are based in a foreign country and barely speak english

FedEx Two packages

I had really BIG problems at fedex office valparaiso, in 46383 with Tamarra and Lisa two days in a row.

I had two packages labeled to return as refused per the driver told me to go to office fedex 46383 to return
They told me feb 2-4 they do not do that and THEY CAN NOT CALL FEDEX toll free to help me either.
so I put in box in store instead, they said pkgs would just be returned back to me
I called fedex and they told me this was where I needed to send from and I found it on the website as well.
I went back on 2-5 to valparaiso again Lisa and Tamarra and asked them to lookup Fedex rules/regs/policies on their computer

THEY told me " we do not have internet and we can not get fedex rules regs policys here"

They asked me to just leave the store after every question I asked them.

I know the store manager is on this as well as I was not contacted after 4 days from 2-5 by phone to today 2-9.

FedEx Refrigerated product left on ground below mailbox instead of at house

On feb 4, 2021, a package needing refrigeration was delivered by Fedex to Lois Betts at 6255 Saint Joe Rd, Tallahassee, FL and left on the ground under the mailbox which is about 800 ft (and not visible) from the house. This is a weekly delivery of boxed food that requires refrigeration and has always been delivered to the house and left on the porch. Ms. Betts was waiting at home all day on Thursday, the usual delivery day, for the package to arrive. Late in the afternoon, she walked down to the mailbox and found the delivery on the ground under the mailbox. The blocks of ice inside the package had melted and she is afraid to use the food. This delivery has come once a week for approximately a year with no problems until now. This is an essential item for Ms. Betts and needs to be delivered appropriately to her home, on the porch, so she can be aware of when it is delivered and can take action to get it refrigerated.

Desired outcome: Fedex should reimburse for the spoiled shipment and deliver all subsequent shipments to the recipient's home porch

FedEx Delivery of my package

Today I received my package delivered by FEDEX. Both myself and my wife are handicapped. My package was thrown in 22" of snow 12 feet from my porch. I had to call my neighbors son to come and get it for me. There is no excuse for your service to do this. By time I got it, the box was soaking wet, let alone the contents inside. Something should be done! I notified the vendor I purchased it from, and they are going to file a complaint as well. FedEx Package delivered to wrong address

I ordered TWO mattresses through WalMart; Both packages were delivered to a similar but DIFFERENT address, even though all package labels were accurate. Tracking # [protected]

I tried multiple times to contact Fed Ex Customer Service to alert them, but could not get past the recording.

I will not personally use Fed Ex for any package delivery in the future, and I will not order any items that use Fed Ex as a delivery method.

FedEx Tore up my yard.

2 weeks ago a Fedex driver delivered my neighbors package to my address, leaving a big rut in my yard next to my driveway. Today 1/31/2021 another Fedex driver delivering a package extended the rut left in our yard at our driveway. If they can't pull into our driveway without damage park on the road and walk.

FedEx Deliveries

I have a sign on my front door requesting that parcels NOT be left there, but to leave them by the garage. I've had packages stolen from the front door. Also, I am 67 years old and my front door opens onto a landing in my stairwell, so when receiving a heavy item (like I did today) it's very difficult and dangerous for me when trying to bring it in and lugging it up the stairs.

Today's parcels, each weighing about 70+ pounds, were left piled on top of each other right next to my sign that says NOT to leave parcels there.

I live at 10320 E. 44th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA., and the parcels were delivered today, 30 Jan 21.

Desired outcome: Parcels be left by my garage, not at the front door.

FedEx Fedex not delivering my packages after calling to notify them what to do.

I have two packages that I have been waiting over a week for Fedex to deliver. 1/22 Fedex left door tag. I did everything it said except sign. It would not allow me do direct my options through website and text. My door faces the street and I do not want the all to see a door tag on my front door to steal. 1/23 another door tag. Fedex did not attempt to deliver my packages. As the driver sits in truck, another person runs to door and sticks another door tag on door. No ringing of the doorbell. No attempt to deliver package. I have video to prove it. I called Fedex. Told them they can throw packages over fence next delivery. I made a complaint about the delivery people. The following days, I kept getting text messages stating rescheduled for delivery and will be delivered. Another 7 days passed. 1/30 Called Fedex again. The packages are scheduled to be delivered that day. I called 3 times when are the packages going to arrive. Fedex gave it to another delivery service. My packages are not going to be delivered once again. I believe Fedex Driver is disgruntled of my complaint and is making it very difficult for me by not delivering my packages. Any other day I have Fedex drivers throw my packages over the fence or just leave it on the front porch. The packages did not require a signature so what is the hold up. I gave them directions the 2nd door tag I received on 1/23 and Fedex had plenty of time to redeliver. As of 1/30/2021 5:27 PM Pacific Time California, I still do not have my packages.
