my facebook acct was hacked on apr 8 2022. hacker chgd my email address and password at 8:00 am pdt per fb's email then sent me. I followed FB's step by step instruc to secure my acct. it didnt work. tried to upload my id a million times but fb kept rejecting it saying it was a photo issue. my id is definitely valid. it is a calif state issued drivers lic thru dmv. my pic is not altered or damaged. copies uploaded were very clear and all info readable. after a bunch of failed tries at uploading id i waited til next day to try and recover my acct again but now for the last 5 days ea time i try to secure my acct I keep getting fb msg "cant use ths feature right now" and it won't let me try and secure my acct. im afraid hacker has been offensive and has gotten my acct banned for bad behavior. this makes me feel deeply violated! I have been accused of breaches in community standards for,

being sarcastic (regarding police brutality against a pregnant woman),

using a common turn of phrase, (kick him to the curb) common in Australia and used when advising someone "to move on" re a boyfriend, freeloader, grifter etc and most alarming after praising a female doctor for a well delivered speech and decrying the ability of the men in the room to "get it" was considered "hate speech".

I live in a wonderfully multi-cultural country where hate speech is soundly condemned and I applaud that, but try as I might, I struggle to see the hate in any of my comments. Sarcastic? yes - Colloquial? probably - full of disdain? definitely.

Full of hate? not at all - inciting violence? never

Simply Aussie vernacular, which often is "in your face" with its brutal honesty. Without having any consideration for context or nuance, leads me to conclude that facebook does indeed discriminate against me on the basis of my nationality.

To make matters worse there is no proper review system in place to correct any errors facebook make.

I have had 3 very unfair and wrongly judged abuses of community standards held against me.

1 I made a sarcastic remark about police brutality

2 I used a turn of phrase, "kick him to the curb" which translates to ...do something about it

3 Praised a well delivered speech

In Australia we speak up and speak out if we see a wrong but clearly our candid turns of phrase leaves us as being classified as "hate speakers".

At no time were my remarks "hateful" or targeted.

I have read many similar accounts where context and nuance remove all thought of hate being involved at all.

The system to appeal such labels doesn't work (that is if you can actually get your complaint reviewed) and needs to be improved.

This is clearly a highly flawed system of penalties that needs a do over.

My 15 year old son asked me why Facebook is suggesting he join a dating app. Then found out it's been suggested to my adult sons as well.

I do not condone my 15 year old dating at this time. And I do not appreciate you soliciting my son! This needs to stop immediately!

Facebook just disabled my account without any information as to why they are doing so.

They are not specific as to why they are doing this, this needs to stop, they are frivolously doing this to customers without an explanation as to why.

This is the message they post.

When you go to the help center there is not much help. Something needs to be done to resolve such issues.

Hi : I am Sam from Excel Product Services a business entity located in Toronto Canada. I placed an order with Sardayshop for my shop equipment ( lift tool 2 pcs ) trusting its authenticity being listed on facebook. Apparently my money was sent to irtiquel.com for CAD $ 57.27 by SardayShop . I have not received the items till now from this company.

I am trying to contact SardayShop and there is no information on their contact telephone #. On checking for the details on IRTIQUEL the final recipient of my money I found that it is a scam organization and not legit.

Trusting facebook I made this transaction. Request Face book to get my refund from Sardayshop. My email id is [protected]@bellnet.ca. My telephone # is [protected].

My name is Tina Grinnell and I am contacting you about a scam that is going around on my face book page. They have my driver's license and picture of me asking people to send money to a cash app account and they will receive something in return. I was just made aware of this, And need to stop it immediately. I tried contacting face book, however, I never received a response. Approximately a week ago I was banned from using my VR Headset for 3 days for making "hate speech" on facebook.

I had praised a doctor for a well delivered speech while decrying a lack of understanding from the male gender involved. There was no hate directed at anyone for which I was accused.

My VR set cost in access of $600 and it defies decency and potentially consumer law to curtail its use in such an arbitrary fashion.

Facebook tell me that I can appeal to the oversight board but I cannot...Not only are you advised your appeal may not be heard by the board, it is impossible to access the site (I have tried many times over many days).

Facebook shows a stunning lack of diversity as well as they are unable to view/judge comments in context, or with nuance, or just plain ol' country of origin vernacular, sarcasm or humour.

Diversity dictates that culture including its language can and will vary from country to country, believe me I know, I am a proud Aussie from one of the most culturally diverse lands on this planet and wouldn't live anywhere else.

Please fix this unjust system...

My name is Anita Pettengill my AOL account was hacked, leading to my Facebook account being hacked. My facebook was shut down for inappropriate content. I can assure you it was not me. Apparently there was activity I was not aware of.

I am sending you proof of hacking into my accounts from out of the USA and the days leading up to the shut down.

I was told also to attach my drivers license for proof of idenity.

Please reinstate my facebook page.

I am attaching all proof that my account was hacked from aol (which I dont use but that is where I originally opened my FB account) therefore it started the ball rolling for this unfortunate series of events.

I use FB for business as well as personal and run a non-profit... which I think is what started the hate. We were collecting items for Ukraine 🇺🇦 refugees... I think someone saw that and retaliated.

On March25, 2022 I received a notification that one of my e-mail accounts had been used to log into my personal account. Not knowing that e-mail could have been used on a desk top or cell also associated with the 2 other e=mails 3 business accounts, a personal face book, etc, I said it was not me. BOOM. Locked out from all facebook activity. OK attempt to to prove its me. I do send the e-mail associated with original account, a photocopy of driver's license. Not good enough. They want proof of employment? I have given the all they have asked for. "they can't read it" I feel they are fishing for personal information. I will answer any question they want but I do not want to continue to send copies of personal information. Today they give me a message the site to correct this is broken. What's really going on Facebook?

My sister passed in dec 2021 she left me her sister as executor of her will, her son was not happy about her doing this so now he has posted on his profile derogatory remarks and name calling and has even posted a check for all to see with bank info and addresses.

Facebook has disabled Ken Craig and my other site I had with mine Gatorheadband.

I would like to know why, they were trying to tell me but I couldn't answer them. I have never been taking off for any reason. I know something happen and must have been bad. I would like to know who and what they actually did. If you can help in any way I sure would appreciate the help.

On 3/16/2022 @ 10:01 am I was sent a notification from Facebook that someone logged into my account from a state I don’t live in. I changed my password. On 3/17/2022 I received a notification that I am being blocked from using Marketplace because a listing I posted went against their Community Standards. I did not post anything for sale since September of 2021. Facebook will not restore my ability to use Marketplace or tell me what it was I supposedly listed for sale. I have asked for a review of this matter but Facebook states that after careful review they are unable to take further action on this matter even though i am not guilty of what they are claiming I did!

I was commenting to my best friends daughter, who is a really good friend of mine. She was explaining how the world can't handle her. I specifically told her, that she doesn't scare me, I would have Evan Crabtree beat her up. Evan is her older brother, and Justyne, Evan, her mom and dad are relation of mine. Your logarithm accused me of bullying, which is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. I haven't been perfect, but I've intentionally watched my language, only to be ambushed by your program.

I'm pretty sure I select the correct answer for the recent comments but Facebook says there is something wrong. I want to log in to my account as soon as possible. Now, I need to wait an another hour. I can't access the account on another device. When I try once in site, it works perfectly but when I log in to Facebook app... The laptop that I used for "approve to another device" is not working anymore, they mean to log in again by approving to another device. I tried answering twice the required.. recent comment and I failed. I hope there is another option than "approve to another device" and "recent comments". I'd rather pick sent code to email address or number but it didn't show up. I am restless right now. Helpppp.

I have been banned now for 30 days which is affecting my businesses and my personal life a great deal being isolated in my home as a work-at-home mother. I have recently received a 30-day ban for stating in a closed group that I would "kick my kids' arse" if they acted up in a local business. Before that, I got banned for looking for a birdcage for sale and asking if anyone had a young male Indian Ringneck, but I was not looking to purchase the bird, which is against community standards. Before that, I was banned for selling plant seeds which IS legal, and then before that for the simple statement that "men are pigs." These are out of control algorithms. Nothing I have said affects public safety or the reputation of FB and I should not be banned from using FB appropriately. I honestly do not know what to say on FB anymore as it is obvious that I am flagged and everything I say and do is illegally monitored at this point. I do feel I am being harassed and considering seeking legal advice as I think this is overuse of power, harassment, and unfair treatment which is affecting my mental health, the financial gains of my business, amongst other issues.

I was given a restriction about a comment I made to someone privately that ended up in a feed. I believe I had done it accidently which I still don't understand.

It was a mistake and I am extremely sorry this happened at all. I've tried to maintain a smart way of responding though sometimes it can be difficult with some of the things people say, but that being said, I realize facebook does have rules.

I was originally given a 2 day restriction but after the 1st day, it shows I still have 48 hours to go. if I am correct, 2 days, or 48 hours is basically the same. so if anything I should only have 1 day left and that I find wrong but it is what it is.

I was hoping to be able to post for my sons birthday today.

I attached a copy of the restriction that showed up yesterday, but now as I had mentioned, it shows 45 hours left.
