Hours cut for dedicated workers
I have a grandson who has been working for one of your stores always ging above and beyond what any employee would do. He alaways work when schedule and went in and work when some one didn't show up. I don;t know what to think of company who cuts person from 30 hr to 12 then down to six hr a week. No wonder the stores have a big turn over of employee. I be one to make sure he finds a better company to work for thank you

I was in your store at 4117 Mountain Rd over the weekend. When I went to check out, there was a woman in front of me with just maybe 2 items. She was looking for a cup. The young man, short brown/strawberry hair was at the checkout. The line was starting to form. He told her to go back and look through cups to find one on sale/marked down. So now the line gets longer, and personally it was warm, we had our masks on. She finally came back but wanted some change, he said no because of the coin shortage. now lets wait for her to find her credit card. I pulled my mask away from my face a bit and said I dont know why there is a change shortage. He yelled at me put your mask on. They continue to repremand me in front of everyone. Please refrain from telling me about the mask, i wasnt coughing or anything else and didnt even have the mask completely off.
Ok, i had a cart full of stuff, and I left it there and walked out. First he should not have held up the line, or called for help, and how dare he talk to someone like that. The good news is that there are many stores including amazon that I can shop at!

I used the self checkout and used my debit card- it asked me if I wanted cash back, I selected yes and chose my amount, my card was approved and no cash was dispensed, I asked the cashier to call someone, she called for a manager who I told the same thing to, she was only going to refund the transaction fee of $1.00, I told her I requested cash back- she stated it's not set up for that and was originally not going to give me my money stating her drawer would be short. It is not my problem that the self checkout asks if you want cash back, it shouldn't be set up in such a fashion, this needs to be fixed ASAP. I did receive my money and probably will not shop at this dollar general again.
Tidiness of store.
The store in Waterloo, IN is such a mess. I do not understand why product can not be removed from shelves and put away and then bring in a cart at a time to put inventory away. Sometimes 5 to 6 carts full of inventory in the aisles. Can't get to product and barely get down the aisle. I know of a person who asked to work P/T during the week to put inventory...

The managers make the older employees do all the work while younger sit around talking it's bull and let them use others registers that are not there own. I went to my local DG Store on McCormick Rd in Amarillo, TX. The employees there were not wearing masks and when I asked them why.. they were rude. They were telling me that masks didn't work and said that the CDC rules made them post the signs and that they didn't impose it on anyone to wear a mask. I asked if as employees they were required to wear them. They said they didn't have to. I am going to go to another Dollar chain if this is your policy. I can't believe the rudeness and inconsideration of these employees.

I am a frequent shopper (at least 3 times per week) at your store #17423. Every time I go in the employees aren't wearing any masks, and customers are all over the store without masks. I just left there, (about 3:00pm on mon sept 14) and saw 2 employees at counter talking with some customers, no masks. There are signs on doors and registers stating masks must be worn, and I know Biloxi has a regulation concerning this. Are you going to enforce this or not?
