They charged my cc $96. April 5 to renew subscription. I didn't want to renew, but could not contact anyone to cancel. I disputed with my cc and they credited my cc on April 17. CC company debited my account on April 20 saying they could find no cause for dispute. In the meantime, my account with DoorDash was canceled, I could not log in or use the service...

DoorDash Refund to card

Hi,

I had an order made on the 20th of April 2023 and the dasher cancelled it, money was taken from my account and a refund was apparently made, it has been 2 weeks and I have not received my refund back onto the original payment method I have also contacted my bank and they have confirmed that I am still yet to receive my refund. They were saying that my money was never taken then saying to expect a refund within 10 days. I was told so many things. And now I don’t even have a trace on my statement of the transaction or even if the money has been deposited which it hasn’t, which was confirmed by bank

The store I purchased from was coles.

DoorDash Petsmart Delivery

I placed an order with Petsmart and chose Door Dash to deliver my order, however, the driver delivered my order to another address. At 6:15 PM, 3 hours - 15 minutes after the window delivery time, one of my neighbors showed up at my door with a Petsmart bag.

I brought it in the house and pulled the cans out of the bag, they were very warm. The dog food should not be warm, it should be stored in a cool place.

I am concerned that these cans will make my dogs sick.

How can this be remedied?

DoorDash Order from kentucky fried chicken

Hello. I wish to file a complaint and request a refund for an order that I placed for Kentucky Fried Chicken on April 13, 2023, on the KFC website. I placed an order in the amount of $35.80 under KFC Order # [protected].

Your doordash driver, Mickialya, sent a message stating that my order has been delivered and that the status could be tracked via: https://drd.sh/MvT9ziMoSrWJ8Ofd. This message was sent on 4/13/23 at 6:31 pm EST. However, when I went to my front door the order was not there. I didn't have a phone number to reach her so I called DoorDash but the rep said she didn't have a phone number either. The rep tried to put it back on KFC and even attempted to call them at the Sam Nunn location in Perry, GA, but she said no one ever answered the phone. I told her that DoorDash needs to refund me since it was their driver that said the order was delivered but she would not refund my money and went on to say that I should follow-up with KFC. Why do I need to follow-up with anyone when I am the customer? I didn't have to follow-up with anyone when my money was debited from my account. However, I did make a few attempts to call KFC but I have yet to get anyone to answer the phone but after further thinking, your driver is responsible for the theft.

As far as I am concerned, this is poor customer service and I want my money back. I plan to take this to the Better Business Bureau and up to your corporate office and wherever else I need to.

DoorDash Rude dasher

I would like to let you know about the experience I had with the one of you dasher. On 4/25/23, I order some McDonald’s because I was at work and I couldn’t leave and I also have a eating disorder so eating something is already hard enough, yes I am getting help and it’s getting easy to handle it. Anyways, my food got here in a good time and I am very thankful for that. When I went out to get it, I greeted her nicely and I thanked her for coming and looked at me and said “ is the your order” I replied “ yes, thank you for coming out here” she said (rudely) “ Well this is a long way to come out here for no tip” and she ran out of the building. I found this very upsetting and honestly it made me not want to eat my food. The last time I checked you can choose which order you take. I don’t know what your protocol is but I can imagine it have something along the lines of, treat customer with kindness. I believe kindness is key specially in this world because if we were all kind there wouldn’t be as much hate in this world. The dashers name is LaRaine, she is from Ottumwa IA, 52501. Sorry if this came across as rude but a tip is optional.

Thank you for all you do!

DoorDash did not receive order

4/13/23 Thursday night 9:30pm delivery; pizza from round table not delivered. Emailed customer service and was sent a picture from the dasher. Pizza was delivered to the neighbor and denied my request for refund. Emailed again numerous times and was advised cannot respond to their email; need to contact customer service again.

4/14/23 - Called customer service and advised will investigate and the rep was in a hurry to end my call.

4/15/23 - Called again and the rep said will investigate and obviously wanted to get rid of me.

04/17/23 - Rep said system is not available. The said she cannot give a refund of the timeframe. Insisted that I have been contacting them from day 1.

No supervisor available to talk to me. Rep said she will forward to the supervisor who will call me within 24 hours.

Desired outcome: Refund not credit.

04/18/23 - No supervisor called. Tried the chat line this time and spoke with another rep. Seems liike their call centers are outsourced in India and the Philippines. Again the rep said ended the chat stating "PLEASE UNDERSTAND ITS DOORDASH POLICY NO ONE CAN GIVE YOU COMPENSATION." I have explained to them numerous times that the order was delivered to the wrong house and I have a picture based on the original picture sent to me from the Dasher. Our house number is 115 and it was delivered to 119. Doesn't make any sense that Doordash cannot be liable for their mistake. I will try to attach the pictures on this site.

DoorDash Tindrum Food

Me and my family were waiting on our food after having a hard day and all we wanted to do was eat. We were anticipating a message because we have a gate and normally they will call or send a message to tell us that we need to open the gate. However, I didn't receive a notification for a message. I received a notification saying our order was dropped off. I looked at the picture that was sent and the person who dropped off my order left my food on the steps next to my apartment. I went outside to check if it was there and nothing was there. I continued to check my whole neighborhood and the food was nowhere to be found. I am so tired of the hiring process within doordash we need more people who are responsible for peoples food.

DoorDash They charge more than what prices are on menus

It's a total ripoff. They charged us 1 or more dollars for each food item we ordered from Taco Bell. We decided to go pick up the food ourselves and it saved us $33. We ended up paying half of the 33 dollars by driving 3 miles down the road to Taco Bell. They overcharge us for the food. Which we could not believe we even told the manager at Taco Bell he said he will investigate this they should not charge more than there prices online. Well, they did big time their crooks. All people have to do is go to the store online and compare prices to doordash prices you will find they add at least a dollar to menu prices.

On that note they dont pay drivers crap! ill get a delivery for 12.00 to go 10 miles and its a 10.00 tip so door dash pay is only 2.00! come on! consider gas prices...Also customers need to realize we depend on the tips. Theres no way i would drive for their pay alone...Most deliveries are like 2 to 4 from door dash:(

DoorDash My no delivery from whataburger I paid for. March 17

I did everything right. Doesnt matter to door dash. I had an order from whataburger that never arrived. I contacted door dash I even told them where my order was delivered. Nothing I could say they would not give me a refund for the order I didnt recieve. I contacted them as soon as the debit posted, iam a senior lady I dont lie. They could see where their dumb delivery guy left the order I was charged for. I was a regular to door dash but they stole 44.00 from me. Next the bbb my sister works there. Heck of a way to run a business.

DoorDash Poor overall customer service

I’m having a very hard time comprehending how money is instantly taken from our debit card/bank account before DoorDash makes sure the restaurant is actually going to make the order and pass it off to a dasher. The money comes out in seconds, but wait. 3–5 days to return it, even if it’s no fault of my own. I completely understand why my wife canceled her DoorDash account. Frankly this is a sad, pathetic way to do business. What ever happen to the customer is always right? Because your customer service always states otherwise. I’m so sorry, is all the ever say. They don’t even read messages. Probably not even a person, even if you ask for a person. DoorDash's employees are under trained and do nothing to serve your customers. Still never got that order/ nor my money back. I’m so sorry is all they ever say. Really? If you actually cared and were so sorry, then you’d instantly return my money the same way you instantly took it. I’m surprised you all haven’t been sued yet. Wait for it, because you will be sued for being oh so sorry you didn’t refund all your so-called customers their hard earned money back.

Before Delivery, I put a note on the Front Door to put items on the Back Porch, and left a envelope on the back door for a tip.

2022-12-30 Petco DoorDash Delivered 2 Items Dry Cay Food. 1st Driver Oleksandr M: Fri Dec. 30 2:27PM. Driver left package on the front porch not far from the top of the stairs, nowhere close to the Front Door and ignored the note. Called Petco customer service to see where the cat treats were, because their not in the bag with the cat food. She looked it up and found a picture from 2nd Driver Tyson A. 2022-12-30 Petco DoorDash Delivered 1 Item Cat Treats. Fri Dec. 30 2:32PM. He Left Bag hanging on back gate on the outside of the fence for some one to steal. If I hadn't called their customer service I would have never found the bag.

One Driver could have Delivered all 3 items together, all were on the same Order number: [protected]. Both Drivers left Pictures, attached so you can see the note on the front door. Picture 1st the Driver took and where the bag was left on th front porchand 2nd Driver's picture left the bag hanging on back gate.

I will never do DoorDash again and will use Petco Curb Side P/U for now on.

So, neither one of them got a Tip. Unacceptable service

Driver did not follow direction and left the bag on the street on top og my mailbox instead of driving around the corner where my driveway is and put on the back porch.

In the drivers picture you can see my house in the back ground with the bag on the mail box. If they hadn't took a picture not have found the bag and someone could have took it. I would have had to call Petsmart to let them know I didn't recv the cats items

I should have started taking my pic's and keeping DoorDash Driver's pictures of them not following direction and where they leave items. This is a on going issue since 2020.

DoorDash Dasher support

11:47 pm on 2/3/23 I delivered an order. I wasn’t sure it was the correct house & the customers drop off instructions said to “leave at my door”. There was a gate and then the front door was about 50ft away. Not knowing about animals ect. I chose to leave the order at the gate. I had no phone service in that area, I wanted to be sure that no animals got the food and that the customer knew the food was at the gate… So I drive back to where I could get phone service… about 3 miles closer to town.. I initiated a text to the support team. A serving text asking if there was anyone there.. and a third, stating my frustration And not being able to connect with a “human” I waited some more (total wait time was 9 minutes)

No one ever responded and no follow up from Doordash Support was done. How unprofessional and unsafe is that? Your asking me to deliver food for you and I can’t the support i need! What if something would have happened to me? I was out in the middle of nowhere! This brings up some definite red flags for me and for the safety of all Delivery Drivers For Door Dash.

Desired outcome: An understanding that I will be supported while doing deliveries & working for this Company. I would like to feel comfort in knowing I will be safe and that support is there.What responsibility does Doordash take?

DoorDash Paid for a DoorPass subscription and never received it.

In December, 2022 I applied for a DoorPass subscription during their one year half off promotion and they took my $59.00 payment for it.

In January I ordered a meal from Chick-Fil-A and I was charged a delivery fee. When I asked them why they said I wasn't a DoorPass member.

I showed them my payment for subscription and when they took it out of my account. All they said was they would look into it. I haven't heard back from them since whether or not I was a member or received a refund.

DoorDash Never ever get my order right

Tonight I ordered from the dollar general the dasher asked what I wanted for my substitutes etc I told her 30min later she calls and say I don’t know what I’m doing ur gonna have to do something o explained to her how to get me a new dasher so I didn’t have to cancel my order 30 min later I got a hold of support myself was told Bc they cancelled my ordered they would refund me instantly and so I tried to reorder not thinking any thing of it an it reads insufficient funds went to look at my account and they didn’t refund me I get ahold of support and they said Bc I have complained so much I will get and email this is what I was told last time nothing was done

DoorDash Unauthorised deduction from bank account

An amount of $31.88 was deducted by Doordash on 23/01/2023 from my bank account without my authorisation. A previous transaction on 10/12/2022 for $64.56 was authorised. This has happened previously where following an authorised transaction, several unauthorized transactions followed and I had to cancel my bank card as a result. I am not prepared for this to happen again.

I have contacted my bank and they have suggested I first contact Doordash direct as opposed to having to cancel my card again.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and an explanation as to why this has occured.

DoorDash Deliveries frequently being incomplete.

I want to be clear - I am not complaining about a dasher; I am complaining about the fact that restaurants that participate with Door Dash are never held accountable for sending out food that is both inaccurate and incomplete per what was ordered and charged. The dasher cannot go back to collect the missing parts of the order. The restaurant says they’ll be happy to provide the missing items if I will drive to get it. (Newsflash - if I wanted to have to do my own pick up, I wouldn’t have placed my order with Door Dash to begin with. And what idiots think it is okay to have half my dinner now, and half later, after I have to make a special trip to get the missing items?). This is both illogical and terrible customer service. Only establishments that can get it right and consistently do right by their customers should be allowed to work through Door Dash. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!

DoorDash Your apps are poorly designed to encourage driver service.

For about the 20th time, we have been left by doordashers that drop our order because it's too inconvenient for the 20% tip we offer.

The whole concept of 'tipping before you receive your order' is utterly ridiculous. It encourages dashers to play favorites, ditch or steal bits of the order, and drop off at wrong addresses or lazily abandoning orders.

You shouldn't even apply tips until after the delivery has been made, such as in the uber app.

You should also demand that drivers at the very least knock on doors or ring the bell. Over half of our orders go astray because the drivers 'drop and ditch'.

The app design, and the webapp design, is badly configured.

Desired outcome: Change the web program and app to allow customers to tip AFTER their order has been delivered, based on the actual driver performance, and prevent drivers from being able to pick and choose based exclusively on tips.

Brigadon…Have you ever driven for DoorDash?! It sounds like you haven’t making utterly ridiculous comments like this. No driver wants to drive 15 miles for a $2 tip when the national average for a gallon of gas is $4. If you feel this way go get it yourself or call a loved one to do it for free.

DoorDash Ordered from app, restaurant is closed for whatever reason.

1/1/2023 10:30am I ordered food from Big Sharks Fish and Chicken. I placed the order, received email and text of confirmation that the restaurant have received my order and are preparing. I waited about 45 mins to an hour to receive my food. I always have to check my phone to look at the driver picking up my food and bringing it to me. I have to look at my phone when I have placed the order because I have had countless issues with door dash before. The driver had made it to the restaurant to pick up my order. I received a text from the driver saying the restaurant is closed. I assured the driver the restaurant was open because the app says that it was opened. The restaurant would be dimmed if not opened or not in service. Called the customer service line because now I’m frustrated. Talking with the agent was no help either. The customer service agent had to be new because she didn’t understand anything. Already I understood that I would be refunded back my money. Slowly explaining everything to the agent made the situation even worse. I had to calmly ask her why in app the restaurant says opened, but the restaurant is close. One of her explanation were that the restaurant doesn’t tell door dash they are closed. That did not make any sense whatsoever because the restaurant pays door dash to advertise their food. Door dash does not make nor sells the food. Her second explanation was that something must be wrong with my phone. Now I’m turning colors, she’s just telling me anything to get off the phone. At this point I’m just ready to flip out on her. So I just hung up because I was getting ready to use vulgar language towards her. It was to early in the morning for nonsense. I ended up getting a refund back. The reason why I’m so upset with door dash because, if you want your money back onto your bank card it would wait 3-5 Business days to receive money. People don’t have money sitting around to spend not receive what he / she has ordered then it takes a couple of days to give it back. I’m pretty sure door dasher know about the recession that we’re in. Door Dashers is losing money too. Nobody wants to just spend money, and especially a funky $50 for outside food (that will be eaten within an hr), and still has to make meals for the rest of the day. The situation was poorly taken care of. The entire situation was messed up. Not only did I have to reorder my food again but now I have wait another 45 mins to an hour to receive my food in my hands. Door dash does not give crap about their customers. Then I read the rating and reviews that was left from other customers. One person said they were closed since 4/1/22. So the restaurant has been closed since April. In the app it’s open for businesses. I did tell the agent “so door dash is taking people money”. They will refund it back to your bank card. It’s just going to take a couple of days to it back to you. That’s technically stealing.

Desired outcome: An explanation of why they have restaurants open in their app, and the restaurants are not currently open. Why are you guys creating angry customers? They have to why, or they don’t care.

DoorDash Never receiving order and not getting a refund.

On December 23 2022 I placed two orders. One for Antelope liquor $31.44 and one for Cheveron 33.44. The driver came and said he would not deliver, my daughter which is 31 years old and present with ID, he still refused. I then placed another order that never came. I contacted door dash customer service the next morning and chatted with the person on the other end. I sounded like I would be getting a refund. I also have screen shots of the conversation. Then 5 days later I hadn't heard back so I contacted them again and was told sorry we can't give you a refund. Yesterday I contacted them again the 29 and asked for a phone number [protected]) I spooke with someone and they said I would get a call back within two hours and he would also call back and see if this matter is taken care of. Well never got a call back. I feel if I didn't get my orders I shouldn't have to pay 64.88. If this matter is taken care of asap I will take further action, At this point door dash has very poor customer service.
