I don't understand why I have to do a two-step authentication to sign in on my home computer yet I don't have to on my work computer. This crap saying that I am subject to being hacked, even though I NEVER have been sounds like a way to harass me. Double standards seem unfair and it sounds like you are discriminating against me. I don't know of anyone else that has to do this. Stop harassing me and making me feel like a bad person. I plan to talk to a civil attorney to find out why you are being prejudical toward me.

My account was disabled and after I sent a review request was told I was ineligible to use Facebook. I tried to use the Help Center to dispute this and when I entered the info requested, I got a message that because of COVID they would not do a review. I tried to call the phone number, but heard a recording that there is no phone support.

I have been a FB user for about 15 years and have always been in compliance. I don't know if I was hacked, or what the difficulty is. I have so many photos and contacts that I cannot access. Photos of family and grandchildren that cannot be replaced. I also use FB to network as an administrator of an early childhood advocacy page that I cannot access now as well as a business page. There has to be a way to resolve this. It was an erroneous and arbitrary decision that makes no sense.

What are my resources to resolve this?

This is ridiculus I have not typed anything into facebook. Nor have insuled, used profanity or insutled anyone. One day It was working then it was DISABELED!

I was very upset and vowed to never use facebook again! This my last attempt!

I received over 160 birthday posts on my timeline last February 2022! They have slowly been disappearing off my timeline! I have screenshots of the numbers going down and down! I have shaped my phone every time and filed a complaint on my phone about it! The only thing that happens is you remove more of my birthday posts after I shake by phone! Someone is responsible for this? I would like you to investigate why my birthday posts have disappeared? and who is responsible? And I would like my birthday posts replaced back on my timeline! thank you !

For unknown reasons my personal account had be suspended or locked. Im unaware why this had happened although I have handed in every piece of ID, and have done everything I was told. I have only 3 days to try to save my account that have 15 years of my children growing and conversations with friends that have passed. Im unable to work so I enjoyed having the Market Place to go to if Im low on funds so I can get food for the belongings I would sell.

I have heard NO response and my anxiety and depression are becoming effected due to my account being taken down forever?

considering I dont recall doing anything that goes against FB standards and I have always followed policies.

If I lose my account I will be loosing all my children's pictures and thats all i have left. I will be in deep agony and would love to just have my account back

Hi my account was hacked and then disabled. I was requested to send it a photo copy of my ID. I did that but for some reason facebook wouldn't reinstate it. Here is my issue. I can start a new account however my business page was tied to the old account and now. I can't do anything with it but if I create a new business page the my customers will see both when they search. Can anyone please help me. I'm at a loss as to how to fix. this. I have had Facebook for over 12 years and never had a violation until yesterday and I'm not even sure what it was to cause this other than. I was hacked. Please help

I am writing to complain about the Meta organization (specifically Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp) for publicly declaring that I have violated its community standards against child exploitation. This is not true.

My accounts (which are necessary to access and run my therapy/coaching business assets) has been disabled on all three platforms and this is debilitating to my business as it sends a message to my international client base that I cannot be trusted.

Problem: Account disabled without human review

Events of note:

9/13/22, within the 8:30 am - 10:30 am timeframe (Eastern time)

1- around 8:50 am - I clicked on a notification for my company page and found a message seemingly from Facebook (I know now it was not) saying I needed to confirm my identity to add extra security to my business page (URL: facebook.com/network.data55)

2- around 8:50 am - I clicked the link to verify my information for this purpose. (URL/Link: http://usersupportv3.co.vu/ )

3- Something seemed fishy (phishy) once I did that so I closed the web browser and moved on, realizing it took me out of Facebook

4- I reported the post for phishing and reported the profile for phishing.

5- around 9:45 am- 10:30 am I stopped using the platforms and began a “Supernatural” app workout on my Oculus.

6- This is when the attack happened.

7- I received an email that my account was restricted and I needed to verify my identity, and I did so.

8- I received an email that my ID was rejected

9- I appealed that rejection (and have done so daily over the last 2 weeks to no avail) but my appeal did not go through because “no one is available to review this right now” and it seems that is not going to change in the foreseeable future

10- I continued to receive emails about my friends status updates on Facebook. When I clicked one of them, I was taken to a page showing four restrictions on my account, each for “child nudity and exploitation” - this is nonsensical because I have never posted anything of the sort.

9/14/22

1- I continued recovery efforts through every possible avenue: digital, email, phone, etc.

9/17/22

1- I received an email that my account was permanently disabled and I am disallowed from using the platform. The email stated this decision was final and not appealable.

2- I continued my efforts to appeal, as I did nothing wrong

9/18/22

1- I started a new Facebook and new Instagram account in hopes of regaining control of my business assets

2- I continued to look for appeal avenues, to no avail

9/21/22

1- Facebook disabled my new account and sent me the message “it appears you are using two accounts”, linked my new account to my old one, and sent me in the same loop of appeal rejections I was in for the original account

9/27/22

1- Whatsapp disabled my access through my business number, notifying me in an email that I have violated Meta’s terms through Facebook and cannot use the platform

2- I emailed back and got a human response once, and then again asking for a human review. The next email from WhatsApp indicated that my number and email address are both flagged and no one will respond to me, and that was final.

9/28/22-9/29/22

1- I continued my recovery efforts, to no avail

2- printed a letter and mailed it, with tracking, to 1 Facebook Way Menlo Park, CA

3- a friend sent me a screen capture of her messenger warning that inappropriate content was being shared through her account. She logged into her computer and found someone (somewhere else) composing a message with a picture of a naked woman in it. These people are targeting my friends list. She closed the message, logged out of all meta assets everywhere and changed her passwords to save her account.

9/30/22

1- I filed an FBI cyber crimes report

2- I engaged an attorney to file for defamation against Facebook, but have not put that into action quite yet as I hope this complaint will gain a response

3- I filed this complaint

Things I have done to rectify this before filing this complaint:

1- Verified my Identity by sending a copy of my driver's license and passport to Meta (through their digital resources to do so) to no avail

2- exhausted all available appeals requests (digitally)

3- emailed dozens of working email addresses for: Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Meta, and Oculus

4- Called each branch of the company directly (got a recording stating there was no customer support available)

5- found and called the meta data center in Huntsville, no help.

6- Filed an FBI cyber crimes complaint

7- engaged an attorney to potentially file a defamation suit against Facebook

8- mailed Facebook through the US postal service with signature required and tracking information (letter expected to arrive Monday 10/3/22)

Please, someone, help me regain access to my assets. Not only for business purposes but 14 years of family history including the birth and adoption of my two youngest children, the deaths of my parents, my wedding… everything is there.

I have lots of records of all of this including a screen capture of the Facebook notification that I responded to which started all of this. I have every communication and effort documented.

I have attached some screen captures here including the one from my friend who was able to prevent her account from being disabled because she was fortunate enough to catch the hackers in the act. There is one photo of my cat on a treadmill attached. That photo is relevant because it is the last thing I posted on Facebook before starting my Oculus workout that day. My timeline matches up and the digital footprint of it should be enough to clear my name.

Hello, I need to invoice Facebook for a fraudulent auction. This fake "sponsor" was an online auction and cost me 20.000. I am placing this responsibility on Facebook for not verifying their ads and sponsors. I listed a pair of sneakers on 9/14/22. I sold them and shipped to customer 9/15/22. the tracking numer is 1Z2A480R0312950640. They were delivered to the customer and I am still awaiting my payout. This is unacceptable. At this point i feel like facebook robbed me.

I had to set up a second account as I purchased a new computer so MSN would not allow me to transfer my stuff to my new computer so I had to set up the new Facebook. I have been penalized for a photo I posted 2 years ago. Was reprimanded and was not able to post 2 years ago. Suddenly the picture appears, and I was again penalized for this photo. The picture has been posted like I just reposted it when I did not. It says on the pic the date of posting. I really don't understand why FB would remove me. I have never done anything wrong. I came home yesterday, found that I had been hacked. I have an account with HP. I pay every month for Smart Friend to help me out with a problem and also have my PC protection. Hp tried to get me back in, I do not have a cell phone, ONLY a land line. So HP can work faster to fix problems. He got me back up, and less than an hour you sent me an email saying they are going to close me from FB. I clicked to ask you not to do that in 30 days, October 27, 2022. I can't receive codes, with no cell phone. HP had everything straight, with new PW's and entered them. I don't know what you expect me to do when I don't have a cell phone. FB has alot of people on their that say bad things sometimes, I don't do that. I was hacked and Facebook did nothing to help in the situation. In fact they did the opposite. They deleted 15 years of photos, conversations, and information for my deceased father that I will never be able to view ever again. I requested a review of my account and provided my federal ID and the denied my request due to "Not having enough reviewers due to covid-19". Really, we are past covid-19. After that fact, I requested that I be able to download my information. They denied my request. They also deleted my Instagram account and deleted my business account as well. They have absolutely zero customer service and pretty much treat you like cattle going to the butcher barn.

It used to be that if you scrolled down a friend's page to look at old posts, if you clicked the post and then closed the window, you would end up at the same place as where you clicked it. About a year ago, apparently due to Facebook hiring low cost, inexperienced programmers who don't know how to test out programming changes, now, if you click a picture and then close it, you go back to the beginning of the posts and have to scroll down to where you were. This is stupid. Why did Facebook change it? It has to be because, like so many things on Facebook, you hire poor quality programmers who don't know how to test out things when they change it. This bug has been in the software for over a year, but no one is smart enough to put it back to the way it used to be. Why can't you hire competent people to do your programming?
