The floors are filthy.
I just hate going into the Dollar Store in Scott City, Kansas. I was in the store on September 22, 2020. The isles was so packed with freight you can't get down the isles. The floors are really filthy. I don't understand how and why that store is the way it is. I have been in Leoti, and Dighton stores and they are very clean and they are not crowded isles.

I went to my local DG Store on McCormick Rd in Amarillo, TX. The employees there were not wearing masks and when I asked them why.. they were rude. They were telling me that masks didn't work and said that the CDC rules made them post the signs and that they didn't impose it on anyone to wear a mask. I asked if as employees they were required to wear them. They said they didn't have to. I am going to go to another Dollar chain if this is your policy. I can't believe the rudeness and inconsideration of these employees.

I am a frequent shopper (at least 3 times per week) at your store #17423. Every time I go in the employees aren't wearing any masks, and customers are all over the store without masks. I just left there, (about 3:00pm on mon sept 14) and saw 2 employees at counter talking with some customers, no masks. There are signs on doors and registers stating masks must be worn, and I know Biloxi has a regulation concerning this. Are you going to enforce this or not? If not I will be shopping at a different chain.

I use the same dollar store in stony point NC. Lately I have noticed that the shelves are not being restocked in a timely manner anymore. I have went to that store almost every single day for the last few weeks trying to get flying insect spray but it has not been there yet. and the aisles are full of product. Its not just at that location either. I have been in some of your stores where I could not even get down the aisles for all the products. I believe there are 2 reasons for this problem. First I do not believe you are paying your employees enough money. Secondly I know that in the past you had some very good workers there and they are now gone. I have seen that there are one or two people working at the store who just seem to be lazy. Its sad because I know how hard it makes it for the others working there to have to try and make up the difference. I think you should really consider giving a raise to the good workers and weed out the ones who just simply do not care about the customers or their position. In fact if you were to do this I would consider working for you myself.
It is the same situation here in Addis Louisiana although I know that there is only one associate working the register and trying to stock whenever there are no customers which is hardly ever. It's in my opinion due to cutbacks and underpayment. They are expecting way too much from each individual associate for minimum wage.
Customer service
Recently in the last months a dollar general opened. I've been in maybe 10-15 different times as it's a convient stop for me. However, upon each visit the customer service I not only witness, but receive as well is awful. The employees are very hateful speaking to customers. I understand people have bad days, but it's different when it's the same upon every visit to the point where I would rather take my business elsewhere even if it means paying more for the product I purchase. Today took the cake though. Not only was the cashier rude at the register and was rushing me out the door before I even completed my purchase, but it was a bit biased that this woman was so friendly with the black lady in front of me and then very rude to me and my child. Highly inappropriate behavior to display in front of children.
Heartland dog foods
I HAD a litter of 7 puppies Great Dane and I lost 4 of my fur babies to this food. And 1 vet bill of $768 to save one.! Not to mention the hours I spent nursing these dogs with a syringe of chicken broth. This was my Danes last litter of puppies and just to think I lost half the litter was devastating to our family we are Huge dog people and this is very disheartening to us

Sanitation
The dollar general store located at the corner of davis park road and linwood av. In gastonia nc does not enforce the employees to wear face masks, nor does the store provide any cleaning wipes for the shopping carts or even have a cleaning program for the shopping carts. I find this to be totally unacceptable during these times and will be filling a complaint with the state health department if this is not resolved.

I live near store in McDaniels Ky, We are avoiding this store as much as possible. Reasons: Very unorganized, poorly stocked, always out of stuff, long lines at check out, one checker. My wheelchair cant get down isles
One good thing, they recently added some fresh produce.
Please hire enough people to stock & keep organized. Add self check outs.
Stock more milk, juice, ect.

Regarding visit
On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. I went to the Dollar General store located on Village Road, Leland, NC 28451. Before I entered the building I put my mask on my face and read the sign on the door that said "Mask Required" with the male and female on the sign with their mask on. The first person I encountered was a vendor close to the front door putting product on the floor. He not only did not have a mask on his face, he did not even have on around his neck. As I walked through the store, I encountered 2 employees with their mask under their necks. I asked one of them, "Aren't you supposed to have your mask over your nose and mouth while there are customers within 6 feet of you"? She just looked at me like I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead and never said a word. I told her I would not shop in a store that would not follow State guidelines and I walked out. I know that it is hard to "make" customers wear a mask but it should be mandatory for employees for their and my protection. It's the law in the state of North Carolina.
