eBay review: GE main board

Comments:This buyer I believe intentionally used my board to troubleshoot the issue he has with his refrigerator. And since the board did not fix his issue, he wants to return it under the guise of it not being as described in the photos. The only difference is the box I shipped it in and that's it. I even sent my copy of the invoice from Marcone Appliance dated 8/6/2026. I would send that proof if there was a way to attach it here. This practice of returning items under the guise of not being described accurately goes on a lot on Ebay, and there has to be a way to shut it down. I can produce my evidence as this item is a genuine GE product. And I will not accept his return request. Also if this guy had plugged it into his refrigerator and damaged the circuitry while doing it, I can't resell it as new. He received the item at 12 noon and filed for return at 6pm leaving him all day to use my item for his troubleshooting. I won't have it and Ebay should back me up here.

I have already expressed my opinion to the buyer. I will not give him a refund. I was a GE Service Tech for 25 years and this guy is a scammer and a liar. I inclosed the invoice with the board to prove it was a genuine GE part. This backyard mechanic used the board for troubleshooting, did not solve his issue and wants to return it under the guise of not being genuine. I won't have it, he bought it as non returnable and that the way it is. NOT RETURNABLE!

Next, they alienated their sellers by removing the ability to leave negative feedback. Take it from someone who knows–some buyers absolutely deserve negative feedback. I had some buyers who were nightmares. The terrible experiences I had with them made me despise eBay, especially when I had no recourse and had to accept getting scammed. You would be shocked to read some of the absurd emails that popped into my inbox from people. eBay will do one thing for sure: They will let you know that there are some serious crazies in this world. and get scammed by dishonest buyers looking to get free stuff
